First things first, the parking situation around RHouse can definitely be tricky, especially on a Friday night, so I recommend planning ahead. Ordering was easy through the tablet, and the service moved at a decent pace. Our food came out in about 10-15 minutes. I ordered the chicken tenders with fries and tried the Carolina BBQ sauce, which was VERY good. The tenders were a nice size, crispy, and had flavorful breading. The fries were also a standout, the seasoning on them was delicious and made them even better. Overall, everything was good and flavorful. I'd put these in a similar category to the chicken tenders at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, which I've always enjoyed. I have to be honest, I was skeptical-- how different could chicken tenders be? The service is streamlined and the vibe is set by r house which is a football. The tenders were pretty big and I enjoyed the crisp of them even after dunked in the sauce. The spice level on spicy is actually unbearable. I'm shocked how spicy the spicy actually is. I usually go for mango habanero style wings and a 3/5 on Thai food. Dare I say the best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had! The chicken was so incredibly tender and flavorful, yet the batter was neither too thick nor too salty. This is a pretty easy spot in terms of choices...it's chicken tenders (which you can get on a sandwich too) with choice of side to go with. Don't get it twisted though, tenders here come with the option of having a kick or a little more of a kick and then you can add more kick if you know what I mean! Overall, you'd be spending almost twenty bucks for a chicken sandwich, fries, and a drink. Not ideal for a frugal gal like myself, but hey, you either buy it or not, right? I settled for just the sandwich and shared fries with my friend. R. House provides free water, which was nice. Now the sandwich was served on what seemed like a Hawaiian sweet roll. The downside to what could've been a pretty good sandwich was the fact that the maple butter and grease from the chicken made the bread super soggy. Butter and oil was everywhere! This is one of the many hidden gems of the R-House. When I say it's one of the Greta little places you have to visit in Baltimore if you haven't already.
