Whether you want breakfast or lunch or dinner at any time of day, Harry's Cafe will accommodate you. The milkshakes are out of this world, I recommend getting cookies& cream, as I slurped it down in minutes, it was the best milkshake I ever had! Moreover, I love to support those who may have it all but still consider others. The owner of Harry's Cafe also gives back, out of his own time and money to those in the community who don't have a place to spend Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving Day, he prepared a huge full course dinner including drinks to those who didn't have a place to spend the holiday. All day, him and his volunteers wear aprons and serve his homemade Thanksgiving dinner to the public, Anyone and everyone is welcome. I was an attendee that wasn't included in any plans so I forced myself to get out of the house, socialize and eat. Thank you yo this generous owner, my past 2 Thanksgiving Dinners have been complete. Pay in cash. There's no sign posted that they charge a transaction fee. We have been going to this restaurant for almost 30 years now and today they charged us over $3.00 on a transaction fee. Their excuse was the bigger the order, the larger the transaction fee will be. Also, we was told "no" when we asked to have fries mushrooms instead of fried zucchini. Love this place. It opens early and closes at 9.30pm. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Helpful too. Had a cod from their seafood menu last night. I didn't want the carbs and they have me mixed veg. I was super grateful. Took it back to my hotel and enjoyed my dinner. The fish was still hot and crispy. The veg was still cool & crisp and the tomatoes were sweet. I came back this morning for their steak & eggs. Again I didn't want the toast and potato hash, they replaced with salad. This place has been my go-to for over a decade (probably two decades.) Everyone is very friendly and the food is beyond reasonably priced. You can get a whole breakfast platter of eggs, bacon, sausage potatoes, and toast, for under 15 bucks. You can even get a basic cheese omelette with a bunch of potatoes and toast for around 10 dollars. You're not going to find value like that anywhere else, even when reading this review 5 years from now after inflation has upped the prices by 50%. It will still be the best value for your money. I have always passed by these Harry's Cafes and thought they look like a restaurant out of Mayberry. My friend had liver and onions. The dinner comes with soup AND salad and a toasted hamburger bun. You also get fries or baked potato or mashed potatos with gravy. The amount of food was very good for what you get these days. I had a chili size. They give you a split toasted hamburger bun with a patty on each one. The beauty of the dish was they spread refried beans on the bun. I like a good chili size and I have never had one this creative. The chili was delicious and they asked if I wanted cheese and onions which of course I did. Usually I eat about half my food but honestly, I ate the whole thing except for maybe one bite. My friend liked all of the food and he took home the hamburger bun with a big hunk of liver for later. I had the cucumber Agua Fresca. As a treat, Yolanda came to my table and asked me if I wanted Chia seeds in my Aguas Fresca . Wasn't that nice and of course I did. The restaurant is clean inside. The staff are very attentive clearing plates, cause we sat there and gabbed a lot. There was a lot of to go traffic. Many delivery drivers picking up orders as well. We ordered water and they asked if we wanted ice and lemon, which was nice. I ordered rib eye steak and eggs with house potatoes and no veggies, sourdough toast. Hubby ordered French toast with no sugar, eggs and extra crispy bacon. Plus an avocado burger. Prices are reasonable $34.58 for everything and portions are decent. They even gave me a sample of their cucumber lime water which was good but too sweet for me to drink an entire cup.
