    Peach Margarita

The hotel itself is beautiful. A great and needed addition to Fells Point and the city of Baltimore. HOWEVER, this review is solely based on the pool bar area. Nice ambiance and attentive service, but the food and drinks are SEVERELY overpriced. There's no way Chicken Tenders and Fries should be $28! That's highway robbery! I mean the Fries were Parmesan truffle but cmon now!! The drink, a Peach Margarita left a lot to be desired. Not tasty or worth the money. I've had better at local dive bars. The third star was given because of their customer service. The servers were very friendly and attentive. No complaints from me on that end. If you're planning on dining at the Pendry's pool area, be prepared to spend an unnecessary amount of money on basic eats. Maybe dine in at one of their indoor restaurants instead.

We came in May, on a cloudy day, so it was not busy and we were the only ones there. We were able to linger around the pool and enjoy our drinks for quite a while. I had their version of the orange crush, which I believe is made with rye so was good but not a favorite. Drinks are slightly expensive (of course, It's a hotel bar so this is expected) although I thought they were creative which was nice. If you are there on an off day, would highly recommend it for the comfortable patio furniture and beautiful views.

    Lazy Saturday!

This was a lovely spot for a drink by the water on a hot Saturday afternoon! If that's what you're looking for, this is the place! The atmosphere is amazing. If you're looking for great food, I'd plan to eat elsewhere. We ordered the guacamole, chicken caesar wrap, and buffalo wings. The guacamole was pretty good, but the others were disappointing. The chicken wrap mostly tasted of the burnt grill lines on the chicken. I will be back to enjoy the great location, guacamole, and cocktails!

This place is filling a need that Baltimore should not have considering it is on the water and that is a good outside bar on the waterfront. The place is small as about the size of a shipping container between bar and kitchen though there are a fair amount of tables and a couch lounge area. Most of the pool area is reserved for hotel guests including the cabanas. Bartenders were very nice and I always like places that have plugs for cell phones. The two cocktails I had were well made and had a wine for every taste. I did not try the food as stop serving at 8. Drinks are done at 930. Menu is limited with just a few apps and couple larger entrees. If weather is nice this is one of the best options in Baltimore. Just wish they stayed open later especially on weekends.

My friend said I had to come here. We did. As soon as we stepped out of the Uber the adventure began. The building is so out dated but the entrance door held its charm. Neon lit Edgar portrait reading from a book his Annabel Lee. Complete with a bouquet of flowers. To the right more words of the writer surrounded with a few tables and chairs for those willing to chill in the cold. Inside was no different. Several crows, skulls everything you'd expect. And a well stocked bar. Many writings on the wall, articles, awards, etc all added to the vibe and theme. And of course dimly lit but you could still read the menu. We were guided to the back for our party of 5, in a corner away from everyone else. That made it easy for us to converse as we perused the menu exclaiming this and that of the dreadful names used and deathly ingredients mixed in. It definitely made it more appetizing. After working all day I was ready for a drink and settled on the To Isadore; gin, lavender syrup, lemon squeeze topped with segura cava. That hit the spot. Unfortunately, I had eaten quite a bit on this trip and forced myself to order the Chef Salad. Nothing more to say there. My wife, though, ordered the seafood lasagna. Never had that and it didn't sound like something I could get into. I was wrong. This is Baltimore. The seafood here is astounding. It was delicious and had to take a couple spoon fulls. My friend ordered the double beef patty burger. I was jealous until he offered me a bite. That was really good too, and juicy. If you're looking for an experience and are not too afraid you may want to visit Annabel's. I do recommend it and do insist coming after the sun has been well down.

It's so wonderful to come across genuine people who are funny and kind in this world. Our server and the owner were so fun and so funny and so nice. It truly felt like visiting a friends restaurant. The vibes are homey, almost feels like a library but not quite, very cozy very comfy. Food: Tomato Mozarella, this was my two fav things in one. Tomato and burrata/mozarella, and prosciutto and melon. Delicious. 10/10. Prawns: so good, so flavorful, and I typically am not a shrimp/prawn girl. Skirt Steak: this was such a juicy and moist (sorry) steak. I don't like chimmichurri (cannot spell that omg) but it was good! The fries were also a winner. Moroccan Hen: this felt like a cookout bbq to be honest but in the best way. It's super flavorful, very smoky, and SO juicy. Drinks: watermelon marg, orange espresso cocktail, and I cannot remember the blue drinks name but all delicious. I fear this is my fav espresso martini to date. Dessserts: the Poe's nest and the Ruby & Emerald. Delicious. No notes.

The food was euphoric for me. Unfortunately, the portions were the smallest I have ever had at a restaurant and we all left half hungry. It is a little disappointing especially considering the prices. My favorite dish was the sheep ricotta with focaccia. It was so good and we got extra bread with it. I still think about it after moving away from Baltimore. The beets salad was also unique and cool. To be honest, everything else was just OK. I did like both of the pastas we ordered, but it was not impressive. The pasta could also be a bit more al dente, especially for the truffle fettuccini. We also got mussels which were not fresh at all... they were mushy and you can tell they were just from frozen. The cocktails were not bad. Service was excellent and we loved the ambiance.

Note, my daughter had put ketchup on plate before realizing the oversight. So, when the MANAGER brought the food back, I'm thinking it was a show of good faith given the error. Nope. He had a smug attitude and puts the plate on the table where I immediately notice the original plate was reused because it had the ketchup smear. I asked him if this was the same sent back plate of food and he said "yes" and said the added the avocado. They UNWRAPPED the original wrap and just added the avocado and brought the entire plate back. I immediately questioned how that follows food handling guidelines. If they weren't going to redo the order, they could have just brought avocado slices to the table! The MANAGER had a very dismissive, RUDE attitude and so I sent everything back and left. I did tip the waitress cash because she was great and had got us drinks by that point. Again, she was nice and side-eyed the manager agreeing what he did was not acceptable. Apparently he also had a rep for being rude and nasty. I will never eat there again. You have a kitchen with seafood and meats and have no food handling controls? Yeah, miss me with the risk of food poisoning or cross-contamination. No thank you! You're rude to customers and have no standards? Whoever runs the kitchen should know better as should the manager. I can only imagine what else goes on in that kitchen. Dine there at your own risk.
