This place has a problem with including condiments in the bag. I didn't miss the chili sauce that comes with the seafood egg rolls because it really doesn't belong on the side of seafood egg rolls but COME ON!!! Every body knows that cocktail sauce goes with shrimp!! I even specifically asked for cocktail sauce in the comments. This was y'all 2nd chance to get it right and you blew it. P.S thanks for the butt load of mustard packs that does not go on anything that I ordered

    Seems pretty self-explanatory.

I was online looking for a place to pick up some shrimp salad for my wife, and this was the first place to pop up. I used the company's website to place an order online. I also decided to get myself a soft crab sandwich. The only option on the website was a "Soft Crab Sub" and that's what I selected. There were several options for bread, such as sub roll, wheat, white, rye, and I assumed that selecting "rye" would mean I was ordering a sandwich and not a sub. I received a phone call from the restaurant. Here is roughly how the conversation went: Restaurant: we do not have rye sub rolls Me: that's fine. I actually want a sandwich. Restaurant: but you ordered a sub Me: that's because it was the only option on the website Restaurant: we have been having issues with the website Me: yeah, I could only select sub, but then it gave me the option to have rye bread Restaurant: we do not have rye sub rolls. The online menu is incorrect Me: it's ok, because I actually do not want a sub, I want a sandwich Restaurant: but you ordered a sub Me: it was the only way to get a sandwich Restaurant: Hold on please Then a second staff member gets on the phone Restaurant: sir, we do not have rye sub rolls Me: that's fine, cancel the order Restaurant: you want to cancel the entire order? *Click

Seafood Combo app $13.99: four fried shrimp, fried clams, and four crab balls

This review is based on carryout dinner only, not the crabs. This little spot is in a shopping center on my way home from work, right by our go-to Chinese carryout and the DBF's fave chain Carrabba's. It is carryout only. I bought a Groupon for Waterman's Pride the other day and decided to check out their seafood combo appetizer platter when I had a jones for some fried goodness. For $14 you get four fried shrimp, four crab balls and some fried clams. I also got an order of onion rings ($2.50). I enjoyed everything I ordered and it totally satisfied my craving, especially the shrimp and onion rings. I was surprised by the shrimp, nice large butterflied shrimp. Tasty. The crab balls were decently sized, smaller than a ping pong ball but they did contain some lump meat in each. The clams were good, not as crispy as I would have liked but I blame that on the nice steam they received in the box on the drive home in rush hour traffic. The onion rings were just right, crispy and yummy. Service was great too; while my order was being assembled, the super nice girl behind the counter offered me some coleslaw, pasta or macaroni salad on the house. She said that they had had an event and it was leftover and they were trying to get rid of it. So I got to try their coleslaw for free, and as a bonus it was really good! Note to Yelpers looking for crabs, when you check in here you can get a free roll of paper. This place has good food and a convenient location for me. I plan to come back to try other items on their menu in the near future.

Crabs were really good and the service was wonderful! This is now my go to place for crabs.

I got six crabs. Picked thru two and rest was horrible.

Gave 2 star because I've had them before so I know they're sometimes good But man these crabs were BAD, smelled & tasted weird. And overcharged for my taco

I'm not sure why this shop isn't rated. And although I'm giving it a 2 stars, it's definitely worth a trip. So, this is why it's getting 2 stars....the $1 crabs. Having just moved to the Balt area, we are becoming crab addicts. Not just the meat, but the whole shebang of deconstructing the crab and beating the hell out of it with the crab hammer. But here's the thing...we can't afford $75 every few days for a dozen crabs. So after my sashimi lunch, I ventured over to this shop to see what the deal was. The deal was $1 crabs. They're small crabs. And I couldn't figure out the size difference between them and the 12/$18 crabs. But I decided I'd blow $10 on 10 of these chumpies and if I didn't get a lot of crab meat I'd at least get the pleasure/pain of hot moist crab spice getting into unknown cuts on my hands. So I order them and wait....and wait....and wait. Seriously, I wait about 30 mins for these crabs. At about minute 20 I happen to ask if they're cooked with spice or if I had to ask for it (because I note the 12/$18 crabs are cooked with no spice). Oh, yeah, she tells me. They're cooked with spice. Sweet. I'm doing 70mph on Rt43 to get home and tear into these crabs. I. Am. Jonesin. What an effin disappointment!! I could have gotten a ticket for this BS. They're small, sure. I don't care about that. But I wait 30 mins for luke warm pre-cooked crabs that they threw dry spice onto. They were so bad, I wasn't sure if they threw the crabs into a steamer or into the microwave. The meat was mushy and the crab spice didn't stick to the crab. I NO UNDERSTAND! So, that made me think...is this what their other crabs taste like?

My friend always gets crabs from this place. I thought Id give them a try. I must say Im very picky about where I get my crabs from. The crabs here were good! Very flavorful! Just the right amount of seasoning. I couldn't stop eating them. Definitely adding this place to my list of getting crabs.

There is however a dress code which comes as a surprise given it's not a super fancy restaurant imo. Granted I have never seen anyone come dressed short of nice and presentable so I'm unsure how strict they are about it. Food wise, we got calamari for the table and this time I got the crab imperial. I was skeptical because I always get the crab cakes and I was unsure how I would like it given how heavy it sounded but it was delicious! I have to say I preferred it over the crab cakes 1) price point 2) quantity of lump crab meat 3) enjoyable throughout as it was not dry so it paired nicely with the sides.

We got there around 4:30pm and was seated immediately. Our server Koya explained our options and took our order right away. We both got a seafood boil with snow crabs legs, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and boiled eggs. She got mussels with her boil and I opted to get extra shrimp and add broccoli instead of the mussels. She got the mild lemon pepper flavor and I got the mild garlic butter. Everything came out nice and hot and seasoned well. My goddaughter said the mussels were a bit on the salty side but everything else was good! It was a slow crowd so it was a chill vibe which I appreciated. Koya checked on us regularly and answered any questions that we had. They had the college basketball games (March Madness) on the TV's which added to the experience. It's BYOB which I will keep in mind for future visits as I plan to definitely return:)

I will patron this establishment again. I feel the management was not prepared for the magnitude of business in which they received on this day. There wasn't a lot of staff to handle the heavy workload of customers. When I walked in I was told 30 mins wait time in which I was seated right around that time frame. However there were a lot of angry customers because of the disorganization of the establishment. My waiter "Princess" was amazing! She was over worked but maintained her composure and attentiveness. The atmosphere was starting to read a little ghetto and very disorganized. There was only 2-3 waiters on such a busy day and the management was the host as he greeted customers , answered a busy phone line , took care of pick up orders and seat patrons. Where he messed up, was tryint to be several people at one time. He needed help badly, as other people were being seated before others that were waiting longer, ect. My food did not have a long wait time after i placed my order and the flavors and quality of the food was sooooo good !! Another tip, they are BYOB(bring your own bottle) so if you want a drink you can bring it in with you. I thought that was cool, but me personally when I go to restaurants and eat inside, I like ordering drinks at the bar. They have a bar area but no alcohol there. Maybe the goal is to open a bar but they need a liquor store license? (Idk). All in all, I would not probably eat in again, but I will come back and get a to go order because as I said the food itself was amazing!

He didn't finish it and gave the rest to me. By that time, the shrimp and Cajun fries were cold- AND STILL DELICIOUS! I ate the whole thing and promised myself that I would make a visit to get my own basket. Just a few days later, I did what I said and visited Juicy King. It's in a convenient location in the Putty Hill Plaza. It is housed in the former Peking House restaurant. I made a call to put my order in. The woman over the phone told me that it would be ten minutes. When I arrived, it was ready for me. The meal comes with two sauces, cocktail & tartar sauce, along with salt, pepper and ketchup. When I took a bite of the catfish, words couldn't describe how crispy and delicious this fish was. So light and flavorful! The shrimp were as tasty as the first time, even more so that I ate them hot. The fries were perfectly seasoned. So, so perfect. They give you perfect portions, as well! This is definitely my favorite thing on the menu. I turned my sister and mom onto them and they both agreed on how awesome the fish and shrimp box was! Now for my third trip, I had a taste for hibachi and remembered that Juicy King had a hibachi menu. I decided upon the shrimp, chicken and steak. I believe it was about 30 dollars. It was pretty good BUT not as good as another restaurant (that I won't name out of respect), that makes a similar dish. However, it wasn't bad, and the ingredients were fresh. The restaurant isn't fancy, but it is clean and nice enough to sit down for lunch or dinner. I'm getting hungry thinking about their fish and shrimp right now! You will not be sorry. Highly recommended!
