Gathering spot for locals where pretty much everyone knows your name. Full bar/wine bar with very good small bites. Menu changes often but is usually very creative. The bar is located in Belvedere Square where after drinks, you can get pizza, ramen, baked goods, seafood, smoked items, fermented foods, ice cream, and sandwiches within the shops here.

I've been to Grant Cru a few times for happy hour and always had a great experience. I think I've had the house red wine each time - tasty, reliable, and decently priced. Friends have raved about the cocktails and we've had great times enjoying the chance to sit in the booth areas and catch up. I'm a fan, and I'll be back!

Conveniently located next to Belvedere Square. Went to grab a couple bottles of wine and Prosecco and didn't realize it was also a bar. If I didn't have bags in my hands from the market, I would've stayed for a glass. They had what I wanted at a reasonable price and provided great customer service. Would definitely pop back in.

Part wine store and part wine bar. They have a small kitchen for lite bites as be hard to do a full meal. They were out of French Onion Soup the Night I was there. I got the basque bites which tasted mostly of the peppers as they overpowered the anchovy. The ham and cheese was good though on the small side. They should invest in some gloves for the cook as was touching the ready to eat food with his bare hands. Did use tongs for the anchovy and pickled vegetable. Overall food would get a three stars. It is a wine bar and had decent selection by glass and most were affordable as had two chards with more expensive one costing 12. Both my old fashioned cocktail and dogfish stout were good. There beer list if mostly craft but one person in party was able to get a miller lite in a can. Place has decent size bar and a number of tables and high Tops. This is a good place to go after seeing a movie at the senator. Just make sure had filling meal before hand.

If you're lost in this area please give this place a shot, you will not regret it... A local hangout that uses the local resources, the cheeses, crab meat, beard and meat are sourced locally. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the beer was great and the recommended crab dip was a winner. And the locals are so friendly, 3 different locals welcomed me to this place !!!!!

After drinking here for 8 years, its time I provide a review. A friend introduced me to the place, and we started drinking together with spouses and friends. It is a true "third place" where, for many years, everbody knew your name. Unfortunately, the heart and soul of the place, Nelson Carey, died suddenly. Since that moment, the venue has undergone a transformation. This has both good and bad elements. The once quirky yet comprehensive wine selection has gone sideways. The beer has improved with one exception, but beer everywhere is improving. The once top class liquor selection is now quirky. The food has some good moments as well. I do miss the padron peppers. However, the popcorn is great, except there is none tonight and apparently for several months. What, only one place in Maryland makes organic local source popcorn? The flatbreads leave much to be desired, but many of the other selections are supurb. To everyone's benefit, you can order food through the market. While this is good, I still have revery about the past. Only dragons are forever. Eat well, tip well.

The ambiance is beautiful, with a vintage yet elegant feel, a cozy fireplace, and stunning chandeliers. Tessa, the general manager, was warm and welcoming, and our server, Zoe, was kind, attentive, and very helpful in guiding us through the menu. The food was fantastic! I highly recommend the Short Rib Kare Kare, the broccolini, and the award-winning Crispy Shrimp & Corn Patties. For dessert the chocolate Namalaka was a fave!

The crispy shrimp and corn patties were like a crispy takoyaki so actually pretty good and the Mac and caviar was like a cold macaroni salad also pretty good just not impressive for a nice dinner. Was really looking forward to trying their duck confit chilakiles, but they ran out unfortunately. A little surprising since it's many hours before they close. I was considering coming again to try the duck confit, but after trying everything else I'm not sure it's worth the drive here since I'm not from the baltimore area. Their grilled ahi tuna was done well and the sauce was really good. The garlic soy shrimp pancit had good textures and flavour as well. The nori butter tteokbokki was lacking in flavour a little. Missed a bit of acidity to balance out the cream. Desserts were also just okay. I'm usually a sweets person, but I was kind of disappointed. The carrot mochi cake was strange, the texture was good, but the flavours did not mesh well together and I was confused what I was eating. The latiya was dry. The shaved ice was pretty refreshing but not impressing. The Ube flan was good though!

It wasn't packed but my drink took a while to come out. It was okay but nothing special. I don't remember the name. Although my waitress didn't ask how I wanted my lamb chops, they were too rare for my liking. So, I didn't eat it and decided I'd cook it more at home. The Mac and cheese was very dry. I didn't eat all of it and did not enjoy the texture. The greens were not good at all. I think wayyy too much vinegar. Oddly enough when I got home I put a lot of hot sauce in it. It enhanced it a little but still not " good". Overall, I was disappointed in my meal and I don't think I would return. I think they were supposed to to have live music but it was just two people setting up/ DJing. I was just underwhelmed by the food and the decor.

Sitting outside with a glass of wine while overlooking the harbor is hard to beat. They even have a designated area if you want to enjoy a cigar, which adds to the experience. They're made like slushies and are strong (2 of these and you will be done for the evening) The wine is okay!! though not necessarily the highlight in my opinion. We liked a few of the wines and ended up purchasing a bottle of Honor Cava Brut Rosato for $32.99. Solid choice. Nothing mind-blowing, but enjoyable and fairly priced for the setting. The space itself felt calm and cozy, especially with the fireplace and wine displays, but at the time we were there it didn't have a ton of energy or buzz. To be fair, it was early in the day, so I can absolutely see this place feeling very different in the evening or on a weekend when the patio and waterfront vibe are in full swing. V-NO is a pleasant, low pressure wine stop with friendly service, a thoughtful tasting experience, and a beautiful waterfront location. It may not scream "vibes" during slower daytime hours, but it's an easy place to relax, learn what you like, and enjoy a glass (or a bottle) without feeling rushed. I'd definitely come back later in the day to see it come to life.

I do wish they'd keep the coffee types in their own sections like my favorite cafés so I don't have to weed out such drivel as teas and lesser morning liquid mood enhancers. However, I was thrilled beyond belief that although it wasn't on the menu and the server didn't know what a flat white (my favorite "new" caffeine drink) was, the barista who came over did and their version was fine. Mom and I ordered an eggs Benedict and BLT--both with avocado and a side of modest mayo-y coleslaw with celery seed, a chai latte, flat white and a mimosa (other flavors exist as well). This is Puerto Rican pitorro, also known as ron cañita, made with care and intention rather than gimmickry. Many local liquor stores now carry the brand, and it is well worth picking up a bottle, but visiting the distillery is an experience in itself. The founder is a fellow Puerto Rican born retired military member, a background I share, and like me, he has put down roots in Maryland. That story is reflected clearly in the brand's own framing, "Puerto Rican born, Maryland made." The space feels grounded and unpretentious, and that sensibility carries through to the hospitality. We arrived late on a Saturday and were still welcomed warmly, never rushed. We were taken care of by the founder's daughter, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. She guided us through a flight that included the traditional pitorro, almond, pineapple, coffee, coconut chai, and several seasonal offerings. The flavors were thoughtful and well balanced; even the infused expressions retained a clear rum backbone rather than drifting into novelty. We enjoyed them enough to leave with several bottles. This is artisanal pitorro done right, rooted in Puerto Rican tradition and confidently made in Maryland.
