Quick drink after an event led us to sugarvale! We each ordered one cocktail, the bartender was great and we quickly had some delicious drinks in hand to take outside and enjoy the night! I thought they were a little expensive, each was $15 which is a little higher than I'm used to, especially since one was a smaller cocktail. They had indoor and outdoor seating which was nice. Overall would go try more!

Sugarvale was so cute and just what I needed to end the night. The had food but all I got was a drink. The drinks had cute names and were so pretty. I tried a drink with rum called the "Beach Dip" . The inside was dimly lit with a small bar area and seats around. They also had benches outside.

I've been to this venue multiple times over the years and they never disappoint. This basement restaurant has a very cool urban atmosphere and you don't feel like you are below ground. Since I'm not much of a cocktail drinker, I can't comment on the drinks from here other than to say my friends appear to enjoy their cocktails very much. There's also a ton of seating outside, and I love taking advantage of those seats when the weather is nice. My past recent visit, I got a slice of the Damn Good Pie...not sure what I was on that day, but that pie is named properly. The buttermilk tart gives a cheesecake vibe and texture and the crust was a nice finish. Definitely an enjoyable visit!

I really enjoyed dropping by Sugarvale recently! The ambiance is very intimate, with the door feeling slightly hidden going down to the basement level, and dim lighting plus candles lit at every table. I went in on a Sunday so there was all-day happy hour, so the drinks were very affordable! However, the food options are very limited on Sundays--I was excited to get the Spicy-G Mac and Cheese (the same one from Dooby's I think) and the KFC Buns, but will have to come and get it another day. There usually is Guacamole and Yucca Chips on Sundays, but unfortunately they said they were out of food for the weekend when we asked about them. There was seating both at the bar and at a few tables on the sides, but it probably would get filled up quickly with much of a crowd. The service was quick and great; we were given water as soon as we sat down and also handed menus. I'm not really great at ordering cocktails, so I asked the bartender for his recommendations for a drink that is sweet and fruity, and he suggested the Amaro Daiquiri. I thought it was delicious and hit the sweet and fruity notes while still being pretty strong. My friend got the Mezcal Paloma and she liked it as well. Something cool to note is that all the shaken drinks can be made into mocktails upon request too. It seems like a great place for a small catch-up with friends or for a date night after dinner. I definitely will be back for happy hour, but probably wouldn't come on Sunday just because I want to have a chance to try out the food menu!

Sugarvale has some fun cocktails and drink options. They have both indoor at outdoor seating. The drinks were great, everybody enjoyed the cocktail that they ordered. I will say it took a little bit time to have the drinks prepared as there was only one person at the bar. They have some small bite available as well. I would not order the Mac and cheese as it barely had any cheese sauce. The kfc buns however were delicious. The pie was also a nice sweet treat.

We walked down after leaving another packed bar not too far away. Super intimate bar with unique cocktails. The Kapaa's Cup I order was spirit forward, but a bit salty for my taste. I ordered the Hurricane something (the featured cocktails change) was delish. It was a guava tiki style cocktail that drank really easy.

Sugarvale has a calm ambiance with a floral and fairy light ceiling. My favorite food were the KFC buns and the all the drinks were well balanced. The bartenders were friendly and great to chat with.

Sugarvale is one of those places that you know is going to be a good time and the perfect place to set the tone for the night. I always know I am going to get a good cocktail with good service and be met with good company. The interior is cozy and warm and the staff is so attentive and creative with the drinks they create. Normally I'll do a menu drink then go to one of my typical bar drinks but here I always want to try everything they create. I always know its going to be a good night when we start here. On the other hand their bar food comes over from doobys so you know its going to be good. Last time I came I got wings and I wanted to stay longer just to order more! so come for the drinks, stay for the vibes and get food!

First stop on our pub tour. Got the really fun guy and alien love call cocktails. They made the drinks fast and yummy. The really fun guy is a great combination for the more bitter flavors and the alien love call was yummy with a bit more sour. Not margarita sour, it's great.

Went on a whim to try this place out and I'm glad I did. I came alone however I had good small talk with the bartender. Their menu changes based on the seasons which I enjoy. I tried the Kuromi Koffee which is their flair of an espresso martini. The flavors were amazing as It reminded me of a salted caramel drink. I'll definitely be back

This was the first stop on a spooky pub tour. Imagine my surprise walking into this swanky establishment expecting a pub. The drinks are very unique and yummy. Our group had four different beverages and enjoyed all of them. The drinks do have an elegant touch, so this would be a great place for a date night. Highly recommend!

Sitting outside with a glass of wine while overlooking the harbor is hard to beat. They even have a designated area if you want to enjoy a cigar, which adds to the experience. The service has always been on point--staff is welcoming and attentive. My favorite is the frozen summer drinks with lavender. They're made like slushies and are strong (2 of these and you will be done for the evening) The wine is okay!! though not necessarily the highlight in my opinion. My biggest critique would be the small plates menu. There's a real opportunity here--expanding the food options would take this place to the next level and truly make it a complete experience.

When we arrived, we were the only ones there, and there was one staff member working. That said, she came over immediately, brought us menus, and made the experience feel welcoming right away. We had to ask about tastings and she poured us about four different wines to try, which was a really nice touch and made the experience feel relaxed. We liked a few of the wines and ended up purchasing a bottle of Honor Cava Brut Rosato for $32.99. Solid choice. Nothing mind-blowing, but enjoyable and fairly priced for the setting. The space itself felt calm and cozy, especially with the fireplace and wine displays, but at the time we were there it didn't have a ton of energy or buzz. To be fair, it was early in the day, so I can absolutely see this place feeling very different in the evening or on a weekend when the patio and waterfront vibe are in full swing. V-NO is a pleasant, low pressure wine stop with friendly service, a thoughtful tasting experience, and a beautiful waterfront location. It may not scream "vibes" during slower daytime hours, but it's an easy place to relax, learn what you like, and enjoy a glass (or a bottle) without feeling rushed. I'd definitely come back later in the day to see it come to life.

The ambiance is beautiful, with a vintage yet elegant feel, a cozy fireplace, and stunning chandeliers. We had a 630pm reservation and by the time we got there things were already busy, but that made for a warm and cozy atmosphere on a damp Friday night - good start. We were seated promptly and soon after our waiter arrived, went through the specials, etc. For our food we split the Crispy Shrimp & Corn Patties, Pork Lumpia, Typhoon Fries, Gochujang Tteokbokki, and the Grill Duck Tonbori. The shrimp & corn patties stole the show - get them; unfortunately, they outclassed the rest of the food which probably contributes to this rating. The pork lumpia was great, but we both felt the serving size was a tad small (even for tapas). Fries were also good but we screwed up by not including any add-ons - will change that next time. The duck was perfectly cooked, and yet underwhelming. I can't point to why - maybe it was just a personal preference. Gochujang Tteokbokki reminded me of one of my favorite DC plates (shoutout Roses Luxury) and I only wish it had more of that delicious duck bacon. You should go here - this place rocks - and it feels so so close to being a truly remarkable experience. We're going to keep an eye on the menu and will look to head back in a few months.
