Walked in at 8:15 pm and right away I was told they were closed even though they say they are open til 9pm. I understand the time but I asked them if they can still do a bean and cheese burrito (for my child), but the vibe seemed like they didn't care about customers or business and hesitated to answer but just said Nevermind because we didn't want to be a burden to the business because seemed like they wanted to leave early. First of all, Esmi is AWESOME!!! We walk in and she always greets us with a smile and acknowledges us making us feel like appreciated customers. She always has great suggestions and honest answers. I love this place, we've eaten to go a few times now for Taco Tuesdays and is now one of my favorite places to go. With that said, there are inconsistencies since the last three times I've eaten here. Some better than other times, but none are less than 4 star worthy. So with that said, I thought I would start with the not so good. We've had: Chips and Salsa-The chips first time I've had it, it was great. The second time I've had it, it was thinner and saltier with certain fried pieces overlapping one another. Thus, it was difficult to chew. And the salsas, well they also differ. They're quite good, but the salsa will go bad almost immediately after a couple hours. And their crispy tacos are excellent,, but the last time it wasn''t fried enough. I also tried their fish taco, it's a little more and they use Tilapia but the grilled version wasn't for me. But with all of that, I'm a fan here on Tuesdays. $1.80 for any of the regular and fried tacos. (see pic)Their regular tacos comes with cilantro and onions and their carnitas and pastor tacos are our favorites here. Note: These are not your typicall dime sized street tacos, they are full blown size and 2-3 tacos will certainly be enough for you. Their carnitas tacos is so full of flavor and has charred edges so why wouldn't you love it? Their pastor tacos is so good here too, lots of marinated flavor. You would need to add the extra lime tot his to make the flavor pop a little more. Their crispy beef tacos as well as the potato tacos are our favorites here. Like I said earlier, the inconsistencies can happen. Not sure if it's the time of the day that I come here, but I like my fried tacos on the darker side. I do find perhaps the later you go, the better it is. Later, as in perhaps after 5pm. I'm a senior citizen now, that is really past my bed time, but I do say from my purchases I will come here as late as possible. I have yet to try their horchata or eat here inside the restaurant. They have TV and serve beer here as well. Definitely worthy dining in one of these days. Parking is a little hectic since it sits literally next to Home Depot but there's two dedicated spots for the restaurant out front. read more

So, I actually didn't eat here. There was a lady with Dementia who was lost right in front of this restaurant. And along with the assistance of another gentleman, the employees here helped this lost lady feel comfortable by offering her a place to sit and they gave her a taco and water while we waited for the cops to arrive. Never eating here again, the food was absolutely disgusting. I expected better especially paying almost 110 for salty crap. The micheladas look good from out but it's literally pure tomato juice with chamoy rimming, $10 for almost each one and for it to taste horrible??? The molcajete for $30 with literal chile asado for the inside and obviously frozen shrimp and dry ass chicken is crazy. Same with the menudo all salty and obviously being recooked multiple times. I ordered a torta del milanesa. Usually it's made with beef but this was made of chicken. I went back and asked if I would be able to receive a refund since I wouldn't be able to enjoy it. The employee told me I wasn't able to get a refund or an exchange since they already made the food. I tried eating it but I immediately stopped since the chicken was tasteless and the fries that came with the side were dry and soggy. They were not even appetizing to look at. They were dark and sad. The torta was the chicken cutlet, salad, beans and cheese. A waste of $15. Usually it comes with avocado at other restaurants and other places would accommodate with the customer for the simple miscommunication but these employees could care less. The chile verde burrito feeds 2 easily. It was filled to capacity with beans, rice & tender chunks of spicy chunks of tender pork. Albeit delicious, its the first chile verde that I've had that really packs some heat along with the flavour. The sope was not crunchy but it was still tasty. It was drowned in cojita cheese & crema...the carne asada was the only part that I really was wigging out about. The initial bite felt like it was ground beef. I might order this again but with a different protein choice. I'm on the fence about the chicken crispy tacos. The meat was flavourful & juicy.
