The potato tacos are the bomb for some reason. Best is to come here for Taco Tuesdays because they will be cheaper. Beer pitchers are also for a special price on Tuesdays. Friendly staff.

First of all, Esmi is AWESOME!!! We walk in and she always greets us with a smile and acknowledges us making us feel like appreciated customers. She always has great suggestions and honest answers. We come for the iced cold draft beer. The delicious tacos (i get salmon, hubby gets chorizo and the asada tacos) or I get the delicious mojo de ajo shrimp. We usually start out with some delicious chips ans salsa, watch TV or listen to music or just chill out, relax and not worry about cooking at home. Everyone here has been super kind and helpful. We are repeat customers for sure. If you're in the area, support this family owned business, you won't be disappointed.

The taco Gobernador ($5.50)was tasty and the shrimp perfectly cooked! I also got 2 carnitas tacos also delicious not dry I love that they give you some chile toreado and cebollitas to top them Definitely recommend will be back to try their other menu items loved the ambience with the Mexican music perfect for a family Sunday supporting a small local business

I love coming to this restaurant. Not only do they have a good happy hour menu, they have a special for every day. I loooove tortas and their carnitas torta does not disappoint! The staff here are nice and welcoming. Esmeralda is the queen of this place. She is not only an amazing server, but friend. Esmeralda always has a smile of her face and not shy to have a laugh. The restaurant is kept clean. They have booths and tables for your dining experience. I recommend this restaurant for your family.

Tacos Tuesdays are $2.25 per taco from this list of 9 to choose from

I love this place, we've eaten to go a few times now for Taco Tuesdays and is now one of my favorite places to go. With that said, there are inconsistencies since the last three times I've eaten here. Some better than other times, but none are less than 4 star worthy. So with that said, I thought I would start with the not so good. We've had: Chips and Salsa-The chips first time I've had it, it was great. The second time I've had it, it was thinner and saltier with certain fried pieces overlapping one another. Thus, it was difficult to chew. And the salsas, well they also differ. They're quite good, but the salsa will go bad almost immediately after a couple hours. And their crispy tacos are excellent,, but the last time it wasn''t fried enough. I also tried their fish taco, it's a little more and they use Tilapia but the grilled version wasn't for me. But with all of that, I'm a fan here on Tuesdays. $1.80 for any of the regular and fried tacos. (see pic)Their regular tacos comes with cilantro and onions and their carnitas and pastor tacos are our favorites here. Note: These are not your typicall dime sized street tacos, they are full blown size and 2-3 tacos will certainly be enough for you. Their carnitas tacos is so full of flavor and has charred edges so why wouldn't you love it? Their pastor tacos is so good here too, lots of marinated flavor. You would need to add the extra lime tot his to make the flavor pop a little more. Their crispy beef tacos as well as the potato tacos are our favorites here. Like I said earlier, the inconsistencies can happen. Not sure if it's the time of the day that I come here, but I like my fried tacos on the darker side. I do find perhaps the later you go, the better it is. Later, as in perhaps after 5pm. I'm a senior citizen now, that is really past my bed time, but I do say from my purchases I will come here as late as possible. I have yet to try their horchata or eat here inside the restaurant. They have TV and serve beer here as well. Definitely worthy dining in one of these days. Parking is a little hectic since it sits literally next to Home Depot but there's two dedicated spots for the restaurant out front.

Been coming here with my girl friends for years. They have some of the best tacos. I prefer the hard ones but the street tacos are tasty too. Cheap on taco Tuesday. Wash it down with a cheap beer and a basket of chips and salsa. I miss the salsa bar but with covid so many of the "help yourself" stuff has disappeared. Took a star off because of the giant cockroach walking across the floor. He was lonely so we weren't too turned off by it and we saw it after we were done eating. We will still come back but maybe dine out?

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to. The California/Avocado burrito was delicious! Service was astonishing and the waitresses were courteous. This is another place to come back again!

The place was busy as usually and we were told that wait would be around 15-20 minutes. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. I ordered Macallan 12 Yr. and to my surprise, the bartender served it on a brandy glass rather than on a whiskey glass. Bad start. In less than five minutes our table was ready, not where we asked, but on the patio. It was cold and we asked the server to shut off the ceiling fan on top of us. Never happened. We ordered our food and asked for the wine list. Oddly enough the beverage list did not have a wine list, we as the server again for a wine list, another server came and told us that we did not see the wine list on the beverage list. We told him there is not a wine list on the list. A third server brought another similar list with a wine list. We ordered a Joel Gott Cabernet. We got our food but not the wine. We waited and waited and no wine was served. We asked another server to find out about the wine. The original server brought one single glass of wine, and we reminded him that we had ordered a full bottle. Another ten minutes passed and still no wine. By then, we were almost done with our meals. My grandson got up and told the server to forget the wine. Five minutes later another server brought the same glass of wine and left on the table. I thought, well people make mistakes, the place was packed and they felt bad about our bad experience. We got the check and to my surprise they charged me $11 for the glass of wine I did not order. As a former business owner, I always welcomed customers' suggestions.

I've been coming here since it was originally named Alberto's...The outside seating has not changed. It's still the same round table bench with the red umbrella. Service is the same, they're pretty quick at getting your food prepped. Now I said that their carne asada has always been reliable, but my last two times I've ordered a carne asada burrito (sour cream and cheese only) or a CA burrito, IYKYK, their meat has tasted different. It taste like it's some carne asada and then like some other mystery meat, sometimes liver... Either way I stop eating it when I have tasted it being weird. Maybe it's the other meats they serve that get mixed in. I don't dig that. So for that I would rate them down to a 3 star. I'm rating their 3 rolled tacos as 4 stars! It's the best around. It has the crunch and enough meat inside. It's not all tortilla like some places. We always order it with sour cream and cheese only, with carrots on the side. I've tried adeltacos down the street and it doesn't compare. Get it here.

However, this is the 2nd time we've had a missing item from our takeout. We moved away, but grew up with Albertaco's and we LOVE IT. Carne asada fries, chicken quesadilla, cali burrito, their red salsa, chef's kiss. Last year May 2025, we drove and did takeout for our brothers birthday. We ordered 2 carne asada fries, and they only gave us 1 (our order was big). Yesterday, May 17,2026, I drove out here again for my brother's birthday request to do takeout for our entire family. Ordered 2 orders of their rolled tacos, finally got home to see that we only received 1 order of the rolled tacos, not 2 (we also ordered more things). Yes, you'd obviously like for everything that you paid for to be handed to you, but a lesson learned to check your bags!!! If something is missing, kindly let them know and receive everything you paid for. Not the end of the world, we love this place as this is one of our childhood comfort foods/go-to places.. we moved away and miss this place all the time, and to make our birthdays feel like home/childhood, we drive out here to show our loved one some extra love with Albertaco's BOMB food, but yeah, it's a bummer when you're missing things that you paid for & is shown on the receipt (will post receipt photo shortly).
