Why travel all the way to South Korea when you can get a taste of Seoul here?! This mall is perfect if you like Korean food, Korean clothes, Korean food, Korean snacks, Korean bbq, Korean make up, Korean music, Korean dessert, Korean bakery FREE parking Plenty of parking Worth a visit if you happen to be in the area There's a lot of vacant shops! That's the only big bummer.. This place is an outdoor mall so plan accordingly... bring a thin jacket if you come at night!

Love the free parking garage directly connected to the mall structure......And I appreciate the general cleanliness and the robust amount of security staff present. But I didn't understand why there are so many small eateries and food courts and not many other varieties of shops. I saw some glasses store, insurance type place, and clothing shops but none that appealed to me. There were also some beauty spas and other knickknack stores. However, is it worth it just to get some bites and to browse around? Perhaps not. The service wasn't exactly the friendliest and the stores irrelevant to perhaps my age group. I am unsure what the target demographics for this mall is besides the fact that everything is Korean......otherwise I just felt very out of place, and a bit spooked out by how not busy the mall was. I wouldn't mind returning still just to get some Yozm donuts but otherwise can't seem to think of a good excuse just to return.

Cinema and shops

Wish I had more time to explore this community/shopping center! There's a preschool on one end, a cinema on the other, with several retail stores, coffee, tea and boba shops, a food court, and a variety of additional food venues in between. Ample parking, plus some elevators and escalators for old people like me. The restrooms were sparse, though. The one near the restaurant we dined at was closed. Walked to the opposite end of the center, where a single family restroom had a short line; but with no movement for the longest time. The lady who was first in line checked several times, and as I was fourth, I eventually gave up. Of note, someone likened this center to a K-town "Ala Moana Shopping Center". To be fair, it is not nearly as large, but it is open air with several stories. The sales of collectibles of everything k-pop and more, the asian food and tea shops, and the grand reopening of Seoul Stop, which expanded it's Korean beauty and food space, were the highlights of my first visit to The Source. Definitely check out any specials/sales, as collectibles and k-beauty items can be moderate to high in price. (We got great deals and free sample bags at the grand reopening, for example.) Personally, I can't wait to come back on my next trip to check out the rest of the stores!

Been here a handful of times and it's a fun & great place to hangout for great & delish foods, snacks, just walking around, movie, shopping or be here for the sunset. Plenty and easy access for parking since they have a 3/4 levels of parking structure that attach directly to the mall. This is more of KPop mall so you on certain days and weekend, you might encounter w/ KPOP moments (music & dance). Great place for all type & kind of foods here, from high end to fast food to foods hall or stands, coffee & desserts places, either way plenty to choose. They do have AYCE, to set to a la carte, to just street foods. There is a movie theater here and shops so plenty of selection to fit to your liking of that day. Services overall are great from the mall staff to the individual shop/restaurant staff - all are friendly and nice.

Three levels of retail and dining therapy in Buena Park, Orange County, California... I've been to The Source in the past (to see Brown, a large figurine of the main characterof Line Friends), but I didn't explore the upper levels of this complex... it's a bit overwhelming! There seems to be a focus on Korean cuisine, K-Pop culture, clothing, and accessories at this shopping/dining complex. Restrooms are available on each floor. The elevator was useful. One of the escalators wasn't working. The parking structure is free! Get your fix here without needing a passport for Korea!

Free adjacent parking structure. The structure has Tesla Superchargers. Fun place to eat, shop, and hang out. There's also a movie theater. Restrooms can be hard to find.

I often come here with friends to check out the shopping mall and try different food. We decided to hang around the photobooth area and have lunch at the second-floor food court. We all tried different places and got kimbap and tteokbokki. The Source has plenty of different shops if you are interested in kpop, beauty, and food!

REVIEW FOR 2nd FLOOR FOOD COURT It was a little weird at first cause it's like a mall food court with different spots to choose from but you can only order at one register. You then go back to the spot you ordered food from and wait for your number to be called. I ordered the chicken and beef teriyaki bowl and it was sooo good you can TASTE the freshness. My sister got chicken katsu that was stuffed with cheese and we both loved it. The pricing is also pretty good, not too pricy. And I love that you actually get to eat with real plates and silverware. It kinda gives kdrama school food court vibes lol there's also self serve water dispensers. BE ADVISED you can't bring in food from outside of the food court. Only food bought INSIDE can be eaten in the food court.

Been wanting to check out this place each time we're heading to Knott's. It's super close to Knott's off Beach Blvd. Love that it's free parking, plenty of restaurants to eat at, there's a movie theater, and a few small shops. There are several levels to check out. Plenty of parking available in the structure. Really cool place to bring family and friends to.

The layout and aesthetics are a bit dated; but it is clean and well maintained. The two key anchors were Walmart and Sears; Walmart remains, but Sears is defunct. On the exterior facing La Palma, there are some big-name merchandisers: Burlington, Ross, DSW, T*J*Maxx. Inside, there is a cohort of determined smaller merchants--but there's a lot of un-leased retail space, too. There's a very nice Kirkorian movie theater. There are more than a few restaurants and food shops that get shout-outs on social media. I think you go to this shopping center if one of the tenants is your destination. Unfortunately, this mall is not a destination in itself.

There weren't too many people and shops to begin with. It felt drab and dreary, not bustling and lively. I was also disappointed with the selection. They only had cheap stores like Ross and TJ Maxx, so the shopping experience felt cheap. Don't get me wrong, I do love cheap shopping as well, but the vibe of the mall just felt unsophisticated. What was interesting though was they did have an arcade that featured bigger rides which seemed nice. They also have a big parking lot with lots of spaces. Overall, I would probably not come to this mall again unless I was doing something nearby to pass the time such as getting auto repairs or looking for cheap shopping in the area.

However... with a single story comes a TON of walking. Be prepared for that! There's a lot of your standard mall stuff here, so it's not worth mentioning about the department stores, but the mall portion is a fine experience. There are lots of clothing stores and dessert places, and there's a movie theater and some nice restaurants, but I will say there's NOT much to do as a fun activity for families with small kids. Older kids will have some things to do like VR or build-a-bear, but smaller kids will not. Food court is fine, there's some good options and I actually like that it's next to the entrance/exit of the mall so you don't have to be "stuck" in a second story hidden area forcing you to walk by stores while getting out of the mall. Standard mall food court options like Sbarro, it's really just a place to hang out. Again, nothing special, but super clean and open space brings this to an average 3/5 for me.

Review 41/365 Day Challenge…read more My local mall has definitely gotten a fresh new look. There are so many stores, eatery shops and cool vibes here now. Hey tea shop just opened up on 02.13.26 and CHAGEE Tea Shoo opened right before the Holidays 2025. When they did a face lift remodeling of Brea mall with demolishing Sears Department store and adding the new wing with the outdoor area. It definitely gave an updated modern atmosphere to the mall. the new Wing of Brea Mall. New Alo & Uniqlo Store is really big and a lot of selections. Associate are nice and informative when asking for a particular item i was looking for. Store is organized and nicely well set up. Color coordination. They sell work out clothes and it is on the higher end price. But quality looks very durable. Definitely has a lot of foot traffic. A lot of my friends are excited about this shop coming to our local mall. So glad to see My fav department store Nordstrom's is still here. Holiday time, Santa & Bunny photos available during their season. Food court has decent food such as Blaze, Lollicup, Ghengis Khan, Jamba Juice, Cinnabon & lots more. During the holidays, Nordstrom department has valet parking available. There is a Starbucks Kiosk in the center of the mall in front of the Elevator. Disneyland Parking Hack at Anaheim GardenWalk (April 2026 update)…read more I saw this info on Instagram and decided to try it myself at the end of April 2026. Sharing both the update and my actual experience. From what I saw online, starting April 1, 2026, parking at Anaheim GardenWalk increased from $18 to $20 for the discounted daily rate, and the process is now different. You no longer need to upload receipts by text. Just buy something at Starbucks, Paris Baguette, or Meet Fresh. At checkout, you need to ask for the "$20 rate" voucher since they won't offer it automatically. They will give you a paper voucher to scan when exiting. Regular parking is first hour free, then $4 per hour, with a $30 daily max. Still cheaper than Disneyland parking. My experience: Navigation: Anaheim GardenWalk 321 W Katella Ave, Anaheim The entrance is on W Katella Ave and goes straight into the indoor structure. The signage is a bit confusing. Elevators show B2 to 5, while parking levels are labeled P1 to P4. Just remember your P level and section. P1 is ground level and has parking plus Paris Baguette P2 and P3 are parking P4 has parking, Starbucks, and Meet Fresh. Google Maps labeling here is a bit misleading Parking tip. Try to park near the elevators since the payment machines are right there. I went on a weekday around 5pm and parked at P3 section B. I walked up to P4 and Starbucks was right around the corner. No mobile order available at that time, card only, and they close at 6:30pm. After ordering, I asked for the parking voucher. Staff did not offer it unless I asked. Walking to Downtown Disney: Fastest route is toward Disney Way, then connect to S Harbor Blvd. If you are not sure, you can navigate to Foundation Room Anaheim. After going down the stairs you will be on Disney Way. It took about 12 minutes to reach security. On the way back, I tried walking from Din Tai Fung toward W Katella and then S Harbor. It added about 30 extra minutes. Going back the same way is definitely faster. Parking payment result: Before leaving, I scanned my ticket and it showed $12. First hour free, then $4 per hour. Then I scanned the $20 Starbucks voucher and the machine showed I could exit with no payment. I even asked staff to confirm and they said if it lets you exit, you are fine. I ended up leaving without paying. That said, the system didn't seem very stable. I saw a few cars getting stuck at the gate. I probably just got lucky this time. I wouldn't expect free parking every time. Safer to assume around $20 per day with validation. If it ends up cheaper, just treat it as a bonus. Either way, it is still cheaper than Disneyland parking, so I would use this option again.

The restaurants are fairly expensive (it's near Disneyland), and the parking is not free (only a few stores are able to validate parking). The vibe is lively and hip - pretty lights and upbeat music line the walkways. Lots of young folks, young families (after or before Disneyland), and couples. Overall, lots of potential for development, but for now, it only makes sense if you're looking to have a meal at one of their anchor restaurants or drinks at one of their larger bar/brewery establishments.
