Visited Bunny's Buckets & Bubbles in Baltimore, MD over the weekend for brunch. I had a taste for a nice soft biscuit and I remembered they're known for their chicken and biscuits so it was only right. Bunny's is in the Fells Point area of the city right off the water. It's a cute vibrant restaurant located right on the corner with outdoor patio seating and a full indoor dining area, bar, and second floor seating. We did make a reservation (which I would suggest) however if you get there early enough (between 10:00am - 10:30am) you should be able to get seated at a table or the bar. The staff there are very friendly and have great energy. The two hostess even offered us suggestions and their faves from the menu. Our server Jess was also very helpful and attentive during our time there. As far as food, we started off with a classic mimosa & paired it with the cinnamon bun which was delicious. Soft on the inside with a nice crust & the perfect creamy frosting with a hint of citrus. We were told they have a pastry chef in house so everything is made fresh (buns, biscuits, pastries). For our entrees we ordered the biscuits & gravy and "The Bunny's Benny." These were the perfect savory dishes! The sausage gravy was creamy, seasoned well, & had a hint of spice. The hollandaise sauce was sweet with a twang which paired well with the tomato jam and egg (I had mine scrambled). I ordered it with a side of the miso hot honey for chicken bites .. so good! Both dishes were large portions so if you wanted to share you could or plan to have some for leftovers. We also got to meet Ron, who's the general manager. Very nice man, attentive to his guest, and welcoming personality. Overall we had a great experience 10/10 and will definitely be back! read more

I was so impressed by this restaurant! My friend suggested it, and I was happy to follow his lead. It's located in Fells Point, a beautifully quaint area with cobblestones and colonial row houses galore. We had a super friendly, helpful server, and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. So much looked good, and I knew I wanted some fresh crab (when in Rome!). I got the crab benedict, and while I don't usually go for benedicts, I was really in it for the lump crab. The flavor and freshness were able to shine in this dish, and it was honestly perfect. My friend liked his crab cobb salad, and my husband wasn't super hungry, but he enjoyed his popcorn chicken appetizer. The food and drinks are both incredibly creative as well! read more

This place takes fried chicken to the next level!! I had the brown butter chicken sandwich and my partner had the chicken and waffle sandwich. The flavore profile of both sandwich were superb. The perfect fried crispness while not being dry. The flavors they use are both comfortable familiar of classic fried chicken but elevated and with their own spin. Made ysboth say out loud this is some of the best chicken we ever had. Cocktails are also spot on. We'll balanced. The place was slammed on Fri night, get a reservation if possible. TLDR: Fun, indulgent brunch spot with creative cocktails, excellent small plates, and great service, though the pricey fried chicken bucket didn't quite live up to the rest of the meal. My group of five decided to try Bunny's Buckets & Bubbles for Saturday brunch and came away happy with the experience. Bunny's had been on my list for a minute, and once I saw they joined the InKind dining app, I was sold. We wanted the full experience, so we ordered most of the appetizers along with their infamous fried chicken bucket to share family style. Our spread included both styles of deviled eggs, one with pimento cheese and the other with lump crab, hash browns with salmon caviar, waffle fry brunch poutine, and of course the Bougie Clique and Caviar shot with Veuve Clicquot champagne and a paddlefish caviar chaser. We also went through several rounds of cocktails, with our favorites being the Cotton Candy Spritz and the Cedar and Cider. The spritz comes with a big piece of cotton candy on the rim that dissolves into the vodka and prosecco, while the Cedar and Cider is a smoked tableside old fashioned with salted caramel sugar. Both were fun without feeling like they were all gimmick. Service was great as well, with food and drinks coming out at a nice pace throughout our leisurely two hour brunch. My only gripe was the main event, the eight piece fried chicken bucket. At $42, with sauces another $2 each, it is a pricey bucket of chicken. It was tasty, but in a city where you can get absolute fire fried chicken from a chicken box joint for $8 to $10, you better bring something out of this world at that price. Our standouts were easily the lump crab deviled eggs and the hash browns with caviar. Overall, Bunny's made for a really enjoyable Saturday brunch and is definitely worth trying, especially if you want something a little more indulgent and fun. read more

Such a cute spot located in fells point that serves caviar, fried chicken and champagne. Before I get into the food, shoutout to Colin, our waiter. He was great and so attentive during our entire visit. Overall, a shoutout to the whole team! I bought a shirt and the gentlemen (I did not get his name) was so helpful and was so kind even though he had to walk upstairs to check their stock for my size! For food, where do I begin? We ordered majority of their shared plates rather than the mains. The hashbrowns were probably my favorite! The outer layer was so crunchy and paired beautifully with the crème fraiche and the caviar. I will say personally, the caviar choice of using salmon is not my personal favorite and would have rather paired the paddlefish caviar (which comes with the champagne shot). The saltiness from the paddlefish would pair better with the hashbrowns since I did think it was under seasoned. The deviled eggs were also delicious and I would recommend the one with the pimento cheese! For drinks, I would highly recommend the cotton candy spritz! It looks so fun and love how it changes the color of the drink when you melt the candy inside. The fried chicken, their main attraction was good but definitely on the pricier side of $42 for the entire chicken. That said, it was delicious, nice crunch and seasoning. If you opt for the sauce, I do recommend the gochujang bbq. The flavor is well balanced, not too sweet or spicy and paired beautifully with the fried chicken. oh my gosh, I loved this place so much first of all it had such a cool vibe and was in such a cute little area of town from the music to the decorations to the staff there it all was so unique. Now, let me talk to you about the food for starters. This is such a cute spot with amazing food! We came in on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. The restaurant has such a fun aesthetic of bunnies and hens. Cocktail menu is full of great options! I stumbled across this restaurant after taking my grandbaby to Thames Street Park. I arrived in between brunch and dinner so sat there with some appetizers until dinner. Had to try the chicken and it was pretty good. It could've used some more seasoning but I enjoyed it. The deviled eggs were delicious and the side were acceptable. The service was 3 star. The host seemed like he didn't want to seat us and while our waitress warned she would leave; it was without notice and looking for her for service was a waste of time. Both waitresses were nice no complaints just wasn't a smooth transition. I loved the outside seating but had been outside all day so sat inside. What a cute and fun restaurant with a fabulous playlist! I love the decor and ambiance in this place. The different hues of blue and added touches of pink and teal made for such a vibrant feel. We ate here for brunch. Nice location and vibe in Fells Point. The bar sits in the middle with tables around it to include upstairs and outside seating. Our waitress Hannah was very engaging. We have been to this place for brunch and for a few happy hours. We love the funky fun vibe and the speedy service. One time we ordered the entire happy hour menu because we were tired of making decisions that day. It was a great little buffet for two! We now restrain ourselves a bit (I can highly recommend the Nuggies, the Sando, and the Caviar and Chips) and you can't beat the champagne price. I forgot to update this review after my third visit, which finally included food! I returned, after falling in love with their drink program on two past occasion, for brunch with friends. We share some deviled eggs we tried all three types - lump crab, traditional with pickled mustard seed, and pimiento cheese with crispy chicken skin crumbles) and hush puppies with honey butter. I really enjoyed the traditional and pimiento deviled eggs (the lump crab just didn't work for me with a deviled egg). I found the hush puppies to be over-fried and a bit dry, but the honey butter was delicious and made them work (you just needed quite a bit). A friend and I shared the Collard Green Caesar (chopped collard greens, pickled red onion, boiled peanuts, cornbread croutons, hot sauce Caesar dressing, and Parmesan) and 2 pieces of fried chicken (served with a biscuit, pickled, and honey butter). I'm not sure collard greens are the best green for a play on a Caesar - it's just so fibrous and bold - but I get what they're doing here: a Southern Caesar, and it was good. The fried chicken is probably why a majority of patrons are there at any given time, and I can see why. It was well fried, well-seasoned, and very flavorful. The service, drinks, and vibes were - as always - very good. The food at Bunny's is good, but I think I'll always think of it first as a great place for a drink and a snack. read more

We ordered the smoked oyster dip and pimento cheese dip along with the chicken and catfish Sammy. I had the Ramona Flower cocktail. The dips were great and enjoyed those. They had good balance. My friend ordered the chicken, which I had a piece, which was very flavorful, juicy and crispy. The collard greens per them was not that great this time around. I give this restaurant an A for effort, B for food. Pros: I really like the concept of this spot--fried chicken and champagne are the perfect combo. The atmosphere is fun, the location is great and the staff members are very friendly. The menu also has something for everyone, including a good vegan option. Cons: This just isn't the best fried chicken I've had. I just moved to Baltimore, but I absolutely love fried chicken and have already found a couple of better places with better food. Well this was an experience! Unfortunately, so much that I forgot to take one picture! I did get to snag a photo of my leftovers. I had the 2 piece GLUTEN FREE fried chicken! I was so surprised to see that they had that option. For clarity, I am not sure if al there chicken is fried in a gluten free mix or not. I had the side of collard greens with it. We actually added bacon bits which brought it up a notch. Since I am a breakfast person, I also added eggs. Delicious. The waitress was knowledgeable and sweet. This place was such disappointment. Visited to pick up what was apparently Baltimore's best fried chicken. Got the chicken bites roll with waffle fries and a two piece combo with honey biscuits and twaffles (truffle waffles). This is such a greasy, heavy meal with not much of an addictive taste to justify it. The chicken was mediocre. The bun was good. The biscuit was hard and the butter was okay. The sauces do not smell good, almost a disgusting smell which was odd because the rest smelled fine. But the worst part were the fries. They were damn near rock hard! Zero crisp or flavor. The twaffles were worse. I get that Maryland has native truffles but it overdoes it. Truffles are already pungent and have a strong taste. It seems that they just pile whatever they have without thinking of the food or experience. I was so sad eating this because I had a wonderful meal afterwards at a place that I wish I had more of a hunger at the time for. The only good thing was how sweet the service was. I'm really glad I made a reservation, because the restaurant was definitely bustling with people. We had perfect seating upstairs where it was way quieter, and less stimulating. We really enjoyed our food, and our mimosas too! I added that it was my partner's birthday, and they surprised her with a complimentary dessert, she was so pleased. This place is very interesting but in a good way. It's unique which I like. Their bathroom walls are plastered with covers of playboy magazines and some other images containing nudity so not suitable for kids where that's concerned. I ordered the cinnamon roll as an appetizer and it was delicious. Perfect blend of sweetness to savory from the cream cheese frosting and I'm big on frosting. It wasn't gooey with cinnamon filling like I love but it was a great roll. I would definitely order it again. I ordered the two piece fried chicken that came with a biscuit and a hash brown for my side. The hash browns were crispy just how I like it. The fried chicken was too salty which ruined the experience for me. It was fried well but the SALT?! Too much. My friend ordered the chicken and waffle and she said the same thing so I'm not sure if we came on a bad day or if this is the norm but whoever is seasoning the chicken needs to put the salt down. Cute restaurant, good food, great service and a nice atmosphere. Came here to meet a friend from out of town and to experience a new restaurant. We came initially at hoppy hour, no that is not misspelled. We ordered chicken poutine and the croquettes for the table and shared amongst us. The chicken poutine was delicious and I almost ordered a second order for my dinner. Instead I wanted to try the crab rice and during hoppy hour, a half portion was inexpensive. The jumbo lump crab on top of the crab rice was good, and crab rice different but a little sweeter than I would have liked. If you have a gluten allergy or eat gluten free, their fried chicken is gluten free and I plan to bring a friend back here to try it. Oh and their cocktails were phenomenal, and the fact that you could get two of them without alcohol made it even better. This was a really cute nice restaurant and my friends and I had a nice time and I plan to bring other friends back here in the future especially to try the gluten-free fried Chicken. i came here for their restaurant week winter menu ($45). the menu has plenty of options and you can mix and match courses. we were seated in a nice booth in the corner which was quite cozy. for my app, i ordered the roasted sweet potato. the potato was cooked very nicely, and the pomegranite seeds and chili sauce were excellent. there was a small part of it, maybe an herb (?) that made it taste kind of soapy at times. for my entree i ordered the three piece fried chicken platter, which came with a biscuit and a side. i usually love green beans but did not find theirs appetizing and ended up not eating them. the chicken was really nice; it was really juicy and seasoned really well. i had plenty of leftovers and i didn't end up needing the sauce it came with. the biscuit was expertly done and the honey butter it came with was a nice touch. for my dessert, i ordered the meyer lemon tartlet. the lemon flavor was punchy and bold and tasted like eating straight lemon curd (a good thing). i was scraping my plate when i was done. the food was good, but honestly the highlight was the service. the bartnender was our waitress and she was the nicest person ever. the food came out really fast and she fielded our questions and accommodated substitutions really well. i was very impressed by the quality of the service. i will likely return outside of restaurant week to try other menu items. read more

Bunny's is an awesome spot for brunch in the Fells area. For drinks we ordered a Bloody Mary and Mimosa, and both were so good. The Blood Mary was the perfect amount of spicy and had pickled veggies as garnish, which was a nice touch. The mimosa was definitely one of the best ones I have had in a while, with fresh orange juice, combined with a great sparking wine. I would definitely recommend getting both with your food. We ordered the two piece with the house hot sauce, and ranch, and the southern style shakshuka, and loved both of them. The fried chicken was incredibly done, with the perfect texture. The buttered biscuits were absolutely delicious, especially when I used them to eat the shakshuka. Highly recommend asking for a side of the house hot sauce as well, which added a lot of flavor to the pork belly, pea, and egg combo. The service was wonderful, and we sat in the outside patio area, which was well covered, but still allowed us to enjoy the weather. As much as people rave about Bunny's, I felt the strong need to finally try it out. I finally got the chance during restaurant week. The location is great, as it's on a less busier street in Fells Point. I got really lucky with the street parking. The interior decor was cute and eclectic. I loved the bubble light fixures and the bunny decor. Also, service was wonderful! Our waitress was extremely helpful and our food came out relatively quickly. My group ordered from the 3 course restaurant week menu as well as other dishes on the regular menu. I started with the two piece chicken and miso-honey dipping sauce. Absolutely delicious! The chicken was seasoned nicely and the miso-honey worked so well with it. I also ordered the short rib pasta which was ok but not as great as the chicken in my opinion. I wasn't too big on having dessert so I loved that they had an option to order a drink instead. I had the Jessica Rabbit which was tasty and refreshing. I sampled my mother's crab soup and found it to be slightly too salty and not enough crab meat in it. She enjoyed her 3 piece meal with fries and biscuit. She ordered the tiramisu for dessert. She didn't really like it but I enjoyed it. My party also ordered and shared deviled eggs (I found them to be too tangy for my liking), cornmeal hush puppies with honey butter (amazing!!), and cinnamon roll bread pudding with vanilla ice-cream (not officially on the menu but it needs to be because it was diabolically delicious!) I also ordered an additional drink, Ramona Flowers which I loved 10x more than the Jessica Rabbit because it's a gin drink. My party was celebrating my mother's birthday so she was given a scoop of passion fruit sorbet which she loved. I will absolutely be back! Loved the retro vibe. There was indoor and outdoor dining. Was lucky to snag a bar seat- Resy (the reservation system they use) dislikes parties of one. Stopped in for Sunday brunch while in town for the weekend. My eyes were much bigger than my stomach and the large servings- I wanted to try everything. I had the mazing pimento cheese croquettes plus friend chicken- it came with a biscuit and a side (I chose waffle fries) and I ordered a side of sausage gravy to go with my biscuit. It was all amazing. They had a sorbet + prosecco + vodka cocktail- I had it without the vodka. Went down way too smoothly. Service was friendly and food came out quickly.
