A group of girlfriends and I came in for the second time after a long day of conferences with our sorority and enjoyed our table position that was tucked away from the crowds. Music was good in the background. Our server, Andrew was fantastic!!! He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and polite. We would come back just because of his service. We enjoyed our crab cake sliders, sweet potato fries, The Yard Tacos Al Pastor and our lattes. Several of us ordered wings to go bc we weren't sure what would be open after our last set of events tonight. A couple of things arrived not as hot as we would have liked and were exchanged immediately for an improved version, nice and hot! Prices were extremely reasonable compared to neighboring restaurants whose food wasn't as good. Thank you! read more

While I n town for a conference I walked to The Yard from my hotel across the street. Nice waitress and service was fairly quick. Ordered the grilled pork chop and mashed potatoes. Chop was juicy and had great flavor. Red cabbage & Apple slaw was a nice surprise. As far as hotel restaurants go, it was nice and convenient. read more

Warm, cozy space with a feeling or privacy. Great for a quiet meal. The staff was very accommodating and even changed the TV channel for us to watch Monday Night Football. There were three of us in my party and everybody loved their meals. We had the wings, burgers, and a nice salad. The place wasn't touristy at all even though it is in a hotel. I'll come back often just like any great restaurant! read more

I struggle with this review. Arrived late Thursday and looked for a place nearby the hotel. The initial service and drink delivery went well. I ordered the crab chowder to start. The chowder tasted good. It was creamy and had a good amount of vegetables. The problem was the crab in the soup was almost nonexistent. They were able to infuse some crab flavor but visible crab in the chowder would have been a great improvement. I ordered the turkey BLT with a side cesar. The cesar was good and the best part of the meal. It had the right amount of dressing, parmesan, croutons and acid. It all blended well. The turkey BLT had potential but was disappointing. It was made in a club style with multiple layers of toast. Very generous portions of turkey and the bacon was cooked nice and crispy. The toast was bordering on burnt and served in a way that the really brown toast was at the bottom. The bread had more of consistency of a crouton. It was hard to eat the sandwich and it definitely made the roof and base of your mouth raw. The sandwich was almost impossible to eat due to the toast which contributed to the dryness of the BLT. It is a nice looking bar with good potential and atmosphere. The quality of the food needs improvement If the BLT is indicative of the rest of the menu. The drinks are solid, I asked for an old fashioned with 1/2 the simple syrup. It was excellent. Service at the end tailed off. read more

The service was good and food didn't take long to come out. They have a really good music selection that creates a pretty nice vibe. The burgers were good but nothing groundbreaking. The honey wings were a table favorite, though the server recommended the honey old bay wings and I wished we'd tried it. Not a bad place to grab a bite to eat before going to the baseball game. read more

Probably the highlight of the Marriott, at least for my visit. Our group had time to kill before an event and we were directed by the event staff. They said that it would be a good place to pass the time and get a drink to bring to the show if you want. For an influx of about forty people they were able to accommodate us and do it swiftly. Our group definitely made it a busy evening for them. I can echo what one reviewer said, this place is not awful. However, you have to remember this is a hotel bar. This is a place that has the basic stuff to make your basic drink. Definitely not a full bar. They do have nightly specials. Which were a hit for the night that we were there with our group. But this is definitely not a place I would go out of my way to visit on the regular. read more

Food was just ok. Service was ok. Waited a while to be seated as they were "setting " tables. Thought they were doing so to seat a big party but that wasn't the case. Conveniently located and ok if you are in the area and need some food. read more

Pretty solid. I came here randomly after being in the area for something else. I had the Maryland Mule (tasty) and the chicken sandwich (okay). the slice of ham is throwing me off a little. It is in a hotel lobby, so though everything else seems pretty busy, the restaurant was fairly slow. I was the only person at one point (arrived a little after 2pm on a Saturday). There is nice decor and a pleasant vibe. Service was very friendly and quick. I can see myself coming back and trying something else. read more

I placed an order today (8/20/25) around 9:30 PM for a well-done "Yard Burger" and tipped extra as well. I was surprised at how quickly it was prepared but gave the benefit of the doubt. However, when I got home and took the first bite, I found the burger to be noticeably undercooked and not what I ordered. I immediately tried calling back, but no one answered the phone even though the restaurant is open until 12:00 AM. There were only a few customers (2-3) in the restaurant at the time, so for my call to be ignored feels unprofessional--especially considering I tipped generously. This experience has left me concerned about the quality of the rest of my order. For example, I am hesitant to even eat the Caesar salad, as it may also have been rushed. read more

This restaurant is inside of the Marriott which is lovely. The ambiance is very nice, the food isn't pricey and came out nicely plated. However, thats all the positives I can offer. The biggest issue that makes me not want to return or recommend is the fact that it took over an hour to receive my order and 30 minutes to receive some hot tea. I had a party of 8 and the most "intricate" dish that could've taken a long time was a crab cake sandwich or a burger- both came out cold. That's insane to have to wait that long for cold food. Also, the waitress kept teleporting away so we couldn't even ask for updates or remind her about the tea or to refill the waters. The guy who finally served us the food was very pleasant tho and made sure to correct a few of the items that weren't right. Overall, terrible wait time and service. read more

The waiter was horrible, he charged my card twice for over $200 and just said oh I swiped it for the wrong check amount your money will be there tonight.. wrong! The food was mediocre not to mention the menu is not the same as what's shown online so your options are limited. I will not be back to this place. The only thing that was good was the buffalo wings (well done). I don't plan on going back EVER! read more

This restaurant appears to be significantly understaffed with regard to food preparation, at least part of the time. On July 4th, a group of 6 of us went there in the afternoon, two hours in advance of an evening event. We assumed that a relatively order of drinks, burgers, and salads, no appetizers, would come out relatively quickly. There were only about 6 other customers in the restaurant. It took close to 75 minutes for all of our meals to arrive, and this was about 15 minutes after our server told us our meals would be "right out." Other smaller groups who arrived very shortly after we did had not yet received their meals even after we quickly wolfed down ours. As we were leaving, we noted that one acquaintance, who had arrived 30 minutes before our departure, had still not been greeted by anyone since having been seated. I hope this is not a persistent problem, but it was, for me, an unacceptable experience. read more

I was really pleased with the service and food offerings at this lounge/bar located inside the Marriott at Camden Yards in the Inner Harbor. The variety of beer was decent, especially with the bottles. The food was superb, but the service was even better. Had to sit at the bar, as they had no server that evening. That's fine, the bartender was pleasant. Nothing on tap. Had a couple bottled beers, Turkey burger and fries. Fries tasted so old and stale I noped out after two of them. Turkey burger was a freezer burned patty served on a bland bun. Just generally bad. I'd be embarrassed to serve it to a friend. This Marriott has stopped trying. I think they have a renovation coming soon. read more

I was staying at the Marriott for a few days, and thought I would try out the Yard for breakfast. I was greeted very quickly at the entrance and seated. The interior was nice, well light, and clean. The servers were very friendly and engaging. As you'd expect at any hotel, the prices were a little higher, but actually not that bad. I opted for the breakfast buffet, and it comes with your beverages. The glass for the tomato juice was pretty large, so I didn't even need a refill. They had scrambled eggs, french toast, bacon, sausage patties, sausage links, fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereal, etc. I opted for the eggs, bacon, sausage links, and fresh fruit. The eggs were good, although they could have used a little refresh. I thought the link sausage was excellent! It had a nice hint of heat, and awesome flavor. The bacon definitely had a nice smoky taste, but wasn't quite as crispy as you'd expect, but that's likely because of the warming tray. I was checked on by my server and another server during the meal, and they seemed very intent on making sure that everything was good, and that my coffee cup didn't get too low. All in all a good experience, and I'd try it again for lunch or dinner. read more

I was very much looking forward to have a late lunch/earlydinner here today. I arrived around 3:00 pm and the restaurant was empty. The host was polite and seated me immediately. I sat for 5 minutes when the host informed me that he was searching for the waitperson. I waited another five minutes and two more parties were seated. The host came and offered to bring me water. While the host was away, the waitperson arrived, passed my table, and started taking orders for the second party that arrived. The host returned with water for both tables. He explained to the waitperson that I was the first to arrive followed by the other two parties. The waitperson went to retrieve drinks for the second party but never came to my table. The waitperson took the second party's order, entered it into the computer,, and stood watching something or someone at the bar. By this time, approximately 20 minutes had passed. I watched the waiter stand at the bar for a few minutes without returning to take my order. I then decided to leave. I was extremely disappointed. I had reviewed the menu and was excited to eat at the Yard. I wish I could recommend this place but I was not given the chance to experience the food. If the waiter happens to read this, I want him to know he missed out on a good tip. read more

Was in town for a conference. The food was fantastic! The wait staff even better. Great conversation and hospitality. I did encounter a problem though. I ordered breakfast via the hotel's app the night before...AND IT NEVER SHOWED UP! I talked to the waitstaff and they were going to report it...to no avail. It was still on my hotel bill. I expected a credit. The staff did make up for it with crab cakes, but I still shouldn't have been charged. Don't have the energy to fight this. I'm subtracting a star because of the issue. read more

Okay! Considering hotel food is usually overpriced and mediocre, this exceeded my expectations. Pro tip 1: 18% gratuity added to parties of 6 or more! Price point was pretty standard compared to normal restaurants that you would go to. APPETIZER: 1) Loaded nachos ($13) // -1 Wayyyy too much sour cream. I actually got really mad, but then cooled down. +/-1 It's a mountain of chips though and can be shared with 8 others. 2) Calamari ($11) // Yum! Nothing can really go wrong with calamari. +/-1 The batter was okay, but it was fried well. SALAD: 1) Chopped salad (13) // We some got granny smith/fruit/nut salad. -1 Mediocre, to say the least. 2) 3 Grain bowls ($13/each) // Yum! This was good. +/-1 It should be easy to make, but these were perfect for lunch. +1 Also pretty decent size portions! ENTREES: 1) Chicken pot pie ($20) with a side of asparagus // Oh! Pretty good. +1 They bring it out in a skillet/cast iron, so it's piping hot. +1 The inside is a bit too gooey for my liking, but it was still yummy on a cold night. +1 Asparagus was cooked well too! 2) Cauliflower ravioli ($19) // -1 Didn't try it, but seemed like a small portion. +/-1 Robert looked like he enjoyed it! -1 Did not come with a side. 3) Crab cakes ($30) // Yum! +1 Really fresh crab. I guess why people say you need to eat crabs in Maryland! +1 Corn was prepared well on the bottom. -1 STEEP price point...this is crazy! 4) Honey BBQ back ribs ($28) + 1 mac n cheese (side) // We chose the full rack- $15 is for half. +1 Ribs were fall of the bone perfect! -1 Too much BBQ sauce...would recommend to ask for on the side. +1 Mac and cheese was yummy! Glad they didn't screw this up. 5) Grilled angus beef burger ($15) + 1 sweet potato fries (side) // We asked for the burger well done. +1 Wow! It retained the juices! +1 Packed burger. For some reason it was really tall.... -1 Not super flavorful, but I think the bacon saved it... +1 Fries were great! +1 This one is a pretty good deal for a standard meal. SIDES: 1) Crispy brussel sprouts ($6) // +1 Yum! Not the best I've had, but glad this didn't mess up. 2) 2 orders of french fries ($6/each) // +1 Yay! Thick cut fries, just the way I like it. Wish it had more cayenne pepper or something. Service: really attentive, and he seemed super nervous for some reason. Near the end of the meal, he just kept disappearing when we really needed water. Overall, I would come here if I was on a business trip, but not if I'm traveling. read more

I grabbed a quick dinner here after a long travel day. Service was prompt and friendly. I got a local IPA and a crab cake sandwich with fries. The crab cake was better than I was expecting--there was mostly lump meat and no breadcrumbs. I didn't love the bun (too buttery, not in a good way)and ended up just pulling the crab cake off and eating it. I'd probably just order a single crab cake if I had it to do over. The fries were great. Happy with the beer. Definitely better than average hotel food. read more

Easily the worst beer purchasing experience I've ever had. Tried to buy a beer on draft and was directed to their "beer wall" that had 4 beers on it. We then had to buy a preloaded card to scan at the wall to get self-serve beer. It took about 10 minutes to get the card, and then another minute or two to pour the beer since the machine was being finicky. The beer was excellent, but would have tasted exactly the same from a traditional tap. Tried to get a refill, and the cards didn't work, so we told the bartender who had to get the manager to reset the system to get our beer. Gave up after 2 beers, so the total came to $15/pint since the cards were prepaid. If I can convince one person to not waste their money on this gimmick beer wall, my life will have purpose. read more

The Yard was a surprisingly good choice for dinner! It had been a long day and we didn't care to go out to an out of hotel restaurant. The Yard was convenient and had lots of tap handles at the bar. We sat at the bar and was greeted by staff that was friendly, accommodating, and bubbling with good energy. We asked questions about the food and beverage menus that were answered by the bar staff. I decided to order a Reuben with seasoned fries and one of the local brews that I was allowed to sample. My coworker ordered an Angus Burger with sweet potato fries. We both hit the food jackpots with our orders!! My Reuben was juicy, tender, and so very tasty!! The fries were also very good! My food came out quickly and hot! There were more fries than two people could consume so I could only eat about one-quarter of them! My Reuben was likely the best I've had in recent memory. The meat was very tender and tasty! The sandwich was so tall that I practically needed to unhinge my jawbone to take a bite!! It may be called The Yard, but the food quality and the wonderful staff are miles ahead of the rest!!! The Yard is an excellent choice for a first class dining experience! read more

Stopped in on a game day to grab a quick bite to eat before catching the Monday night ravens game. I would not advise stopping in here on a game day because it's going to be super crowded and you won't get the level of service that will make you comfortable. When I arrive with my sister we were seated quickly and the waitress came over to take a drink orders. We also chose to order a crab pretzel as an appetizer while we were deciding on what we would have for our main course. Had I known the service would be so slow I would've ordered that main course at that time because we never saw the waitress again. The crab pretzel in the drinks were dropped off by either of a bartender or a bar back. The crab pretzel was OK not a lot of crab meat in the crab dip on it but that's what you really expect from a bar. Drinks were OK and after just for a Stella. My sister ordered a mixed drink and she seem to be happy with it. The only bad part was the level of service I really wanted to get something to eat because I was starving but after waiting over an hour from the time we arrived I just decided to go elsewhere to get something to eat. I may try it out again but definitely not on the game day because they are too overwhelmed I don't have enough staff members on hand to wait on all the customers read more

The oatmeal was a create your own and was really good with some brown sugar. I'm the next time I got the egg white omelet which is highly recommended. It came with a side of breakfast potatoes which were amazing and they gave me a million. And they included avocado and sweet potato NOM. The egg white omelet was huge so I could only eat half. Ken was amazing and very attentive. Checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed.

We had a reservation at 6:00 and arrived at 6:01 just to be told we would have to wait 10 minutes for a table. A half an hour later, we asked again and were told they have more reservations available online than they do seats. Maybe fix that or don't take reservations? They have to know that people going to the Hippodrome, right down the street cannot accommodate delays, which is why someone would make a reservation.
