    Mushroom cheesesteak (half)
    Melinda S.

Linden's is close to our home and we'd had a few recommendations to try it out so we stopped in for lunch. They have a big menu with a lot of options for breakfast and lunch and also a hot bar with pre-portioned selections. It is small inside; there are a couple of tables, but it's more set up for to go. The people there were super nice; Justin introduced himself and seemed to know a lot of the people coming in to order food. My bf ordered a mushroom cheesesteak with fries and I ordered a Reuben. Both sandwiches were large and generously filled. The fries were just okay in my opinion, but I'm fairly picky about fries. I tasted the cheesesteak which was good. The Reuben was tasty with a flavorful rye bread and good amount of sauce and kraut with the meat. I'm happy to have this spot so close to home and will definitely return to try more things!

Stopped in for a bite for lunch today. I was in the area for a work training and an employee shared this place as a food option. Their menu is huge and they have plenty of items to choose from, both hot and cold. The service was quick and friendly, especially the gentleman handling the cash register. It was a short walk from the building I was in and it was a nice day. They had many folks in and out and their prices were very reasonable! Especially compared to the food trucks in the area. I had a chicken cheesesteak combo that came with fries and a drink. I would definitely return if I were ever in the area again.

Can't even lie... if you're into decorum, ambiance, you're going to wonder why I gave Linden 5 stars. However, if you're into fast service, nice people that run the place & a quality chicken box, and a really big menu w/ a little of everything, this is for you. This was my second time at Linden & I got the same chicken box as last time to test the consistency and it's delicious. I walked in, got my food, and walked out in under 5 mins. I can't ask for anything more.

Nice people. Chicken box was really crispy and tasty and I got it from case. Quick walk from office. Clean inside and organized. Individual containers on buffet which is a nice idea. Can't go wrong.

    Veggie omelet platter

I don't know where in the city you can get a better veggie omelet for $7.50, but this is good. Loaded with peppers, carrots, tomatoes, onions and mushrooms, it doesn't need cheese and comes with excellent home fries. I added hot sauce, a little s&p, ketchup and mambo sauce because why not. I suggest calling your order in 10-15 minutes ahead. They get very busy.

I just want to inform America that as I type this review I am still chewing my delicious lunch from Linden Deli. Yep, just popped a chip in my mouth. Now I just grabbed a crumb off my keyboard from my sandwich. Talk about a working lunch! I was working my gums eating my lunch, hear what I say?? I stopped past this spot after seeing the reviews from two very enthused and satisfied young ladies and mainly after seeing that they offered a lunch special for under $5. This place did NOT disappoint. Today's special was a turkey sandwich, chips (or doritos or pretzels or funyuns etc) and 16 oz soda for $4.69!!! *fainted* I got my sandwich made to order (which in itself is never a small feat) and this sandwich was chock full of YUM! The cook was not stingy on the lunch meat either! I was pleased with the set-up of this deli and, although I wasn't attracted to the selections at the hot buffet, all areas of the buffet were clean as a whistle. The customer service was specTACular all around! There wasn't much of a dining area (as you can see from my photo) but it's okay because I just wanted my food for carryout anyway. There's also a HUGE variety of bottled juices to choose from and a great selection of "sub shop" variety food options. You can't beat a pay by the pound carryout PLUS sub shop rolled into one. I'm being told by my friends that the sesame wings are so good people go buy enough of them to make a $10 order so the next time I visit this deli (which WILL be soon) I may get them to let yall know how it is. Or just go find out for yourself! PS: Make a mental note of the business hours listed so that you don't go when they're closed.

Not impressed with this Waffle platter...I need a do over. Epic fail

The go to for quick breakfast and lunch. Daily specials all day. Open buffet bar you pay by weight. Like all mom pa shops you go enough its like the get to know your name. And if you are good you will get a treat with your change. The chicken box is by far the best choice you can make. Extra crispy with a great favor. They have big pieces of fried fish on Fridays. From jello to fried veggies can be found on buffet bar. The shop is small but you will be able to find a tasty treat.

Went today to pick up my order. Mushroom cheesesteak with extra cheese and French fries. I haven't had a sub in a couple of months but had a taste for one. Mushroom cheesesteak from what i remember you cook the Swiss cheese with the steak n mushroom all together. NOPE not here. French fries half done. Cold in the inside. This was a simple reminder of why i don't eat this type of food. Won't b back.

    Hot veggie sub
    Renee B.

Ok so, I would have given this business 5 stars. At lunch time I purchased a hot veggie sub today for the first time from this carryout. To my surprise the sub was super delicious. Enough that I figured Hey, I can't go wrong............So, I ordered one for dinner. Still delicious...................NOT. Boy was I pissed. It was just so good the very first time. Each time I placed the order I placed it the same way. Hot veggie sub everything no mayonaise, no cheese and no mushrooms. Extra hots and HEATED. So, when its time to pick up the order and get it back to my desk I realize this sandwich sure is pretty cold. I thought maybe it was the tea and my bag. NOPE You guessed it .........They made the sandwich incorrect.....It was not heated. It had mushrooms on it. It was so not made like the first time. I go to return the sub and when I get back I discover that all they must have done was reheated the veggies that were on the sub. The bread was not toasted. It didn't even have the same items on it as the very sub I purchased. Just when I thought that I would be returning again, I know will have to think long and hard. Is it really that complicated to make a veggie sub????????? Who would have thought I would be sitting here so disappointed.

Bacon platter. I started eating before I took the picture

I was not to impressed with my breakfast platter but my daughter said the breakfast sandwich was good. They also have a buffet which most of it didn't look to appetizing. However there must be something good the customers kept coming and they where getting them in and out. Customer service was amazing. My order was $9.93 they took down to $9.50 and gave me a hand full of candy. If I'm in the area again I may stop in to try something else.

I loved the selection of pastries they offered--the pandan pastry was definitely my favorite. My husband ordered the drip coffee over ice, and I got the Vietnamese iced coffee. Both coffees were excellent. The Vietnamese coffee was a bit too sweet for my taste, and it was served in a very small glass. I think it would have been even better with a little more coffee to balance the sweetness. For lunch, we ordered the kimbap and the egg bowl, and both dishes were outstanding. The only downside was that it took about 35 minutes for our food to arrive. However, the cafe was extremely busy and clearly backed up, so we didn't mind the wait too much--especially since the food was so delicious. The indoor space is quite small, but they do offer outdoor seating. I can't wait to come back and try more of their Asian-inspired pastries and dishes. What a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!

There's no flash. There are no gimmicks. It's a local bar to go grab a drink and you're not in the mood for the trendy packed spots. It's very unassuming and great neutral space. Anyone can show up, any time. Everyone's welcomed. You can have a good convo w/o having to scream thru it. MASSIVE PLUS *smile*!!! From a musical perspective, all sorts of genres pump thru the system and the ability to make selections is much better than other bars, which is great. It's even better when your selections are getting other people to enjoy the music and their time there, as well. Always a crowd pleaser. Aside from a fully stocked bar, there's a great beer selection. I happen to LOVE ciders and there's always an excellent choice available. The bartenders are always welcoming and accommodating. Good space. I was sad to see that they left. The replacement, however, has truly impressed me. The new & improved current location has nearly 'quadrupled' in size with its redesign/ buildout. The location is well lit and has morphed from a small neighborhood cafe into a full service vendor. Aside from a menu offering an impressive myriad of options, HM is also a massive grocer/ wine & cafe. They offer wine tastings and a very clean space. I believe they openEd in 2025. On to the stats: STAFF: Everyone is friendly & helpful. SUNDRIES: An expansive selection of liquor, beer & wine; snacks; candy; soda; coffee; household goods; grocer goods; Knick knacks.
