We've both came across this place on yelp a few but times never actually came. Yesterday, we were in the area and decided why not. Firstly, they have a lot of parking. Inside is very minimal and clean. Service was good he was by himself so did take a little bit. But as soon as we got the drinks they had good flavor. If we're in the area again we'll come back.
Quaint coffee shop across from Forest Lawn mortuary. Very clean, minimalistic and welcoming. My wife and I needed a change of scenery to get some work done and we decided on Bancone. Staff were friendly and informative. We ordered brunch and drinks. The drinks are very good. My wife got a latte and I got the matcha latte. Both were very good. Only one size is offered. The food was surprisingly good. Good portions and fresh ingredients. For a small coffee shop the presentation was very delightful. We will be returning.
Clean modern cafe with a variety of iced and hot drinks along with food items. Place was packed to the brim with students on laptops. I wasn't the target age group but I still enjoyed myself. Service was friendly. I ordered a mushroom toast and an iced black sesame oat latte and grabbed the only seat left. Entire cafe was as quiet as a library with soft whispering. The toast was covered in cream cheese and a pile of caramelized onions and mushrooms. Also had balsamic vinegar and basil. Came with a side of fries and salad which was an unexpected surprise. Eating crunchy toast surrounded by students being dead silent was a bit awkward but I really loved the flavors. Loved how caramelized they got everything creating a rich flavor. The fries were perfectly crispy and couldn't help but eat them even though I usually avoid fries. Salad had a light vinaigrette and was refreshing. The drink was good but way too sweet for me. I had to toss it halfway through. I will ask next time if I can have less sweetener. Nice place. Recommend if you want a quiet lunch. Free cookie with check-in!
Cute little cafe in Cypress- they have a solid food menu with brunch, Korean food, and some sides. Their drink menu is extensive as well with coffee and non-coffee options. I really enjoyed both the food and drinks that I ordered, and would come back to try more. It's a smaller space so probably not ideal for large groups. I did the check-in offer but they forgot to give me the cookie- not a big deal tho. 4 stars- would come back if I was in the area!
Back again & this time, I got to try their food and OMG let's just say they were so addicting! The truffle french fries were perfect to share & snack on--definitely a favorite! For someone with a low spice tolerance, the kimchi fried rice was still so yummy & rich in flavor. Their omelette also took me by surprise bc it's not only pretty but tasty too ~ For drinks, we wanted to try something new. We heard the hype about the biscoffee and it did not disappoint!! Best to sip on the cup first to taste the cream top! Their strawberry matcha is just as delectable especially mixed for the perfect strawberry-to-matcha ratio :-) It's only my second time here but I'm already in love with their menu and ambiance. Safe to say I'll be making more trips here!
This neat cafe is my new favorite hidden gem! I love how spacious and minimalist the interior is with the nice oak accents. Would be a cool place to hang out with a small group of friends. I ordered the avocado toast, kimchi fried rice, strawberry matcha latte, and tea tox lemon (hibiscus and lemon). Service was great and food came out quick! The presentation here is EVERYTHING! Everything was plated so nicely, adding to the overall experience and taste Kimchi fried rice was delicious and included spam chunks and a sunny side up egg. Avocado toast was nice and light! Cream cheese in between the avocado and bread was chef's kiss Last but not least, the drinks were really good! I really enjoyed the matcha latte as the strawberry puree was just perfectly sweet. Meanwhile, the tea tox drink surprised me in a nice way. Very strong since I think there's a ginger shot in there (?) Super glad to have stumbled upon this cafe, and would definitely visit again!
I think Bancone used to be a Korean restaurant, so it's actually a bit bigger than most standard coffee shops nowadays. It's right across the street from Forrest Lawn in a superr quiet plaza. We discovered it a few months ago, and have been twice. It was pretty quiet both times we went, with some foot traffic (mostly people picking things up to go), and a handful of occupied tables inside and outside. It would be a VERY nice place to study/do some work. Both times I got the mushroom toast, and he's had the kimchi fried rice and Bancone omelette. Also had the matcha latte and Americano. All the food is pretty tasty! The mushroom toast is only lightly toasted, so the bread itself is still really soft and light, which to my surprise, I really enjoyed! One recommendation though-- is for the breakfast-like items to have more.. breakfast-like sides? The toast and omelette both came with a side salad and french fries. It was yummy, but just a little early to be eating salad and fries. His Americano was good, but he wished it was stronger. My matcha latte had a dark green film on top, so that's how I know it was actual matcha and not some pre-mixed powder. It was sweeter than I prefer, but that was probably my fault for not asking for easy sweet. Overall, we really enjoy the experience, the environment, and the service! Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
This coffee cafe is easy to find expecially if you are familiar with the City of Cypress; it's across the street from the main entrance of Forest Lawn right on Lincoln Blvd. It's part of a small plaza so there's plenty of parking. The interior is sleek and modern with large windows. While I was there mellow, jazz piano tunes were playing through the speakers. It has a quiet, comfortable vibe. They offer a variety of coffees, teas, and brunch-type foods. I ordered a chocolate croissant from their pastry case along with a hot vanilla latte. I wanted to enjoy it there so was told to sit wherever I wanted and it would be brought to my table. The friendly fellow working here delivered my order within a couple minutes. The vanilla latte had an even blend of vanilla and espresso flavor. It was a bit too hot for my tongue at first but was drinkable within five minutes. The chocolate croissant had plenty of chocolate inside. The warm croissant itself was fresh and buttery but soft and sort of squishy rather than crisp. It was still really good. On a second visit I got a hot hazelnut latte plus a cookie. The latte again took about five minutes to cool enough so I could drink it but had a vibrant, sweet hazelnut flavor which overshadowed the taste of coffee. I really liked it but it might have been too sweet for some folks. The raisin cookie was good but nothing out of the ordinary. I was told their pastry case items are outsourced. This is an excellent spot to grab some great coffee and small bites.
Alright. Back for another review came in last week at 9 when they open for coffee and breakfast come to find out they don't serve food until 9:30 it's bad enough they opened at 9 for a coffee shop but 9:30 for food is annoying so. Sat there and waited and ended up being there for over an hour. Come back today 5/6 and THEYRE CLOSED!!! And a new business has already made its way in. I'm pretty upset given I found this place less than a month ago went twice and now it's gone. No place ever lasts in this location so I'm really hoping the next place will survive. RIP Biscoffee and delish breakfast croissant
Great place to get together to have a bite and drink coffee/tea in this part of town. The standalone building is spacious, and the parking lot is plentiful, making it convenient for larger groups. The service is friendly and quick, ensuring you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The brunch menu is impressive, featuring both classic favorites and some specialty items that showcase Korean cuisine. Everything came out looking pristine and tasted fresh and clean, reflecting the care put into each dish. The inviting atmosphere made it easy for me to enjoy brunch with friends, and I appreciated how well the staff accommodated our group. I will definitely keep this café in my brunch rotation and recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience in the area. We went to Cafe Bancone located in Cypress, CA. This place had a very unique menu with more options than just coffee. The building is very spacious with plenty of seating and a quiet space for studying. The cafe contains plenty of food options that are Korean inspired. Their coffee menu is very limited, but still carries very tasty options. We were definitely excited to see what Bancone had to offer. We ordered an iced Biscoff Latte, a latte style that has become one of Coffee Thursday's favorites! This drink was well made and was described as not the sweetest drink Bancone offers (which is good). The drink is creamy and milky, but infused with a bitter taste that blends with the delicious cookie butter. This location also adds cold foam to their drinks, which is always great for a little hint of sweetness. We also ordered their Einspänner, an iced latte with cold foam. All the sweetness usually comes from the foam, making the latte a less sweetened portion of the drink to perfectly balance the foam. However, the einspänner at Bancone is sweeter than what we are usually used to. It was not a bad taste, but very unexpected. It tasted more like a sweetened latte with cold foam on top. We dined with Kimchi Fried Rice. The plate was delicious and packed with so much flavor. It is a spicy meal, so keep that in mind!!!! This location is worth trying despite not having plenty of coffee options, they still have matcha, smoothies, and other types of drinks. The food is also worth trying! Let us know what you tried!
I found a lil gem!! It's called Bancone and it's adorable!! They don't have a huge menu, but they do have a nice selection of unique drinks, and they also have pastries as well as heartier dishes such as sandwiches, toasts and fried rice. During this visit, I ordered the Apple Peach Iced Tea. The homie got the Black Sesame Oat Latte. No complaints on the drinks. I loved mine, and the lady at the register offered to adjust the sweetness level for me if it wasn't up to par. Thankfully, it was right on the money! The Tonkatsu was the sole dish we shared, and we both agreed it was delicious! I've had this dish at other places and more often than not, it is usually greasy since it's fried. This was not the case. I don't even think they use panko breadcrumbs. I'm guessing they use corn flakes, but it WORKS and gives the perfect crisp to the protein! The salad and rice were also a good portion to share if you're not starving. The restaurant is very casual and has a laid back vibe. The inside was full of students studying, and young families so we opted to sit outside in the fresh air. Prices are very reasonable. The establishment is accessible and the service is great! I am going to keep this on my bookmark list. Who knows.. I may end up here again tomorrow! =) read more
Cute place to study, get work done or catch up on the latest cheese with your friends. Plenty of seats for single, double or fours. Any larger than that you'll have to try your luck on the studies that already planted themselves in their seats. The drinks are delicious. My sesame drink was thick and creamy minus the lactose. It kept me going for the two hours I was there. It wasn't too sweet either which I prefer. The service was decent but nothing to really complained about. Ample parking right in the front. The con is that it's right across the street from the cemetery tho I found it quite peaceful when I was there. So the next time you need to get out of the house to get some work done or catch up with friends, I'd recommend Bancone. read more
Came here for a quick pick me up. This is a cute, little coffee shop that also serves food and pastries. I regret that I did not get to try any food items. I ordered the strawberry matcha and immediately loved it. Perfect blend and not too sweet. I definitely would recommend this place and would return if ever in the area again. read more

I love this spot! Since my first visit I've been obsessed, and it has definitely become one of my favorite places in OC to get matcha. All the drinks are delicious and the perfect sweetness. Also worth noting is the Black Sesame latte, which I'm sure all black sesame lovers will enjoy. read more

I really needed this meal and pit stop this day. I was early for an event across the street and needed a quick lunch and a coffee. The katsu was very crispy and tasty and the latte was so sweet and excellent. I'm glad I chose this spot for my quick break. read more

This place is greeat! Very big and spacious inside and they actually serve food! Lots of parking spaces around. Its literally right in front of the cemetery so cant miss it! We ordered the strawberry matcha latte and biscoffee! Both fairly delicious!!! The biscoffee was strong and I was able to stay awake throughout the day which is always a plus!! I cant wait to try their food options in the near future!! read more

I stopped by this coffee shop for the first time while waiting for my thick winter blanket to finish washing at a nearby laundromat. I decided to try the Iced Vanilla Latte ($5.50), and it tasted great! This location seems convenient for those visiting Forest Lawn Memorial Park, as they can grab an iced coffee to-go. Next time, I'll definitely try the Strawberry Matcha! read more

Really quiet morning in the cafe, but the drive thru seemed to always have a car there. The lady that took my friend and I's order was so sweet. Vanilla latte was just the right amount of sweetness, and the strawberry milk tasted like fresh strawberry ice cream! The avocado toast was delicious and filling. I appreciate how much seating there was, and having a water jug out for customers. 10/10 would come back again! read more
My first time here and I was amazed. Ambiance was very nice. Great for studying and group meetings at a low volume. The croissant sandwich was AMAZING. The ham, veggies and cheese partnered up with a sweet glazed croissant was DELICIOUS! I am definitely coming back here again!!! The menu is huge giving anyone plenty of choices!! read more
This cafe meets all the criteria for the perfect work/study cafe! FOOD - highly recommend the salmon & avocado toast DRINKS - many Korean inspired drinks, matcha latte wasn't the most authentic but still good! SPACE - plenty of tables for seating, good spot to hang out in groups read more

Cute Korean cafe in Cypress! I've had thus place bookmarked for a while and finally had the chance to visit. You order your food at the counter and find a nice seat. Service is friendly and relatively fast. Got the... -truffle fries -avocado toast -yuzu ade -einspanner All things ordered were 10/10-- except the einsoanner (9/10). I just wish the foam was thicker and sweeter-- it's a little too thin for me read more
What a unique and great find in an otherwise odd area. If you find yourself at Forest Lawn in Cypress and need a great coffee or breakfast item to-go or for dine-in, Bancone is the spot for you. They are definitely in an old fast food establishment as there's evidence of a drive-thru, but it's not in use here. They have outdoor seating as well. Inside there's plenty of seats and tables and the place is nicely decorated. I ordered an Einspänner and it was a solid choice and kept me going throughout the day. I'd get it again for sure. I was on a time crunch so I didn't have time to try their breakfast items, but I did see it come out of the kitchen and they look delicious! read more
Cute little cafe with plenty of seating! We tried the avocado toast, shrimp tartine and black sesame oat latte. So so yummy! They were generous with the toppings for the toasts and the black sesame flavor was strong in the best way. The workers were also very friendly and welcoming. My friends recommended this new little coffee shop so we stopped in on a Sunday morning. Orders are placed at the register and they bring your drinks and food out to your table. We asked for menu recommendations and the workers were helpful and nice. The menu has a variety of toasts, sandwiches and salads along with some Korean dishes. The top selling drinks were listed on the wall behind the register so one friend had the Apple Peach tea and another tried the Yuzu ade. Both enjoyed their drinks said they were refreshing. I enjoyed my Kimchi Fried Rice, tasty and not too spicy. The portion was large and I ended taking home almost half of it. I also ordered the Mango Bingsu and checked in for the free cookie. The cookie was ok. We shared the bingsu. Lots of mango chunks over the milky ice...so good on a hot day! Yummy! Another thing to mention is that this place is bright and has a cafe vibe. Music playing in the background and seemed quite popular for Sunday brunch. read more

Wasn't expecting much since I'm not a huge fan of breakfast food but my breakfast was really good. I got an omelet which came with arugula salad and fries. The avocado toast was surprisingly good too, I think because of the butter they use underneath the avocado? Newly opened neighborhood cafe has cool vibes, quiet and spacious. There were only a few other women besides myself and I seemed to be the only one having brunch. The young man at the counter was soft spoken and courteous. I got a caramel latte (8.5/10) made to order - probably should have asked for an espresso shot. Also a breakfast omelette which had chopped ham, tomatoes and bell peppers (9/10) While waiting I also tried a pecan pie bar (felt like the crust was too soft : I hoped to eat the bar without utensils but I needed to ask for theses since it quickly fell apart before I could pick it up (5/10) - good flavor though. Pastry case had several other choices. Overheard others order signature fruity teas. Those also looked refreshing. Looks like there is free WiFi since two other customers seemed to be working on laptops. Owner named Soo came by to say hello. She spent a few minutes chatting. I advocate supporting women and minority Asian owned businesses! It's early days so I hope they continue doing better. Yelp check in gets a free chocolate chip cookie! read more
My friend and I decided to try this cafe out and I am so glad we did! Truly a hidden gem. I love that they have lots of food options, and the drinks were good. I got the einspanner & my friend got a matcha einspanner (it isn't officially on the menu, but she asked if they would be able to make it and they said yes!) We also got a free cookie with a breakfast purchase when checking into yelp! It was delicious warmed up :) It's in a great location/plaza with lots of parking spaces. We came on a Sunday around 12pm. It wasn't too busy and we were able to grab a table right away! They also have free wifi and a few ports around if you plan on doing work there like we did. Incredible. Service is excellent and the coffee is fantastic! This is a new little coffee spot (they also have food, tea, pastries, and bingsoo). We only got two coffee's to go, and both of those were phenomenal, I got the einspanner and my husband got the black sesame latte. I asked for mine half caff and they delivered. I ended up drinking most of my husband's black sesame latte bc it was SO good. The shop itself was cute and filled with many individuals working when we visited. I will most def be back when I'm in the area again. read more

What a cleaness place near my house..yay~~ I went here already 3 times....I'm not a coffee addiction but drink?? Yes... I really like any kind of their ade, especially green grapeade....also strawberry latte!!! What a hidden gem in Cypress. It's quite minimalist inside and you order at the front. I got the shrimp tartine and it was light yet flavorful! The biscoffee latte was also quite yummy. It got pretty busy later in the morning but there is plenty of seating inside and outside. If you sit outside, you get a good view of the cemetery. I love it! read more

Plenty of tables to study at, although there aren't too many outlets. The service is great and everyone is super kind! Very clean and very spacious, I would recommend! I've tried the black sesame latte and it was not good, the coffee was not strong and very watery. Black sesame heavily overpowered. The matchas are also insanely sweet, def adjust the sweetness level!! Drinks and food are okay, but great ambiance. read more
this is a cute cafe in cypress. it's lowkey a hidden gem! the employees were nice and welcoming. they have a wide variety of food and drink selections. there is also a good amount of seating options and big tables which is perfect if you're going to study as well. read more

It was my first visit to Cafe Bancone, and the food & drink were delicious, the staff was amazing, and the vibes were immaculate. I ordered their strawberry matcha iced latte with the croissant sandwich. The food and drink tasted very fresh. I would say it's slightly on the pricer side, but this is easily overlooked for the freshness of the food, professionalism of the staff, and care that goes into serving the food. Food came hot, place is very clean, and they give silverware utensils. If you're looking for this kind of experience, I don't think you'll find it at places that have cheaper pricing. Therefore I think their prices are reasonable for what you get. Great wifi connection and calm atmosphere, I love their kpop playlist and cute furniture, all this helps me think creatively for getting work done. Even on a hot day, it feels cool inside, and has great natural lighting. The staff was very helpful and kind, and I felt very taken care of. If there was something I needed, it wasn't hard to find. There are only a few outlets around if you plan to stay there a while. All in all, great first time experience! I would come here again. read more
