I love this place. Been coming here for years. This is still my favorite regional bagel shop/chain. You can see my previous reviews for how awesome this place is. The short version is you won't find better bagels dine in or to go in the area. Their menu is well designed with a decent variety of options without being overwhelming or trying to do too much. As a regional chain, they have several locations but this one is very well situated. There's a free parking lot and free parking on the street out front. They have a decent inside dining area and outdoor seating on the patio as well. During the pandemic, they kept going with delivery and curbside pick up and eventually opened for in-store pick up and eventually for in-store dining again. Over the past few years they have been rewarded with a growing and loyal customer base. All of this means that if you want to place an order, be prepared, especially on weekend mornings, for a decent delay as they will at times become swamped with customers. I highly recommend downloading and using their app. Much better than trying to use a third party app to order. Plus you get occasionally discounts/rewards. In order to help address the breakfast rush hour, a few years ago they installed a very large wall with alphabetized shelves for pick up orders. in addition, they recently added a monitor that shows which orders are currently ready and on the shelf, and which orders are in progress with a time estimate for when it will be ready. In terms of specific food items, I highly recommend all of the breakfast egg sandwiches. Be aware that the 'ham' they list is Taylor ham; also known as pork roll. Very delicious, but not the same thing as deli ham. All of the lunch sandwiches are well-made but I am partial to the low fat chicken salad. It's great on a bagel, cold, or on rye bread as a Panini. The french fries are a must have, and I would absolutely get them with breakfast or lunch. read more

A Baltimore classic! Love the variety of bagels and sandwiches here. The star of the show might actually be their house fries, which are thinly sliced potato circles with incredible seasoning and great combination of crispy exterior/soft interior. Easy ordering with the kiosks. The place has plenty of space for people waiting for their orders as well as a dining area. There's also some outdoor seating. The Canton location is dog friendly. No one said anything about my pup being inside and I saw other people bring their dogs too which was neat. We ordered lattes (mine had a shot of caramel to give it some flavor), the Crabby Melt (collab with Jimmy's Seafood), Egg White & Veggie Omelet, and some bagels to take home. The crabby melt was good and the omelet was decent. Nothing spectacular but good to try out. The bagels are probably the highlight along with my latte. THB has the best bacon egg and cheese bagels! I moved away from the Baltimore/towson area and I'm devastated! I tried out the canton location this week and it was just like how I remembered it. The location has plenty of street parking. There is both outside and indoor seating. You can order on their screens up front and they'll call your order when it's ready. I always get the bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel, the cheese is so melty, the bagel salty and chewy, and the bacon crunchy. They have side dishes and coffees as well! The interior is clean an bright. There's also a bathroom onsite. I will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again!! read more

I was craving a good breakfast bagel sandwich and came across THB near me. I loved the area in Canton, right next to the waterfront, a beautiful scenery. I also liked that it has ample parking lot for customers, as since living in Baltimore, I have encountered difficulty with parking, but with THB it was straightforward. Walking into the restaurant I was immediately greeted with a friendly staff. It wasn't packed at all, but it was nice and clean, and that's something I really consider when it comes to dining at restaurants. The employee asked if it was my first time here, which it was, and immediately helped me walkthrough the entire menu. She was patient in me taking my time to order what I wanted and was very friendly throughout the process. I ended up ordering a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and a smoothie which was around $11. It's pretty expected for a bagel shop so I wasn't shocked. The wait time was about 10-15 minutes, as some others ordered ahead. I enjoyed the music while I waited as well as enjoyed the waterfront view right in front of the restaurant. The sandwich was fresh and warm as soon as I received it. Overall quality of the sandwich was 8/10. The only thing I'd recommend is to add a bit more seasoning to the egg, but I overall enjoyed it and would go there again. read more

For a quick grab-and-go breakfast, my friends and I decided to stop by THB on a Sunday morning. My friend and her roommate both swear by THB, so a as a tourist for the weekend, I was excited to give it a try. Placing orders is a nearly contact-less experience; guests can either order from the kiosks or order ahead on their phones. I ordered a sesame bagel with jalapeño schmear. While it was bustling on a Sunday morning, my order was prepared in under 10 minutes (my friends' bagel sandwiches took a couple of minutes longer). Once our orders were ready, an announcer called our names, and a large TV screen projected the queue of upcoming orders. We took our food to-go, but there are plenty of tables inside and outside for dine-in seating. My sesame bagel was nicely toasted; however, the bagel itself was nothing memorable and a bit too dense. The jalapeño schmear was a standout to me, for it included ample chunks of jalapeño, giving the schmear a fresh and spicy flavor. Since THB is best known for their hearty bagel sandwiches, I would probably order one of those on my next visit. read more

Got a Bacon egg and cheese (mayo, jelly salt & pepper ik but its really good) on a garlic bagel. ITS SUPER LEGIT, amazing crunchy outside with a completely soft inside ample bacon, flavorful everything else. Ordered pickup 5 mins away and it was ready when we got there. AWESOME! This really made my morning and kept me full for a long time! As a midwesterner the bagels here were beyond my wildest dreams. I'm coming back here tomorrow morning! Building under a bit of constriction atm but not a huge deal just keep that in mind if you have mobility issues (we had to walk just a bit longer to get in). Overall ROCKS!!! The price is justified! I visit this location regularly and have found the service and quality of food to be inconsistent. I haven't had this same experience at other locations, Towson and Columbia, but Canton is closest to home. The breakfast sandwich I had today was great, even though my order was incorrect. I didn't ask for grilled onions on my sausage, bacon, egg and cheese sandwich but I'm glad they added them. I get the bagel scooped out and sliced thin. The bacon is never really crispy, which is fine for me but I know most people prefer it that way. I ordered my sandwich with scrambled eggs but the eggs I received were fried. Good unique bagels, but nothing special. I had an ice coffee and a bagel sandwich. The coffee was not drinkable, I had to take it home and mix some of my other stuff. It looked like it either had been sitting for so long, or was not made correctly. The breakfast sandwich was good. I liked the taste and it had a lot of ingredients. It was packed! And the taste was complimentary. My issue with it was that it was soggy right when I got it when it should have been toasted and crunchy. I didn't interact with staff so I didn't have that personal feel, but they seem to be working hard. The ambiance was sterile and didn't feel personal, the view from outside was really relaxing and I might even go just for the location. I probably won't go back but im glad I tried it. read more

This bagel spot is a classic in baltimore. There's multiple locations, though I frequent the canton spot the most. It's a fast casual spot, where the majority of people order ahead take out to try to revive themselves after a night out at El Buf. If you're dining in you order at the counter screens and your food is ready promptly. My favorite NY Style Bagel is the Uncle Gigi with chive cream cheese, Muenster cheese, avocado, cucumber, sprouts, and tomato on an everything bagel. The NOVA BALT is another favorite of mine, a little twist in a BLT with lox and avocado too. They have vegan options and a catering menu, and their online ordering through toast is convenient and easy. Coffee is great too. A must try next time you're hungover in canton! read more

I picked up an order for a dozen bagels. The bagels didn't last not more than one day. I called to speak to a manager in regards to this matter and whoever answered was beyond rude. She told me they were supposed to be refrigerated it is not her problem. Ive never once needed to refrigerate bagels in my life. BREAD DOES NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED. When I asked to speak to someone above her, she said she was the one above. I then asked her for her name and she hung up on me. This is completely unacceptable. I decided to stop by the the THB Bagels & Deli because I always see many people sitting in the outdoor patio which I suspected meant the bagels are delicious. The bagels did not disappoint! This bagel shop has a good location, plenty of on street parking and also in a lot at the end of the strip. We have spent beautiful days on the deck just watching the water,boats, and enjoying our bagels. They have really good fresh bagels and an ambitious staff, always ready to help you. I like the everything bagel with bacon, both have lots of flavor. My husband got the Italian cold cut sub and it was very satisfying, good quality meat, very heavy. They do have an app where you can earn points toward free bagels. We'll be back soon. read more

Ohhh THB. The facts are that you won't find a better bagel in Baltimore. The facts are also that they upcharge you for EVERYTHING. Want a different color bagel (like the St. Patrick's Day, Ravens or Pride bagle), extra charge, more seasoning (like the Za'taar bagle), extra charge, turkey sausage, extra charge. It's frustrating. I don't know how I've never left a review for the Canton location. This has been my go-to spot for a delicious breakfast sandwich for years. Honestly, I order THB at least once a month and I use delivery more often than not. The sandwiches always come warm, they're made exactly how we ordered (nothing like expecting one sandwich and getting a totally different sandwich), and I love that they're in foil so we can easily chuck them in the oven to heat up. You can't go wrong with a classic bacon, egg, and cheese or a sausage, egg, and cheese. I've had pork sausage and turkey sausage and they were both equally delicious. I visit this THB location whenever I'm making a run to Target (which isn't often), and it just okay. The bagels aren't the best that I've ever had, but they are decent and are enough to sustain me for a couple of hours. You must order using the tablet POS system, which I really like. It's super easy to use and I believe it gives your easier access to all of the menu options. I always get egg and cheese on an egg or egg everything bagel. I used to add salt and pepper, but they usually use way too much salt (enough to make you wince a little) ... so now I just ask for pepper! I wish I could try their lattes, but soy milk is the only dairy milk alternative that they offer. The location is kept very clean. After ordering, I usually sit in the booths until I receive a text notifying me about the status of my order. I find that this is a really efficient way to streamline orders and limit contact between the employee and customer. As a person who has no desire to get COVID-19, I wish more places utilized this strategy. read more

I have been searching for a good bagel ever since I moved here and though this place is not the best bagel I've ever had, it is good! They have a good selection of bagels/sammies and are pretty consistent! Good local bagel shop. We hit one of the newer places & would like to go to the original. It seemed like they are going for a Panera or Dunkin look. Not a great idea, imo. But what do I know given I do not own hundreds or thousands of sandwich joints. The bagels were good. We both had a wheat everything. I had a chicken salad that was ok. I will not shy away from THB in the future but have many other options that I have not tried yet. I will add that the customer service was great. as happens from time to time, our order was incorrect. They delivered 2 chicken salad sandwiches instead of my wife's turkey sandwich. When we told them, they jumped to the resolution. Apologized without excuses and delivered a fresh turkey sandwich. Then allowed us to take home the incorrect chicken salad bagel. We then enjoyed that the next day for lunch. read more
