The specials posted outside this joint was what drew me into this place. I had been craving a good breakfast for sometime now and they had a French Toast breakfast special for 4.99. I thought it was going to be a puny plate but was so wrong (photo attached). This was your normal diner size plate you'd get from a gourmet breakfast diner. It was plentiful and delicious and was exactly what my tummy was craving. They also had pretty decent service. The waitress was so attentive and made sure we were doing well ever so often. A great neighborhood restaurant - large portions, very good prices and friendly service! This is similar to Paul's Place but I like it a lot better. They serve breakfast all day and have tons of items to choose from - always a good deal. The omelets are big and it's a great place for breakfast foods. They also serve Mexican food, kabobs, have lots of different sandwiches/burgers and have dinner items. My favorite item to order is the broasted chicken dinner. It's half a chicken (four pieces) with either baked/mashed potato, salad and soup...also comes with a roll and onion rings and it's $6.49. =) It's a lot of food that you can share between two people. The chicken is delicious and juicy...I love their mashed potatoes and gravy here as well. When the wallet is low on cash, you can pretty much guarantee that Harry's will fill you up for a small amount of money. Its rare that I get to eat breakfast in a sit down (or not driving) manner, so when I had a day off and was in search of a quick, inexpensive breakfast, I decided to try Harry's. Got 3 eggs sunny side up, bacon, home fries and rye toast. At $4.30, it was a great deal and really hit the spot. Quick and good. Try it. read more

Harry's is one of those diners that seems to carry every type of food they possibly can. It has everything you could possibly want from a diner. Cheap prices, tasty food, clean seating area, and a friendly staff. It's simple yet satisfying, and service is very speedy. Out of the extensive menu, I went for a bacon avocado cheeseburger combo. The burger by itself goes for under $5. Deal! The people who work there are very nice. The second time I went, they recognized me and greeted me with enthusiasm. "You came here with your boyfriend, right?" It's the little things. The burger was also good...no frills or any exciting flavors of course, but sometimes you just want to have something simple. The burger combos are really decent! Great priced and quantity. If you like omelets they have thee best spinach and feta cheese omelet! Don't forget the salsa! On the next note the dinner side of the menu is pretty great they give you alot of food for the price you pay and your not even paying that much. I really like the Greek style chicken dinner located in the kebob section even though it's not a kebob haha.. The Greek salad they serve with it is AMAZING!! The chicken was a little better than the average and its not all dried out. I absolutely love this place. The portions are HUGE and the price isn't too bad. My favorite is breakfast. The only downside is the place is usually packed so you have to make sure to get there early or around lunch if you want breakfast. It is your standard greasy spoon offering: Omelettes, pancakes, hashbrowns, home fries, ridiculously priced (as in cheap) Steak, 3 eggs, hashbrowns & toast for only $5.99. the have great burgers, and dinner plates. read more

Reminds me of when I was a high school kid and I would walk to Harry's just to order a plate of onion rings. Things have changed though and my taste buds have higher standards now! This Harry's is located on the corner of Beach and Chapman so it's in the same plaza as the Home Depot and KFC. It seems pretty clean in here, but the booth chairs are all ripped up... What we got: Carne Asada Burrito ($5) Added Fries & Drink ($3): the burrito was pretty big. I just had a bite though, but it kept falling apart because it wasn't wrapped tight enough...they have different hot sauces and salsas so just ask them! There was a lot of beans in it and the meat was pretty moist. Food came out fast too! Onion Rings ($3): it's not as good as I remembered it from back then. They still give you a lot and I could never finish it by myself. They are still crunchy and will break apart when you bite into it so you won't have just breading left in your hands. Ask for ranch to dip it with! Service: I thought it was friendly. Walked in and was greeted right away. Go up to the counter and the guys were friendly and told us to take our time. Order your food, take your number, grab a table, and wait for your food to arrive. The liked the lady that brought us our food. First time coming here and was excited to try this place, unfortunately excitement turned to disguised when the cook decided to make my burger without using gloves and washing hands. There was also standing water on the floor with no wet floor signs, barriers, or any warnings whatsoever. This was a clear slip-and-fall hazard in a busy restaurant. I calmly brought it to the attention of the manager on duty, Julie, and pointed out how dangerous it was--especially for guests using wheelchairs or with mobility needs, this was particularly concerning. Instead of addressing the problem, she dismissed it as "not a big deal," refused to complete any incident report, gave me a negative attitude with a mean facial expression, and then called security on me as if I was the problem. When the young security guard arrived, he asked for my ID. I politely refused and explained the situation calmly--he looked surprised but not defensive. I have photos documenting the ceiling leak, standing water, and lack of signage. This experience was disappointing and unsafe, especially from a hotel restaurant attached to a family theme park. Management should prioritize fixing hazards and training staff to handle legitimate guest concerns professionally rather than escalating them. I hope Knott's / Six Flags investigates and improves. This was my first time coming to this restaurant.

My waitress Kayla, was special, sweet and memorable. While taking my order, she doodled a heart and that peaked my curiosity. Waitresses sometimes write little notes of appreciation but this is the first time I got a heart on my ticket. I asked if she does that with all her customers and she said no. She said she doomed it because I was special! I don't hear that much so I ended up speechless! I thanked her and gave her a cash tip. Lots of Asian eats and a few varieties of La Street Tacos, Italian and Columbian eats. Very warm location. Family orientated. You can feel it when walking around inside. Kids and their parents having a good time. Restrooms is clean and service is friendly. This place also has a bar you can chill and relax. Such mixture and variety of people. I recommend this place. Plenty of eats and sittings for a get together. Plenty of parking but can be crowded at peak times. Good luck on parking. Places similar to Rodeo 39 from experience is LBX in Long Beach, NORTHGATE in Costa Mesa. I recommend to visit and eat! :)

Once he found out it was our first time there and that they were close to closing, he went above and beyond and accommodated us with not one, but TWO chicken sandwiches on the house for us to try. That level of kindness and hospitality honestly made our night. We ended up getting an amazing combo with shrimp, chicken, macaroni salad, two Spam musubi, two chicken sandwiches, and two drinks -- all for only $22!!! Such a great value for the amount and quality of food we received. Danny's energy alone made us want to come back. The pad Thai was delicious and I'm usually very picky with my pad Thais. The noodles were super soft and it had a solid tangy flavor to them. We arrived at 4:30pm when they just opened but they seemed to get the dishes out super fast. The service was super nice and attentive as well. I wouldn't say they're big portions or small portions, just enough. I ordered several dishes. I ordered the Ong choi, the chicken Pad See, but ended up getting a beef Pad See instead. A garlic pork dish which was tough and dry and a panang beef curry. The Ong Choi was tasty with what looked like peanuts or maybe beans as toppings. The Pad Su was a touch on the sweet side, but the curry on the panang beef is something I would put on top of white rice to add extra oomph. The service was quick and besides a little mistake in the ordering (no biggie) everything was fine. I do like the new decorations, but there is a weird smell as you enter the restaurant like a leaking gas line. Sit near the rear and you won't smell it at all.

We actually had a good view at the cook that was preparing our order. I hardly see my food being prepared, felt weird but intimate. They serve you a good amount. Not to much not too little, just right. The quality of food is superb. Great presentation! The food itself is delicious. I recommend this place to eat filipino food. My wife also enjoyed the meal as well! Portion size was good for the price with over 2 and a half cups of rice per serving from my estimate and ample meat for each dish as well. We definitely will come back and try some other dishes like pork sisig etc. They also have a section for food that's already prepared, though we didn't partake in those. Overall 4.5, only negative was the order from Grubhub was not ready as quoted.
