We have ordered takeout a few times now from Suppa's (now under new managment) and things have been very good. Last night we tried the Chicken tika marsala calzone and it was the BOMB! So so good! It came with 2 extra tiki sauces on the side and it had a good anount of chicken and cheese ratio. Prices are fair and delivery is quick and the staff very nice. Glad they are doing well. read more

The food here is amazing! You can tell they really care about the quality and flavor of what they serve! I got their falafels and they are hands down the best falafels I've ever had! Anytime I ever get falafels they are plain and dry and these ones were moist and came with a delicious sauce. I also got their chicken tika pizza and I love the playful combo of chicken tika with cheese. The crust was crispy and not over doughy. I also never order wraps from a pizza place but the shawarma wraps had such great depth of flavor and the pickle in them was a nice touch! I will be adding this restaurant to my dinner rotation for sure! The atmosphere is so inviting and clean and you can see the staff and owner pour their hearts into this place! read more

My family and I have been to this place before, the pizza was just as we ordered it. The only thing we did not like about it is that they did not have coffee, we were surprised. But recently we Stopped by to check out the new owners. The new owners have done some renovation, but still no coffee, hopefully they will introduce it to the menu soon. read more

Friendly customer service! I got the "Grilled Chicken bomb to go and it was lacking in everything. It was just dry meat on a sub roll w very very very minimal vegetables(pepper,onion and mushroom)almost non existent. They charge 11.99 and I'm still trying to figure out for what..just disappointed and unfortunately..I won't be back! I gave the one star for the friendliness with the phone order. read more

I have been ordering the same gluten free pizza here for years! Hadn't been here since I heard it had new owner. The pizza crust had raw dough (mind you I asked for well done crispy) which it was not! I put in oven to finish cooking /heating it up. Took 3 bites and got sick. Investing the box and there was black pizza residue on the bottom of the pizza and granules in the box. Clearly they made the gluten free pizza in the regular oven surface. Did this plane change ownership? Totally unorganized. I tried calling and the phone wasn't being answered. I went too the restaurant to order and was ready to walk out because nobody was at the counter...and I rang a bell twice that said to ring bell if nobody is at the counter....I heard the bell out back and it still didn't get anyone to the counter. I asked for my pizza cooked light and they obviously had no idea what the difference between cook light and half cooked was, pizza was cookwd slightly more than raw. All new faces and it shows! Call in service is great...delivery time is good.... but any hot subs are delivered stone cold. Not luke warm....COLD. Will also mention a small cheeseburger sub is all veg and bun first bite or two...not like when originally opened. A year ago I moved to the general area of Suppa's Pizza, at first I called in for a small extra cheese, i'm gonna say the guy who answered the phone was very pleasant and courteous, I said to myself I hope your food is as good as Their manners. How true that turned out to be. I liked the pizza it was not at all greasy, the price was fair, the service was quick. Next time I ordered pizza and some fries the portion of fries was way more than I can handle, again it was not oily or greasy. I've been in the general area now for a little bit over a year. Ordered two steak subs via phone last week, with a side of steak fries and a side of fried mushrooms. The bill was a bit more than I expected, but isn't everything these days? The young man who took the order took the time to break the bill down for me despite clearly being busy (you could hear the bustle in the background). He was courteous and helpful and at no point did I feel like I was imposing on his time. The delivery driver was likewise personable, courteous and kind. The delivery time was accurately provided, which is very appreciated. While I recognize that there can be unforeseen delays, it's nice to be told "about a half hour" or whatever and have it actually be "about a half hour". My husband is disabled, so takes a bit to get to the door - having an accurate delivery time will be very helpful for him when I'm not here to answer the door. Now on to the food: The steak is truly excellent. Given the cost of meat these days, to find a shop that still has quality shaved steak is a rarity! No gristle, not fatty, and it was VERY flavorful. The medium subs were FULL - truly filled - rather than just "mostly" filled with steak. I ordered the Greek, and my only "negative" comment is that I could wish the dressing and feta were along the edge of the sub rather than the bottom so every bite had the delicious flavor. But really - that's super minor and I mention here more as constructive criticism than as any kind of problem. Because there was SO much meat, I will actually have to downsize to the small next time. The sub was well worth the money! My husband ordered his own version - just steak, extra American cheese, with onions and peppers. He's not sure there was extra cheese on it, but being allergic to American cheese, I couldn't really taste to see. I do suggest that there should be a base price for "traditional" steak and cheese rather than each topping being an "add-on". ("Traditional" being steak, cheese, peppers/onions/mushrooms or any combo thereof.) However, again, the roll was FULL and my husband said he was VERY glad he hadn't ordered a large - he'd never have finished it. The fried mushrooms were tasty - fairly standard version of the dish. The fries were actually steak fries, which is also hard to find these days. Most places do "crispy" fries, which I really dislike, so it's nice to find a place that provides a variety of types for a variety of tastes! I highly recommend Suppa's for anyone who loves shaved steak subs! I can't wait to try their other offerings! read more

Third visit since opening, first impression, bad. Figured they had to work out the kinks, but tried again underwhelming, figured I'd chalk it up to just another business gonna fail in that location. But today tied for conveniencexi was passing, topped it off for me, this is definitely the most skimpy sub I've ever received, if our wasn't take out, and me heading back to work, I'd have had words over this. Too many sub shops in town to think you're gonna make it on this. Shame, it's the closest to my house, and I work in town, so I could have been a regular. I live 1/4 mile from Suppa's in Salem NH. Like most joints like this. Started off Great and had all my families business on days of the week we chose to order out. Sad to say yesterday may be the last. Hated their online order Web page. Hate the fact that they push for TIP before you get your food and service. I have to ask when did tips stop being the choice of the customer based on food, quality, service and overall experience and instead become a Surge-Charge passed on to the customers because an employee decides to show up for work that day. We made hamburgers on the grill at home and decided to order three orders of fries, (Reg, Steak and cheese fries) $21 for three orders of fries before the expected TIP. Cheese fries were disgusting!! Reminded me of something they peddle in a movie theater. Canned cheese on soggy Fries. GROSS! Took 20 minutes from online order and then waiting there before order was ready. It typically takes 4-6 minutes to cook fries. Well, I'm from old school and believe TIPS are based on service and quality. Also want to say cost of dine- in or takeout food has skyrocketed. I agree there are reasons for that beyond everyone's control. However, a tip or size of the tips should be based 100% on the overall experience. If you don't leave a TIP or leave a low tip then the business owner should take a hard look at how to improve the food, quality and dining experience for the customer. My "last" experience at Suppa's was a fail on all levels. I say focus on food and quality and stop panhandling for TIPS in advance! read more

When they opened this shop, I would order all the time and the quality was good. The last year or so, the quality just falls short. You can tell a lot of the food/ingredients they use has not changed since day one, but the quality control has, big time. You can't send out a $16.00 cheese pizza with bubble burns on half of it. You can't send out undercooked fries (yes, I know the difference between undercooked and cooked, but got soggy on delivery). With prices the way they are now, you cannot afford to send out food that is subpar. No complaining here about prices. Higher than some, but nothing overwhelming in this day and age. Not ALL is bad though. They still shine on a lot of items and their service has always been great. Just get someone to quality check before sending out the door or have someone realize the pizza looks awful and should be remade. I'll take a break for a little bit and hope they can bounce back. read more

Suppa's used to be pretty good. However, the last few times we've ordered from them, it's been disappointing. We liked their "well done" option, but the last three orders are never actually well done. Even after I took the time to call and specifically ask them to. There's no shortage of pizza joints in Salem. They'll need to try a lot harder to stand out amongst the competition. read more

Easily the worst pizza I've ever eaten. Have you ever heated up leftover pizza that's two days old and noticed how the toppings and cheese are dried out? That's how my pizza from Suppa's was, just bad. To top it off the minuscule amount of sauce underneath the rubbery cheese was probably the worst - cheapest tasting pizza sauce ever. Let me begin by saying the staff is great, very accommodating. Have been here many times, food always great - until today. I stopped and ordered 2 chicken parmesan subs. I was a bit surprised at the price ($26) but everything today is more expensive, so no big deal. When I took the order home and unwrapped the sandwiches we were very disappointed, the chicken was overcooked and burnt. My wife ate half of hers and I ate half of mine. The rest went in the trash. I am pretty easy to please, but these sandwiches were a huge disappointment. It will be a while before I go back. read more

Wife and I ordered a fat steak sandwich, a spicy sampler and a cordon bleu panini. The steak was almost inedible. Grissly with a very weird after taste, and the fries used in sandwich were borderline uncooked. My wife's "panini" was nothing more than a chicken finger sub toasted w a cold slice of ham on it. Pretty small for 10 bucks. The inferno sampler waa a greasy box of sub par frozen fingers,wings etc. Much of it was soggy and soaked thru with grease. Ive had the pizza and it was nothing to write home about. It all had a funny aftertaste to it....Wife was complaining of stomach cramps after dinner, and its now 3am and Im writing this, sick as a dog with cramps as well from the porcelain throne.
