The Dive had been on my list of restaurants to try forever and I'm so glad we finally made it there! Every dish we ordered was fantastic. My pizza-obsessed husband even said the double pepperoni pie was one of the best he's had in Baltimore! The retro vibes are incredible and we loved all of the trinkets around the restaurant!

I came here for happy hour around 4:30 and absolutely loved the vibe of this place. Great happy hour deals, $4 beers and $7 happy meals were a nice play on mcdonalds. The booths felt like old school taco bell tables. The menu is small but unique and you can tell everything is made fresh. All of the food was delicious. Especially the dorito pizza... omg such a fun blend of flavors. The fried pickles were crunchy. Wings were flavorful. Great service as well. I would definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon.

I came with a few friends to have drinks and catch up, and we had a fantastic time! The service was great, both servers were attentive and made sure we were taken care of all night. We scooted in right before happy hour ended, and the deals were good, but their regular priced cocktails do not break the bank! To start, we had the espresso martinis and they were classic and delicious. Next I had the Pinball Wizard (x3), it was so fresh and melon-y. My friends had the Red Devil and the Dirty Birdie martini. I cannot wait to come back specifically for the martini, it was filthy, salty, and sooo so so good. We also had the pickle fries, which were good but a bit thin so it was a lot of fried and not a lot of pickle. We split the cheese and pepperoni pizzas and they were thin, perfectly baked, and easy to eat.

A funky neighborhood diner. My friend and I came here for some food and drinks at the bar. We ordered their Pinball Wizard and Wind Surfer on Acid cocktails which were both refreshing. We got food off their happy hour menu - A Miss Chicken for me and a Royale for my friend which both came with fries. Our items were decent and came out on kiddie plates (cute, hence the "happy meal" names). Service was good and food was pretty decent, all at a reasonable price.

This has become more and more of a regular spot for me especially on a bar crawl. Upon entering, it feels cozy, fun, and wholesome. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, giving you that kind Baltimorean charm. The food was delicious! I got the eggplant pizza, I HIGHLY recommend! In the back you can play Guitar Hero, so that is a fun thing to do while hanging at the pub. I like bringing friends from out of town here so they can get a taste of the unique, fun pub scene especially since the drinking cups are so cute here!

Now how this place slip from under my belt?! Small neighborhood bar with oldies but goodies items. I forgot to take a pic but their water glasses had the Smurfs on them.. THEN we were told we could play Pac-Man at the bar... they're so lucky it was the end of my night cause I would have spent hours in there sipping my drink and playing the game. Ordered a pizza and asked well done, and it was overly done. Not blaming them cause that's what I get lol but when I come in here again I'll just get the pizza as it comes. Can't wait to come back!

    So cute!

Cute neighborhood bar! We went for trivia and the drinks and food were good. We had the pepperoni pizza and arugula salad. We sat the bar due to limited seating but the service was good. Get there early if going for trivia as it fills up quickly! I'll def be back.

Cool dive bar, cheap drinks, friendly bartender and nice hangout spot. Id recommend getting food somewhere else. Hotdog was terrible, pizza was even worst. Felt like I was trying to take a bite off a brick, it was so hard and not tasty at all, some of our slices were burnt too, didn't even eat them

Yelp fam! My wife and I had been looking for a new spot to call out happy hour home. After auditioning a few places we found it at the Dive! The Dive has some of the best Food & Drinks you can find in Baltimore. -the Pizza selection & specials are great -the happy hour is creative & cool - Sportsman & Happy Meal!!-IYKYK -cheesesteak special!!!! - the smashburger is by far a standard on the menu Pro tip*** ask about the rotating frozen drinks*** The inside is cool and has a 80's- 90's vibe, cartoon cups & lots of seating options. The staff there is amazing, every time I go in for a date with my wife or to catch a game. Everyone is chill, helpful & attentive. This bar is truly one of my Favorites. Check it out!!!!

The Dive lives up to its name! It has a very cozy, retro feel and is definitely very laid back. We came in in a Friday evening and there were plenty of booths and tables available. They have some fun cocktails and seasonal specials. I unfortunately had eaten a large lunch and still had dinner plans so did not get to try a lot of their menu. I want to go back when I am hungry because they have a lot of fun sandwiches and yummy pizzas! We did try the fried pickles and I tried a little of my friend's BLT chicken sandwich. Both delicious! They also have soft serve which is unique. We all got the peanut butter/maple swirl. Can't wait for my return trip to actually try more food!!

This was more of 3.5 stars for me than a straight 4 or straight 3. We walked in on a Friday night. It appeared to be seat yourself, so we grabbed a table, and our server promptly brought a menu over along with water in very cool glasses. (In my opinion, lol). They were running restaurant week specials, and looking over to the table next to us, we knew we would just be splitting a pizza from the portions of it. So we got the summer special Corny pizza and the fried pickles to share. Now, here's the problem. Everything was piping hot and fresh, so it points on that, but everything was way way too salty. The salt level on the fried pickles pretty much blew my palate out, and then the pizza afterward was pretty salty, too, in my opinion. And I'm not sure the combo of corn, old bay, scallions, and gojuchang quite worked for me. Alas. Service was good, and the interior decor and vibes were cool. I might revisit some day and try one of their normal pizzas.

Second time here and we will always go back!!! The service is excellent! The drinks great! Haven't had food here yet. Love the unique glassware, it's fun and nostalgic.

Chickpeas were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside

I was so impressed by the dive! The decor was eclectic and colorful which already put me in a good mood when I walked in. All of the staff was super nice! We came for drinks and decided to get food because our appetizers were so good. The disco fries were so delicious. I usually don't like gravy on fries but these had just the right amount of sauce that the fries were still crispy in parts. The chickpeas were crispy and soft at the same time. The pizzas were delicious. Apparently they have a new daily pizza and cheesesteak special every day! I will definitely be back for a low key meal or drinks!

I wish I had the confidence of the terrible people in politics and workplaces who either lie about…read moretheir skills or are too ignorant to even be aware of their many flaws. Maybe I take Yelp too seriously. But it's a bummer when I see a review that praises the food, service and decor then rates 3 stars. (To re-use my joke, "3 out of 5 on Yelp isn't good, it isn't a work performance review). I have struggled with my Duda's review since August since I would strongly recommend it but I'm also price-cautious. To make matters worse I don't remember the exact crab market price but it was possibly $31 or $32 for one and low $50s for two (fact-checkers welcome). The crab cake was superb. All killer, no filler. The potato salad was very good. While I didn't love the price/volume I can't claim expertise on market prices and If you look at the drink prices this is clearly not a ripoff place. Possibly it's a better deal if you're with a group and can split some apps. In line with my slow education that Baltimore has more than the Inner Harbor, Duda's had a spectacular sense of place. It was a rare experience in feeling like a true locals place that is friendly to tourists. There's no record scratch and "you ain't from around here." The waiter was excellent and was impressively emphatic about the crab cakes.

I'm not much of a drinker, so I just got an Unsweetened Iced Tea, which came with a lemon wedge and different sugar packets. They do have a large variety of drinks and seasonal specialties. The Chili Bake was piping hot! A couple croutons were a bit stale, but good overall. I love the textures and flavor. The Crab Cake (MP of the day was $30.99) with Potato Salad (and cocktail sauce - can also get tartar sauce) is a big ball of lump crab. It's a bit too crispy for me, but would definitely be good for most people. The potato salad had great texture. A chill spot to hit for good food (and drinks!)

As Ruth C's review states we went on an off day when the taps weren't working (they have six beers on draft). The bartender (owner, I believe) got us bottles of cider and cans of natty boh and then watched us like a hawk. This lady must have the mortgage paid off on the bar because she was not shy in telling us what to do. We were clearly under her roof. Ok the last few comments, may have not come out of her mouth and I just projected that but you get the gist of it. I don't know about you but I kind of prefer my bohs without the kvetching. I'm sure she does it as a good, character-building thing, bless her heart. About the bar called bar. It's a true dive. It's not fancy. We asked the bartender, "what's the address of the place? Is this Lancaster St?" She says, "It's Lancaster yes, but I don't know." That sealed the effing deal on the complete and total awesomeness of the place (this place called bar). Random oddities strewn about on the walls. Baltimoreans at its finest. It felt like it was someone's house when the bar wasn't open, which is fine with me man. About five minutes later the bartender says to me, "it's 1718 Lancaster." That is service people. And a bartender willing to learn. Did you know that Maryland is home to the smartest people in America? We were there on a Wednesday night last week. Maybe the crowd that night was skewed toward mid-forties, but we younged up the place. Various crowds and groups coming in and out keeping the vibe fresh. My pool partner and I won (twice) so maybe I am still high from that. Man I am feeling my biceps. We paid $2.00 for our Natty Bohs which made me squint my eyes (I am shocked when Natty Boh is ever over $0.50 but some people that I know have recently begun to question my grip on reality). I think people should come here more.
