Had the BEST experience here on Valentine's Day weekend! French onion soup and oysters were SO fresh and delicious. The tomahawk was exceptional as well as the service. We've had the pleasure of being served by Sal, Allen, Jeanne, and Jillian during our visits. All of the servers we have sat with are the best of the best. Jenna the GM brought us to our table in an exclusive private dining area which felt so special. Some other guests were not as excited about this and hassled the host stand, who handled the situation with grace and professionalism. Decor was adorable and festive. I'll keep this short. Met a friend for dinner, restaurant is also a functional hall, it was very quiet. Nice table waiter came right away. Drinks came quick food order was placed. Had salads first, food came very quickly still eating salads. Food was very average. As we were eating a person started cleaning our table you could tell she wanted to leave. This went on all through the meal kept prowling around while we eating. Long story short nothing was good enough to make me come back. I will say the place is large and spacious. Made reservations a few weeks before Valentine's day. Had requested table 16-it's our go to for special occasions. Arrived-was told the party was finishing dessert. Fine to wait, 15 min later were told they were paying the bill. 45 minutes later we were told "they just aren't leaving". We were starving by then. Made Valentines reservations a month ahead. Got put in a back "function room" away from the restaurant. Cold and no atmosphere. Food was ok. They tried to make us happy with free appetizer, except it was 3 small scallops for 4 guests. Did not make us happy. We were on exile island. Hostess tried to defend the restaurant, and was aggressive in her defense. For a "high end" restaurant, with a $600 bill, I would expect way more. Teresa's Prime was amazing. They have a gorgeous restaurant overlooking a large outdoor event space for weddings, etc. It was extremely busy so you definitely need reservations. I don't recall our waiters name but he had a very heavy NY accent and was great, minus forgetting to bring out our oysters first, which was a little off-putting. It took awhile for our food, I'd imagine because it was packed, and it was very loud so a little difficult to converse. Still, absolutely worth checking out, regardless of the occasion. Saw other reviews of the Teresa's Valentine experience and felt compelled to add my comments. Our party was also relegated to the back room beyond the main dining area (which appeared to be very nice as we were ushered through) and just past the restrooms and stacked chairs. The room was decorated for a grade school Valentine's party, although slightly less upscale. Makeshift tables were nicely spaced which allowed for conversation without the distractions of the crackling fireplace or other couples enjoying their experience in the main dining area. The food was above average to be fair, but the overall experience was disappointing and misleading. Our server was also very friendly and helpful. read more

We came in close to closing and were not rushed or made to feel uncomfortable. The bread pudding special was delicious too. But the real shock was when the bill arrived and it was $60 for a turkey dinner! Really???? A glass of wine, a soft drink, two apps, and two turkey dinners came to $200. Very disappointed in what was my worst Thanksgiving meal experience ever. First let's talk about the service. Lackluster server who acted like a fill in who didn't want to be there. No personality; no follow up; nowhere to be found when needed. I ordered a Bloody Mary; came with no garnish at all. Large black flys flying around and on the table. I hit one with the menu. Ok now on to the disappointing food. I had expectations that the food would be as good as on its regular menu. Not so. Very thick slices of dry turkey. Barely any gravy which was thin and watery. I asked for more and I received a small metal condiment container. Still not enough. Green beans and butternut squash were not hot. Tiny piece of cornbread was so dry it crumbled. A tablespoon size of bitter cranberry sauce. So very disappointing. My other table mates took home two dishes and they received four dishes of someone else's food. What a disaster. read more

I went here for New Year's Eve with my boyfriend, and it did not disappoint! Teresa's is a nice upscale Italian/Steakhouse with a great ambiance and excellent food. The service was great too - everyone was friendly and attentive. It was fancy but not over the top. Now, to the food... We split a Caesar salad. Everyone has their own twist on the dressing, and I think they nailed it - I would have eaten a whole one myself...the flavor was that good, but I needed to save room for the goods! The pasta dishes were fabulous - fresh, flavorful, cooked just right, and generous in size. We got the Papparadele Bolognese and Braised Short Rib Rigatoni. The Bolognese had a variety of meat and a decent amount in it. Loved the basil-whipped ricotta, excellent touch; I really liked the contrast between the warmth and coolness of the two together. The Braised Short Rib Rigatoni was absolutely amazing (my mouth is watering thinking about it). The short rib was so tender and juicy, cooked perfectly - and the flavor of the sauce, talk about YUM!! My boyfriend technically had this, so I only got a few bites, but I will definitely be ordering this next time. We did not get any meats/entrees or dessert this time, but definitely on the list to try. I can't really imagine anything not being good here. Teresa's has a few different restaurants so looking forward to trying those. Prime is definitely on the more up-scale side, great for a date night, a special event, or just a really good meal. The location and seating is nice and chairs are comfortable. The waitstaff were pleasant except the girl with the ponytail who every chance she had she would bump into me. No acknowledgement no apology. The food was a disappointment. It was heavily salted and barely edible. My partner's steak was a very thin rib eye; even Texas Roadhouse waits for you to cut the meat to make sure it's to your liking . The water tased muddy, but my initial glass was fine. Walking in at 615 on a Thursday night I expected a steakhouse to be busy. I was the second table there. The food, ambiance, service and overall experience was very lackluster. My favorite steakhouse, del friscos, is located both in the prudential center and right on the water in the seaport. Both are better bang for your buck - my filet mignon here was $63, which came out rare despite my request of medium. Del friscos never messes up, and their filet is 51$. For an overall better experience, I cannot recommend del friscos enough. Save your money, avoid this establishment. read more

Came to celebrate my bday and I appreciated the attention to detail in remembering. For starters we had the crab cake which was good and the bacon which was the star of the night! Super delicious . For entrees we had the short rib rigatoni which was ok needed more salt as it was a little bland and the Cowboy bone in ribeye which was cooked perfect at medium well but lacked some flavor. Wife and I wanted to try this place for a while and decided to last night. We didn't make a reservation as we figured it was early enough and didn't need to. The host / manager was polite and worked to get us to get a table which we really enjoyed and appreciated. Seated near the bar which was a bit loud, but it was Saturday. So who cares? Our server was attentive (the woman serving water never let our water glasses go empty which was nice). Wife ordered a glass of white wine, I ordered a NA beer and was asked "with a glass?" And I said yes. Drinks came back and said NA beer was not accompanied with requested glass. When brought to the server's attention she acknowledged the oversight but then noted "I'm sorry. When you said you wanted it, I wasn't listening..." huh? Ordered a Cesar salad to split - it was fine, was a bit on the small side. But then again, we split it. Was not asked about the anchovies. No harm, no foul. Dinner: each ordered fillets with sides of lobster mac, mushrooms with caramelized onions. Dinner was served and what I like, and almost need, is for the moment I cut into my steak, is to be asked "is your steak prepared as you requested?" It's weird quirk but at an expensive place, I have come to expect it (maybe I'm spoiled from going to other places at a similar price point. See: Capital Grill, Del Frisco's, Mooo, etc.) What really irked me was when the sides were served, we were given roasted potatoes. We did not order roasted potatoes. We let the server know and she quickly worked to resolve the issue and brought over the mushrooms and caramelized onions. Overall, dinner was pretty good. Good cut of meat, decent sides. Dessert was pretty good, got the peanut butter torte. When the bill came we were still charged for the potatoes we were given. This annoys me. Yes, it was only $10 but again, higher price point deserves higher service. I did not bring it to the server's attention but it just felt wrong. Overall, a solid 3-3.5 stars. I don't think I'll hustle back. If I'm going to spend what I did, will go to Capital Grill or try Eddie V's. read more

I was disappointed with this restaurant I had higher expectations giving the pricing of this place. We had dinner reservations at 7pm and was there till about 11pm because of how long the food took to come out. My whole entire meal needed more flavor it was bland and boring each dish I had which was the scallops with Mac and cheese and sautéed spinach. Lots of salt and pepper was needed for me to even eat this meal. My husband got steak and he said it was just simple nothing than what we make ourselves at home. Some people in our party enjoyed their dishes while many others where disappointed. I wouldn't go back personally, but I believe the owner came out and did apologize for the long wait and even gave my mom for her bday a nice bottle of wine I believe to make up for the issues. So to me that showed he cared and valued his business a lot. He deserved credit for that. read more

No clue how I haven't been here before. That said I was missing out. I know this, i will be visiting this fine establishment a lot more. Beautiful building, well lit parking lot and door to door service if you're a gentleman. The decor is outstanding, gorgeous bar, friendly host and I assume manager at the front reception desk, I believe his name was Joe. He was super friendly and they got us seated right away. The bar was very big with lots of seats and lots of TV's. The food was fantastic, I went for the Bone in Rib eye which was less than what you would pay in town, my friends had the bolgonese, a giant meatball and tuna tartar. Oh and we started off with a dozen duxbury oysters, which were the best duxbury's i have ever had. I eat a lot of oysters..... I eat a lot of everything actually. The drinks were big, cold and delicious, we had 5 martini's, not sure but it may have been a 10 ounce glass, it appeared bigger than the 7.5 but I haven't owned a bar in forever. Our server was CJ I believe and he was attentive but not overbearing and we sat near a window, it was a bit cool for the smallest person in our group, so I simply changed seats with her. I wasn't cold at all, but the half moon booths looked fantastic and I will be requesting one of those. I believe there was a fireplace on one side of the room as well. I will post a photo of my delicious, perfectly cooked steak as well. Oh and I had augrautin potato and mushrooms that were amazing, a nice taste of garlic on them, best i've ever had. From when we walked in the host or maybe even he was the one of the managers - he greeted us soo nice and checked on us- he was great. Cool guy. And the bar tenders were nice and checked on us enough. But my review is on the food. Now I'm glad and shocked that the portions were larger than expected for a $$$ restaurant. Started with the calamari, which was tasty was like an Asian fusion taste. For entrees we did the pork chops , lobster Mac and shrimp scampi. Again, was not expecting these big portions, I was shocked and ready to dig in. The pork chops came in two big thick chops with roasted potatoes and peppers and drenched in sauce. It was almost like a stew. It was good for the first few bites than it was just too much with the over powerful sauce. I would have to drain all the sauce the enjoy the pork chops. Now the lobster Mac was delicious pretty good size for one person. The shrimp scampi my bf got was good on eyes, big portion and had jumbo shrimp in it. First bite was delicious, VERY rich sauce- but again he said after a few bites the sauce got too much for him. We will try this place again tho for other things on the menu. read more

My two daughters and I went here last night and the place was empty; 7pm on a Tuesday night. The hostess was nice and the waiter was attentive but the food was sub par for the price, and the place was dirty. My daughters did not have an appetizer but I had a caesar salad which was pretty good. One of my daughters had mac and cheese for dinner and it was nothing more than rigatoni with shredded cheese melted on it, myself and my other daughter both had filet mignon and we shared the roasted potatoes. Both filets were cooked as ordered, medium rare, but they were dry and tasted like nothing. The potato side dish was a good portion, plenty to share but unfortunately it was the best item we ordered. A Groupon led us here on a Saturday evening around 6 PM. We sat in the bar area as opposed to the main dining area. It was busy but not full. Our waiter came over fairly quickly, pleasant and on the quiet side. Ask for our drink order which we opted for just water and we ordered the Edamame Dumpling appetizer The app came in a decent amount of time. Seven dumplings over fresh greens served with a soy dipping sauce which was light and not too salty. Only downside is the dumplings are fried vs. steamed but they were good. For entrees the hubby ordered the mixed grill (steak tips, sausage and chicken), sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Me, the southwestern salad with grilled shrimp. The entrees arrived about 10-15 minutes after finishing our appetizer. The grill was served without a steak knife and the hubby said the steak tips were tender but the bite I had was mediocre, not tough but definitely not my definition of tender. The sweet potato fries were crispy but not very hot, which is the way I prefer them. The shrimp on the southwestern salad was very tasty and cooked perfectly. I would have preferred the greens to be cut in smaller pieces and I forgot to ask for the dressing on the side as I prefer my dressings on the lighter side. A bit much for my taste but not too overwhelming. Total including tip $59. Not bad but also not a destination I would go out of the way to visit. read more

My boyfriend and i went last Friday for Valentine's Day, we met Phil - he checked on us several times to make sure we were having a good time. He made it extra special for us. Our waiter was amazing as well, I forgot his name but he was very attentive. I had a 8oz steak and it was amazing! My boyfriend got the Valentine's Day special - a 8oz steak and two lobster tails . The mashed potatoes were one of my favorite sides, they were delicious as well as the Mach and cheese and asparagus. I got a strawberry fizz that was delicious. They also gave me a rose at the end. My husband chose this $$$ restaurant for my 35th birthday celebration. He needed to make early reservations because we had to make a concert in Beverly for 8. At 5:45 our waiter was not yet ready to put on his server hat. He couldn't read his hand writing and stumbled all over explaining the specials menu. We should never have mentioned it was our first time because he then proceeded to go through the entire menu and pick out 3-4 favorites to fawn over....FROM EACH SECTION!! Apps, salads, steaks, and prepared entrees. Yikes!! Did we mention we had to leave by 7:15?? I was also a little bummed that there were only 3 Chardonnay offerings for wine by the glass. Our meal seemed like it would be yummy at first. I got the filet mignon with a steak sauce, roasted mushrooms and a side of Mac and cheese. Hubby got the salmon with the risotto of the day and the brussel sprouts with root veg. I enjoyed my medium steak, but the Mac and cheese was kind of blah, and roasted mushrooms weren't anything to write home about. My hubby's sides were delish, and he enjoyed the salmon!! But at the end of the night, we both got sick to our stomachs. The ambience and air of class was nice about Teresa's, but the prime factor in the food was certainly missing. I went to Teresa's Prime for the first time last night. My wife wanted to take me out for my birthday and I had wanted to try Teresa's, so we made reservations for 6:30. We arrived right at 6:30 and we were promptly attended to and seated. Our server Edison was excellent! He was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, cocktail, and wine lists. We started with two cocktails. My wife got the Chocolate Raspberry Martini. It was creamy and perfectly balanced. I got the Strawberry Basil Mule. It was delightful. It was a great mix of the strawberry purée and basil with ginger beer and vodka. For an appetizer, we got the Tuna Tartar. Both my wife and I agreed it was one of the best tuna dishes we've had. The balance of all the ingredients was spot on! For our main courses, my wife got the Shrimp Scampi and I got the Surf and Turf. The Surf and Turf was an 8oz filet and two jumbo stuffed shrimp served with mashed and grilled Asparagus. Both dishes were delicious and prepared and cooked perfectly. The shrimp were huge and both the shrimp and my filet were cooked perfectly! I also wanted to try the Parmesan truffle risotto that I was on the fence about getting. Thankfully Edison talked me into getting it because it was awesome!! We ended dinner with a cannoli and an espresso. The cannoli cream was amazing silky and delicious.
