Ordered a custom gender reveal heart cake and it was sooo perfect!! Service was great and they detailed everything. I would definitely recommend meringue cake studio!

Went here for breakfast and I had a breakfast sandwich on challah bread. It was delicious! My partner had the Powerhouse and she loved it as well. She was disappointed with the options they had for coffee. Certainly the best part about this place are the desserts! Holy moly. I just wanted to have one of each! I tried their key lime cheesecake (my mom ordered this) and I had the cookie butter mousse torte. Both were perfection!

Meringue cake studio is more than just a bakery, it's also a cafe. From custom cakes to yummy breakfast sandwiches and homemade soups. Trust and believe there is something for everyone. Here is what I ordered: Food House BLT - you can add fried eggs and avocado and you can choose any bread you like (made fresh). I love a classic BLT and it was very good with Smoked Gouda Drink Black Raven French coffee - tasted a little hint of chocolate. They also do wedding cake tasting and special occasion cakes

I've gotten some goodies from cake studio twice now and unfortunately both times things are good but not amazing. Their baked goods look better than they taste and generally are very heavy and feel like they just sit in the pit of your stomach. I also find the set up of the store strange. When you walk in, there's a big menu blackboard on your left, a display case in front with cheesecakes and cupcakes and then a display case behind the counter in a corner with croissants, muffins, etc that's hard to see unless you walk around. It makes it hard to know what the options even are for someone who first walks in. I do wonder if the made to order breakfast/lunch sandwiches might be better than their baked goods. But overall it's decent but doesn't make me crave it again later.

My husband and I stopped by to pick up a mix of desserts for a get together with our friends in New Jersey. We arrived around 10:45 in the morning. The showcase of pastries looked appealing. My husband and I had a hard time deciding which cupcakes to get. We got a mix of cupcakes, a mocha chip brownie, and a cream puff. When we had the desserts around 8pm in the evening, the icing on the cupcakes were half melted or overly soft. Perhaps this was from the long drive. When we got to Jersey it was not refrigerated, but I don't think it needed to be. Also in one of the boxes that had three pastries, the cupcake tipped over and the icing fell off. I think they should have individual cupcake holders to rectify this. I tried the coconut cream cupcake and the peanut butter mousse cupcake. The coconut cream was too sweet for me and the peanut butter cake was on the dry side. Our friend's daughter had the brownie and raved about it. She said it was one of the best brownies she ever had. My husband also loved the cream puff. He would get it again. I wish I had split it with him. All in all, the cupcakes had great potential. Perhaps if it weren't for the long drive it may have tasted better, but not sure if it would have helped the cupcake from being dry. I would definitely come back to try the brownie and cream puff and give the cupcakes another try.

Quaint bakery in Perry hall, has pretty good bakery items (sweet and savory items) and drinks! It's a nice stop to catch up with a friend before you head to grocery shop at the Aldi nearby

Carrot cake cupcake, sliced down the middle. Very good. Icing kind of sweet.

Time and time again, I haven't a clue why I search all around for a decent bakery when I have the loveliest one in my backyard! Meringue Cake Studio has been in the Perry Hall/Nottingham neighborhood for some time, now. It's the cutest bakery! You feel a warmness as soon as you walk in. The workers/bakers are nice. I've visited a few times in the past, to try a few of the items they had to offer. For my first time, I bought a quiche. It was pretty tasty, but to add a little flavor, I added some caramelized onion and tomato pesto (see attached picture). This more recent time, I wanted to treat myself to a nice dessert. I picked up a delicious looking carrot cake cupcake and a slice of Oreo cheesecake. I had no idea which one to choose from, so I bought both. The carrot cake was moist and so tasty. The icing was a bit on the really sweet side, but it was still pretty good. The cheesecake was absolutely decadent, dense, and rich. The flavors of the Oreo and cream cheese blended so perfectly together. The brownie-like bottom was a nice touch. All in all, this place is a must to visit. They have sandwiches and so many cute pastries to try. I'm making my way back soon to try the pineapple upside down cheesecake. It looked a-ma-ZING!

Amazing cakes! Have had many types from here and they're all delicious. Very unique, I've never had a cake taste as good as theirs! We always get our birthday cakes from here and they even did my wedding cake. All the wedding guests raved about it! (We ordered plain white with pearl beading and decorated it ourselves. They do an even better job decorating but we were on a budget)

Delicious diner style shop with varied assortments of food. Service is friendly. I would NOT recommend the Iced chai -it was practically milk & a dash of cinnamon. However, I am looking forward to going back.

Everything was delicious ! Service was great! It is a smaller place so limited seating but so worth it! You can share these meals -sandwiches are big!

My donut and coffee. I took a bite before I remembered I needed to Yelp it.

Decent local, family owned bakery offering breakfast and lunch. A few small tables inside that will seat about 3 people max per table and a couple out front on the sidewalk as well. They have a gorgeous selection of desserts in the front case. Really nice people working too! I got a Boston cream donut and a Snicker coffee. I don't think I'll get the coffee again, but the donut was really good. I also ate half of the boyfriends Gouda and ham quiche which was excellent and I wish I'd gotten one of those instead. I'm glad we have something like this in the area because it reminds me of The Corner Pantry. I will eat here again.

My son and I decided to give this shop a try, its located in the perry hall strip mall, on bel air road. Not only is it a bakery, but there is almost something there to satisfy everyone's palate........ hot beverages, smoothies, breakfast pastries, hot foods and sandwiches, salads, as well as soups. I just loved the décor in the café, it has a very nice and homey feel to it. On the day we visited, it wasn't to busy or crowed. My purchase was for the meat quiche, which consisted of bacon and smoked gouda, it was really delicious, I loved it, to me it was a bit on the salty side, it could have been the type of ham that was used, the price was reasonable $6, to me its well worth it, I loved the crust which was just the right thickness and it was nice and buttery, the quiche texture was nice and smooth, This is most definitely a chill spot.

I noticed Meringue Cake Studio on my weekly trip to Aldi's and decided to pop in to see what they had to offer. Meringue's is a nice addition to the Perry Hall area, offering scratch made baked items, sandwiches, and breakfast fare. Their display case carries an array of baked goodies to draw you in and make you spend all of your money on sweet, yummy, deliciousness. From cheesecake slices and pecan pies to cupcakes and apple tarts. But the treat that stopped me in my tracks was the chocolate glazed brioche donut. It's like if heaven were a donut that could melt in your mouth. So buttery, soft and pillowy. And the chocolate wasn't super sweet, so it didn't make for a cloying sweet donut, which is nice. This donut had class and was sophisticated, if I might say so. Meringue Cake Studio offers an opportunity for locals to grab some of their favorite baked goods, while given them a touch of sophistication. Meringue is a definite must try.

Great desserts. Fun little place, service was a bit slow but it was lunchtime. It was worth the wait.

To be honest the tamago sando was a solid sandwich and maybe i should have toasted it but i was getting it to go to bring while traveling... was nothing mindblowing. however, the guava croissant was AMAZING. the lamination, the texture, that wonderful crunch and fresh guava taste with balanced sweetness brightened up the gloomy day! I happily ate it quite quickly in one sitting after the sando despite how big it was. When I got back to atlanta i tried the chausson aux champignon a bit without it toasted and also toasted and it was TOO GOOD both ways! i enjoyed the mushrooms as they brought soo much good umami goodness to my tastebuds along with the mushroom aioli served with it! I really want to visit baltimore if only for a layover again so i can pickup more delightful pastries! I tried their seasonal brown sugar hojicha coffee latte and that was great as well! and oopsies i forgot to take a picture of the chausson aux champignon but it looks like a turover! although there was a line, i had a lovely conversation with a few nice people in front of me so the wait wasn't bad at all!

I also prefer stuffed doughnuts (like a good Boston cream, etc) but they don't have many options for those. Instead it seems they prefer to put a dollop of the cream in the hole on top. I tried the cookies and cream and the cream cheese in the middle was odd.. it had a stretchy consistency. I like their Cinnamon Toast Crunch one, that one is probably my favorite. They're good and I love the variety but I've had better doughnuts.

There were only 2 people working, so there were a bunch of people waiting for their orders and service was slow. One person was at the cashier, the other was packing doughnuts, making breakfast sandwiches, and the coffees. We waited 5 minutes in line and then another 10-15 minutes for them to pack our 4 donuts. I wanted to get a sandwich but figured the wait was too long. On to the donuts - I liked the blueberry basil and blackberry lime donuts. The blueberry basil flavor wasn't super strong but it was well balanced. The blackberry lime was my favorite - sweet and a little tart. The crobar (croissant-donut) texture was awesome but I did not rally taste the cranberry or orange advertised. The buttercream frosting on top was sickeningly sweet so ended up scraping that off...finally the coffee donut. Not my favorite but not bad - it tasted like instant coffee and was kinda punchy coffee flavor, bitter. But I liked that the bitter offset the sweet. Overall, it's a fun place for a gourmet donut but be sure to not get here when it's too busy and to come early - they sell out of fun flavors fast!
