It doesn't get more Diner than this! From the walkway to the train car like entrance to the servers and surroundings. Orioles and Ravens themed kids clothes. Service with a bit of overworked and cynical. I did love the sausage and gravy with hash browns. Stayed away from the yellow grits (buttered I'm told). Coffee refilled as dreams seem to die. Still, will come back when in the neighborhood. Breakfast all day.

Fast lunch on a Sunday at 1. No wait for a seat. Beautiful cook and plenty of workers in this retro restaurant. The Ultimate club sandwich was great and was too big to eat in one sitting. The onion rings came out very hot, had to eat them after the half a sandwich. The spaghetti and meatballs had plenty of meatballs that were gently seasoned and a mild red sauce. Come in for a quick traditional diner meal. We should come back for breakfast because the Greek omelette looks good.

Don't let the look fool you! This quaint little diner has great food and excellent service ! The server we had was prompt and very friendly ! We ordered chipped beef, Belgian waffle and a club sandwich. The club sandwich was the best I've ever had at a diner. Very thick cuts of turkey and clean layers of bacon and lettuce and the bread was nicely toasted! The waffle was light and fluffy! Chipped beef at diner is always good so nothing more to say about there. Check this place out!!

Think old school diner. Came here for breakfast, service was attentive, non intrusive, food was fast and yummy! If you are in the area and want an old school diner vibe, definitely check this place out!

I first ate at this place as a kid -- when I went to the Paramount Theater next door for a "science-fiction, double-feature picture-show, in the back row." Admision was about 35 cent, as I recall. Anyway, The OD hardly seemed unique to me at the time.....It was just another pseudo railroad car sheathed in chrome. Well, coming back to it now, after all those ago, it seemed like a new world....a new old world...an old world new again...something like that. I love a good omelette. Guess what! There's were great! I got one with feta and a side of scrapple....yes, folks, scrapple! For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, well, I won't tell you here. Plus you don't want to know what's in it -- trust me. I ordered whole wheat toast, and guess what! It was really genuinely whole wheat. And the home fries...guess what! Cooked just right with a little extra seasoning -- I'm guessing Old Bay! On their menu: French Fries w/gravy [a Baltimore thing], crab cakes, oysters, meat loaf, liver and onions, and so on. Maybe next time. Service was very good, indeed. BUT.....coffee not so "hot".... The big plus: All those nasaly, "a"-flattened, Baltimore twangs being tossed back and forth from customer to waitress to customer again. Amazingly, I could still understand it. Had I spoken up, I'm sure I would have "passed." Oh, the old Paramount Theater? It's now owned by and connected to the diner - for big functions or overflows, I guess.

I truly do enjoy going here to dine. I have been going for several years. I have never been disappointed. The staff are polite. My favorite is waffles and vanilla ice cream. Oh yes.

    Western Omelette. Added cheese. Yumm.

We went for breakfast while we in town for the 4th of July. Not very busy the morning after a holiday. The coffee was delicious. I had the western omelette. My husband had the egg platter and added bacon. It was delicious. And came out so fast. The server was extremely friendly. What a gem. We will be back next time we are in town.

By the time we finished eating, it was indeed full. Since it's small, they only had only waitress taking care of the entire dining room with no issues. My son ordered their Pecan & Caramel French toast and my wife ordered their biscuits & gravy. Being in Baltimore I went with their Chesapeake Benedict. These came with crab cakes and overall a very delicious dish. This was my first time having seafood like this for breakfast and would do it again in a heartbeat. We walked in on a slightly rainy Saturday and were seated right away--no reservation needed, which is always a plus. Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart--so warm and attentive, but unfortunately I can't remember her name. I went with the French toast breakfast with cheddar eggs and bacon, and everything was cooked to perfection--comfort food at its finest. My BF ordered the strawberry pancakes, bacon, and grits. The pancakes were fluffy and topped with whipped cream that tasted wonderfully homemade. The grits were a bit too loose for my taste (I'm a thick-grits girl), but they were creamy and would definitely appeal to anyone who prefers a smoother texture. What I love most is how centrally located Sip & Bite is. After breakfast, you can stroll to Canton Square for a drink or do what we did and head to Canton Waterfront Park to relax by the water. It's an easy stop to build a whole chill day around. The menu is super expansive, and we noticed they've even been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives--and honestly, it tracks. The food is satisfying, the atmosphere is no-frills but welcoming, and the quality speaks for itself. A definite go-to for a hearty breakfast in the city. Breakfast was definitely 5/5 but because of the divey-diner ambiance I'm gonna say 4/5 overall.

The staff was friendly and mostly left us alone but for frequent coffee refills, and the food was about what I expected from a restaurant that is basically a different version of IHOP. The bacon was thick and crispy and way better quality than anticipated and the over easy eggs were cooked perfectly, which is rare. The protein and buckwheat pancakes were nice surprises on the menu and were quite tasty. The neighborhood has a dearth of true weekday breakfast places, and this is a nice option. The Maryland Cab soup was good, with a lot of crab and a decent amount of spiciness. I had a French dip type sandwich with fries. I asked for my fries to be extra crispy, they were served kind of soggy and cold. The au jus for my sandwich was literally cold. That said, the food was basic but good.
