Natural wine selection
Ana B.

Obsessed with this wine store. It's approachable but still hits the hipster bougie vibe with a wonderful selection of natural wines and as far as I know the only carrier of Hana Makgeoli (a wonderful Brooklyn maker of a lovely Korean rice wine). There's a chiller here to chill your wine and a lovely deli with a good selection of cheese and meats. My friend and I recently tried a coffee soda which was a take on a coffee Arnold Palmer which I ended up enjoying. I most recently went for a tasting with a distributor and bought three wines! The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly - they also have boxes to help in your purchase! I make the drive to come to The Wine Source - it's always a good time.

If the Wine Source in Hampden doesn't have what you're looking for, you're probably not going to find it. Their selection is extraordinary. I came in looking for an oddly specific Dominican rum for a buddy's birthday. The knowledgeable staff member found it in less than a minute. It was amazing. They also sell charcuterie accoutrements to boot. The Wine Source is more than a liquor store--it's an experience.

We just moved to Baltimore and Hampden, and we stopped in at the Wine Source to get familiar with the store. I was expecting just a small wine neighborhood wine shop, but the Wine Source is so much more than that! The selection of spirits/liquor, wine, beer, and mixers was so much more than I was expecting! From amaros to sakes to rums - they had such an amazing selection. Then basically a wall of beer...! And so much wine! (They even have a small natural wine wall.) Then on top of all that, they have a small food section - everything you need to make a great charcuterie board to go with your wine basically: cheeses, meats, olives, oils, bread, pasta, ... and more! This store is so much more than I expected. I will definitely be back. I fell in love at first visit.

Best selection in Baltimore in my experience, with a wide variety that you can't find in other places. Prices are on par. People who work there are helpful and friendly. I travel from Fells Point to buy my booze here especially when I want to buy something I've heard about online.

Good wine selection. Some parking. They offered someone to carry out my box which most liquor stores don't do anymore

What a neighborhood gem. I don't think there's any better named spot in the city: this truly is a…read morelittle shop that celebrates cheese in all its glory, but it's also so much more! There is a full wine bar as soon as you walk in that is about as prominent as the cheese selection, and there is a clear passion for pairing these two. Sampling a few cheese and wine pairings, then grabbing a bottle and a quarter pound of our favorites with a freshly baked baguette on the side makes for a really lovely evening. It can definitely get busy, but service is always friendly. They also have a little import specialty shop in the back (yes, there's a back...it's around the corner!) where you can often find some foodie goodies. This is a low-key place that is a true staple. And their events are always extra fun!

I have sat inside in there back room which is a much more quiet vibe as well as outside which is nice but definitely is loud as it's in Fed Hill. All of the staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable. There are a lot of people there for a small place so they definitely do their best at getting everyone served quickly. The food is very reasonably priced, the DELICIOUS paninis (not pictured) are a must as well as a cheese board to start off the night. I would definitely try a new combination of flavors because they were all phenomenal, definitely get the old bay Asiago though! Both times I have been I have bought my favorite items in their store which is a great feature and so satisfying to supplement my boring weekly groceries!
