It was my first time coming here and I already know I'll be a regular! It's a classic cool dive bar with amazing food and incredibly friendly staff. Everything we had last night was so amazing. I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes, they are a huge portion and the most unique twist on crab + fried green tomatoes I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. I've heard Silk's has some legendary cheesesteaks, and after last night, I know why! The classic Silk's cheesesteak was stuffed, piping hot, with plenty of cheese, pepper, and onion. I split with my fiancée and I'm coming back just so I can have a cheesesteak all to myself. We also shared the mushroom Swiss burger, which was a classic burger that was really tasty, but nothing to write home about. The fries, however, are seriously some of the best fries I've had in Baltimore. They're a fun curly shape, they're crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and they give you a huge portion.

Memphis mac n cheese and shrimp and grits!

4 of us met up on a Saturday around 5pm for dinner and WOW. The bartender doubles as the waiter, so that service was a tad slow, but he did a good job checking in on us. He was happy to help us watch the football game we wanted. The menu is straight forward and accessed via QR code. In total at the table, we ordered the Memphis Mac n Cheese, Shrimp and Grits, and 2 burgers. Everyone devoured their entire meals - talk about delicious. I had the mac n cheese and it was the perfect amount of creamy. There was a good amount of the BBQ pork which was nice. The shrimp and grits were delish too with the sausage mixed in. I don't normally like grits but the sauce and cheese made it delectable. They have a good amount of beers on tap and a full bar. I would happily come here again. Note that this is in a typical corner store type place for the city, so parking is a premium, but we had no issues parking nearly in front of the restaurant at the hour.

Great food, awesome beer! I love the vibe most of all. Cool people, nice bar. Everyone seems to know everyone but also welcomes strangers.

Honey old bay and hot silks wings. Like a buffalo bbq wing

Wings were good, sauce was fire on both styles of wings. Same quality as kislings, simple double deep fry with some bomb sauces put on. Wish both places did a little more with the wing, but can't beat the sauce

    SO. MUCH. DRESSING.

I am disappointed to report that after multiple visits over the last year, silks seems to be going a bit downhill. The bartender is often so hungover that it negatively affects the service, or the place is too crowded with only one bartender, or the food is gross. The fries are not good anymore. No seasoning and weren't fresh. I got a Cesar salad so drenched in dressing that I couldn't eat it. It's just an alright corner bar now. I prefer Hudson stackhouse or myth and moonshine, both nearby.

Chicken and waffles & chocolate caramel banana pancakes

Update: we just went to brunch at silks for the first time and it blew my mind! Fave chicken and waffles in the city now. Everything was amazing, breakfast cheesesteak, banana caramel chocolate pancakes!? Come on. Wow. Bartender/server was also so attentive and friendly. Can't wait to come back ASAP. Silks is our new go to happy hour spot! We were just there today and the bartender was so friendly and attentive. We have had the wings before but had to order them again. each time I am reminded how awesome they are, large, crispy and still juicy. Love that honey old bay! We saw someone else at the bar with the buffalo chicken tenders and had to o those too, so big and delicious! Silks is the only bar I know that has sidewinder fries and they are a Game Changer. Sweet potato fries are really good too, thicker than most other places. The pork mac & cheese should not be missed and the cheesesteak with wiz is so bomb! (Many places don't have the wiz and they always disappoint) Can't beat $1 domestics at happy Hour. We will be back very soon!

Having a great time at silks courtesy of great bartender Jenna. Loved the chicken cheesesteak and big G sandwich. Great selection of bombs and natural light on tap.

Instead of applying the BOGO to each pair, they only removed the cheapest rolls overall, which made the "BOGO" deal feel misleading. Service also wasn't great. We asked our bartender for the check, she said okay, then walked away to eat and talk with other customers, so we had to ask another bartender to help us. Good sushi, but the promotion and service left a bad impression.

After 10 minutes of trying to get a bartender's or waiter's attention, we left. Months, later, we were craving sushi and decided to try again. This time we sat at the bar which is spacious enough and were helped immediately. Even though we wanted sushi, I couldn't resist the cheesesteak eggroll which was very good and came out hot. While it was a little oily, it was still tasty and enjoyable. We order 3 rolls and the fried Oreos to go and while I recommend the Oreos and cheesesteak eggrolls, I can't recommend the sushi here. The spicy tuna tasted canned, and the trio roll was way too fishy. The volcano was the best, but also just okay. You also don't get any ginger with your rolls. I think this place is better as a regular bar, but for an advertised sushi spot, it doesn't have great sushi.

The service is always great, and having a big party is never a problem. The servers are attentive and organized, making it easy to pay for what you got at the end of your day at Lee's. When going out in Canton, I always uber, as I don't live walking distance and I know parking can be hard. However, with Lee's being located in such a fun area, you can easily bar hop and have the best time. I hope to go back to Lee's soon for their one of their oyster events and even enjoy other delicious menu items.

Note, my daughter had put ketchup on plate before realizing the oversight. So, when the MANAGER brought the food back, I'm thinking it was a show of good faith given the error. Nope. He had a smug attitude and puts the plate on the table where I immediately notice the original plate was reused because it had the ketchup smear. I asked him if this was the same sent back plate of food and he said "yes" and said the added the avocado. They UNWRAPPED the original wrap and just added the avocado and brought the entire plate back. I immediately questioned how that follows food handling guidelines. If they weren't going to redo the order, they could have just brought avocado slices to the table! The MANAGER had a very dismissive, RUDE attitude and so I sent everything back and left. I did tip the waitress cash because she was great and had got us drinks by that point. Again, she was nice and side-eyed the manager agreeing what he did was not acceptable. Apparently he also had a rep for being rude and nasty. I will never eat there again. You have a kitchen with seafood and meats and have no food handling controls? Yeah, miss me with the risk of food poisoning or cross-contamination. No thank you! You're rude to customers and have no standards? Whoever runs the kitchen should know better as should the manager. I can only imagine what else goes on in that kitchen. Dine there at your own risk.

The Rockefeller oysters were the best I have had yet... the spinach and cheese stuffing was absolutely delicious. Good people watching--out the window to the folks outside below, but also into the kitchen just behind us. We observed a very well-run establishment. Several staff including the manager, who had a great sense of humor and kind-spiritedness, stopped by to check on us. We didnt end up ordering brunch since items on the other menus won us over very quixkly: the crab cake eggrolls (appetizer) and the crab grilled cheese (lunch). Being ambitious, we did ask the server to leave the menu behind, just in case. There was so much deliciousness to choose from But alas, we were satiated. To drink, we skipped the bottomless Mimosa and Bloody Mary and opted instead for a Blood Orange Margarita (which was more berry-like in color) and a Passion Fruit Mezcal Sour. Both were a tad sweet for our preference but very good otherwise. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.
