Came here for a coffee meeting to try somewhere new! As everyone has said, everything is vegan and gluten free which is nice, especially for someone who loves all the nut milks. We all got some coffees and split a blueberry crumble which was super yummy. Just wish it was a bit bigger, it was hard to stay focused when there are toddlers and pups running around! 6/5 if I could! The quality of this place is amazing even aside from the fact that it's gluten free and vegan!! We ordered a muffin, the samoa, cornbread, and bagel. The cornbread was less rich than I was hoping, but besides that everything tasted SO good. The carrot apple muffin was moist, fluffy, and flavorful - MUCH better than a lot of normal (non-GF, non-vegan) muffins!! Shockingly good. And the samoa block was was addicting...good thing we only got one. I had low expectations for the bagel since I think it's difficult to make gluten-free, but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. It had a toasty flavor that was too good. Harmony is much better than Hegemony or Alimony. That's for sure. So someone who is vegan is known as a Vegana? Is that right? I can't remember. What I liked about this 5-star Vegan bakery in the trendy part of Baltimore: (1) Wonderful service. The people running it seem to be a couple and are absolutely fantastic, friendly, personable people. (2) They served me after closing time. Who does that? These guys! (3) It's Vegan!!! What I didn't like: (1) I had to park facing the wrong way to go inside. But it was worth it. I'm not being dirty. (2) The stuff I bought (a muffin and a brownie) was a bit dry and chalky for my taste, good, not amazing. (3) The area is so hipster, I think I grew a beard and found vintage clothes on my body just from entering the neighbourhood. Overall I have to give it a 5 star. This quaint and adorable bakery is absolutely one of my favorite places to dine! Everything is made from scratch and with love. Everyone who works there is also so friendly and they don't mind if you bring your doggos in either :) My favorite dish is the kale caesar topped with a crab cake made from artichokes. This place is magical. If it's been a long long time since you've tasted doughnuts or delicious cream cheese icing or a moist cupcake (omg) then please go to this place. We made the switch to gluten free and dairy free for health reasons over a year ago and have been slowly trying to find places to go to when we get a craving for certain things. My partner is a sweets fanatic so when we visited for his birthday we ordered several things off the menu. The doughnuts were absolutely delicious. Each bite my boyfriend said "are you SURE these are gluten and dairy free?" I don't know anymore they have to be lying to us My favorite was the carrot cupcake with maple frosting. Why haven't I been here before in B'More? Oh yeah, it's way off the proverbial beaten track, so way off. I kind of don't want to tell people about Harmony because I am afraid it will make them so popular that supply and demand will dictate price increases? So, with that said - yes, it's delicious for gluten-free vegan food! Go! What's good about it? The place is all gluten-free. How nice. The place is all vegetarian. How nice. The desserts are all vegan. HEAVEN is close with Harmony in B'More! They have salad and bagel sandwiches, as well as soup. These do not excite me, but it is nice to have these choices. What really made me happy was vegan spinach pie and vegan quiche. I am wicked persnickety when it comes to any type of baked good. However, once I accepted that this place was the humble homestyle approach to baking, I was sold. This place is adorable and delicious. The crusts on the spinach pie and quiche are the classic homemade style. That is good - not great, but comforting. It is denser than I would like, but, it is there, and it is edible, and it tastes good. What really tastes great though, is the pastry with the gloriously tasty mound of spinach and the cornucopia of vegetables in the quiche. I am sold! Next time I am in B'More, I will be here, and I will buy all of them! The bagels aren't vegan, but, who really wants a bagel when you can have a quiche? Really? Anyhow, the desserts? Why do they have so many? My belly is not large enough to eat them all in one day, but my mind and my mouth certainly tried to convince my belly otherwise. Cake is also very homestyle, but in that comforting tasty kind of way (frosting is dense, not fluffy). No cupcakes though. Cookies and bars (karma) are pretty standard homestyle classics - brownies (a bit too gooey for my taste, kind of melt into the bakery paper), oatmeal chocolate chip cookies or as cookie sandwiches, coconut based round mounds of goodness, and the like. Chia pudding if you're into that, is also available. Biscotti and muffins, biscuits (not vegan?) and some tasty beverages are also tasty choices. In general, the baked goods are quite moist, but they hold up. As a bakery, the hours are pretty narrow. I respect the need for these hours, but since I don't live in B'more, it makes me sad! This just means when I can go, I will be buying a dozen or more items... Don't go when I am there, or I might knock you over to order what I want... you'll be fine as long as you don't get in my way. Must visit!! Amazing food and some of the BEST staff around! I drive from Annapolis to get a couple orders of the pizza and the vegan cakes along with a box of one of everything in the sweet case! The pizza is my favorite with sweet tomatoes sauce and a crust that is to die for!! Doughnuts of chocolate and cinnamon are perfect with coffee and ALL the pastries are one of a kind! I rarely review salad, but holy cow, this salad was amazing, especially with their mock crab cake. Soooo good!!! Now onto the cornbread, AKA my new drug. I'm addicted. I almost wish I had never tried it because now I'm hooked, but I have a shape to maintain. How dare them make it so dang tasty? Now the brownies, cupcakes, and cookie sandwiches... All delectable! I zoomed over to Harmony Bakery today for lunch. After a quick Lyft, I landed at a cool little bakery with all kinds of treats. The variety was great! There were salads, burgers, breads, desserts, and hot and cold beverages. Today, I got the lentil and veggie soup and the samosa. My colleague got the chickpea burger. Everything was great. The flavors and consistency were amazing! The smells of the various spices and ingredients made me very hungry. I was going to wait on my review until I had gone back a couple times but their s'mores bar just changed my life! I have never had a vegan dessert that satisfied my sweet tooth like this. I've never had a s'mores bar that was this good and I ABSOLUTELY love s'mores. I've tried them from almost everywhere and this by far is my favorite. Not to mention it's absolutely filling. I only ate half and I'm saving the other piece for after my dinner. I have their Samoa bar as well but will be holding on to it until breakfast (I'll update my review). I will say the bakery is welcoming, full of goods - both savory and sweet -, and I will definitely be returning. If for nothing else, I will get this s'mores bar everyday. I never knew vegan could taste so yummy until we went to harmony bakery. The food was really good. We ordered vegan quiche, flatbread and spinach tart. All the items were incredible. Though they are filled with veggies the flavors are all blended in creating a unique taste. The iced tea was okay. We tried walnut brownie from bakery section, and was not disappointed at all. Let's start out by saying that I love meat and do not have any food intolerance or dietary restrictions that force me to eat gluten free. I just got back from spending a year in Afghanistan, and just found out about my friend's severe gluten allergy, which breathing issues. She's basically been trapped at home to eat because most restaurants that serve GF foods don't understand Cross contamination. She's terrified at the thought of eating out and winding up in the ER. So I brought my friend here, and as advertised 100% gluten free!!! I'm eating gluten free as well when with her because cross contamination with even a hug is problematic. We split a pizza, spinach tart, and quinoa sweet potato salad. The pizza was awesome, and the crust was crunchy crispy with a very thick delicious tomato sauce. The spinach tart was amazing, cheesey cashew cheese. I already love quinoa, and this salad with it's citrus dressing was delish!!! For dessert we split a slice of carrot cake and slice of tea cake with lemon frosting, both tasted great. For me the texture was off, but my friend who hasn't had cake in almost 2 years was overwhelmed with joy!!! I did love the sample chocolate chip cookie they brought over for us to try...OMG so delightful!!! I'm hyped and can't wait to bring my wife here, but more importantly my friend's world has expanded. She even bought 2 pizzas to go and a bunch of different deserts to try. I love meat and I was not disappointed that I couldn't get any here. In fact I will be back, the food was that delicious. When looking for a vegan breakfast, my sister and I decided to visit this cafe because other options were not open til later. This is located in Hampden, about a 15 min. drive from Canton. It is definitely worth the drive. The inside is small with a couple tables but you can also sit outside at a patio table, which is what we did. Dogs are welcome here. The daily specials are listed on their website, so you can easily see what you might want ahead of time- I ordered the Bagel Melt ($6.95) and the Golden Milk ($3). The milk had the option of being served warm or cold and it was a yummy cup of goodness- almond milk, tumeric, ginger, cardamom, maple syrup, & pepper. What genius thought of that? I would have never put that together, but it was surprisingly tasty and had a nice spice to it. The Bagel Melt was also delicious and came with plenty of avocado and cashew cheese on it. My sister had the caeser salad with a quinoa patty on top, which was also a good choice. They also have a variety of pastries, all vegan as well. We tried the doughnuts (50 percent off the day old ones). They were ok, but there are plenty of other ones to try. The chocolate cake looked good and the slices were big enough to share. Overall this is an adorable find! The neighborhood itself is fun to walk around and window shop but not much else going on there. I would make the trip again just for the food. read more

This place has some surprisingly good vegan and gluten-free dessert options. I am personally not vegan or gluten-free but my family is so I picked up a bunch of treats for our Easter celebration a few weekends ago not only was the price incredible for such delicious goodies but everyone was able to enjoy and you literally could not tell that what we were eating was vegan or gluten-free. Harmony is without a doubt the BEST gluten-free bakery I've ever been to. Including all those visited in LA and NYC. The attention to detail in terms of flavors, sweetness, and texture are often lost when dealing with gluten-free flours and ingredients (as many celiacs know) but Harmony is the real deal. On top of it, all of their food is free of refined sugars and vegan, so every single baked good has the perfect amount of sweetness and ingredients that make you feel GOOD. Additionally, it is often hard to be a celiac with a nut allergy, but Harmony is incredibly allergen-friendly and there are many items that do not contain nuts or nut flours. Hate to be this cliche/cheesy, but one can literally taste the love and passion that goes into making everything at Harmony. In a world where everything is mass produced or comes out of a plastic bag/container, we all need a little more Harmony in our lives. Their savory items are my personal favorite! I just discovered this place on yelp while looking for a quick place to eat that's Gluten Free. I was shocked that everything was completely GF and Vegan! This is so rare coming from Boston to find two dietary restrictions catered in one location. The place was so cute and the food was amazing!! I got the mushroom calzone which was everything. What an impressive little bakery! I stopped by here after getting brunch in Hampden and had no idea it was was vegan and gluten-free. I spent a solid ten minutes ogling at all the options and the lady working there was very polite and patient with me. There are many unique pastries that were made with ingredients I wouldn't have thought to put together {no-bake "bliss ball" with mango, pumpkin seeds, and coconut = actually quite yummy!} They also had real breakfast items like quiches, tarts, soups and salads. I'll have to come back to try these out. This shop itself was so chic - wooden displays, chalkboard placards, bookshelves with real books?
