    Tortellini with Peas & Ham

I travel extensively and I'm always a little hesitant to order on D**rdash- but sometimes you do what you gotta do. This looked so promising and since it was so close to the "little Italy" area of Baltimore inner harbor ~ I was so excited. Lots of issues. First- it was swimming in sauce- to the extent I thought I had received a soup. The peas were rock hard (oddly) but the most disappointing was the fact that the pasta was just total mush. I wish I could have eaten it- but it was overly salty (probably the ham ~ but that should be adjusted for). Just overall disappointing- especially for a place with decent ratings. My hope is they have some management that will correct some poor cooking nights. ‍

Have had take out from here and also eaten in person. Always impressed with their food, which has been consistently generously portioned and flavorful. Really enjoy their pane rotundo (garlic bread with creamy garlic sauce and jumbo shrimp) and penne la rosa (jumbo shrimp, garlic sauce, penne). Solid appetizers and desserts as well. I'm less impressed with their service -- the hostess at the front of the store was quite short with parties that came in, and the wait staff checked in so frequently that it felt we were being rushed out. Otherwise, indoor and limited outdoor seating available. Street parking near restaurant in Little Italy.

This is a quaint place with a good selection. The service was fast and friendly and tables were comfortable. The pasta and sauce were delicious and tasted fresh. I was disappointed they did not have fresh bread for the tables, but only offer garlic bread. The chicken parm was also made perfectly. Worth a visit when you visit Little Italy.

Our group enjoyed all of our dishes at Amicci's. Great Italian food starts with a tasty homemade marinara and Amicci's does not disappoint. The sauce is loaded with chunks of ripe tomatoes and seasoned perfectly. The Spaghetti with the homemade marinara and meatballs is a winner. Generous portions of perfectly cooked pasta, homemade meatballs and marinara. Also a very good dish is the Baked Rigatoni which is made in their homemade bolognese. Everything ordered was delicious. Service is fast and friendly.

This place was so delicious! We got the penne la Rosa and the penne amicci and it was so creamy and flavorful. It paired really well with the garlic bread. The service was good and the ambiance was nice. If you want a good Italian meal and wanna feel cozy and a perfect spot for lunch or even a date night. I recommend!

I will be day dreaming about Amicci's. If you would like to go try a good Italian restaurant in Little Italy, this is the one. The portions were huge. Everything was also yummy and felt like a warm hug. The service was also fast and good. Our server was very nice and ensured that we had everything we needed. The vibe of the place was also so cute with all the movie posters. Will for sure come again!

    Baked Rigatoni

Visiting from out of town, happened to stumble upon this restaurant for dinner. Was sat quickly upon arrival. Started the meal with an order of mozzarella sticks. They were golden brown and delicious. Entree was the baked rigatoni with bolognese which was amazing. Looking at the plate when delivered to the table, would think it was too much to finish in one sitting, however that was not the case. The Bolognese was the perfect balance of sauce and cream and the sausage was very tasty. For dessert ordered the tiramisu and the bread pudding. The tiramisu was delicious, however, that bread pudding was out of this world. Both desserts were only $7 each and worth every penny (or soon to be nickel). Our server was attentive, accommodated any request, and was friendly. She made the evening. Will definitely return the next time in Baltimore.

Great chicken parm and fresh romaine salad was delicious. Thank you Amici!

Thank you Amicci's for making the world a better place with your 3 course for $20 special. It is TRULY special, such a great deal, so delicious, and also so quick-- my order was ready within 15 minutes! I got the: - house salad (10/10 the dressing is SO good and they don't skimp, my salad was well dressed!) - chicken parm (10/10, hearty with a great tomato sauce, a classic for a reason!) - bread pudding (11/10, usually I am tiramisu person but their bread pudding is so good I have to get it!) This special is for to-go orders but I've also dined in multiple times and love the homey and welcoming atmosphere! A great place to go with family, with friends, or anyone.

Meatballs were extremely salty and did not taste good at all. One of the most unitalian, "Italian" places I've ever been to.

Representing A for 2019 is A is for Amicci's: I only visited Amicci's once in June 2019 before seeing the band Chicago at Pier Six Pavilion. This was with a brand new girlfriend, our 1st date as a developing couple. She & I were friends for over a year prior to our 1st date, which Chicago concert that I won tickets to a pretty impressive 1st date. Although my current girlfriend & I first date in February 2024 was the Washington Capitals hockey game. I parked in the Little Italy parking garage conveniently located right by Amicci's in the Little Italy neighborhood of Baltimore. Amicci's is amongst the best of a great cluster of various Italian restaurants. I got a lobster pasta dish, which was outstanding. It's a cute, small restaurant. Server was nice. Price was less nice, but on par with similar Italian, but this was one of the best Italian places I've been to. Overall, if I'm ever in Little Italy, I'd come back to Amicci's.

One of the best deals for restaurant week! I ordered takeout and got 3 courses for only $25. The food was good and the service was pretty fast.

Ordered during restaurant week last year, they offered a great deal for salad, entree, and dessert for $35 pp! Ordered the Greek salad, some sort of sausage pasta, and bread pudding and the food was great.

Can you bring in your own bottle of wine?

Sorry, No you can't. They have a full bar.

If you advertised a 10 pm closing, your kitchen should be open till then?

Many places will remain open (as far as the kitchen is concerned) until 15-30 minutes before it closes.

There was about 8 of us and we were seated downstairs in the bar area at a high top. Despite there being a reservation, it felt like our party was a last minute thought. The table was cramped and the ambiance of the downstairs bar area was dingy and dimly-lit. Our server, who was also the only bartender, did his best to multi task all night, although his demeanor was not very warm or friendly. I ordered the gluten free version of the Samantha fettuccine. Despite this being the only noodle they don't make in house, I had to pay extra for it. Annoying, but not totally unexpected. What was disappointing was the total price for the dish. It came out to be almost $50.... I believe the pasta is marked as market price due to the inclusion of crab meat but when it arrived, there was barely any in the dish. The flavor of the sauce was good but definitely not worth the price tag. I won't be returning anytime soon.

I'm still looking for a smooth sauce for some chicken parm, but no worries since the menu here has plenty of different sauce options! I enjoyed the chicken francese. The chicken was very tender and it was a generous portion. I felt it could have used a bit more flavor, but the sauce was a nice consistency and the linguine was cooked perfectly. Dalesios of Little Italy has been open since 1984 and has been serving great Italian dishes in the heart of Baltimore's Little Italy. Walking inside, the restaurant is tastefully decorated. It screams old world, European charm with it's unique art adorning the walls. I'm seated in the first dining room, closest to the front door. There's a bar inside this room which adds to the Italian decor. First time here, I don't know the restaurants portion sizes. Is it family style where one plate can feed a small army? The portion size was perfect. I ordered a nice glass of Italian wine and the Scampi & Crab Alla Sardegna. The pasta dish was amazing. The pasta was cooked perfect al dente and the Scampi & Crab sauce was something unique to Baltimore. It's Crab & Shrimp simmered in a cognac, garlic & tomato cream sauce. All of this goodness is served over linguine. I love Maryland Crabs and to have them topped in a pasta dish makes my heart sing. I highly recommend this dish. My waiter was very informative, he made some great dinner suggestions but I first had to try the Scampi & Crab Alla Sardegna. The next time I come I'm going to order the Lasagna!
