So I wanted to try something different and a little less felonious and while my host was out at work, I walked over to Kinsley House of Pizza. I went to order a tuna sub but they were out of tuna. No big deal, that's not unheard of in the restaurant industry, and I get it. But I also don't eat meat or poultry, and I didn't want to order an entire pizza to myself, so what to do? This is where the gentleman waiting on me went into what I like to call "helpful salesperson mode". And I know what you're thinking--am I buying a car or just trying to order food? No, I'm definitely not buying a car. I want to be clear on that. No cars were harmed during the writing of this post. Not even if it was a car made out of pizza and breadsticks, though that is a pretty cool idea and I think it needs to happen. So anyway, wasn't purchasing a car, and back to the "helpful salesperson" comment--the gentleman behind the counter mentioned that they had "fake chicken" and I could get a fake chicken sub if I wanted. Well I never had a chicken sub let alone one made from fake chicken, so I decided to try that. That was not a good idea, that was a GREAT idea! Absolute banger of a sub, and I can't wait until I'm back in town so I can try the pizza next. ...but a car made out of pizza is also not off the table. Because life is short, and it's important to have goals, especially if they involve pizza.

I've seen yelling matches go on behind the scenes between owner and employees. I walked into this place very recently and they had a couple of new hires up front. The owner was uncomfortably close to this new girl that doesn't look any older than 17.. I overheard him talking into her ear about how he's going to send her places and turn her into a model. Then shifting to help her check a customer out at the register he continues to make personal space nonexistent. Getting so close behind her their bodies almost touching. Watching this young girl get even more uncomfortable doesn't make eye contact with anyone trying to scooch away from him as he steps closer closing the gap between them checking that person out. This was so uncomfortable to watch and I can't imagine how the girl felt herself. I hope she finds a new job and has a trusted adult in her life. I hope someone checks on the other women working here aswell because they always seem miserable or like they've been crying all day. (it's majority a woman work space behind the counter.) The work environment is not a safe one. I hope more people see this review. Please don't let your daughters work here. We need to protect women and children now more than ever.

Though Family's may not have the best pizza in town (that would be Brother's Pizza), they make up for it with their burgers, which steal the show here. It comes with a huge, juicy, 6 oz burger loaded with condiments and veggies like lettuce, pickles, tomato, cheese, onions, mayo, mustard and ketchup, all in a toasted sesame seed bun.
