Quaint and cozy vibe with great service. We felt welcomed as soon as we sat at the bar. We were very satisfied with our breakfast. I'm picky about grits when I go out but the consistency was perfect and the flavor was good. I also ordered the pineapple upside down mimosa. That's a must try for sure.

A Hidden Gem for Brunch Lovers! Certain parts of the area definitely lack good breakfast spots, and in my search, I almost forgot about Maggie's Farm--big mistake! We stopped in and were immediately tempted by their weekly specials (hello, lamb burger!), but we were in the mood for breakfast. We both started with the peach cider beer--so good! Later, the bartender mentioned a pineapple upside-down cocktail, and as soon as I heard "pineapple," I was sold. It was phenomenal. For food, we were starving, so pictures were an afterthought, but the portions were huge, and yet somehow, nothing was left on our plates. The steak and eggs came with a hash and chimichurri sauce--flavorful and perfectly cooked. I had the seafood and grits, which typically comes with rockfish, but the server let me know they were using salmon that day--no complaints here! It was absolute perfection. We wrapped up brunch with a shot (thanks to the bartender!), and I have to say, this was the best brunch I've had in a while. It was my first time sitting inside--cozy space, full-service bar, and fantastic service. Just know seating is tight, but we're friendly, so we didn't mind! Highly recommend checking this spot out.

A solid choice for Lauraville/Hamilton for both lunch and dinner. Rounding up as it's a good local spot, but it's not fancy. Maggie's Farm has been on my list for years and I always assumed it would be this pretty high-end place, but it's pretty casual. The interior is very red and dark kind of velvety like an English pub. They are pretty shortstaffed, but the service was decent considering how busy it was when we went for brunch. They have Zeke's coffee on hand and the first pour was very cold, but they were able to fill with a warm one. The cauliflower bites were way too chonky- the breading was too thick. I did love the small bite of braised pork belly (the fat ratio was too much - 80% fat and then 20% meat). My favorite item was probably the veg hash for brunch. It was served in the most beautiful way on a giant platter. Maggie's to me felt like a local watering hole more than a dining establishment.

Went for breakfast/brunch for the 2nd time and it was yet again Amazing! Our server "Dana" was awesome! Dana was attentive and pleasant, she made our time there so much more enjoyable! Today I had the shrimp and grits and OMG! The shrimps were huge and the dish was packed with flavor ! Everything we ordered was delightful ! The restaurant ambiance gives off "Aunty's house on a Saturday morning, we felt very welcomed! Can't wait to come back!

I came in for a weeknight dinner with a group of girlfriends. The space is very charming! It's decorated in the style of a cozy living room. There was a regular menu and a large list of specials, and our waiter was very helpful in recommending items. He convinced me to get a cocktail from the specials menu and it was wonderful! We had a round of cocktails and shared the brussel sprouts (very crispy and delicious, please order these!) and crab dip. The main dishes all had a bit of Syrian flare, which makes sense when you realize those are the chef's origins. I had the duck breast with bulgur which was good but not amazing. For dessert we had pistachio bread pudding which was amazing. I think overall the apps and desserts were our favorites! I'm looking forward to another opportunity to dine at Maggie's Farm and try more of their menu items.

I've never had anything less than a fantastic meal at Maggie's! We have been for brunch many times and went for dinner for the first time on New Years Eve. Their food is phenomenal and their ambiance is down to earth and fun-- modern simplicity with a hint of nostalgia. Truly, you can't get better food for the price. The staff is so friendly and attentive, and you can tell how hard they work to give customers an excellent experience. We are so glad to live nearby.

AMAZING! From the food to the service and quirky decor. I came with a co-worker while I was in Baltimore for work and we were both blown away. Couldn't stop talking about our experience on the drive back! Upon arrival we were immediately greeted and sat. Our waiters Jimmy & Brent were amazing. Very chill and laid back personalities which gave nothing but sincerity. They were both very attentive and anticipated our needs. The food was amazing. I ordered a simple chicken tortilla soup which was the special for the day and that was spectacular. The soup had the perfect flavor, texture and consistency, I enjoyed every sip. My co worker ordered the roasted chicken dish which they thoroughly enjoyed. We shared a crème brûlée which was also perfect! Not overly sweet and a wonderful light texture. I would absolutely recommend this place. And I will make sure to visit again when I'm in Baltimore.

Came in on a rainy Saturday morning for Brunch. Reservations were easy to make. Very dark and interesting ambiance inside, and service was very good. The menu is cool because there are lots of specials that rotate often. We got the Brussels sprouts to share and I got the farmers plate for my meal. Food was very decadent but tasty. I am excited to come back for drinks and other food options!

When I walked in I was totally shocked. It was really small and the tables and chairs seemed like they were right on top of each other. I ordered the Breakfast Burger it was really good. It was served on a muffin and it had an egg on it. I think the burger was seasoned with some kind of barbecue sauce. It came with home fries. They were good. Not to bad. I'm so bad I can't remember the name of my drink. But it was a little spicy. It was soooo good! If I come back I would want to sit at the bar. Our waitress was really sweet and attentive. Ooooh yeah we also got the crab dip but we ordered this bread with it. Nom nom nom! I wasn't a fan on the pretzels that came with it. I would substitute them for the bread.

I really enjoyed my time here. Food was very flavorful and served hot. We honestly could've shared with how much they give you! Service was friendly and there's a nice intimate ambiance. Weekend brunch was a hit, will definitely try this place again.

Maggie's Farm is the hidden jewel of the Arcadia/Beverly Hills area. Abdul and Dana Sayeed have created a gastronomic and mixacological paradise. The interior dining room is not large, and so getting your needs met in a timely manner is a guarantee. This is the third time I've been and I have never been disappointed. Dana's command of the cocktail is unsurpassed. She makes her own infusions and then will rock your palette with riffs on the classics. She makes incredible classics too. Try her Old Fashioned, or her Negroni for a sip of ellegance or some of her custom cocktails. Not to be outdone, Abdul's creations are equally masterful. From the Duck to the Seafood Grits, to the brunch burger you cannot go wrong. His appetizer of Fried Green tomatos with Shrimp Salad is enough to share, or make a meal of it's own. This secluded spot that is out in the open, occupies a non-descript corner on Hardford Road, and is a treasured find for Sunday Brunch, evening dinner or a casual cocktail after work. They have outdoor seating with a green arbor for a relaxed meal in the cool fall breeze. You cannot go wrong with anything at Maggie's.

We went for the first time to Maggie's Farm for brunch and really enjoyed it. The staff were welcoming and helpful and made great recommendations. The cinnamon roll was delicious, the brussel sprouts were some of the best I've had with a really unique combination of flavors. We also tried the cauliflower but it wasn't quite as good as the rest. The kids had the waffles which they enjoyed. We tried the veggie hash which was excellent, and the hot honey chicken sandwich which was good but the biscuit it came on was soggy which was a bit of a bummer. I would also recommend more pickles to complement the sandwich. All in all it was a very nice brunch and we'll be back for sure.

This is Puerto Rican pitorro, also known as ron cañita, made with care and intention rather than gimmickry. Many local liquor stores now carry the brand, and it is well worth picking up a bottle, but visiting the distillery is an experience in itself. The founder is a fellow Puerto Rican born retired military member, a background I share, and like me, he has put down roots in Maryland. That story is reflected clearly in the brand's own framing, "Puerto Rican born, Maryland made." The space feels grounded and unpretentious, and that sensibility carries through to the hospitality. We arrived late on a Saturday and were still welcomed warmly, never rushed. We were taken care of by the founder's daughter, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. She guided us through a flight that included the traditional pitorro, almond, pineapple, coffee, coconut chai, and several seasonal offerings. The flavors were thoughtful and well balanced; even the infused expressions retained a clear rum backbone rather than drifting into novelty. We enjoyed them enough to leave with several bottles. This is artisanal pitorro done right, rooted in Puerto Rican tradition and confidently made in Maryland. Buying it locally is convenient, but going to the distillery is where the people, the story, and the spirit fully come together.

Whether sitting at the bar or at their super comfy couches, it's very inviting to stay awhile. Drinks - Old Line specializes in two spirits: rum and whiskey. Don't be fooled; they have varieties of those two options in terms of aging and blending process for a grand total of five products. When I went, $15 got us a flight of every spirit they produce - and they don't skimp! I thought it would be a little 1/2 oz tasting, but this was just shy of a full shot each, so I ended up sharing with my companions. Speaking of flights, they also offer flights by style. For example, if you are more of a rum person, they have a flight of their rums as well as some from other local distilleries. Ditto for the whiskeys. A nice touch promoting competitors in the spirit of... well, spirits! The cocktails were great. I got a daiquiri - a proper daiquiri with lime and rum. Not to hate on a spiked strawberry smoothie, but this is the OG daiquiri (and the better one, IMHO). I also split the Liberty Risk, made with their Navy Strength cask rum, with my companions. They limit you to one because it is STRONG. Suffice it to say I ended up staying a little longer than originally planned. Overall, they have six regular cocktails and one or two specials. They also offer a couple of local beers on tap, but we came for the spirits. If you enjoyed the cocktails, they sell the Old Line spirits as well as some bar tools so you can try your hand at home. The prices aren't too bad for what it is and service is fast and friendly. I look forward to coming back!

I don't drink, and in the past Mike has always taken great care of me and understood that. This was my first time dealing with the other bartenders, and unfortunately, it didn't go well. When I sat at a table and tried to order, the bartender wouldn't make eye contact and never came back after I mentioned that I don't drink. He focused on everyone else around me instead. I moved to the bar hoping things would improve, but it was more of the same--being looked past and ignored. The kindest moment of the night actually came from the chef, who brought my cauliflower bites out himself, still piping hot. He confirmed they were mine, smiled, set them down, and headed back to the kitchen. I had ordered buffalo bites, but they came out plain, and it took some effort to get the bartender's attention just to ask for the sauce--though once I had it, the bites were truly delicious. By then I was over it, especially as I watched him continue to cater to everyone else. I ate and waited for my bill. It was karaoke night, so I sang a few songs to pass the time, but still no check. Eventually, I managed to get the (still nameless) bartender to bring it, and I left. I've been here before and usually enjoy the place, but this visit wasn't great. My brother said he likes it because it's unpretentious and the regulars who frequent the bar are usually locals. He said it's always a good time as the people are cool and the drinks are fantastic. We actually stopped in for a midday cocktail on a Sunday afternoon. There were a few people there but not too many due to the time of day. We sat at the bar and an older gentleman took our order.
