I found one of the sexiest bars in the city (only second to Bloom's). The candlelit ambiance creates the perfect setting for a solo sip, a toast with the girls or a late night nightcap. The mixologists perfectly mix and pour every cocktail curated with intention. Note that the drinks are not strong but very well balanced and tasty. Do not come here expecting to get intoxicated. This is a very casual sip

Think romantic, candlelit vibes! Very cozy atmosphere, though a shawl or sweater is almost needed in the back by the AC. Went earlier in the night before the crowd and enjoyed the instrumental backdrop to our conversations and sips on the cocktails. I had the Coral Wig Sour which I really enjoyed the smoothness followed by the sour. Would go again!

Drinks: strong!! The coral wig sour was our groups favorite. Service: relatively fast. Ambiance: this place is always packed and pretty small. Get there early if you want a seat or be ready to stand. Also it's dark in here, like "hold the candle to the menu to see it" dark, which definitely contributes to the intimate vibe.

Love everything about this bar and area! If you're worried about parking, don't be. There is street parking available and a parking lot across the street! This little corner of the city is definitely alive at night with multiple bars and restaurants so walking to and from your car feels safe and comfortable. Depending on what time you go to the Coral Wig, you might get a seat at the bar, you might get lucky enough for their adorable cozy tables or you might have to stand and wait. No matter, you'll be greeted with great service and delicious cocktails. Their drinks are fun and unique! Even the glassware is amazing. It is such a nice bar for a date night or girls night. Can't wait to go back to try more drinks.

Chill speakeasy vibe. We ordered a couple of craft cocktails and they were both 10/10. All that's missing was a nice playlist.

If you're looking for a place to do it dim the lighting in good drinks this is perfect for you. The drinks are not too strong and not too sweet a good balance.

One of my favorite bars in Baltimore! Speakeasy vibes with a calm, dimly lit environment. Lovely decor as well. The service was good and the drinks were wonderful. The selection has some interesting options to try. If you have a group there might not be enough seating because everyone wants to check this place out.

The service was great; the bartender gave us a few recommendations. I probably won't be back, or perhaps this would only be the last stop for the night. The ambiance is nice, but it's too dark and small for comfort. If you are claustrophobic, this is not the place for you. I ordered an Officers' Club in replacement of an espresso martini. It was sweet, almost dessert-like, similar to a White Russian but with an earthy flavor, if that makes sense. My friend ordered a lemon drop, but it was not good. It had a lot of honey and lemon, and it almost tasted like a Starbucks green tea lemonade refresher with loads of honey.

I finally checked out the fantastic wig of coral! We had the spirit free cocktails (mocktails) and really enjoyed them. I loved the ginger scotch bonnet one and my friend had a guava flavored one. Both were absolutely fantastic. The ambiance was beautiful. I want to make all of the lamps!!! The service was super fast, knowledgable and really nice. I have an allergy and they took the time to make sure the ingredients were safe for me. I am definitely going to go again and try more things. The music was also really great too.

I almost don't want to write this review because The Coral Wig is the kind of place you want to keep a secret--but it's too good not to share! My husband and I decided to check out this sexy little speakeasy, and we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the bartender. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, perfect for a quiet drink or a romantic evening. We found a spot in the corner, which felt just right for soaking in the vibe. We tried two drinks, and I couldn't resist snapping a few pictures (though it's tempting to keep this gem off the radar!). A word of advice: it's a small space, so it can get crowded quickly. Luckily, we arrived just in time to grab a spot. If you're lucky enough to find The Coral Wig, enjoy--but don't tell too many people. Let's keep this little treasure just for those in the know!

Love the Coral Wig! Cocktails are excellently crafted & for the quality they are a great price. They do not serve food however, so eat before you go. Service is awesome, it's gets really crowded at times but the bartenders do a great job of being attentive to everyone. The atmosphere is dark mysterious and a lovely vibe. Perfect for date night or a solo night cap. Highly recommend checking them out.

This place was interesting. I was excited to try it and recently came, but not sure I would visit again. It's hard to find, but luckily, I read the reviews. It's in the alley adjacent to the Ulysses hotel. Parking isn't terrible - got a spot right out front. It's very dark in here. Seating is first come, first serve. It was so dark that we couldn't even see the menu. It's only drinks. No food, but there are nearby options. My reason for this 3-star review is the confusion about how service works. We sat at a table, but no sever came up to us. Went to the bar to place an oder. While we sat at the table, we had observed patrons being brought their drinks. Not the case for us. We had to get up and get them from the bar. Went several times to check before finally getting them. The drinks were just ok. Ehh!

There is a secret black door to enter. You can make reservations however, I was unaware that reservations were needed. We waited for about 20 minutes before a table opened up. When we entered I was expecting to give a password but it was not needed...lol. It was a little chilly in there and the lady at the desk when we walked in the door was keeping warm with her small heater. I asked where we could sit and she said anywhere. So we sat down in these large egg shaped seats which were really comfortable. Our waiter was really knowledgeable on the menu and suggested some great drinks. We did not try the food as it was past the restaurant hours being open and we had already eaten at a restaurant in the alleyway. I will be doing a review on that Italian restaurant soon because it was really good. I loved the whole speakeasy vibe and the music was amazing. One of the few places that stayed open to 2am...my birthday ended in an awesome surprise! When back in Baltimore will definitely stop in again maybe to try a bite with a drink.

This bar is inside the Hotel Ulysses, once entering the lobby, it's up the stairs and on the right. The dimly lit, mirror covered walls, and plush velvet seating adds to the upscale vibes. We were quickly attended to by a server and placed an order for drinks. My mom got a drink that included something called shrub (never heard of this before), but the server warned us it is a bit vinager-y and different, but that was ok for us. I ordered the Ocha Kudasai and my mom got the Zahara. The Kudasai was like a lychee green tea drink, it was light, slightly sweet, and delicious. The Zahara was different (as promised), but actually delectable. It had a flavor that I had never had in a drink before, but in a pleasant way. If you're an adventurous drinker, definitely try the Zahara! Love the vibes here, I will definitely be back.

Found this place on Yelp. It's inside the Ulysses hotel. It's really posh, and probably great for a date or a girls' night out. We chose to sit at the bar and leave the intimate spaces for people who were in that mood. Bartenders were really friendly and helpful and attentive and knowledgeable. I think we ended up with the Delorean and the Walking Iris, and shared the mini crabcakes. All were very good.
