We were staying in Baltimore for the weekend and decided to come over to Fell's Point for a few hours on Sunday. This place looked appealing for lunch so we decided to give it a try for lunch around 11:30. At that time they had both the brunch and lunch menus available. The lunch menu had plenty of appetizers, soups, salads, burgers and other sandwiches and entrees. I decided to go with the Cobb salad. It looked and tasted great. It had blackened shrimp, crab, eggs, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce with an old bay dressing. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak with chips. It was a nice size sandwich and tasted good. Service was fairly quick.

A nice spot right in the heart of Fells Point. Great vibes, plenty of tv's to watch games and the service was pretty quick and attentive. I had a burger with lettuce, onion and bacon and a side of fries. My friend had a crab cake sandwich and chips and said it was cooked to perfection.

$5 marg Mondays with choice of salt or tajin on the rim. Pretty outdoor area looking over the water. I got the Maryland crab soup which is a tomato soup base. It tastes good but I wish I got the cream of crab soup instead. We also got tacos to share for our table of 3.

'Twas visiting my old coworker upon his move to downtown Balto, and he said we shall meet on the waterfront and find a place for dinner. We met right in front of a nice sunset view and a patio belonging to one Kooper's Tavern. I offer the following in favor of Kooper's: A very strong on-tap beer selection, backed up by bottles if you really need - but you don't. Small but varied food menu. Crab soup was packed with crab meat from top to bottom. Outdoor seating if you want, a nice dark interior with televisions to set the mood of an upscale bar inside more reminiscent of overseas. Friendly chatting with the bartender for a good portion of the evening. Just a couple of downsides here. The crab soup was a bit saltier than I'd like, although that may be the way people like it. The crabcake was far from the meatiest I've had, though at least not the breadiest. Somewhere in the middle, and a little small for the price point I felt. Verdict: Not perfect, but when you're in Fells Point, do you really expect more than you'll get here? I wouldn't, and I'm glad I Kooped.

My friend and I stopped in one weekend afternoon to partake a couple of margaritas for early happy hour. Good prices, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The Ritas were good, so we could possibly hop in another time for grub.

Kooper's Tavern definitely brings the vibes--warm, lively, and exactly what you expect from a Fells Point staple. The service was solid, and we kicked things off with a couple of extra dirty martinis and a glass of wine. All the drinks were excellent (the martinis especially hit the spot). For a starter, we tried the crab dip. It had good flavor but was just okay overall--mostly because it was surprisingly light on actual crab. Same story with the Maryland crab soup and cream of crab soup "half & half" that the bartender recommended. Fun idea, decent flavor, but again... where's the crab? The star of the night was the Ronan burger. Cooked medium rare exactly as ordered, and honestly one of the better burgers we've had in a while--juicy, flavorful, and done perfectly. Overall, Kooper's has a great atmosphere and strong drinks, but the crab dishes were a letdown, especially in a city known for doing crab right. Not sure if we'll be back, since there are plenty of spots in Baltimore where the crab dishes actually deliver the crab meat you expect.

We stopped in for a drink and a bite to eat. Service was great; our server was friendly and attentive. I loved the dog themed decor! Very cute. We chose to share a bowl of chili which came with tortilla chips. The chili was unique in that it had a bit of a sweet flavor. At first I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but after a couple of bites I decided I liked it and it worked well with the kick of spice. My bf loved it. It hit the spot on a chilly night. Overall, this is a fun spot to check out and I'll return for sure.

When the sun is shining and it's warm outside nothing hits better than enjoying an orange crush and a crab cake in Baltimore. I promise you! I used to frequent Kooper's Tavern a lot when I used to live in Baltimore and I'm glad to report that nothing has changed. Their crab cakes and crab cake sandwiches still hit (not the best in the city but good) and the orange crushes are delicious. Everything is priced well in my opinion and I love that they have outside seating options. Staff was fine, we did feel forgotten about a couple of times but I can imagine that's because of the back and forth that the server has to do as well as they may have been a little short staffed on this day that we came. All in all, highly recommend checking out Kooper's Tavern in Fells point on the next nice day. It's right by the water.

A group of us came here from work for a team lunch. We were greeted upon entering and seated upstairs. We all put in our orders with the server and someone got the Nachos appetizer to share with the table. It was a huge dish and everyone was able to enjoy some of it. The chips were crispy and had lots of flavor with the melted cheese, bell peppers, onions, and jalapeño peppers. I really enjoyed the Fish Tacos I got. They were perfectly cooked and the jalapeño ranch was so flavorful. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dish. I've been here a couple times in the past but it had been a while so it was nice to come back and have a great experience again. A casual bar style restaurant with friendly staff and good food.

This place was a very low key vibe in fells point. I dropped in for a quick lunch, and I might return to see what they have on their brunch menu. GLOWS: -Service at the upstairs bar was friendly and efficient -There is a variety of seating throughout the two levels despite the restaurant being very small -They also have a brunch menu that I would check out in the future. GROWS: -I was not impressed with the turkey burger overall. I didn't get it the way it came, so I'll give some grace there, but it just didn't have a toasted bread, a flavorful patty, or any of the elements that take a burger to the next level.

Came here for a little bite to eat for lunch. I ordered the Crab Cake with fries. The crab cake has strong crab taste and the fries are extra crispy. Service was quick and waitress was attentive. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

My friends and I walked into Koopers with no reservation. They assembled up nicely at the bar upstairs where service wise we were well taken care of. The bartender was amazing. I would come see her again no problem. The food was just ok. I heard great things about the burgers. I am currently on a mission to locate the best in the city so I happily ordered one that menu wise sounded delicious. I got the morning Mcguiness. The cook on it was perfect. Medium cook with pretty soft bread. For me the problem was the flavor. It lacked a little in the area. It also didn't have any sauce on it. The fried eggs could have easily been an over easy to create more flavor. Thankfully I had ketchup on my fries and was able to dip my otherwise dry burger. I prefer a hand cut fry but theirs weren't too bad. All in all, I will be continuing my quest.

Thankfully, we didn't have a long wait at all (for 2 people). Selections: 1) Large lemonades - Generous size and nice flavor. My buddy had a flavored lemonade and mentioned it didn't have much of the other flavor. Otherwise, they were decent lemonades. 2) As a native NYer, I love a messy burger. These were not that. They were neatly layered and the condiments used, yielded minimal flavor. These burgers required some doctoring up. 2a) The Bean: Vegetarian chipotle black bean burger w/ cheese & bacon w/ blue cheese, pickles, red onions, caramelized onions, jalapeños, mayonnaise, BBQ sauce. One would think with everything listed here, this would be one juicy veggie burger PACKED w/ flavor. Nope. Not the case. It wasn't a bad burger but it needed a lil more attention. The patty itself was ... DRYYYY *cough cough*. Don't need another black bean burger here. 2b) The Chicken: Crispy (or grilled) w/ cheese, lettuce & tomato. The bestie enjoyed his sandwich. It was a decent size and he enjoyed the flavor profile so... SCORE!!! We also split an other of the Large Tater Tots. It was a generous sizing and did what they needed to do. Nothing bad. Nothing great. Just flavorless tater tots - crispy outside, pillow like inside. They weren't even dusted w/ salt but... I digress. Overall, I can say I've been. For the price paid, I can't say if I'd return. Maybe other locations season/ flavor their dishes a little more. I dunno...

I felt very dismissed, he expressed that the rock probably came from the potato, honestly I was understanding that things like this happen as I also work in service. It was the way he responded to me, as he said "ok and what do you want me to do about it" there was no apologies or I'm sorry this happened. I wasn't asking for him to comp my entire meal, but the least he could have done was apologize and or discount the meal or one beverage. I mainly addressed this issue to make them aware, and I honestly wouldn't have written this review if Dan the general manager was one, polite and two the least bit apologetic. My only drawback on my One Night Stand was that the Baltimore locations menu indicates that they add in chili on the burger which is not indicated on the online versions of the menu. I'm not a spicy food eater and I THINK that's what put the spice in this burger, I'll have it removed when I come back, but overall everything was pretty good.
