Friendly server, waterfront views and solid blend of Mexican/Latino options to choose from. I've frequented this location a few times this year and haven't had anything I didn't like!

I haven't had one bad thing on their menu. When I tell you the food is sooooo good! I also love that they have patio seating along the water. Complimentary chips and salsa always hits and the drinks are refreshing too! One of my absolute favorite spots in Baltimore.

Bayside Cantina has a great spot on the harbor with ample outdoor and indoor seating. The food is decent, the margaritas are decent. Nothing I've eaten has blown me away but it's still a solid spot especially for the location and the vibes. I have not had any issues with their service either. I need to come back for their bottomless brunch!

A Balto staple for so many reasons: Good food Good drinks Great location Lots of space (indoors, outdoors, big groups) Friendly service Vegetarian-friendly options So why 4 stars only? While service is friendly, they're not always super attentive or accurate in their orders... especially when busy, but it happens right? I love being able to walk here for a casual drink and bite overlooking the water. The wait is never terrible bc of all their tables. Food is always fresh: chips and salsa are top notch. Healthy/ fair portions, wide menu variety. A definite go-to for me!

Stopped in for lunch with some friends we were visiting. Such a gorgeous view and the weather was amazing. Food was okay but I would try this place again but order something different. Our service was good and friendly

Definitely loved this place! It felt like I was going to a beach spot in Florida! The music, vibes, and service were top tier! I decided to stay at the bar and enjoy happy hour after work, and ordered a Mezcalita. The bartender was super nice and walked me through the drink menu to figure out what kind of drink I was in the mood for. The Mezcalita was great if you enjoy the smoky flavor of mezcal. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the waterfront and also enjoyed connecting with others at the bar. Will definitely come back to try the food. It looked super good and the menu is also very affordable. Highly recommend.

The view of the water and the location is beautiful. Also the service was great, however the food was just okay. I had higher hopes. The ceviche wasn't bad but I was confused why the shrimp were in such large pieces especially when the plantains provided to scoop the ceviche weren't large enough. Also the chicken fajitas could use more seasoning.

Great drinks and food. We sat at the bar and our server Jesse was great. The menu was priced well and flavor was on point. The lighting was great with the great view of the harbor. Will definitely return again soon.

The view is great, wonderful service, the food was good, the prices are fair. The Bellini was really good as well. There is free parking in the area, it's a little walk if you park in the lot. Water taxi's are available also. Great experience.

Great spot for brunch! Waterfront views, live music and friendly staff. Only listed as a 4/5 stars due to being understaffed and sitting for 10 mins until a server greeted us. Mgmt was onsite and HANDS on which I love to see. Mimosas were great (though they only offer one flavor, OJ) and the food was pretty good portions for the price. Would recommend and return again!

Bayside Cantina is a great spot for the views--overlooks the water. Great for a spring/summer day. With that being said, my friends & I visited on 3/26, a warm day (65 degrees). When the weather starts to warm up, you should automatically have staff because more people are going to be out and about. They were short staffed, wait times for tables and food was long, and the hostess seemed a little confused. I heard her tell several groups several different things as they came in. Anyways, the fajitas were good. The drinks were decent. The customer service just could've been better.

We sat outdoors to watch the sunset. It was not very busy but service was quite slow (hence the 4 stars). The Chicha Martini was ok. And I wish they put it in a nicer martini glass. We had mixed shrimp and fish ceviche appetizer. After trying a couple of restaurants, I finally had the best Maryland crab cakes here among the places we ate at during this trip. I love the fried plantains I chose as one of the sides.

    Great sunny Day! Relaxing

Love coming here on summer days. I like sitting outdoors enjoying my drinks and food.

The service from the bartenders was not so great or welcoming. When I asked about the espresso martini and asked for it without lavender, the bartender made way too big of a deal. The espresso martini is pre-made. I opted for a vodka soda and it was pretty hard to drink. The menu feels limited. They do not have pineapple, Red Bull, or many other popular mixes. Positively, prices are very good, especially compared to the other bars in the area. I would like to go back and try the food because it smelled amazing and hopefully find something better to drink on the menu that I like!

There's a back area, sort of like a dinning room, with little booths for those wishing for some privacy. The red lights gives the bar that good old 1920s (prohibition) feel. I felt at any moment the authorities would swing through the door forcing us to hide our drinks. **Wild thoughts** Kyle made a cocktail he's "been working on" and he needs to put that shxt on the menu asap! So delicious. It was late night and I stayed here about an hour (closed the spot ha) and I was able to enjoy a mini impromptu concert by another patron Ebony, as Kyle was sweet enough to play some of her music. All in all, a perfect end to my evening. High recommendation for Rye. The End.

No bartender in sight, no other patrons, no background noise. For a moment, we genuinely wondered if we were in the right place. The bar is down a flight of stairs, tucked into the basement, and it's notable because it's Fells Point's only and possibly first basement bar, which already gives it serious character points. We waited near the bar for a few minutes, heard nothing, saw no one, and eventually started heading back up the stairs to leave. That's when Steve, the bartender, literally came after usnot in a weird way, but in a very human, "Hey! Sorry about that, I was in the stock room come back in!" way. And honestly? From that moment on, the experience completely flipped. Steve was phenomenal. Friendly, welcoming, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the place. He's worked there for 18 years, and once we sat down, he turned the bar into a living history lesson. He shared stories about Fells Point, Baltimore, Edgar Allan Poe, the building itself, and all the ghost stories tied to the space. He also told us about the celebrities who've passed through, including the fun detail that Blake Shelton once sat in the very bar stool I was sitting in and ordered a Bullet bourbon. Naturally, that kind of trivia just adds to the charm. Drink-wise, I ordered an Angry Orchard, and my friend had a single Tito's with cranberry and soda water. Our total was $26.16, which feels pretty standard for Baltimore definitely not cheap, but not shocking either. The bar itself is small, intimate, and packed with atmosphere exposed brick, low ceilings, and that cozy, historic, slightly haunted vibe you hope for in a basement bar. It's also connected to The William Fell Inn hotel through a separate entrance, which makes it feel like a hidden secret rather than a tourist stop. We loved the history, the stories, the ghosts, the setting and especially Steve. Being the only patrons that night was actually a gift, because it let us really soak it all in. That said, we're absolutely planning to come back on a busy night to see how the energy shifts when it's full. If you love historic bars, good storytelling, and places that feel like they've seen things Anchor Bar is a must. ‍
