MY FAVORITE BAR!!! This one and the game on in Columbia since I live right there. There is nothing bad I can say about this place. I'm glad they moved to where the old banditos used to be at. It's way bigger, it feels like a club and bar scene now and not a closet. I love the staff, they're all a lot of fun, and I love the food! The fried pickles are addicting so beware. I will say the drinks are a little pricey, HOWEVER, they're signature cocktails, so it's more than just pouring a shot into a glass and dating here you go. You can order something like that if you want to, but the drinks are really good. Our kids loved this place, located right in Federal Hill. We've been to the other locations of this chain including Anapolis, and right off 14th Street in Washington. The bar is pretty tiny, but it had the basics like Skee-ball, arcade games and a fun open back patio with free games like a gigantic Jenga and connect four. What a fun addition to the area. These type of bars are popping up more and more and it's so fun to have access to some of the vintage games that most of us grew up playing. The atmosphere of the bar/arcade is fun for sure and great not just for adults but for kids as well! Such a great place if you're looking for something to do with your kids or a large group as everyone can jump around playing whatever they like. The service here is amazing too! The ladies at the bar were interactive and did not shy if you had a question or issues (like I did with the one machine not working properly). The only thing is the drinks. Most of the drinks are pre-made and while some accommodations can be made, for the price they're charging, I personally did not think they were worth it. The beers on the other hand might be more appropriate for the cost. We booked this venue for a private event and loved everything about it. The staff was incredibly helpful, bar food was tasty and kept on coming the whole night. Impressive beer selection. All the arcade games worked. People loved the photo booth in the back. The DJ booth and screen were a hub for the whole party. The space was the perfect size for 75 people. Came for the 5.00 Green Tea shots, stayed for the Quarter games. Recently hit GameOn on a Saturday and wasnt disappointed. I arrive at about 8ish. It started getting really packed about 9. While here had the GreenTea shots, wings and fries. 1st round of green tea shots were perfection and the serving size was great. 2nd round was in communion-esque cups that barely wet your teeth. LOL. I checked this spot out last weekend for the second time. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the bartender which was nice. The first floor was pretty crowded, and the space is a bit small so I headed to the top floor which is where the speakeasy part is located. It was pretty deserted up there, but the bartender was extremely friendly and had some great recommendations based on the specialty cocktails on the speakeasy menu. Ultimately, I opted for my standard tequila/sprite order and called it a day. I didn't have any coins or cash to convert to coins so I wasn't able to play any of the games, but there were tons of machines and games to choose from. This place has so much potential and would really be a fun summer hangout if they had any sort of outdoor space. It's a bit dark and cramped for the summer. It's about time a barcade has come to Federal Hill. The entire decor of the place really brought back '90s video game vibes. They have graffiti'd wall paintings from Super Mario to The Simpsons. The entire place really created a nostalgic atmosphere. Although the beer prices, in my opinion, are a bit on the higher end ($7 can beer and $6 draft beer), they also serve $7 slushies, $5 Jell-O shots, $11 crushes, specialty cocktails ranging from $11-$13, and both bottles and glass of wine. The bar itself has three floors. The first two floors have a bar and arcade games. The second floor also has two pinball machines, an NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) , and foosball. The third floor is a speakeasy with a lounge area. Unfortunately, the speakeasy wasn't open on Sunday. The downside was that a few of the arcade games were faulty. For instance, the Ninja Turtle game is a 4-player game, but you can only one person can play and that too, as Donatello. I lost some quarters trying to play 2 player that game. There was also a Time Crisis shooting game that was unfortunately also only one player because the other gun didn't work. Overall, it's really nice to see a barcade show up in Federal Hill. On Mondays they are closed, but otherwise they stay open til 2 AM. They have coin machines to give out quarters as well. It's a great place to hangout with friends or to go out on a date night. I had a great time here this past weekend celebrating my brother's birthday! I cannot recommend them enough, we had a lot of fun!! They are affordable, in a great space and convenient location, and service is good too. You can find people who also have similar interests playing games so it can be a nice place to go and socialize. They offer alcoholic drinks so it's not a place I would recommend to bring kids, it's more adult focused, but kids are allowed and one was there when I was there. There are two levels with stairs and no elevator, so be mindful of that if you have any mobility issues. Plenty of seating at the bar and upstairs if you wanted to bring a group, and most games are veryyy affordable. You could come here with only $10-15 and play to your heart's content. $30-40 is enough for food and games, depending on how much food you want, and how many games you want to play. The only thing to be very mindful of is parking! A lot of the parking is permit or private parking so be prepared to pay for meter parking, which is available right out front and across the street. Read the signs! They have handicapped parking as well. I paid $12 for a personal pizza that seemed very close to a regular sized pizza, $3 for a TMNT popsicle, and my Mom got French fries. They serve typical bar food but it was all really good. They have traditional arcade games like PacMan, Gran Turismo, and pinball games. They even have a screen & controllers to play Mario Kart. Visited GameOn with friends and had a great time! They have a fun drink menu that made it hard to choose from! I ended up trying the Level 2 Slushie and a Strawberry Jello Shot. The Level 2 Slushie was great, and sweet just how I wanted. The Strawberry Jello Shot came in a syringe which was funny! As for food, we had the pretzels with beer cheese and the chips and French onion dip. They were both good and your classic bar food snacks. They also had more food options and dessert options that we will have to try another time! It seems like these Game Ons are popping up everywhere (I just passed by one in Annapolis). I can't complain though--I love a good arcade/barcade. This place gives off old school arcade vibes. There's a machine that breaks your dollars into quarters, classic arcade and pinball machines as you'd expect, and fun artistic riffs on classic arcade/comic book characters on the walls. Came with a group of friends last night and had a lot of fun! Plenty of free 2 hour street parking just a block away. Others have described the place pretty well, but I really loved the artwork. Great variety of different games--some are free, others require quarters but are cheap enough. We also had issues getting the multiplayer to work on a few games (and subsequently lost a few quarters to the machine), but no biggie. All in all, a great time and such a cool place! read more

We stopped by GameOn with our kiddos during a rainy day in Baltimore. We were in town for a few hours and wanted to find something to do to fill the time that wasn't in the Inner Harbor, which we assumed would be crowded. GameOn was perfect- my hubs and I grabbed a quick craft beer and the kids cashed in all our bills for tokens. They had a wide variety of games from old school arcade games to skee ball to pin ball. Our kids loved the Pin Ball. At $1 a pop it was a bit pricey for the old-school arcade vibe, but was fairly priced when compared to other games. The Skee Ball was $1 as well which seemed absurd. Most of the machine-style games were 1-3 tokens. For a quick activity it did the trick - we would definitely visit here again if the need arose (meaning when we're being tourists, we like to be outside as much as possible, but if it is rainy or cold, this is a great stop!). read more

Fun bar! Only the first two floors were open on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered a beer and a fruit punch and both were great. There were tons of games on each floor, as well as coin machines. We enjoyed playing the games, like pac man and big buck hunter. Most of the games were about 50 cents a game. It did feel like there wasn't a lot of space on the two floors- as we were leaving, two larger groups came in and it felt a bit crowded. Apparently there is a third floor with a lounge, which might accommodate bigger groups. But otherwise, we had a lot of fun coming in on an off time and playing some games with a drink. Alright so first off is props to them for opening up a barcade! We definitely need more of them in Baltimore and they've got some fun and solid games. I went on a preview night and the vibe and decorations are great and the drinks were good overall (some bartenders still learning their thing so some were a big miss) and the food available was extremely simple and limited but fine. I worry about the flow if it was a crowded night and they need some more pinball, but nothing that worried me too much. When I was there during the beginning my experiences was great. Once the second shift manager came in the whole atmosphere changed. He begin to tell me that my children was asking other people for token. Which wasn't the case, he only asked me. Which made me feel like he was picking on my and my children do to the fact that me and my children are black. When I confronted him about it he told me that I was threatening him. He called the police on me and my children. I was in the establishment for more the 4 hourse before he got there. It was fine for me to spend $150 there but not good enough for me to be treated like a person. The police was also very racist. They wasn't trying to give me any of my food that I paid for either. The disrespect was just ridiculous. All I wanted was to take my children on an outing and ended up with an experience that I will never forget. read more
