Sweet new spot in Lauraville, just north of the Safeway on Harford Roas. The Den's main vibe is cocktail bar, though beer and wine are available as well. The location is the former home of Wilson's Tavern and has been nicely renovated. The house cocktail menu is interesting and accessible. I'm not generally a mixed drink aficionado but found several nice choices. I ultimately had a St. Patrick's Day special called "Kiss Me I'm Irish" which was un-effin-believable. Vanilla vodka, Creme de Menthe, Irish Cream, and chocolate. Holy crap. No food service yet, but you are currently welcome to bring your own food. Service was as awesome as the drink from owner/bartender Mike and his assistant. Can't wait to return!!!!

Such a vibe! Pulled up with my male friend and we had the BEST time. Mike Jones (lol) is literally the best bartender on this side of town--hands down. His energy, customer service, and drink game? Top tier. The vibes were unmatched from start to finish. We'll definitely be back. Love it there!

The service was good. Glad they added food to their menu. The ambience is nice but small.

The ambiance was fantastic for a sunny day. We were able to sit outside and enjoy some cocktails while taking in the sun and the scenery. The also have a tavern which I didn't get to check out but will check out next time. The service was great. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. He told us a little history of the wine bar and gave great recommendations for drinks and food. I ordered a whisky sour and for food we had potatoes, beats and a delicious slaw. It was a great experience. If you are looking for a chill relaxing wine bar then Fadensonnen is the place for you. I really liked that they not only served wine but also cocktails and beer. I will definitely be back soon. Cheers!

I really liked the vibe of the space. The breeze under the pavilion was the perfect accompaniment to the evening, and there was plenty of seating. I did feel like the food portions were a little small for the price, but I enjoyed the chicken and potatoes. I also wish more of the wine selection was available by the glass instead of only the specialty wines by the bottle because we ended up choosing from the house wine options. I did have a glass of sparkling wine, which was really good. I'm planning to come back with a friend to give it another try. It's considered a Baltimore classic, so I'd love to experience it again and get a little more context on what keeps people coming back.

What an experience. I really wish this restaurant was in Gaithersburg. But maybe if it was it…read morewouldn't be as special. Sunday was my first time trying this restaurant and it was great. My friends suggested that we dine here for restaurant week which was a sweet idea. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendly hostess who took us to our seats. Then our waiter explained the menu and gave us some time to decided what menu we wanted to order from (Restaurant week brunch menu or regular menu). We chose the brunch menu. For the brunch menu we were able to choose a appetizer, entree, and a dessert for $35.00. Not too bad. For drinks I ordered PIRATE PRINCESS which was Ron del Barrilito 2 Star Puerto Rican rum, passionfruit, miso honey, lime, and togarash. It was a perfect balance of sweetness and a little bitterness. For food we ordered the shrimp and corn patties, and the pan roasted salmon. The shrimp and corn patties were delicious. It was packed with multiple flavors and it was seasoned really well. The pan roasted salmon was cooked to perfection. It was flaky, and seasoned very well. It came with Ramen noodles that I thought were going to be temperature hot however, they came room temperature which was fine. They were seasoned very well. The ambiance was very nice. It gave like 1950's/ 1970's vibe. Old marble tables, antique pictures on the walls. It seemed like the building use to be a house prior to it becoming a restaurant. It was a great time. If you are in the Hampden area I recommend giving this restaurant a try. I am looking forward to visiting again for dinner. Cheers!!

But before we get to the food let me start with the customer service from the second you arrive and the young man working valet parked our car to the second he brought it back you felt like you were a VIP. The valet, the host, the servers and the managers all make you feel like you're the most important guest in the building, regardless of how many other guests and parties are there. I was impressed with the service and felt so cared for and the server answered all of our questions and explained everything in great detail so I knew exactly what I was getting. And the atmosphere is one in a million, I felt like I was at a neighborhood hangout but also eating in a royal dining room. I love the attention to detail. So now to the food + drinks. I am not a drinker so I asked for mocktail recommendations and ended up with the POG it was served in a SPAM can and was so delicious it was passion fruit, orange and guava drink and was not just delicious but also beautiful! Now to the appetizer we ordered Spam Musubi and it felt like an explosion in my mouth, it was so delicious and like nothing I've ever tasted. For dinner, I had a delicious dish Gochujang Tteokbokki again melt in my mouth deliciousness and not something I would have ever thought to order. We ended the meal with dessert we ordered one of everything and shared and there wasn't a crumb left. If I could give them 10++ stars I would and this will definitely be a return place for us! I am so glad that I was able to try foods I wouldn't normally eat, but also experience upscale service in a neighborhood vibey space! Keep up the good work, Duchess!

I tried a glass of the 2024 Karl Josef Piesporter, and it was sweet without being overwhelming. It has a laid back vibe, so there's no rush to leave. It's a great place to sit and chat for a while. They're dog friendly, though I will say the dog next to us got a little active with their friend, which was a bit distracting. Overall, it still had a quaint atmosphere. The service was on the slower side, but we weren't in a rush. Just keep that in mind if you're looking for a quicker stop because this spot might not be your best pick. I really enjoyed the wine and the waterfront views, so I'll definitely be back!

We ordered two vodka lemonades and two spicy margaritas. A little later he brought out a cheese board and said he was training someone, they had made an extra one, and he wanted us to have it for free. Super nice of him! We sat there enjoying our drinks, the cheese board, and watching the Blue Angels fly by. Great atmosphere. When we asked for the bill it was $73. Keep in mind, that's for four drinks because everything else was given to us for free. We never asked for the peach drink or the cheese board--he offered them. We paid the bill and left a good tip, but come on...$73 for four basic drinks is crazy. Just be aware if you're stopping in. The drinks are not cheap. Even with the free extras, it didn't feel like a good value.

The place looks like it changed its model from restaurant to bar food & pizzeria menu. The old place had a chef picking items from the garden and changed its menus daily. I am sad about that. One look at the front page of their menu tells me we are eating from the delivery truck with dressed plates. But keep in mind they are using a different work model which may work better on my wallet. Other points; I also noticed their liquor store is expanding so this may be a welcomed addition/place for them to make their money. They are open on Sunday for takeaways. Finally, nothing has changed as yet about their beers on tap. They offer a good variety of beers, from tap to bottle or can. I am interested to see if the clientele change for the better.?.

The place was ready for us, when we said we would be there a little early. And our waiter, Manny (I think he's the only waiter), did his thing again. He brought out a really good mixed drink for my friend, which she really enjoyed. And he bougied up some sprites for my other two friends, which made them feel nice and fancy. I enjoyed my appetizer sampler. I'm not crazy about Pretzles - but this pretzel was fresh and sooooo delicious! Like a soft cloud, I just had to share. The shrimp tempura was also very good. It was a good choice for me. I was pretty comfortable after that, so I got some chicken wings for my main course, with more Thai chili sauce. The wings were really really good, though I'm not a drum stick fan. If I could go back and just have flats I would. But they were finger-licking good. The music from the bar next door wasn't too loud, as I remember last time. Everyone enjoyed their appetizers (got another believer in the Brussels sprouts, the soup was still faithful, and the tater tots made you wanna slap somebody's mama). I appreciate that everything always comes out hot at Reds. No one is getting anything cold unless that's how it's served! Really pretty and chill vibe to the place too. You can dress formal, or be dressy casual, or just plain. You'll never feel like you don't belong there. Just a good place to be. Always enjoy it there.
