This place definitely is a Baltimore gem. I recommend making reservations through email, or walking in and seeing if there's bar seating available. If not, it's usually a 2 hour wait for a table for 2-3 people. The prices are a bit steep but the food quality is so good and flavorful. My favorite is the fig and smoked Gouda pie- so unique and perfect combination of sweet and savory - $20ish They're known for their perogi's and they had a lobster special which was delicious - $39 The ambience is a cute cozy townhome vibe and the servers are all amazing and kind.

We had such a wonderful dinner here! The menu is this incredibly unique, comforting blend of Polish and Serbian influences mixed with cozy neighborhood tavern vibes, and everything we ordered was hit after hit. If you go, you should definitely have the pierogies. They are absolutely elite! Perfectly pillowy with a gorgeous sear, and you can tell they're handmade with love. We also tried the Fresno pizza and added a drizzle of hot honey to it, which was a total game-changer. The crust is incredible, and that sweet-and-spicy combo was perfection. For the rest of the food, the antipasto was a super fresh way to start the meal and a beautiful reflection of Polish cuisine! Definitely one of the most creative and tasty antipastos I've had. The chicken entree was wonderfully juicy and satisfying. We also really appreciated that they have a thoughtful non-alcoholic menu. The Fony Negroni and the Crush mocktail were both fantastic, creative, and felt just as special as a standard cocktail. Our server, Susannah, was incredibly warm and attentive, making the whole night feel like we were just hanging out at a friend's house. Little Donna's easily earned a spot on our regular rotation. We'll absolutely be back!

Food: Everything was good. The trout dip was my favorite, it tasted like salmon but wasn't too fishy. The lobster pierogis were a close second. The flavor and texture was great. The seafood ragu was disappointing since it has a high price tag ($36?) for a small amount of food. Service: The service was great. Ambiance: The place is very quaint and feels very homey. They even had free postcards.

Loved this place! It's been on the list for a while, food was bomb, the $7 hh margs were good! And the spicy one was amazing. Beef tartare, pierogis, scallops and pizza all 10/10!

Little Donna's is truly a standout restaurant in Baltimore, with wonderful "flatbread" nontraditional, pizzas, absolutely stellar salads, and artisanal cocktails that will blow your socks off. From the people sitting around me and my guests, the two times I've been, the other entrées came extremely highly recommended as well. The servers and bartenders are sociable, and where interesting conversationalist both times I've been, will never interrupting a conversation with my guest once it was flowing. It has a warm, inviting ambience, perfect for a casual date or something a bit more formal. Located on an unassuming side street, street parking can be a tiny bit challenging during the weekends, and it's usually busy requiring reservations Friday through Sunday from what I've been told, so plan ahead!

Caesar salad for Valentines day menu

We did the tasting menu at Little Donna's on Valentine's Day (made sure to snag that res as soon as it dropped, since I had been eyeing this place forever). It was 75 PP, and you shared all the plates. The interior was very homey, like grandma's living room, which I liked. We started strong with a Caesar salad that was unlike any I'd ever had. I usually *hate* radicchio, and this was the first time I barely noticed its bitterness. The next course of the beet toast with the meatball rillettes is also delicious. There is not one fault I can pick with ANY of the things I ate that night, so this review will sound repetitive, in that I'll say 'It was delicious/yummy/amazing' for everything. Because everything truly was. The Jonny cake with smoked Salmon, the potato dumplings with brown butter and sage, and the chicken with dauphinoise potatoes - everything a hit after a hit after a hit. The dessert was palacinke, which were Serbian pancakes, and that was a fantastic way to end the meal. You think '75 pp, and you're sharing one plate of each item? Weird.' But honestly, the portions were enough that I felt stuffed by the end of the meal. Would like to check out their regular menu at a later time.

quick reunite at @littledonnas in fells point, baltimore feat. their lobster pierogies, Serbian pancakes, among other bites and a tavern pie

Little Donna, I'd leave my partner for you. In all seriousness, the best meal I've had in Baltimore in recent memory. We got extremely lucky and managed to snag a reservation for two on a Friday night one week out. Cozy atmosphere that feels welcoming and doesn't have the stuffiness we sometimes find with nicer restaurants. Get the pirogies! They had a special with lobster but we opted for the OGs and they didn't disappoint - I wish we had gotten two orders. All the food was excellent though - the smoked trout dip can only be described as a fusion of flavors that left me fiending for more focaccia. Also ordered the tuna tartare and tavern pizza; the latter landed on the table and was snagged before I could take a picture. Will be back; on a weeknight if it means not waiting for another weekend reservation to open up.

Granny's Meds on the cocktail menu

Top notch experience! Our regular dinner trio was fortunate to be able to get a table at Little Donna's on a Tuesday evening. The cocktails were fantastic! I ordered the Granny's Meds and Season Crush (which was muddle blueberries). My friends ordered the Granny's Meds and The Old Grandpa Tut. We decided to order family style. The special lobster pierogies were THE star of the meal. The flavor was incredibly amazing and the chunks of lobster were tender and delicious. The crab and cheese soufflé were the runner up. Beautiful texture and the hollandaise was so rich and decadent. The special scallion ceviche tostada was next. Beautiful ceviche. Followed by the Serbian pancakes, although we all agree we really didn't taste the crab or hot pepper chilli on the pancakes. However the cucumber salad and pickled onion were amazing. Followed by the traditional pierogies with sausage and kraut were phenomenal. Bottom of our list was the gig and smoked goods tavern pie. Still very good - the spicy apple jam was incredible - but we really didn't taste the smoked Gouda. For dessert we ordered the special bread pudding (with homemade focaccia and apricot) and the blueberry tart both with a huge dollop of whipped cream. All I have to say is holy shit!! It was amazing!! Hands down you need to go to Little Donna's you need to go!!

Pickle plate .... Ate the eggs but the veggies were not good.

Yikes. Such a difference from our first visit. This time, we didn't have a reservation but didn't mind waiting since it was a Saturday night and we really enjoyed our last experience at Little Donna's. I had been craving pierogies all week, so we decided to make the trip. We ended up waiting a little over an hour to be seated. Once we sat down, it took quite a while before anyone even brought us water--probably around 20 minutes before someone finally came by to take our order. We started with the pierogies and the pickle plate. The pierogies were okay--not bad, but definitely not as amazing as I remembered. They were a bit over-fried and lacked filling. The pickle plate, unfortunately, was not good at all. The pickles were overly sweet, and the rest of the vegetables didn't taste fresh. It actually made me feel a little sick afterward. For our mains, my husband got the Taco Pie and I had the Cheese Pizza with Pepperoni. My pizza was decent--nothing special, but enjoyable. His Taco Pie, on the other hand, was disappointing. He regretted ordering it. Overall, this second visit was a letdown. The wait wasn't worth it, the service was slow and inattentive, the kitchen didn't look particularly clean, and the food was just average. I really hate leaving a negative review, especially for a neighborhood spot I want to support, but this just wasn't a good experience.

Came for the pizza and ended up with so much more. A fun menu that everyone can enjoy. Inside decor gives a cozy yet lively vibe. Fun and attentive staff. Top recommendations: Housemade Pickle Plate, Little Donna's Perogies, and any of the Tavern Pies!

Truly one of the best restaurants that I've ever been to. Little Donna's has an innovative yet classic menu and is the epitome of elevated comfort food. Service was great and the staff was kind! A few standout menu items, the smoked trout dip was life changing, lobster pierogis, crab palacinke, and more pierogis for dessert. We left wanting to come back ASAP.

This place lived up to the hype! Cute, old school vibe inside. The service was great and the special lobster pierogi was a showstopper! My only complaint was that I wish there was more of it, not because portions was small, but because I would stuff myself with it. The cocktails were great, too!

This one was an unexpected gem and one of the most memorable stops of our Fells Point trip…read more We walked in on a Thursday night (not sure of the exact time), and it was completely empty. No bartender in sight, no other patrons, no background noise. For a moment, we genuinely wondered if we were in the right place. The bar is down a flight of stairs, tucked into the basement, and it's notable because it's Fells Point's only and possibly first basement bar, which already gives it serious character points. We waited near the bar for a few minutes, heard nothing, saw no one, and eventually started heading back up the stairs to leave. That's when Steve, the bartender, literally came after usnot in a weird way, but in a very human, "Hey! Sorry about that, I was in the stock room come back in!" way. And honestly? From that moment on, the experience completely flipped. Steve was phenomenal. Friendly, welcoming, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the place. He's worked there for 18 years, and once we sat down, he turned the bar into a living history lesson. He shared stories about Fells Point, Baltimore, Edgar Allan Poe, the building itself, and all the ghost stories tied to the space. He also told us about the celebrities who've passed through, including the fun detail that Blake Shelton once sat in the very bar stool I was sitting in and ordered a Bullet bourbon. Naturally, that kind of trivia just adds to the charm. Drink-wise, I ordered an Angry Orchard, and my friend had a single Tito's with cranberry and soda water. Our total was $26.16, which feels pretty standard for Baltimore definitely not cheap, but not shocking either. The bar itself is small, intimate, and packed with atmosphere exposed brick, low ceilings, and that cozy, historic, slightly haunted vibe you hope for in a basement bar. It's also connected to The William Fell Inn hotel through a separate entrance, which makes it feel like a hidden secret rather than a tourist stop. We loved the history, the stories, the ghosts, the setting and especially Steve. Being the only patrons that night was actually a gift, because it let us really soak it all in. That said, we're absolutely planning to come back on a busy night to see how the energy shifts when it's full. If you love historic bars, good storytelling, and places that feel like they've seen things Anchor Bar is a must. ‍

Smooth, rich, perfectly balanced... this is the kind of drink that reminds me why I started my little espresso martini passport in the first place. It was giving luxury, it was giving intention, it was giving I need another one immediately. For food, I started with the crudo, which was super fresh and beautifully done -- light, bright, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. Then I had the scallops, and this is where they really won me over. Perfectly cooked, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth... just one of those dishes you don't want to end. The whole experience felt elevated without being stuffy -- gorgeous waterfront vibes, amazing service, and food and drinks that actually deliver. The whiskey selection is impressive--this was actually my first time trying Pappy Van Winkle 15 Year, and it was incredibly smooth. If you're a whiskey drinker, you'll appreciate how extensive the selection is here. The bar menu is also surprisingly strong. I highly recommend the burger, and the crab cake is made with real lump meat--not imitation!!! The bartender was very knowledgeable and offered great recommendations throughout the night.
