Sneaking suspicion this place is racist and colorist. People of color beware. Walked in and the "hostess" was a prissy little itch. She rolled her eyes and had an attitude because we didn't have a reservation... at 10pm. They must have stared at our ID's for like 10 minutes looking for a reason to refuse service but couldn't find a problem. When they finally finish checking our ID's they continue to stand in the way, whispering to each other in very weird ways. Then they told us they didn't have anything available to serve us.... What?! I had to just read the racism for what it was, but I'm not surprised considering there's a Trump Store down the street on the same road. They didn't even try to disguise their disdain. It was a shame too, my very publicly known best friend was with me and all they did was reassure us that we should always stay away from places like these. And please don't try to say they're Spanish, I'm Dominican and it was very clear they were looking for any reason to refuse service. The place is the size of a shoe box, it's got like two "sections" or tables for service and a short little bar, maybe two little Walmart side tables in the middle of the room. It really wasn't a loss to not be invited into such a dump. UPDATE:: As you can see by their reply they did the typical racist gaslighting. Now I'm "ill mannered" because I called them out on their biased treatment of patrons. They also attacked me on social media and tried to make disparaging statements about me, had their staff harass my page. I'm not sure who runs this business but it's very evident that people of color are an issue for them. You'd think they would try to have a conversation and correct the problem but instead they chose to antagonize and deflect which is very on brand for discriminatory businesses. I was hesitant to bring my complaints because I'm always shy to call someone bigoted. However, after reading other negative reviews I felt I also had to share my experience with this establishment. Over the summer I attempted to frequent this lounge, it was very early in the evening, if I remember correctly around 8pm. I called twice to confirm reservations because my group was going to pre-game before the nights event. They confirmed the reservations no problem and we're extremely pleasant over the phone. The in person interaction was quite different. They gave one of the members of our party a hard time about their out of state ID. We had to talk them off a ledge, but we thought it was okay, maybe they were just vigilant. Then it begin to all roll downhill. The hostess was extremely rude to us and vehemently denied that we had reservations, except she sounded exactly like the person I spoke to on the phone. They argued the reservations didn't exist and refused us service although it looked like there were only 3-4 Patrons in the room. They couldn't give us a straight forward reason, just stated they were completely booked and had nothing available for us. Yet a group of unshaded individuals walked in behind us and were greeted kindly & seated. We were told it was because they knew the owners because we very clearly heard them say they didn't have a reservation. It reeked of bigotry, gaslighting and most of all racism. Nothing changed except that they saw a group of POC once we arrived. We were left with a very bitter taste in our mouths from our experience. I would not recommend this to my friends and family as I would never step foot in this place again. The business seems to argue with someone on the comments below, just know they are NOT lying.
