The last time I visited this establishment, they made my wrap wrong. It was supposed to have avocado and they forgot to include it. A nice waitress took the order back to the kitchen. Note, my daughter had put ketchup on plate before realizing the oversight. So, when the MANAGER brought the food back, I'm thinking it was a show of good faith given the error. Nope. He had a smug attitude and puts the plate on the table where I immediately notice the original plate was reused because it had the ketchup smear. I asked him if this was the same sent back plate of food and he said "yes" and said the added the avocado. They UNWRAPPED the original wrap and just added the avocado and brought the entire plate back. I immediately questioned how that follows food handling guidelines. If they weren't going to redo the order, they could have just brought avocado slices to the table! The MANAGER had a very dismissive, RUDE attitude and so I sent everything back and left. I did tip the waitress cash because she was great and had got us drinks by that point. Again, she was nice and side-eyed the manager agreeing what he did was not acceptable. Apparently he also had a rep for being rude and nasty. I will never eat there again. You have a kitchen with seafood and meats and have no food handling controls? Yeah, miss me with the risk of food poisoning or cross-contamination. No thank you! You're rude to customers and have no standards? Whoever runs the kitchen should know better as should the manager. The service is always great, and having a big party is never a problem. The servers are attentive and organized, making it easy to pay for what you got at the end of your day at Lee's. With TVs everywhere, you can expect a lively crowd. The firecracker tots were the perfect nibble with our drinks for the afternoon and you can never go wrong with fries and ranch. When going out in Canton, I always uber, as I don't live walking distance and I know parking can be hard. However, with Lee's being located in such a fun area, you can easily bar hop and have the best time. Lee's on a nice, spring day is such a vibe. Came here for a quick lunch bite with friends, but it's also one of my favorite local spots to watch sports at. The decor inside is so cute and on theme. Service is always fast and the servers are very personable. I LOVE their nachos and get them almost every time I come, but I'm just a nacho lover in general. Definitely big enough to share with multiple people. Tried the Brussel sprouts for the first time and I really enjoyed the crispiness and the savory flavors. They have multiple floors and the top has great views of the city. The crab Rangoon egg rolls were really good, with actual crab lump and not too much cream cheese. The chorizo nachos- yum! Lots of kick and cheese- the best! and the firecracker tots were alright- just needed a little more chicken on top. Drink specials are good, $2 off beers, wine, cocktails. The beer QR code didn't work for us so we had to get up and look at the tap each time we ordered if we wanted something different. A print out would've been handy. I came here on a late Sunday afternoon and sat out on the patio, which is dog friendly. They have a variety of food and drinks. They gave my dog a water bowl, which I thought was very considerate. They do charge a 4% service fee for sitting outside on the patio. The tables outside are a bit slanted due to the streets. The service was very good. Our server checked in on us if there was anything we needed and the food came out in reasonable time. I ordered one of their house favorites: the roasted brussels sprouts ($14) which had mascarpone cheese, pistachios, and balsamic vinegar in it. I thought that it did lack acidity and seasoning compared to the first time that I got it here. The Thai Salmon ($23) tasted good. I was very impressed with how crispy the skin was despite the sauce on top. I enjoyed the Lee's local oysters. I've been here for happy hour where they're $0.75. When it's not happy hour, they're $2.25, which is still pretty reasonably priced. The half and half crab soup ($10) was perfect. It had a generous amount of crab meat with vegetables. The Aperol Spritz here was only $10. I think the Prosecco that they used was a bit off, but it was still quite refreshing. The Cucumber Press cocktail ($9) was Way too sour. I came in today for Lee's oyster 75 cent happy hour on Friday 11am-6pm, and I just want to say it did not disappoint! The service was very quick and my sever was a sweetheart, I didn't get her name but she told be she just started working there! So shout out to her. The vibe in there was amazing, they played so many 2010's hits and the place is very clean. The oysters??? It wasn't packed on the Wednesday I went, so service was swift, plus the bartender seemed super cool. I ordered steamed shrimp and fries, + a beer. I've been to Lee's before and it's always been good but last night was beyond previous experiences. My friend I went for the Eagles-Giants game and the place was popping! We sat down at the bar at the door, and ordered oysters (well just me), the Philly cheese steak rolls and Brussels sprouts and everything came out perfects the oysters were plump and juicy, Brussels sprouts crisp and flavorful and the Philly cheese steak rolls were cheesy and perfect. But really what made the experience great was the bartender Katie, and her manager, Joe. She recommended food for us to try and when she couldn't provide and answer, she would ask fellow bartenders what their favorite sandwiches were. Joe came over introduced himself and shook our hands and we had an amazing conversation, even with a full bar. The Shore Bird Club was amazing and it was huge! you'd have to be part python or be able to dislocat your jaw just to bite into it! They really made us feel welcomed and the drinks they made were very good! It was a busy night and Katie was so polite and even at close would come over and talk with us. I don't normally write these reviews but Katie and Joe really went out of their way to make the night very fun so I hope they get to see this. We were super excited to come here since we live within walking distance. My sister, husband and I came here for dinner one night when my sister was in town. My sister and husband loves oysters. They have 50 cents oyster for Happy Hour, and my sister/husband got a bunch. They said they were good. We also got the Chesapeake roasted oysters, the burger with a crabcake, fish and chips, the crab soup, and the French dip grilled cheese. The food took a long time to get to us and honestly, it was not worth the wait. The Chesapeake roasted oysters were not worth the wait or price. They were INCREDIBLY dry and inedible. Even with us trying to dig out the oysters, we couldn't really get it out. It was not good. The burger was okay, but it had so much sauce in it, it just overwhelmed any other flavor. The fries that came with the burger were eh. There were a lot of the small end/crispy parts, not my thing. My husband said the fish and chips were average. The grilled cheese was the star. We actually noticed another table had gotten it, and it smelled so good, we added it on. It was the only item we truly enjoyed. Our waiter was super nice. But the overall vibe of the place was a little weird and not as welcoming as we were hoping. This was my second time here for a Friday HH and again it did not disappoint. We love supporting local businesses and by far is the most community focused established I've been to in a while. We loved the oysters, they were fresh and delicious. We also had the poke tuna bowl and that was amazing. I ate it so fast I forgot to take a photo of it . I wasn't too crazy about the Brussel sprouts, they were ok. I wouldn't order them again. I can't describe why I didn't like them, maybe the flavor? But everything else was great. The oysters are always amazing here. Fresh, briny, delicious. OK. I have had my share of Old Bay wings...but we were introduced this time to...HONEY OLD BAY WINGS. Its like owning a Ferrari, then gold plating it. It is a mad idea, but a damn delicious one. Down in Texas we do a Mexican version of the street corn called elote. The corn at Lee's should be called the holé chit dats good. The bisque. Creamy, coat the back of a spoon good. Great chunks of crab in it as well. It might be a little off the beaten path in BMore.
