Heard about this place online & surprised it was about 5 mins from my house, I pass by it everyday on the way to work. Located in front of the Home Depot, this shop has DELICIOUS breakfast burritos. they are very big & filling. On the left, it was the OG Breakfast Burrito with Portuguese Sausage & on the right it is the Spicy OG Burrito with Spicy Italian sausage. I ordered it for pickup and right when I came at pickup time, the burrito was ready! I think ordering at the shop would be faster but don't quote me on it! Will definitely have to try again soon because I know I'll be craving these burritos in the future!
Wow this burrito was something special! I was having a serious craving for a breakfast burrito and LJ's delivered. They're located in a shack outside Home Depot. Lots of parking available. I ordered online since I heard the wait could be long and was quoted 20 minutes on a weekday morning. The OG breakfast burrito was massive! Yes, at $16, the price is quite steep. But I only ate half in the morning and have the rest for leftovers. Loved the crunch of the tator tots and the gooey cheese. It contained a good ratio of eggs and sausage as well. I tried the cilantro crema sauce and it tasted fresh and creamy. Will definitely be back next time!
I've heard about this breakfast burrito for years. I finally decided to treat myself, and it was worth every bite! Located in front of Home Depot with a few tables in case you wanna eat there. Best breakfast burrito I've had in a long time. And the service was top notch. All staff is so incredibly friendly. My kinda establishment! The OG burrito is stuffed, and I mean stuffed with tater tots, Portuguese sausage, bacon, cheese, egg, LJ's sauce (mayo-based sauce) and it's insanely delicious. All the flavors and textures blend so well together. The veggie burrito, which I got without bell peppers, added bacon was also really good. Never thought of adding grilled onions in a breakfast burrito, and now it's gonna be the only way to breakfast burrito, SO good! There's a variety of salsas to choose from, the mild red salsa is very fresh and flavorful. The cilantro creama is creamy and delicious. These burritos are huge, y'all. It probably weighs 3 lbs each, so definitely come hungry. They also have a lunch menu with hot dogs and burgers, served after 11:30am. I'm definitely a fan of LJs and will be back for sure.

The setup is pretty low-key since it's more of a kiosk in front of Home Depot, but honestly it doesn't take away from the experience at all. The vibe is still chill, and the food speaks for itself. Service is pretty standard you order, pay, and they call your name when it's ready. It can get busy since the place is really popular, so I'd recommend going early if you want to make sure you get the burrito. Last time I went, the hours were around 7 AM to 1 PM, but that could've changed. Overall, a must-try spot if you're in the area especially for the OG burrito.
This is such an interesting find on Yelp! I definitely went to this Home Depot a couple of times not knowing that there was a breakfast burrito place right in front of it. We got the Spicy OG burrito and the LJ's Sammy. They both come with your choice of sauce. Unlike other places, they did not skimp out on sauce and it definitely lasted until the last bite of burrito. The LJ's Sammy was a decent breakfast sandwich. The LJ's sauce was definitely the star of the show. I wish the sandwich was a bit bigger though. The burrito on the other hand was well made with perfectly crispy tots inside. The sausage was also flavorful and tender. Paired well with the mild salsa. The burrito was about $16 and Sammy was $12. It's a little bit on the more expensive side for burritos. Overall, it is still a good breakfast place to try when you're around the area!
Visited on a Saturday. Parking was easy, cashier was nice. Got an order to-go and had to wait a bit for it to come out. The burrito was delicious!
Stopped by this spot next to Home Depot called LJ's Lil Cafe! The place is pretty small but super easy to find inside the Home Depot parking lot. I got The OG Breakfast Burrito and it was delicious and filling. I got the creamy cilantro as the sauce and it definitely enhanced the flavors. Highly recommend!
On a whim, I found this little Cafe. It took me a couple passes through the parking lot to realize it's located in front of the Home Depot (HD) exit. Truly a great spot. I came for a breakfast burrito and it didn't disappoint. At a higher price point than I expected, it was very satisfying, filling, flavorful and enough for 2 meals. I was also told it would be about 10 minutes to prepare and it was ready within that time frame. Since it's in the Home Depot parking lot, parking is plenty. There were several others, like myself, who were just coming for food without stepping inside HD. They are only open until 2pm. I am usually not in the area til later in the afternoon, but I am keeping this place on my radar to return to when my schedule allows earlier in the day.
I remembered seeing this café on one of my IG reels and so when I was heading out of Home Depot, I had to order a breakfast burrito Got the spicy OG burrito with the medium spicy salsa Verde Brought it home and divided into two meals it is huge. Excellent ratios and just a well-balanced burrito probably one of my favorites on the list now. You can call ahead and they will take your order but I waited about 30 minutes before I got my order. No seats inside it's just a little food truck and a bunch of seats outdoors so you can take it to go. I really enjoyed this place.
This place is a hidden gem at the Home Depot in Cypress. I had the OG Burrito. First off, the thing is huge! My partner and I shared and I couldn't even finish my half- it was packed with tots, gooey cheese, egg, bacon, and sausage. The tots inside were super crispy, which shows how fresh these burritos are. We also had the Queso Tots, with the queso on the side. This place is not stingy! They gave us a great portion and the quality of the tots was top tier. They are so crispy I could hear a crunch on every single one! The queso dip is delicious, it is very creamy but also has some chunks of pepper in there which gives an amazing flavor. The salsas we tried were the Habanero and the Medium Green Chile Salsa. The green chile was good, but nothing too special. The Habanero is a must have!! It does have a kick to it, which is perfect if you love spice. The flavor doesn't overpower the burrito, but definitely enhances the whole experience. The worker who took our order at the window was very kind and helpful (it was my first time) and I can just tell that the staff prioritizes customer service. 10/10 experience!!

Good thing we ordered ahead and they made that burrito quick; it was ready by the time we got there. My friend and I can finally say this is the best breakfast burrito spot we've had. In the words of one of my friends who responded to my story, "this place fuxxx." We both had the Spicy OG Breakfast Burrito with the green sauce. I wish it came with more than one green sauce because extra sauce was 50 cents more and I'm a saucy gal. If you think it's enough sauce, double it and give it to the next person (aka me). The burrito was so good - I could maybe do without sauce but that would be crazy and the closest psych ward is 10 miles away. However, the crispy tator tots, melted cheese, and spicy Italian sausage paired so well together that I might go off my meds and just have this instead. This one burrito served 3 meals for us so I can't complain.

There are two windows--one for ordering and one for picking up your food. They have a few tables outside, but if those are taken, then you'll have to take it to-go or stand next to some lumber or pots while you eat. I ordered online around 8:45, but it was a bit confusing because the system tells you it will only be a 30 minute wait, but the estimated pick up time they provided was an hour and a half later. Wasn't sure when I should arrive, so I went in between those times. Thankfully it was ready a little before the estimated arrival time. I overheard some other people talking saying that if you order in person at the window, the wait can sometimes be 2+ hours! That's a pretty long time to wait, but I will say that their burritos are good! We got the OG Breakfast Burrito that has eggs, tater tots, Portuguese Hawaiian sausage, bacon, mixed cheese, LJ's sauce, and a side of salsa. You can choose red or green salsa. We also got a Veggie Breakfast Burrito with 3 eggs, tater tots, grilled bell peppers, onions, grilled tomatoes, mixed cheese, LJ's sauce, and salsa. I also added crispy bacon. Both were flavorful, delicious, and had a nice variety of textures. They also have some other sauces like Hot Habanero Salsa and Creamy Cilantro Crema, so I'll definitely have to try those out next time. Overall, great breakfast burritos, but order with caution if you're on a time crunch.

I yearn for these burritos. Ive heard about this place on TikTok and wanted to see the hype. I am a big breakfast burrito enthusiast and this place reached my expectations. I absolutely loved the burritos. It was cheesy and crunchy and just amazing, total flavor bomb in the mouth. The crispy tater tots were such a nice texture change to the soft eggs. These burritos paired with their cilantro crema was absolute HEAVEN! The freshness of the crema cut through the greasiness of the burrito and it was perfect! Service was quick and fast and it is a small little place outside the Home Depot. I would absolutely go again!! read more
This place had great Yelp reviews so I had to try it. Didn't realize it's located in the Home Depot shopping plaza, but that just means it's probably delish cause it's a small business owner. We found the breakfast burrito good, but not enough sausage. Maybe like 3 pieces. I got the spicy OG breakfast burrito and shared it. It was super, super messy. So make sure you ask for napkins. There's not much seating, just a few benches you can share with others. Parking is plentiful since it's a Home Depot shopping plaza in Cypress. read more
Was told about this place by a friend and had high expectations based on the pics and boy did it deliver. Runny egg burritos are where its at and the crunchy tots help to add texture. The chorizo burrito doesn't taste like chorizo at all FYI, so you may be disappointed if you're looking for that flavor. I kept seeing videos of LJs all over social media so I decided to do my own investigation. Conclusion: it's worth the hype! I could say this is one of the best burritos I've ever had. I love my tots crispy/crunchy inside the burrito for texture, and I didn't have to ask for it. It's how it comes! It took about 6-8 mins for my order to process after ordering. I ordered the spicy OG, and it was so tasty! Along with the crispy tots, the cheese was gooey, and there was delicious sausage in every bite. You can order different sauces on the side for 75 cents each, you do get one for free with each order. The sauce cups are 2 oz cups and I found buying an extra sauce suffices for the entire burrito (I'm a saucy girl). Yes, the spicy og was about 18$, but it was HUGE. Although the burrito and the sauce got was definitely spicy, the flavors were still all there while the spice just slowly crept up. I loved this original location and will soon do another investigation to the orange location to see how it compares since that location is closer to me. read more

Located outside the doors of Home Depot, this is a cool breakfast spot. There's a couple picnic tables out front but it's more of a to go style walk up. The get very busy in the weekends, at peak times they quoted is 1-2 hour waits for burritos! We went very early on the weekend and enjoyed a quick 15 min wait time. We ordered the OG burrito and LJ Sammy. OG burrito has delicious tator tots inside. The burrito was huge. So filling. The Sammy was "ok" you should get this if you can't handle a huge burrito. Highly recommend trying it and they do catering too! read more
Huge and delicious breakfast burritos!! I'd recommend to order online since I heard the wait can be long in person. This place is located in a Home Depot parking lot, so there's ample parking available. They do have a few tables outside their space to eat, but it's more of a grab and go, or eat in your car type of place. We ordered two OG breakfast burritos, but we definitely could've shared one. This was one of the best breakfast burritos I've had!! The tots are a nice touch and crunch, and they don't skimp on the eggs like some other places. I'd recommend to get their LJ's signature sauce on the side, and it comes with an extra salsa or sauce, and I chose the creamy cilantro crema. Yes the wait times are long, but the food is fire. Legit the best breakfast burrito south east of Downtown imo. Ive had the OG and the Queso. Cant really go wrong with any of the options unless you are not a fan of Portuguese or Italian sausage. Pro-Tip: order online through their website, the wait times vary depending on day and time. My husband and I were craving breakfast burritos and my husband was reading really good reviews about LJ's, so we decided to drive down and give it a try. LJ's is literally right in front of a Home Depot with a couple of tables outside. We ended up eating inside the car because it was raining today. My husband ordered 2 OG Burritos, which in hindsight we should have just ordered one and shared because these burritos were HUGE!!! I added a photo of the burrito sitting on my center console for reference. It took about 15 minutes for our order, but that was because we got there at a good time. Right after my husband ordered, 5 more people came up to order. When my husband got back to the car with our order, he told me to hold the bag and it was HEAVY! We took out the breakfast burritos, and as I said earlier, they were MASSIVE! We opened them, and they were cut in half. They had a nice cheese pull, and I love a good cheesy breakfast burrito! They provide one sauce per burrito, and charge 50 cents for each additional sauce. Honestly, I love a lot of sauce on my breakfast burritos, but I felt like one of these sauce cups was sufficient. My husband got me LJ's sauce and creamy cilantro crema, and medium green Serrano salsa for himself. I loved that everything was well mixed in the burrito so that when you took a bite, you got some of everything. I liked all three sauces (I tried some of hubby's), but my favorite was LJ's sauce. We both only finished half of our burrito, and saved the rest for later. It tasted so good, we will definitely be coming back to try other burritos! read more

Saw this place on Facebook and decided to try it since it's close by. Been here twice now and both times were great. The Spicy OG Burrito was sooo good and packed with flavor. Service was friendly too. It's a bit on the pricier side, not gonna lie, but the food made up for it. Came back a second time and got the hot dogs. The amount of toppings was crazy lol. I was craving a hot dog that day and it absolutely satisfied my craving. Definitely coming back again! read more
I've heard good things about the breakfast burritos at LJ's. Once I arrived, I was surprised to find out it was right outside a Home Depot. I shared an OG Burrito and a Chorizo Burrito with a friend, and it was very tasty and filling. I feel sharing one burrito could even be enough. My favorite was the OG Burrito. I got the LJ sauce on the side, which kept the tater tots and bacon inside very crispy. So each bite was crispy. For the Chorizon Burrito, the caramelized onions inside gave it a sweeter flavor. I was there around noon on a Saturday, and there was a short line that went by fast. Because of this, there is a 15-20 minute wait. The place also has outdoor seating with benches for dining. Overall, I would say the place lives up to the hype! read more

BREAKFAST BURRITOS THIS WAY! My nephew told me about this spot and a few of us came by Sunday morning. The menu is straight forward and the staff will recommend what to order depending on what you're craving. I ordered the OG Burrito with a side sauce of LJ's and cream-a. As the burrito comes cut in half, you can immediately see the amount of food inside the breakfast burrito. The tater tots have a crunch in every bite along with the well-balanced of the proteins and eggs. The side sauce complimented the breakfast burrito. If your group gets a variety of sauces, you'll get to enjoy a little bit of everything. This location closes at 2/2:30, so make sure to get your breakfast/lunch before they close. 10/10 -- Highly Recommend! LJ's Lil Cafe absolutely delivered. We ordered three different burritos, the OG, Spicy OG, and Chorizo Breakfast Burrito and every single one was a 10/10! The habanero sauce and LJ's sauce were my personal favorites, but honestly, it's hard to choose because all of the sauces are so good. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. If I had to pick just one burrito, it would be the Spicy OG. We made one modification and swapped the Italian sausage for Portuguese sausage, and it was incredible. Packed with flavor and definitely worth ordering. Great food, great service, and a spot we'll definitely be coming back to. Highly recommend! read more
The best breakfast burrito hands down. I've been wanting to try this place for months after seeing it on instagram. We got the spicy og burrito and the og burrito with 3 types of sauces on the side. Both of the burritos were so good. I've had so many different breakfast burritos before but this was the best one. They put in tater tots inside which gives it the crunch. The flavors were remarkable and the taste after every bite was pure deliciousness. We went to the one in Cypress where it's outside of a Home Depot. We waited for about 30 minutes when we went and the line was pretty long. I was kind of shocked it took so long but the breakfast burrito is worth the wait!! read more

The hype is correct - the LJ burrito is a banger. They also have great bangers. Hehe. I'm a Midwest kid so by default a sucker for a Chicago dog. My overly critical critique is that the relish is extra and not unnecessary, they should kill it. And my real critique is that you can't go butter pickle, gotta be the real kosher dill. This is my 2nd time getting this dog and I don't remember a butter pickle on my last visit. It's not too buttery luckily but still not true to elite Chicago composition. The OG burrito is definitely the big hit, and I'd want to see what the spicy ones about as well. The chorizo didn't do it for me as much, but to be fair that's a mean thing, chorizo in a burrito never does. hands down the best breakfast burrito in the socal area!from the crunch of the hash browns to the fluffy scrambled eggs and the savory sausage, i love all the flavors and textures in this. the cream sauce on the side adds a light & tangy touch that balances everything out. i would say the burritos are prettyyy big (for me at least) because i could only finish one half and saved the other half for later. my boyfriend go the spicy og burrito, and he said he didn't notice too much of a spice difference. they also have plenty of salsa options that can add more spice if you're looking for that! i will say this place tends to get busy, so be aware of the time you're going at. i tried to go the day before and there was a 30 minute wait. i came back the next day but called our order in, and it was ready within 15 minutes. either way, the burritos are delish and definitely worth the wait haha. i'm definitely coming back for those burritos and i'm looking forward to trying the smash burger too! read more
The BEST breakfast burrito I have ever had. I usually don't like breakfast burritos because they are filled with a lot of egg and potatoes with no texture or flavor which makes for a big mushy thing that is filling, but not very tasty. The salsas they usually give are mild and flavorless as well. Well... the breakfast burritos at L J's are completely on another level. My spicy og burrito was crunchy because of the tater tots, and had the perfect ratio of egg to tater tots to spicy Italian sausage. It was also sprinkled with fresh jalapeño that were grilled. The habanero salsa was spicy and flavorful and added a nice kick to the burrito that was also packed with flavor even without the salsa. Husband had the regular og burrito with creamy cilantro salsa that he really enjoyed. That was crunchy and flavorful as well. These burritos are HUGE. They come cut in half. One burrito is plenty to share. FYI. It is attached to Home Depot and is at the front of the store. There are a few limited tables outside. The servers at the window at very accommodating. We ordered online which said our order would be ready in 1.5 - 2 hours. But we got there right after we ordered, went to the pick up window and asked if they could have it ready earlier and they accommodated. I was very impressed with their service. We live about 40 minutes away from LJ's, but husband and I agreed these burritos are worth the drive and the wait. read more
What a filling and amazing breakfast burrito! Get the cilantro sauce! Top 3 burrito for sure but you won't be able to finish it all. Sorry LJ's. Long time customer, first time reviewer. This review is for both the LJ's Sammy and OG Burrito. Pricier than most but larger than the average breakfast burritos. **** WARNING**** Long wait times, so order ahead. Located outside the Home Depot in Cypress, make sure you plan ahead and make 1 trip. Order first and shop at Home Depot. You can order online but weekends are busy. Average wait time 45 minutes- 1 hour. Long wait, but definitely worth the try. Enjoy! read more
Stumbled on this cafe on a random Home Depot run. It's located right up front and noticed there were quite a few people lined up. Checked it out and tried their og burrito with cilantro cream salsa. They had other options too but that's what they recommended for someone who doesn't like spicy. It came with tater tots, hawaiian portuguese sausage, cheese, egg, & LJ's sauce. I loved all the different crunchy, soft, and creamy texture inside. The cheese pull was appetizing as well. Glad they cut the burrito in half for you as I was only able to eat a half. Portions were massive! Prices are kinda steep ($16/burrito) but it does fill you up. read more

I came here after seeing their breakfast burritos pop up on Instagram a few times, and since the Cypress location wasn't too far from me, I figured it was worth checking out. The setup is pretty unique -- the shop operates out of a small mobile-trailer-style building right outside a Home Depot. There are a couple of tables outside for people waiting on their orders, and when I arrived in the late morning, it seemed fairly busy. Luckily, I had placed an online order about 30 minutes beforehand, so I didn't have to wait in line. Service was simple but pleasant. When I went up to the window to pick up my order, the worker was friendly and offered extra sauce for my burrito, which I appreciated. The pickup process was smooth, and my food was ready right on time. I ordered the Spicy OG Breakfast Burrito, and overall it was really good. The flavors were solid, and it definitely hit the spot. The burrito had a nice balance of ingredients, nothing too greasy, and it tasted fresh. That said, I'm not completely sure it justified the $15.99 price tag ($17.23 after tax). It was a satisfying meal, but maybe just a bit on the expensive side for what it is. Still, I'm glad I tried it. It's a fun little spot with good food, and I can see the appeal. Can't even count how many times I've been here but it's been a great love for a few years now. The OG burrito is my go-to always -- the portuguese sausage and crispy tater tots make it the best breakfast burrito in OC! Quality is the highest and the burritos are HEFTY! It's perfect for sharing. This location is a shack outside Home Depot. There's limited outdoor seating, but for the most part, it's to-go only. Service is always the best. I believe they still take orders over the phone, but I always opt for ordering online. read more
