Here & there is on my top 5 favorite coffee spots. Goldfish is a new seafood spot, tried it out yesterday & I loved it. Got a scallop taco & the scallop ceviche. Just be prepared for their hot sauce, felt like I put lip plumper on lol! Some spots moved completely & others were just relocated around the store. Came specifically to try this place and got the kimchi butter chicken & shrimp plate. The chicken was crispy but a little dry. The shrimp was the best part - super flavorful and rather large too. The mac salad was very different than your normal mac salad. It was a little bland but also has mashed potato texture with it. I really enjoy coming to Rodeo 39 but unfortunately the horrible parking situation prevents me from coming as much as I want to. I used to live in the condos behind this plaza back when it was an abandoned dilapidated plaza. I would have loved being able to walk here from my condo! Over the years my favorite places in Rodeo 39 have left such as Steel Pan, Bearded Tang, and the ice cream shop. Luckily the new vendors are equally as good. OG vendor Shootz is still hanging in there so that's good. I really love the new crepe place. My other go to places are the Japanese curry place and the onigiri shop. The new coffee shop has a great vibe too. I find it fun to randomly pick a place and stroll around. There's just too many things crammed into this plaza with nowhere near enough parking. read more

actually discovered Rodeo 39 Public Market by accident while following directions to a Hawaiian restaurant inside, and I'm so glad I did. It seems fairly new with some spaces still being built out, but the market already felt lively and full of community. There are tons of great food options, and I loved the shared bar, stage area, and the open garage doors with patio seating out front. It's a bit out of the way for me, but I'd definitely go out of my way to come back. Great spot for small or large groups. read more

Amazing here! My hubby and I didn't come to GG for over 6 years. We found this beautiful contemporary mall in GG by accident. How come did they change here?? Big big surprise!!! Looks like LBX hangar. They have craft beer brewery, vietnamese pho, crepe store, tendori, tattoo store, toy machine store, ramen, pasta restaurant, curry, and seafood restaurant. So many varieties of special restaurants. OMG!!! Omg! Love here to hang out all day. First, we tried beer brewery, CRAFT CAPO. 5 stars!!! Ambiance, vibes, live DJ music.... Stanton has a good thing going on at Rodeo 39. Food: I honestly don't know what to say or how to describe the food options. They have so many different options of food that I couldn't sample a quarter of the restaurants. I did go to Phoholic which was satisfying and surprisingly filling. PhoHolic: portions are large and the flavors are great, Banh Exo Boys: the deep fried mozzarella corn dog was crazy big and not too bad with the flavor. Capo Craft Bar: love this bar. It's located in the center of the food marketplace and they have live music every Friday and Saturday. It's a really cool vibe and plenty of seating space. The beers are tasty and the also have a full bar of spirits. Atmosphere: Rodeo 39 has a great vibe, it's friendly and full of fun and interesting things to do and try. They also have tattoo parlors, shops, restaurants, a bar, inside and outside seating, the art work on the walls are unique and gives it a artsy vibe. I loved it. Prices: Prices are obviously specific to each restaurant however, the places I tried were average for the food served and the drinks poured. It's great place to go for a couple hours. Service: The staff service is also specific to eaxh restaurant. I will say no matter what restaurant I walked into the staff was nice, patient, helpful, and seemed to enjoy being there. Can't be mad at that. Everybody seems to have to same goal of being helpful even if you don't but anything. Location: It's in Orange County CA in a city called Stanton. 1st time discovering this place and I really like it. It's a food hall that has several good spots to eat for those who like different things. My husband tried the oxtail pho at Phoholic and it was amazing. We came right before 11 and the line was already out the door. I also tried another place called Shootz.. Their spicy butter Korean Katzu and Spam musubi was so good. They even offer samples if you've never tried. Can't wait to come back on our next trip to try other restaurants. Rodeo39 in 2025 is still a great food hall to to go but has been updated with plenty of new tenants since its original opening back in 2020. Most of the original tenants inside have left/closed and of the original ones left, Shootz, Oi, Primal Cuts, & Skin Design Tattoos are the only ones remaining. Most of the new tenants like Crepes Avenue, Karai Hand Roll Bar, Blue Bowl, & Kra-Prow are good replacements from the original spots but I've noticed that it isn't as crowded as it used to be during the weekdays. On weekends, Rodeo 39 is still fairly busy but not as it was during the first couple of years. There's still plenty of seating available to eat and drink at. The bar that was in the middle has been transformed into an open event space where they host trivia night or DJs every week. The brewery now serves cocktail drinks in place of the cocktail bar. The re are still one or two currently unoccupied empty spaces with one of them being Banh Xeo Boys in the corner tucked next to Shootz which I assume has not been taken yet due to high rent cost. Overall, this is still a great food hall to stop by and eat and dine at. There's plenty of options to check out and it's a good spot for kids and families. Service is still also welcoming and friendly and I haven't encountered any issues over the past few years. read more

It's an upscale food hall. tried Shootz which had an interesting menu item - Kimchi Butter Katsu. It was delicious. My hubby had ramen & he said he it was flavorful. Unreal. I have never seen a public market outside of Asia feature so many different types of foods and boutiques (there's even a tattoo parlor!). There is free parking, it is super clean, and the vibes are trendy. I think there is something for everyone here (they have a bar! And an arcade!), which is great because my kids are somewhat picky and do not have overlapping tastes. Our favorites have been Tenori for simply and tasty onigiri, the Crawfish Hut for a seafood boil, and Shootz for Hawaiian fare. There used to be a cookie shop here called Sweet G's that was a must-go every time we visited the OC. Amazing soft gooey cookies with exactly the flavor profile I love (red velvet, ube, pandan, etc). The only Asian fusion food court worth visiting in the OC. I got to try the Spam Brulee Musubi from Shootz and the Bahn Xeo from Bahn Xeo Boys three years ago. I was sad to discover recently that Bahn Xeo Boys closed for good. Both were packed with flavor. Fast service under 15 minutes, lots of seating, and free parking. There were so many fusion places and desserts I wanted to try, but I was so full I couldn't finish all that night. Family-friendly with a few Korean shops and worth taking Instagram pics. Is there a problem at Rodeo 39 Public Market? There are individual kiosks that I still visit regularly; but other tenants that I used to patronize are gone. At one time, if a space was vacated, another tenant would move in. In recent months, however, I notice a growing number of spaces that just sit empty. (At least, at shopping centers, they put up modesty screens.) I spoke to people who work in the market. I asked (per their observation) if specific food concepts failed, or if foot traffic (overall) is slowing. In their opinion, traffic has been slowing. If you are a guest, there are still reasons to go visit Rodeo 39 Public Market. If you are property management / ownership -- you need promote and help your tenants. read more

Rodeo 39 is a food court located in Stanton, which is in between garden grove and Buena Park. When it first opened, I loved coming here for Laotian BBQ and Banh Xeo. Unfortunately my favorite places have moved on, but they still got steaks, a brewery, an arcade with some decent throwback games, and phoholic, a Michelin recommended pho spot. I went to Rodeo 39 when it was first open! It was so full of restaurants. I got a great bahn xeo, donuts, cookies, Asian inspired ice cream, and more. But when I went this time, it was empty. The bahn xeo place, ice cream, and donut place close down. There's still some great places to eat, but most of the store closed down. There's a sushi place that we tried and it was good. The service is still amazing. The bar in the back is still open. The ambiance is good. There's still good places to eat, but less places open. When I went during dinner time, there's some people hanging out and eating. Still support this place, maybe more restaurants will come back. read more
