Great brunch menu. The mixed berry poptart was so good. Super warm and delicious. Would also recommend the chicken Benedict. Mimosas were pretty good too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good spot for large groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But service was a bit slow despite not being very crowded.
Stopped in at Iron Rooster for the first time! I was always a bit hesitant to come here because I recall everyone complaining about the wait time but maybe it was the weather but we only had to wait for about 15 minutes or so. Since this location is also placed within an outdoor shopping area, it was perfect so that we can keep ourselves occupied while we waited. They have a text messaging system so you can browse and not miss your turn for your table! Once we got checked in, we were immediately seated at our table and Crystal came by to welcome us and take our drink orders. She was super friendly and very attentive despite the busy time. Overall, the prices are not too bad considering the portions sizes. We got the deviled eggs to share for the table. It was delicious! The yolk was creamy, which paired well with the bacon and pickle onions. I got the BLT and OMG, the sheer amount of bacon was overwhelming (in a good way). I honestly could not finish it. The brioche was a perfect vessel for the sandwich bc it held everything together so nicely! the egg that it came with also was the perfect pairing still making it somewhat of a breakfast dish! I do highly recommend checking this place out! I was sad I forgot to order their 'pop tart' as this was what they're known for!
My friends and I came here for my birthday and the food was so delicious. We shared the Maryland crab dip and we ate so much of it we could barely eat our main entrees! The service was good, we had a new server and he was a little nervous but he was very attentive and helpful. Came here for breakfast and decided to go with their breakfast combo that consisted of eggs, french toast, waffle or pancake and a choice of breakfast meat. My day decided to go for the steak and eggs and I was impressed with how well they cooked the steak. We also decided upon a mimosa (which I was informed was not tasty at all) and I always have to start off with hot tea during breakfast, so that is what I opted for. They have one of those cute tea boxes that our server presented me with so I selected two different ones for a good combination. However, they don't have carbs for hot water. My server had to bring me another full cup of hot water. Possibly tea is not a big seller for them but I was definitely missing my hot water carafe to freshen up my tea which also allows your server not to walk through the dining room with the full mug of hot water. Service was okay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I didn't like they do not have paper towels to draw your hands in the bathroom however have a pool door to exit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That's just me. But if you do need to use the bathroom and you require to dry your hands with the paper towel, make sure to take napkins in with you.
The food here is so comforting and delicious. The pancakes are fluffy and sweet and the butter is alike a brown sugar cinnamon butter.

It reminded me of taking a cornbread muffin and turning it into a waffle. (No shade in how it was made, I'm just use to a light and fluffy waffle batter). I'm sure there is someone whom don't mind there waffle this way. *Also with this being a to go order, the waffle would need syrup and they did not provide any in my order. I did love the fact that they had a creative cocktail and brunch menu. You can reserve seats online to dine in or order your food to go online. (I ordered online via Yelp app and picked up my food). Iron rooster reminders me of my favorite brunch spot "First Watch". I do feel I would've had a better time if I actually dined in and enjoyed the food fresh as it came out. Taking it home and heating up my experience wasn't the best. All in all the food was okay: the sugared bacon was my favorite by far. I truly want to come back and dine in, order drinks and get the true vibe of this location, so I'll definitely be back to update this review.

We came here on a recommendation and the food and service were great. I had the omelette and my husband had a crab Benedict. Both very fresh and came out fast. We also got the brown sugar roostart (pop tart) it was eh. Wish we got the berry one it might have been better. The brown sugar one was salty and like eating buttery sand.
Cold, rainy day in Baltimore, the parking lot was not crowded due to the gray skies. We were sat promptly in a very large booth yet it did take over five minutes for a server to introduce herself and take our order. Understandable as there were quite a few people there, possibly have walked over from the nearby condo. Once our order was placed beverages appeared about five minutes after that and our meal was served within 10 minutes after that.. I have the angry pig, and it was served with a mountain of home fries . The egg was fluffy. The provolone cheese was cheesy and the pig three ways, bacon, sausage, ham sprinkled on top.. add a little of their fiery honey to the potatoes really woke up my taste buds. And my espresso martini, yes, I said, martini for breakfast, was delicious. I ordered it without the simple syrup as the Baileys as plenty of sweetening deliciousness. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience on a Sunday morning was a little bit buried. The place got very busy with people in Orioles attire as they are attending the 130 game and then Raven's attire as they have an evening game both in town today.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Back at The Iron Rooster for breakfast before the Orioles game. Service is a little slow but they are slammed busy! Love Iron Crush. It's not watered down so you can taste the orange and booze. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Upbeat vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered the Combo Breakfast which had 2eggs 2pancakes, and 2 slices of scrapple. I ordered my scrapple well done and it was. I ordered my eggs over easy and they were. Seasonal pancakes (pumpkin spice) and cinnamon butter. All was very, very tasty. Service ended very good with quick food and refresher drinks.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We rolled in on a Tuesday and the place was absolutely packed -- always a good sign.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even with the crowd, the staff kept things upbeat, friendly, and fun, making the whole vibe feel like a local breakfast party. We happened to be there on Veterans Day, and they surprised us with a free "Roost-Tart," their house-made take on a Pop-Tart. It was so good that it ended up being the only picture we managed to take -- that's how fast everything else disappeared. For the main event, we ordered the Low Country Shrimp & Cheddar Grits, Biscuits and Gravy, and a round of Bloody Marys. Every dish was delicious -- hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a comfort-food brunch. If you're in Canton and looking for a breakfast spot that's busy for all the right reasons, Iron Rooster is absolutely worth the visit. And definitely don't skip the Roost-Tart!

Me and my youngster stopped by after church and we had an amazing time. Customer service from Martina truly stood out. We had a miscommunication during my order and when food came out, she quickly realized the problem. I want to give her praise because before we could even talk about who might have made the mistake, a corrected order was already sent to the kitchen. I'm almost certain I caused the mistake, but Martina resolved things swiftly. I don't usually do breakfast places twice but I would come back for the service and food.We ordered the following: Happy face pancake: 8/10 - she wished it was a little crispier but very good. Second time here and I absolutely love it. First time I got the Big Brunch Bowel( excellent if you like grits). This time I opt for the Chicken and Waffles and boy was the chicken delicious. Service was great! You can basically order anything off the menu and create your own meal. The only reason I didn't give five stars because the Black Cherry mimosa was not as good. Went on a Sunday around 11:00am and the line was out the door. We only waited 20 min for a table since it was a party of 2. But I was hearing others wait time was 1 hour or more for large parties. read more

I was quoted 25 minutes for a table for 10. I was seated in 17 minutes. Flora came over to immediately assist. Flora was really nice, and sweet. Flora was very attentive, patient, and nailed it with order consistency. She had all the answers to our many food and beverages questions. The environment was vibrant and clean. Collectively, we ordered the following. Arnold Palmer (with and w/o alcohol) Fried Chicken and Potatoes Chicken & Waffle Crabby Omelet Rooster Club BYO- Omelet All was very quiet as we devoured our meals so, you know what that means !! Lol The food was amazing!! Well plated, great temp, and fulfilling. I personally had the Chicken & Waffle. I asked to add onions and peppers. It came out amazing. The fried chicken breasts were yum as well. I requested a manager to share my experience w Flora and Cary came over. She was professional, and humble. She was comedic as well. Food was great and service was even better! I went solo for a late breakfast and ate at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and accommodating and gave great recommendations - definitely try their mixed berry RoosTart! I came here for a gift exchange with a party of 10. It was lovely they seated us upstairs we had a private room without paying for a private room basically. Kid waitress was lovely. She was patient with us and very helpful accommodating our needs. I signed up for the loyalty program and got free bacon which was delicious. Hol up hol up before I forget .... They had scrapple on the menu. Yes I ordered a side of it and it did not disappoint . I also had shrimp and grit and and Arnold Palmer. Both we good. I really don't have any complaints . read more

I haven't to been to Iron Rooster in a while and I forgot this is actually a decent breakfast option. I came on Sunday morning and was seated right away. GLOWS: -Service was friendly and efficient -The chicken and pancakes dish is really good!!! -They have a decent avocado toast -Ask for onions with your home fries ! It really elevates them! -Their pop tarts are really good. I usually get the mixed berry, but I got the seasonal strawberry cheesecake and was very pleased with it! GROWS: -Our food had some fiber looking material in it (didn't quite look like hair , maybe it was) . They took the food back and fixed it with apologies -Because there is outdoor seating, the door opened often and let a bunch of flies in. They were quite a disturbance. read more

It was my first time visiting here and the food was amazing. I got the shrimp and grits, soo good! We also got the candied bacon which surprisingly came on a stick and tried the special poptarts that they are known for! No complaints, and service was great! read more
Me and my Yelp elite friends had a late friendsmas here and it was a pleasure. First of all there was a group of 10 of us and they were able to spilt our checks with ease. For whatever reason that's a hard accommodation to find these days. The server was also on it and didn't mess up one order. The food was top notch as well! read more
I wanted something fresh and delicious for my birthday brunch but didn't want to leave the house. Iron Rooster for the win. The ginormous mozzarella sticks were crispy and seasoned. The marinara sauce added the perfect tang. My brunch bowl was a variety of flavors and textures that hit every taste bud. The soft texture of the eggs with the crispy meat. The caprese was a delight with the acid from the tomato complimenting the sweet and acidic dressing on the salad. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. read more

It's been about 7 years since I last visited Iron Rooster and it's just as good as I remember! I was there with a group of 10 and we were able to get seating on the 2nd level all to ourselves. Our waitress was friendly and patient. Although we were a large party and not her only table, she was very diligent with taking our orders, checking in on us and making sure we weren't missing anything. I ordered the BYO omelet. I added spinach and sausage along with cheese. On the side I had a single pancake. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the service and the company. Can't wait to visit again! read more

Came here for a secret Santa with a party of 8. they do not take reservations, but they sat us upstairs, which was nice because we were the only ones up there. Our server, Flora, was incredibly patient and attentive. I got the chicken and waffles which came with a side of home fries. I ordered the gravy on the side. The chicken was a tad bit dry but overall, I would give it a 4/5. They give free refills on coffee as well, which is definitely a plus. read more

Great spot for some breakfast or brunch style meals, if you are a 3rd shifter, they run happy hour stink specials Monday through Friday from 7am to 10 am which is something different. But we had great service overall, although initially a little slow but they did have an almost packed lunch crowd when we went Saturday. So just be a little patient as the food is well worth it. It'a a nice spot with indoor and outdoor dining as well and if you want to get it to go, then right down the street is a park on the water that would make for a great outside meal as well. read more

This is a solid American brunch spot I came with a group for a birthday brunch and we walked in without a reservation. We were originally told we needed to wait 20 mins, no big deal, however only 2 minutes later we were able to sit down! Def was happy about that (this was around the 1:30pm Saturday brunch hours) For food, We tried the buffalo bites, French toast and chicken tenders, a breakfast platter with scrambled eggs and crab cake eggs Benedict. Everything was flavorful and the portions were very generous! A standout was definitely the chicken buffalo bites; they were tender and juicy and slightly spicy. Definitely great fried chicken. The Rooster bites were crispy, juicy and delish also can't go wrong with a classic benedict, burger, and breakfast platter. Give it a try if you're in the area! Stopped here for Brunch on a Saturday around 1:30 and they were busy. We had a reservation-recommended. Spacious dining area with two levels and a good sized Bar area with TVs. All day breakfast concept with some sandwiches/lunch and they have a wide variety of choices. We started with a Chicken Pesto Flatbread. Perfect for sharing and tasty with a nice mix of toppings. The Roostart (Mixed Berry and their house made Pop Tart) was also enjoyed although it could've been dessert. For Main, I had the Crab Hash which reminds me of a Mish Mash dish I had in Montreal. So many ingredients that play well together with the Chipotle Hollandaise taking it over the top. Rest of the Entrees were delicious and enjoyed- Angry Pig Omelet (Meat Lovers delight), Southern Fried Rooster and Chicken and Pancakes (seasoned Chicken didn't disappoint). Service was friendly and attentive. Jordan took great care of us. Generous portions (most took 1/2 of their meal home) in an upbeat atmosphere-with 3 more area locations to choose from. read more
