We came here specifically for bottomless mimosas but unfortunately they weren't even doing them because of trivia. While this was frustrating, we stayed anyways for brunch. We sat outside because the trivia was really loud and we weren't playing. The food was good! I enjoyed the french dip cheesesteak i ate the entire sandwich. My friends enjoyed the wraps and the hot cakes were yummy! The server seemed flustered and had lots of issues splitting checks. Knotty Pine is your typical dive bar, nondescript but clean. I was able to sit right away at the bar, just inside the front door. The bartender immediately greeted me and the folks I was with and got us menus. I was super hungry but not in the mood for bar food, so I went with the shrimp stir fry, asked for it extra spicy if possible. I was super excited about it, especially once it arrived, it looked so good! I couldn't wait to dig in. And man, that stir fry tasted like it has been cooked in pancake syrup. It was SO SWEET, not anything I was trying to eat for an entree. Now, I ended up eating all of it because I was hungry, but that was a huge fail for me. Wasn't even remotely spicy. I was out and about today, saw a post on Facebook about this bar having crabs on Sunday, so I thought that I'll give it a try. I hadn't had crabs in years, and I have been dying to get some in my new city since moving here 2 years ago, I am so glad I stopped here. OMG I will be a regular here, the crabs were amazing, seasoned very well.....lots of seasoning just the way I like it. The crabs are a nice size and are $4 a crab... I had 3 of them with butter and vinegar, I also requested a pair of plastic gloves which they gave me with a smile, so I was really able to dig in and not worry about my hands smelling afterwards. I didn't get a drink but will be when I visit next week, lol read more

Wanted to give them a try as I've been seeing their posts on Facebook recently. Wednesday's we're $20 for two burgers and a 6 pack beer. The food was simple but tasty and just what I wanted. The chips that came with the burger were homemade and had a great crunch but were way too salty. We got a make your own and the veggie burger. Both good. I have never been to Knotty Pine pre-pandemic but will definitely seek them out now. My niece and I were perusing area bars/restaurants to treat ourselves after a hard day's work of spring cleaning, and were excited by the knotty pine burger and decided to go for it. We ordered cocktails (delicious orange crushes, a Black-eyed Susan, and the blueberry lemonade), the burger with fries and the duck wontons. Everything was fabulous! The burger was delicious, the drinks were fresh and strong, and as promised by the person who took my order, the duck wontons were to die for. The accompanying sauce was a little spicy for me so I just grabbed some sweet chili sauce from my fridge and had at them! Came at 11 pm for food and drinks since online stated they were open and because we observed people sitting outside. We walk in the bartender looks at the clock then looks at us and ask if she can help us. So I ask if the kitchen is closed and was informed that the kitchen closed at 9:30pm. Great place to stop on a bike ride. I was solo on this one. Hung outside under tent & enjoyed a nice brew. Another place that makes city living so cool. Looking forward to another visit soon. I will bring my biking partner next time. Maybe order some wings. read more

This is our corner bar. We have had 100 wonderful meals here. The food is consistently good. I think I've had everything on the menu at this point, but favorites include the crab balls, the KP wrap, and the bacon cheese burger flatbread. I love when they have mussels, or cream of crab on special. They have a good variety for a local spot. The staff is friendly, accurate in taking orders in person and on the phone, and attentive. They've gone above and beyond in many ways to help us over the years. They even picked up a package from our stoop that was delivered early for us one day. Besides the super close proximity to where we live, this is probably one of our, if not the, favorite local neighborhood bars in the city. We're regulars now. It's super casual, the people and staff are always nice, and everyone knows everyone. Not too mention the food is always fantastic and the prices are always reasonable or cheap. There's always specials during the week & even on Sunday's (Crabs). You can't beat it anywhere else. It's everything you want in a neighborhood corner pub & then some.. Disappointing from beginning to end. They didn't have my reservation saved but did accommodate us with chairs at our friend's table. Service was very slow, had to remind the staff for water, our drinks, silverware and the corn on the cob that came with the overcooked, tiny crabs. Nothing was ever cleared from the table (we were eating crabs) and then the bill was wrong and I was overcharged. They did fix the bill and the waitress was understanding. Odd experience. Ordered the tuna tacos. On menu it stated blackened tuna with mango, avocado, and lime crema. Opened carry out container and I received raw tuna chucks smothered in chili paste with a side of plain flavorless rice. Meal was inedible. Totally disappointed. read more

Local spot in Brewers Hill with a new chef that is top notch! Very dog friendly outside.. they have bowls and treats plus a lot of dog friends. Cheap prices on food and drinks even for specials. I have a hard time picking which special I want to try each time I'm here. My favorite go to are the burgers or the wings.. you won't be disappointed. One of my top 5 most disappointing dining 'experiences.' Attempted to grab a bite to eat before my nieces first day of school. Service started with a poor attitude female bartender, getting the vibe she doesn't bode well with female clientele. We ended up leaving before even getting our food. Left some cash for the two items actually served to us. We waited over an hour for the rest and never came, only to find out the order was not put in, at all. Service offered to pay for the app (the one item we got and cheapest on bill), still willing to wait it out for the rest considering we were all very hungry by then... Still didn't come 20 minutes later. The crazy thing is the service did not seem at all to think a thing of this scenario unfolding. Seems like the typical hole in the wall Baltimore bar where everyone has abuse problems and doesn't actually care about the establishment. Seems the main concern was getting customers drunk, as not one customer around us got low on alcohol but somehow our entire order was forgotten. Limited drink selection, but great prices and the food is hit or miss. But, when it's a hit it's a home run! Came here last night to watch the O's game. Nice corner bar in the neighborhood. So the walls are modern and white. The bartender told us that there was a fire a few years ago and the only thing that remained was the actual bar itself. But it used to be all knotty pine walls. Hence the name. It's a testament to the miracle of a good bar because all along the bar top are old baseball cards set under glass. Great piece of sports nostalgia there and it survived. Nice. They have a decent size menu and it's pretty good for bar food. Onion rings and burger were a bit overdone but I'm willing to give them another shot. This is a pretty local place and it's far enough removed from where the kids hang out so if you want to just relax and chill and watch the game then this place will probably suit your needs.
