Diablo Donuts is SO good. I genuinely haven't had one bad thing here. The donuts are always fresh, light, airy, and chewy with the perfect amount of sweetness and such good flavors. The breakfast is just as good. I'm not even an egg person, and I will happily eat their bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. The fried egg is perfect, the bacon and cheese are delicious, and the quiche is amazing too. Even the coffee is good! On top of the food, everyone is always incredibly friendly and welcoming. These are easily the best donuts I've had in the Baltimore area. Better than Kneads and anywhere else I've tried. Do not skip this place! read more

We had a really disappointing customer service experience here. PSA Parents: have your hot wheel car in hand when entering this establishment. There is a Hot Wheels display with a "take a car, leave a car" sign. Our young child didn't have a car to leave, so we encouraged him to speak up and ask if he could take one and bring a replacement back after his soccer game. As he started to ask, the owner didn't give him an opportunity to finish. Instead, she immediately told him that if he didn't have a replacement car, that he's stealing. The way this was handled was completely unnecessary and especially upsetting for a young child. He was devastated and kept crying, saying "I don't steal." And that's the point, if he intended to steal, he wouldn't have asked. We are teaching him to do the right thing. What kind of experience do you want your young customers to have? There was an opportunity to hear the child out and simply explain the policy. Or even offer to hold the car for a bit until he could return with his car. Instead, an innocent interaction turned into an experience that left a young child feeling like he had been accused of being a thief. A little patience and kindness would have made all the difference. We actually went back afterward, and spoke with the owner about how she spoke to a 5 year-old. We explained how upset he was and how the interaction affected him. Her only response was, " I understand, but we've had 24 cars stolen." There was no apology, no acknowledgment that the situation could have been handled differently, and no accountability for how she spoke to a young child who was simply trying to ask a question and do the right thing. What a missed opportunity. Had she simply shown our child a little kindness, we could have easily turned the experience into a positive one and had our child come back with multiple cars to contribute for the next little person who may not have a car on hand. Instead, we walked away feeling completely different about the establishment. read more

Diablo Doughnuts moved locations to a plaza in Nottingham - way easier to park than before. Went on a Sunday morning and it was really busy - no indoor seating but there are 3-4 tables outside. There were only 2 people working, so there were a bunch of people waiting for their orders and service was slow. One person was at the cashier, the other was packing doughnuts, making breakfast sandwiches, and the coffees. We waited 5 minutes in line and then another 10-15 minutes for them to pack our 4 donuts. I wanted to get a sandwich but figured the wait was too long. On to the donuts - I liked the blueberry basil and blackberry lime donuts. The blueberry basil flavor wasn't super strong but it was well balanced. The blackberry lime was my favorite - sweet and a little tart. The crobar (croissant-donut) texture was awesome but I did not rally taste the cranberry or orange advertised. The buttercream frosting on top was sickeningly sweet so ended up scraping that off...finally the coffee donut. Not my favorite but not bad - it tasted like instant coffee and was kinda punchy coffee flavor, bitter. But I liked that the bitter offset the sweet. Overall, it's a fun place for a gourmet donut but be sure to not get here when it's too busy and to come early - they sell out of fun flavors fast! read more

I tried the cookies and cream and the cream cheese in the middle was odd.. it had a stretchy consistency. I like their Cinnamon Toast Crunch one, that one is probably my favorite. Wow! In light of the things I heard from folks at the gym, their donuts are great...but when I arrived there were 6 people waiting for orders and a constant flow coming in. As I'd just come from the gym, I was pleasantly surprised to see they also sell food- breakfast sammys and grilled cheese and Smashburgers. I ordered 3 doughnuts and burgers for my husband and I. The burgers were phenomenal - the guy in line was right - and only $9. Very reasonable for the high quality. The doughnuts were very good ! Fun! Hey friends! One thing I'm gonna do for sure is reward myself with a sweet treat lol. I stopped by Diablos to celebrate leaving a job I hated which was close by. This was definitely the BEST way to celebrate. I'm still thinking about those donuts lol. Service was super friendly. I was greeted with a warm hello and smile from both employees. She was super patient with me as I decided with flavors I wanted because they all sounded so tempting! While these aren't the best donuts I've ever had, they're certainly good. They're worth the price. I paid about $13 for four donuts. The donuts are huge compared to average donuts such as Krispy Kreme. The texture is more on the doughy side, they're cake-like. I prefer light, airy donuts like Shoppers donuts. Even with all the toppings, I appreciated that they were not overly sweet. If I'm ever in the area I'll be sure to stop by at Diablos again. Was in the area, always wanted to try the place. My wife wanted Rita's from there so i was like I'll stop in. It was 1:48pm on a Sunday. They close at 2pm so i figured there wouldn't be a lot of options available. Which i was fine with. From the second we walked into the door the young girl who worked there seemed like she didn't want to be there. No hi no welcome, no explanation on how anything worked. I was looking at the menu and she was like "only thing left is in the window" ok cool. I asked her about the Sharmrock sprinkle doughnut which she yet again rudely answered. I was like I'll take that and my cousin got the pantry dropped doughnut because at that point we just wanted to get out of there so we wouldn't say something back ourselves. Checked out and she roughly placed the box on the counter and we were like "ok" Shamrock doughnut was alright (as i said i didn't expect super fresh because i came so late) The pantry dropper is A plus My review is strictly off the worker we dealt with. If she hates it that much don't work there. I would NEVER let a worker act like that to any customer esp a new customer. You never know who is and isn't coming through the doors. I could've been a tik tok food reviewer with millions of follows. Or it ends it up here with a unnecessary negative review I'll never return there again. No matter how great the product is. Not bad! The donuts are very beautiful, and I love the variety, hours are awesome as we'll we were driving through before a hike and it was one of the few places open that early! The creme brûlée donut - ample filling which is always a plus, but the caramelized sugar on top was hard of give that crack, which I would expect from the name. The Apple fritter was doughy and undercooked in the center, would have loved more apple pieces. My friend had no complaints about the maple bacon donut. This place was on my list when the location was closer to me. I went once, without planning, and got nothing. Tried once at this location, again without planning *smh at myself*, and they were almost sold out. Third time's a charm because I arrived as they were opening at 6am. There were 2 of us buying doughnuts and each person/employee greeted us with the warmest smiles and gratitude. It's a small but mighty and well decorated space. All doughnuts on display to help visual shoppers like me! I grabbed half a dozen to share since it's not so close. I got a glazed, a couple Panty Droppers, a Sin Crunch, a Berry Cheesecake and a Homer. I can personally vouch for the glazed, Panty Dropper and the Sin Crunch. All samples I had were delicious. Came here on an early Sunday morning at around 8:30 am. I parked right in front of the restaurant, so no issues there! I was craving donuts and this was the closest donut shop that popped up that wasn't a Dunkin' Donuts (no hate on the dunkin', just wanted something different). I was the only customer in there when came in. The lady at the register was very efficient and helpful. She asked if I had an online pick up order, so I assume that's the norm. I chose to get 6 donuts, but in the end, ended up getting 7. Whoops. I got a glazed (husband's favorite), a chocolate covered with sprinkles, apple fritter, a peanut butter chocolate one, creme brulee, a strawberry cheesecake one, and the blackberry lime. It was quick and easy. My husband and I tried them all when I got home. I loved the apple fritter. It had such a concentrated apple flavor, I could have eaten like 6 of those alone. My husband enjoyed the glaze and the creme brulee. The blackberry lime was super pretty but didn't have as big of a flavor as the other ones. The strawberry was fantastic, i loved the fresh strawberries on top. Why I got 7 donuts for 2 people? No idea. But they're pretty dense so you absolutely do not need 7 donuts for 2 people. Such a cute little shop. They are doing great in terms of safety precautions for Covid. The service is relatively quick for how crowded it was on the Saturday morning that I went. There is a large selection of really unique donuts-- it was hard to only choose a couple! We ended up getting the Unicorn Farts, Rainbow in the Dark and a S'mores. They were all sooo delicious. I was kind of disappointed by the unicorn fart but the joy I received from the creme brulee was far more than enough to make up for it.
