Came here for a rehearsal dinner recently and had the best time! The drinks (specifically the Aperol Spritz and Mai Tai) were so well made. I mean these are classic cocktails, so when a place does them well and with care, it's important to acknowledge. I'm not sure if our set menu was different from the everyday one... but the pasta alla Genovese was soooooo good. Not to mention my table went through six rounds of their bread and olive oil dip! The "Perfect Pear" is a must-try for sweet drink lovers, featuring pear vodka, pear liqueur, reduced pear nectar, and lemon. My mom loved the "Monkey Business," a unique blend of banana-infused rum, amaro, fig cordial, and a special house blend of bitters. Appetizers kicked off with the Port Wine Braised Veal Arancini, served over Madeira demi with aged Parmigiano Reggiano--a sensational dish that elevates arancini to new heights with its rich flavors, scoring a perfect 10/10. The octopus dish with tomato and herb broth, chorizo, and clams was delicious, though the potatoes could have used a bit more cooking, earning an 8/10. Entrees: The Ricotta Gnocchi with its creamy buffalo mozzarella and luscious sauce was a crowd-pleaser at 9/10. My partner and I had a Christmas gift certificate and nearly 6 months later, we decided to use it at Rossetti in Beverly. It was in all ways an outstanding meal. We were served by Gianna B, a very attentive and welcoming server. We opened the meal with the Crispy Calamari and the Meatballs. The calamari were light and tender, and the meatballs were nicely infused with cheeses and herbs. Our main course was Chicken Saltimbocca, and as the name implies, the flavors jump off the plate and into our mouths. We added the Crispy Brussel Sprouts, which were crisped in bacon and maple. It was a real hit. For dessert, we had the Limoncello cake, suggested by Gianna. One of the best features of the meal was the timing of the service. We had time to chat at first, then eat the apps, and when we were delightfully finished (and only then) did the chicken and brussel sprouts arrive. When we finished the apps, we got all new plates and utensils, and we were never rushed at all. We requested, and received, the quietest possible table. It was a 5:30 reservation and we left Rossetti at about 7:00. There were multiple servers who brought our food to the table, and this gave a feeling of real teamwork and collegiality among the staff. Finally, we shared the Chicken, and they were happy to offer it on two plates, each of which was more than enough for us. I recently organized a corporate fundraiser to benefit childhood cancer research, and Rossetti made a very kind donation despite the fact I hadn't ever dined there. Wanting to give them my business for their generosity, I suggested to my parents that we give them a try for dinner this past Friday night prior to seeing a show at the Cabot. All I can say is wow -- everything here is truly superb! The ambience, decor, service, and food were all exceptional. We were particularly impressed by the way the entire crew seemed to operate like a well-oiled machine. Service by our waitress, Claudia, was wonderful and timely, and the everything going by from both the kitchen and the bar looked artfully crafted and delicious. We all thoroughly enjoyed our shared appetizer and individual meals. It was apparent that each dish had been made with very high quality ingredients -- simple enough that each one shined but still complex and wonderful in flavor. The manager, Toni, even came over to check on us and recognized me as the person she mailed their donation to when I introduced myself. I thought that was so nice. Price was sky high and not justified by the quality of the food. I have no idea how this place is still in business-- the food is good but at that price? Please. The gem of the menu is the ricotta gnocchi. It's a solid 8/10. Nothing else really compares. Ambience is good, ceilings are high, the crowd is overwhelmingly older. Do not trust them when asking for wine. We asked for a light crisp white, something affordable (two recent grads already spending a bit on dinner). We were recommended three bottles and asked for the cheapest. Found out it was a 60$ bottle of wine being sold for under $20 at total wine, and NOT the least expensive of what we were offered. read more

I'm really disappointed with Rosetti's in Beverly. Their website doesn't mention that the only way to sit at the bar is with a reservation -- there are no open bar seats at all. I took an Uber there expecting normal bar seating, only to find out they won't let anyone sit at the bar without a reservation. After spending over $40 in Uber rides, I turned right around and left. This is incredibly frustrating and misleading. If that's their policy, they should clearly state it online so people don't waste their time and money. I got the prosciutto grilled pizza (without blue cheese) and it was very tasty and not too heavy. Good proportion of ingredients and flavor combo. Two of my girlfriends and I made a reservation a couple weeks in advance for a Friday night at 7 PM. I arrived about 15 minutes early and was told that they were clearing our table. Unfortunately, the table wasn't ready until 9 minutes after our reservation time, so that was a bummer, but it was all gravy from there. Once we were seated, we asked the waitress for some drink recommendations and she gave some helpful descriptions of the cocktails. I wanted a Vesper, which wasn't on-menu, but they were able to make it for me. It was mixed perfectly! My friends both got the pear cocktail and loved it. I tried it and it was pear-licious without being too sweet. We were given some bread and olive oil with spices and parmesan in it (I think), and it was delicious. It took everything I had not to stuff my face with more bread. We were asked if we wanted more, but declined for the sake of our entrees. I ordered the bolognese which was a nice, hearty portion of fresh pasta and robust meat sauce (veal, pork, beef). I was only able to eat about half, so it made a fantastic breakfast the next day - ha. One of my friends comes here often and she always gets the 1/2 veal, 1/2 eggplant parm. My other friend got the chicken margherita dish (not pizza). We were all totally into our large plates of food! For drink round 2, I got a boulevardier (again - not on menu) which tasted great! They obviously take a lot of care with their drink program and have lovely garnishes, gorgeous glassware - the whole nine yards. I wouldn't have expected such a high level cocktail program out in Beverly, but I got some of the best cocktails I've had in a while. For dessert, I ordered the espresso martini (heehee) and my friend maaaade us all share the ice cream sundae. The staff was super accommodating and they were able to put the dessert into separate bowls for us instead of 3 of us digging out of the same ice cream bowl. That was definitely above and beyond and appreciated - especially in these covid times. Even though Rossetti is out of the way for me, I would 100% come back here to try different entrees and more of those yummy cocktails! read more

We've come here a few times before seeing a show at the North Shore Music Theatre and it's ALWAYS a hit. The pasta is always fresh and delicious and all entrees are worth trying. We love getting the antipasto plate - a small is perfect for four if you want to pick at something but also finish your meal. Love the cocktail list also. I have always enjoyed Rossetti's until last night . Our experience was awful. The 3 of us had reservations at 5:15 pm, and we told our waitress we were going to a 7:30pm show that evening . Not a problem we were told ! Fast forward , our 3 pasta dishes we ordered were delivered to our table at 7pm, 1 and 1/2 hours later! We started out asking for a bottle of Raeburn Chardonnay . We were told by our waitress that they were running "low" on this particular wine and the 3 of us had to order by the glass!!!!! All 3 of us eventually ended up ordering a second glass of wine ; it made no sense to us that they refused to sell us a bottle . Was this a way for them to make more money off of us? Last comment is that we ordered the Pear and Buffalo salad special to be shared by the 3 of us , and we were never brought individual plates . We use our bread dishes instead. Salad was yummy , but minuscule, hardly enough to be shared . One final comment about the new menu; a big disappointment !!!!!They removed alot of items that were formerly on the menu . ie: flat breads, octopus, and their "house salad " to name a few. I was excited to be able to get a late-breaking reservation on a Friday night to celebrate my birthday! We were warmly greeted at the reception stand with a smile and promptly seated to a special corner table adjacent to the fireplace. Although I requested this table sharing it was our favorite, it was so nice to see that a request is not only read, it's honored when possible - thank you! Our server was Rachel, who was fantastic! Rachel was very friendly, knowledgeable and went out of her way to ensure we were having a great time and enjoyed our dinner and night together, always makes a positive difference...and I find the entire staff to go out of their way for their customers! I was there the night before having a drink at the bar and our mixologist has been there since the opening. To me this is a clear indication of their leadership who is always present and also wants to ensure your dinner and evening is the best it could be! Speaking of dinner, ours was excellent! We started with the arugula salad and loved that we asked it to be a mix of romaine and arugula - was perfect! We enjoyed both of our entrees, my husband chose the Chicken Braciolettini, stuffed chicken breasts with prosciutto which was very flavorful and I got Chicken Piccata with gnocchi, their gnocchi are really the best! We were in a hurry to get home, taking care of our son's dog when Rachel offered us a birthday dessert. We thanked her and shared we could not stay and she kindly offered she would pack our cannoli to go! BTW, it was delicious...the shell was so crunchy and the filling with pistachio ends was excellent. The dessert was a true surprise, especially today where people are cutting back, the offering of a dessert for a special occasion when it's not expected was so nice and speaks highly of the entire Rosetti operation. Brunch! One of the most desirable meals of the weekend, yet, the hardest to do well. Rosettis is by far one of the best brunch places I have been to on the North Shore. They have excellent bar drinks that are creative and festive. We had a great pancake with lemon cello syrup that was to die for. The eggs Benedict were beyond superb. The hollandaise sauce was actually made with lemon, which I can tell you is not often the case. Most restaurants make it with some sort of chicken stock. The ambience was relaxed and upbeat without overpowering music. I give this place two thumbs up. I will be back with company or by myself for sure!! read more

So this place was packed and has a good reputation. We had a half hour wait and so we decided to try it. the receptionists were fantastic, especially the tall blond with curly hair (sorry didn't ask name) and was super understanding when you asked to move since the indoor patio area was super hot and no fans were on (why not?) and May i add very loud. The restaurant is upscale and classy but for some reason very loud... Our waiter was great and helped us to pick the lemon piccata, Gnocchi and Caesar salad. The salad was very fresh, but the dressing could be a little bit more tangy. Also some fresh parm on top would Really be great. The gnocchi was perfect and the red sauce was incredible. The lemon piccata sauce was so perfect and you could taste the butter and lemon but not overpowering. The chicken was so tender and light. The food really was delicious. We had a wedding rehearsal dinner at Rossetti on 8/30 and everything was fantastic. I'd contacted them months ahead to make arrangements, and dealt with Khloe via email and phone. Khloe was very helpful and accommodating in setting everything up, and we were even able to make some special menu arrangements. We had the small room for a party of 16, and I was nervous it wouldn't be big enough, but Khloe assured me it'd work, and it did. The room was set for 16 and we were very happy with the arrangement of seating. We did end up with a few cancellations, so when we arrived, we met Khloe in person, and she and the staff were very helpful in removing a few settings and chairs. Everyone was professional, courteous, and friendly. Our waitress, Lauren, was phenomenal. So friendly, helpful, and attentive, even though she still had a couple other tables to handle out in the main dining area. The food was terrific, and everyone had rave reviews when we finished.
