Most important EVERYTHING is made from scratch and locally sourced, farm to table. Out of this world delicious!! Ordering the Florentine Benadict fresh tomato, spinach, and the best hollandaise sauce I've tasted. It comes with a side of french toast, made with fresh brioche brought it daily from a Baltimore bakery. Thick cut and the center tasted like creamy custard, paired with homemade strawberry syrup and fresh whipped cream. We also tried the Shrimp Skillet, fresh jumbo shrimp on potatoes with avocado, spinach, peppers and two eggs your way. There is a wide selection of all things delicious on the menu that will definitely have us coming back for more!! Our server Kate was awesome!! She made excellent and honest recommendations such as the Florentine Benedict hyping the up French toast as it deserves. OPH closes daily at 2:30 but you'll want to get there early, certain menu items are made to order and will be a 30 - 45 minute wait. They are also happy to accommodate large parties!

Keeping in mind that this is a chain restaurant, the food is actually pretty good. The vegetables in the omelette were fresh as were the blueberries in the pancakes. The pancakes did have an odd flavor, maybe baking powder/baking soda, which is a shame because otherwise they would have been really good.

Conveniently located at Westfield Annapolis Mall. A nice affordable and quick breakfast, then off shopping! Lol!

I swung by last Thursday morning after hearing great things about this restaurant. It was very quiet inside with only about 4 other parties seated. It took a little bit for us to flag someone down to be seated. The interior has a rustic diner feel. It almost felt like there was construction needed in some parts of the inside. The ceiling is covered in exposed pipes and some of the decor felt dated. There were both booths and tables to choose from. It looked like there used to be a bar inside but was clearly no longer in use. Our server said almost no words. Despite being mildly unfriendly, she did take our orders quickly. After our food came out she never checked on us & we had to flag her down for the check. I got the eggs benedict, the English muffin was chewy & very hard to cut through. The hollandaise was a funky consistency but tasted great. I wish the poached egg was runny in the middle but both were overcooked. The pancakes were the highlight as they were light and fluffy. My friends chicken sandwich was standard.

We recently attended for a friend's birthday for a hearty breakfast. Our server Johnny was amazing!! He had a beautiful spirit and was so patient with our table. We truly enjoyed ourselves. The portions are big for the price point. I was so full and did not eat again for the remainder of the day. I can't wait to return again.

Came in on a gloomy Tuesday for some pancakes . A friend of mine had mentioned this place , so I figured I give it a try . Came in around noon and the place was empty, yet very clean. The smell of hot pancakes was every where . . I ordered the 2x2x3 meal (pancakes , eggs and sausage ) and it was just okay . The pancakes had a weird after taste to it that I couldn't quite out my finger on . My scrambled eggs could have been scrambled a tab bit harder and was sausage was great as is. Overall my food was just okay . My friend said his waffle was on point ! So basically the food was okay ( not bad nor great) . Our waitress was nice and attentive . I would come back just to try other items like their French toast

I will say the service here was a highlight. Our server was very friendly, which made the experience bearable. The food was just okay, and there was just so much going on in the dining area. It was hard to enjoy. They don't take reservations, so be prepared for a wait if you come during peak hours. GLOWS: -Our server was great. GROWS: -Leaking ceiling was already a red flag at the front desk. -The french toast was not good at all. -The dining room was slightly uncomfortable. The way the booths were positioned and the space between the tables and chairs was odd. -There were lots of loud kids, lots of coughing , and overall I was just ready to go (not so much a restaurant issue, but it speaks to the crowd present)

I ordered the "Pancake Works". Definitely no issue when it comes to portions sizes. The only thing I disliked were the Eggs. I like them scrambled, but they come out a little runny every time. The sweet tea is AMAZING! If you are from Baltimore and familiar with good bodega (carry out) sweet tea or half & half... it's THAT GOOD! The service is ok. Sometimes that waiter/waitress will forget about you. Other than that it's a cool spot. Better than IHOP or nasty Bob Evans.

This only happens to me: I walk in and I'm standing by the front door. This gorgeous woman is walking towards me. She smiles and says hi. I say, one please. I follow her and she was a customer! I start laughing, small talk happens and finally someone escorts me to a booth. Once I'm seated, it's go time. Coffee is poured and my order is placed. Pecan pancakes with sausage. While I'm waiting for my breakfast, The Original Pancake House looks like it needs a refreshing. Dark woods and an empty, dusty bar isn't very inviting. But it seems the place is jumpin' with lots of customers. My food comes to the table. I'm told there are two syrups, one is tropical fruit and the other is warm syrup. Put it all together and that was one tasty way to start my day. Warm, comfort food at its finest. The slogan is, pancakes as you like them. My breakfast was really good, I'm glad I stopped in. My lady friend? After she pays her bill she comes to my table and tells me have a nice day. Baltimore is a beautiful city

It's definitely a place you have to see to appreciate. One of the biggest conveniences is the parking. They have a designated customer parking lot in addition to available street parking, which takes the stress out of finding a spot. We visited on a Sunday around 12:30 PM with a party of five and were seated immediately. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, and every dish that came to the table was outstanding. We ordered the large Caesar salad, pulled pork sandwich, chicken quesadilla, Monte Egg breakfast sandwich, pesto burger, onion rings and Southern Love burger. Every meal was generously portioned, arrived fresh, and was packed with flavor. No one at the table had a complaint, and everyone left impressed. PaperMoon Diner isn't just known for its quirky atmosphere, it also delivers incredible food to match. If you're looking for a restaurant with a fun, unforgettable vibe and delicious food served in generous portions, this is a spot that's absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommended!

This place was a one-and-done experience for us. Never again!!…read more My husband and I ended up here after the Dave Chappelle show because our original dinner plans fell through when the restaurant was fully booked. We should have made reservations, but at that point, all we wanted was a decent meal (nothing fancy) after a long workweek and then to head home. Unfortunately, a decent meal didn't happen. The food was some of the worst we've had in a long time. My husband actually spit food into his napkin, shook his head, and said, "I'm done." I've never seen him do that before. Several dishes were simply inedible. The mashed potatoes were bland and flavorless--how do you mess up mashed potatoes? The potato salad was equally bland and disappointing. The French onion soup had very little broth and was overloaded with a thick layer of hardened cheese. Overall, the food tasted cheap and poorly prepared, yet the prices suggested otherwise. It felt like diner-quality food being sold at premium prices. What made the experience even more frustrating was the manager's response. He came to our table after hearing about our concerns, but instead of focusing on the quality issues we raised, he seemed more concerned that my husband refused to order a replacement meal. That spoke volumes about where the priorities were. The one bright spot was our server, who was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the meal. No complaints regarding the server as he was extremely apologetic with our experience. To our surprise, the restaurant also added an automatic gratuity to our bill. Ironically, had that not been done, we likely would have tipped our server more because he was not the problem. The kitchen and management were. No, I didn't complain about the tip after I noticed it on our bill. We were over the experience and just wanted to pay and get the hell out of there. Save yourself the disappointment and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. We certainly wish we had. Gordon Ramsay, if you're looking for a future Kitchen Nightmares episode, this place could desperately use the help. P.S. A business name change is not going to help with the quality of the food. Do better and prove that you actually care about your customers, not just the $$.

I'm gonna cover a lot of ground here and I will say that I would gladly give the FOOD four stars. Everything was delicious and very fresh. Now.. for the ... quirks. The parking lot is kind of small and if the place is crowded it may be tough to navigate if you've got a larger vehicle. The floor setup feels like something from a time gone by when ppl were smaller. I myself am NOT a small person and my other party was seated before I arrived, in a location that was going to block access to other patrons by service staff. Luckily the crowd started thinning out. The menus have not been updated in quite a while and there's a sign on the door as you enter that lets you know the menu prices aren't current. Either do a QR code with current pricing or update it - clearly your patrons show a measured displeasure at what they're ordering not matching what's on their checks. Something I thought was cute/whimsical - when they encountered a birthday patron, they played a song. Never heard THAT particular version. It was loud. I was kinda digging the honeycomb/bee themes. Our server struggled a little bit when the crowd was thickest but she was really nice and we took it easy on her. All that being said - would I go back? Sure, if I could get a better seat and the staff wasn't overwhelmed by the morning rush.

It was a satisfying meal overall! Eggs were fried hard with cheese, potatoes were well seasoned, bacon was crispy! My only distaste is that they used regular bread rather than brioche for their French toast. The flavor on the French was amazing, it's topped with a cinnamon sugar butter. I washed everything down with an amazing Arnold Palmer. The Perfect balance of tea and lemonade. The coco bread was buttery and light, a delicious treat.
