Very good experience. Came semi close to closing and the atmosphere was relaxing on a Saturday evening. The cage gave me a very anime cafe feel. I was here with my husband and we both really l iked it! We shared chili cheese fries and we each got meals. Will post pictures. Overall great spot to check out if in the area. Honestly was our backup spot but turned out so so good!

We love a good dinner! Service here is outstanding. My coffee mug was never empty. Cordial attention throughout. Food was good. Liked the chicken fried steak. The onion rings were crisp. Eggs Benedict were a little on the over done side for our liking.

Stopped in for my first time today for breakfast, and I would say the best part of the meal was the service, the food wasn't bad by any means, but it was far from memorable. It's located in a small shopping center with plenty of free parking right out front. They have indoor and outdoor seating options and as mentioned our server was extremely polite and attentive, and she really went above and beyond. All of our items came out pretty fast as well. Inside is fairly large, larger than it looks from the outside, so it can host many different sized groups. I tried to order the Cinnamon Roll because it is on the menu, but they did not have that available so I went with the Bread Pudding to start and felt it was OK, it wasn't like a traditional, southern bread pudding, it was more of a moist cake kind of style. It wasn't bad, but I would not recommend it. For my entrée, I chose the Chorizo Skillet and thought it was pretty nice, but it really lacked on the chorizo part. They could've added a lot more meat and less potato. Overall, it would be a nice option if you are in the area but it isn't my fav of the Westminster breakfast options.

I'm trying to write an update to our previous experience. I think the special thing about this place is the small mom/pop feel on this place. I found out Amber, who is one of our favorite servers has been here for 30+ years. It's no wonder why this place is always buzzing with return customers. I personally love their pancakes and I'm not a pancake type of girl, and their sausage! I need to know what type of sausage this is. Outright delicious! This is a redeeming post Uncle Pete. We appreciate you guys making it right for us to return. Thank you.

Consistently good service and good food - the hash browns are to die for. Grandson LOVED the chicken fried steak and I like the Popeye Omelet so we were both pleased to be here

Country fried steak and eggs

This place was nearly full by the time I ended by meal. Parking - Easy Ordered Country fried steak and eggs 4/5 Eggs were cooked perfect to a scramble. Toast was buttered perfectly. Gravy very flavorful and not your typical one that most places flock to. Had good texture. Home potatoes were mid. Steak was okay size, but the batter could use some work. Definitely needs more coating to it. Service - staff were attentive and genuine. Output time - Less than five minute upon ordering. Apparently no clam chowder on Sundays.

The butter and syrup couldn't save this from being the driest French Toast of all time

Find a different diner... The french toast tasted like plain bread and was dry as hell. The scrambled eggs were even drier. The orange juice was bitter and was poor in taste. They have to find better oranges. The huevos rancheros was okay, at best. Nothing to write home about, needed more flavor. The server was nice enough I suppose, albeit a bit clumsy spilling water all over the table. The ambiance was fine. Overall really disappointed with this breakfast. Even a subpar meal I can eat when I'm really hungry. I was starving and couldn't help but sit and stare at this bland food before getting out of there with plans to write this review and never return. The food also had the nerve to be $50 when it was all said and done. Avoid like the plague.

Looks like an average greasy spoon from the outside, but then you go inside and the place is warm, friendly, and clean. the service is so friendly and you know it is all the time by the many regulars eating and chatting up the servers. my food was well presented and tasted great. i will definitely be returning

Is the chili supposed to be vinegary? It's nice and thick and spicy and all, and has the perfect texture and thickness, but I've never tasted chili with a bit of a vinegar profile. Still delicious--just a bit different. :)

The steak and eggs use to be great especially the ribeye steak very tender and juicy, when the restaurant was owned by Tom, and when he sold it they changed some of the menu even how the steak was prepared it's very salty with a ton of pepper. I ask… Read more

THE BEST SALT BREAD…read more after living in Korea and Japan for a short time i've been addicted and looking for the best salt bread back in cali and i think i found it. idk how the coffee here even tastes but i do know their salt bread is to die for. just the right amount of fluffy, creamy, crispy, and salty. it's just perfect and you need to try it here too. Salt bread: Get if you want the bread and butter (pun intended) and classic deliciousness, this is it. Thought that was really weird and off-putting. The tables inside are really uncomfortably low so not the best place to study in my opinion. Also the AC was blasting so I was really cold, which is rare for me because I run really warm. Coffee wasn't that great to me, it tasted pretty smoky and I barely tasted the flavor in my tiramisu latte. What I would come back for are some of the pastries that I had! The ham and cheese croissant was fine, I probably wouldn't get it again. Also it was still cold in the inside even after they heated it up. For the salt breads, my favorite were the truffle, mentaiko, and bacon and scallion. I just wish there was more filling for the mentaiko and the bacon and scallion rolls. The egg sando one was a bit too creamy and heavy for me because the roll was already so buttery. I'd probably skip the creme brulee one for the same reason because it was sooo sweet and overwhelming. If I were to come back I'd probably just get one salt bread because it lowkey made me feel sick after eating it. I think it was just the sheer amount of butter in each roll but they are so yummy and addicting!

The location has plenty of parking and plenty of seating. There is an outdoor patio, and inside there is a first floor seating area, and a second floor seating area. The interior had high ceilings and modern practical decor. Staff will take your order at the cashier, but they also have a kiosk if you want to avoid human interaction. I was here for a few hours, so I started off with a hot beverage since I saw that they have mug service. I had the hot Churro Latte ($8.15/large) and I was warned it's a bit sweet so staff suggested that I get it less sweet. I appreciated the gesture but maybe that's why I didn't taste too much of the churro flavor. It tasted like a good regular latte but maybe they held back on the caramel and cinnamon to the point I couldn't detect it. Seating is first come first serve. It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.

Lots of seating and very loud when it's crowded. I wouldn't be able to study in here. Cashier was friendly and gave good recs. I'd say the prices are good for the portion and quality of drinks. What I ordered: -Matcha Pandan: I didn't want it too sweet and the cashier recommended to order as is and ask to adjust once I try it. It was definitely too sweet, I barely tasted the matcha. I requested for more of the matcha flavor and the worker kindly accommodated for me, which I appreciated. After the adjustment I still feel like it could've been more matcha-y but I didn't want to be difficult so I just took it. I think pandan is just not my thing. 3/5 (I will say I got the matcha einspanner another time and it was so much better so I definitely recommend that for those who like sweet drinks but still want the matcha flavor to be prominent. It was a 5/5 for me). Overall, I'd come back if I'm in the area again. Workers are very friendly and efficient and drinks are good, especially the matcha!

Okay, even though I did come to a coffee shop, I did end up getting a hojicha latte that was roasty, nutty, and delicious alongside the vanilla notes that they add. Great choice for some of you who don't do so well with caffeine. It's easy to drink, and thoughtfully prepared! I got something a little different. It was a strawberry co-ferment espresso in a cappuccino ratio. You could really taste that strawberry come through, and having it hot and with milk was a perfect choice. Fruity, complex, and funky! Love to see places serving co-ferments. I don't think it's over-played in specialty coffee, and I do appreciate having the option! Not many places offer this combination, so whenever I see it on a menu, I have to try it. What I really liked about this one is how well balanced it is. The earl grey is light enough that it doesn't overpower the matcha, so you can actually taste both flavors clearly without one taking over the other. The Hojicha Vanilla Cream Latte was also really good. The cream on top was silky, smooth, and rich, adding a nice layer of sweetness that paired well with the roasted, nutty flavor of the hojicha. It made the drink feel really comforting and well put together.
