Amazing Sicilian bakery spot great for coffee and pastries or lunch/dinner. It's tiny inside so expect a line at the door. For lunch we grabbed a slice and the arancini special--it was a ramp pesto with cheese and it was actually fire. The pizza was a bit greasy for my taste, but flavor wise was incredible. WILL be making a comeback for the tiramisu in the near future.

Growing up in NYC, I think I'm good at deciphering a good slice. The slices at Doppio make me nostalgic in the best way possible. Proper crust and toppings to match. Inside is a bit small but plenty of outside seating, though I could see this place being very busy. All in all delicious drink, food and cute outside and inside decor

Pistachio strawberry tart

I first discovered Doppio at a library event where local bakers shared their craft, and their passion really stuck with me. Not long after, I started seeing them at the farmers market, which only made me more curious about what they were doing. I finally made my way into their cafe and ordered a matcha latte (not pictured) along with a strawberry pistachio tart. Both were excellent. First the tart was delicate but flavorful, with the strawberries balancing beautifully against the nutty pistachio, and the matcha had just the right smooth earthiness without being overly sweet. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which I always appreciate. The space itself is also unique. It's a converted auto shop that they've turned into a cozy, welcoming bakery/café. It feels modern but still relaxed, the kind of spot where you could spend time chatting with friends or just enjoying a quiet morning. I'll definitely be back to try more, especially their pizza, which I keep hearing great things about. Pro tip: The best time to go is in the morning before 10am when it's not too busy. The staff recommends trying their coffee and bombolinis. I know that'll be my next order.

Such a cute little place!! We came here around 7:30 and it was so nice to good grab pizza by the slice, amazing arancini, and meatballs! The coffee was also really good. The food came out pretty quickly and the staff was all really kind. I appreciate that there's no single use plastic in the store! That had dairy free options which was also great. Super cute, lots of seating options!

A lovely Italian café with a beautifully designed counter. I tried the London Fog tea and a honey cream bombolone based on the staff's recommendation. Both were great. I guess with fried dough and rich cream, joy can be that simple. The café has limited indoor seating but plenty of tables outside. I do wonder how they'll handle that once the weather cools down, but for now, the experience has been delightful. It's a neighborhood hub. People stop by to chat and read, giving it a warm, small-town charm.

I'm so glad they found a permanent home right next to greedy reads and across the street from R. house. Because they use sophomore coffee their coffee here is amazing. I am sad they got rid of the orange coffee, but their Cortado is probably my favorite in the city. I've yet to try their pizzas and main lunch items, but I love their pastries as well as their tarts. I stopped by again over a very busy weekend as it was greedy reads' lost weekend. Despite the crowd, they were so friendly and because they were out of everything I ended up just getting a sesame baguette, and I asked for some butter, but they didn't have any so they just brought me out a plate of olive oil which I thought was so lovely. Tremendous staff, it is a little small on the inside, but they do have a bathroom and a massive outdoor seating area. They include a standard 15% tip on everything and their prices are pretty fair. So happy for them and happy to support this place where the coffee and service is good!

Doppio Pasticceria is a Sicilian bakery located in the Remington neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland, which also has a little history behind the name. And you know I love to learn about history. Doppio means "double" in Italian and is commonly used when ordering an espresso. I also like that their ingredients are all from local farmers and vendors, even down to their coffee. They utilize Sophomore coffee, which is delicious. Now let's get into this delicious food and wine. Me and a few friends had a hankering for pizza and wine and honestly wanted to unwind after a long work week, So I suggested this place, and they have been on my bucket list for a hot minute. They did not disappoint. We decided to build our own 16 inch pizza with various toppings( pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions and calabrian chili for that heat), gotta have my spice. We decided to split a bottle of wine, which is so much cost effective than buying glasses of wine. We also did the dessert, I tried their cannoli which was okay, not my personal fave, but it was just okay. The pizza was slamming and I will most definitely go back. I will try the other desserts, next time I go I will say try to go on the earlier side so you can get a table or a seat, because it will fill up fast. Stopped in around 6 pm on a Friday, by 7 pm this place was hopping and the line was out the door. You really cannot go wrong with this place. SYOY

4'26'2025 Hubby and I stopped in this establishment for a Hot Beverage. I cannot negate the wonderful brick oven pizza aroma that spewed in the air. Oh my!! We entered and stood in line for a short time. Hubby ordered a London Fog Tea, I ordered a Chamomile Hot Tea. Both delish! Freshly steeped and prepared. We were in awe of the taste of our beverages. The décor was simple yet catchy. Fresh flowers on the tables. High top window seating and regular tables for 2 available. Cute!! Hubby and I will def return for more beverage and pie greatness.

Baltimore Bakery Crawl stop #6 of seven places! My best friend, her college bestie, her husband, and I spent Sunday 2/2 exploring different Baltimore bakeries. I tried two things here, so this review is based on that! At this point in the crawl we were looking for a "palate cleanser" so went with an arancini formaggio. It was a funny pick, but we were pleased. Everyone really enjoyed the cheesy excellence of this risotto ball. It was one giant ball that we split. I love all the natural lighting that pours into this space. There are plenty of tables to sit at. You order at the front then sit wherever. We also tried the lemon ricotta cookie. One of us was wishing there was anise in the cookie. I liked it for the most part. It was very lemony. I'd be excited to return to try other things on their menu.

Chocolate spice biscotti

I had seen Doppio Pasticceria on social media through a friend and I was in the mood for some baked goods so I came by around 10:45 am on a Sunday morning. There are precisely 3 parking spots at the bakery with free street parking also available (though be sure to check signage for restrictions!). There is also very limited (and coveted!) seating so you should expect to take your items to-go, and for drinks they do not offer any lids in an attempt to limit their use of plastic but this of course will leave your hot drinks become cold very rapidly. When I came, the line was massive, nearly out the door so it took me about 15 minutes just to order. Secondly, they do not rebake most of their items once they sell out, so once they are gone, they are GONE for the day so you absolutely must come early. I was very disappointed to see that virtually every single item on the bakery menu was sold out though they did rebake the bourekas so I was able to grab a fresh warm one of these. Chocolate Spice Biscotti 1.5/5, strangely soft and large, did not taste like a traditional hard biscotti, reminded me of chocolate cake in its softness, would not order again London fog 4/5, the Earl Grey is strong here, this was a nice drink that I would reorder Boureka 5/5, I have had many a boureka in my life. This one was more unique through their use of goat cheese which added a pleasant tang to the pastry and I would order this again.

Italian Soda - Vanilla Cream Light, creamy and refreshing. I liked that it wasn't overly sweet. They have simple syrup available for use, if you want to increase the sweetness. #ThisFeedsMySoulStatusConferred #CynBites Pizza Slice - Quattro Formaggio & Pepperoni Thin crust, I loved that it wasn't over mixed, leaving the dough airy and soft. Fresh milled in house for really sets this pie apart from other places. Cheeses were flavorful, large slice for the price. Pepperoni slice was covered in pepperoni! A tad more sauce would've been nice, cause I like sauce. Arancini - Palermo 1 large ball is what is provided. Rice was a tad gummy. I liked the presence of wine being forward on the taste to combat the gummy rice. Good amount of cheese on the inside. I tasted barely any sausage. The marinara was the star of the show, smooth, thick and delicious. Caesars salad I loved the homemade croutons. The dressing has a garlic bite that was good. I should've asked for a tad more dressing, as I like salad with more than a coating. Great staff that are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Location Street parking. A handful of seats inside. I love the sustainability practices and milling your own wheat berries to create your own flour is a special bonus!

I will say finding solid seating here is tough, and it is packed tight. But it is handicap accessible, and gets some great light. It's right across the street from a wonderful consignment shop and Ottobar, which makes it an ideal place to grab a quick lil bev if there's an outdoor market happening. The hours here are a bit odd, but otherwise I think this is a great spot to get some work done if you don't mind loud, dense environments. I also appreciate the space heaters sprinkled about the seating area to ensure everyone gets some heat in this large hall. I can only hope they do something with that awesome firepit out front.

Like the other location, pastries and sandwiches are all made on site. The price point is quite insane for a cafe in which I purchased a pre made tuna sandwich, cheesecake and a iced oatmilk lavender latte for a grand total of $27!! It was very busy with college students studying and a few others sitting inside. I was able to grab seating outside under the umbrellas as it was raining. My tuna salad sandwich was tasty but the bread a bit hard as it was sitting stacked up pre made. The cheesecake was okay and my latte needed to be remade as it was quite bitter. All in all, its not a lot to rave about especially with the high price point. I may return but its better options with cheaper price points.

This was my second visit, and it definitely lived up to the first. On my first stop, I had the ham and Swiss panini with a cookie butter latte. The sandwich was grilled perfectly, crispy on the outside, melty and satisfying inside, and the latte was absolutely delicious. I was honestly bummed to learn the cookie butter latte was seasonal because it deserves a permanent spot on the menu. This time around, I tried the breakfast panini and added ham, along with an iced sugar cookie latte (another seasonal drink that was so good). The food was pleasant and comforting, and once again, the drink really stole the show. Overall, Llamas Corner nails the combo of great atmosphere, thoughtful food, and creative drinks. I'll definitely be back... just crossing my fingers that some of those seasonal lattes become regulars.

There are two kiosks where you order. I got the french toast matcha latte which was ready quickly. The matcha wasn't the best quality or wasn't prepared properly, imo. It tasted very soapy and the french toast flavor wasn't very noticeable. I've definitely had much better matcha in Baltimore and wouldn't recommend Llamas' if you're particular about your matcha. Maybe their coffee is better? I also noticed a section on the menu labeled "gluten free" but the only option listed was a bag of chips. Would be nice to see some other offerings for GF folks.

It was a community dinner party with Chef Char. You had a choice of a ticket with or without wine pairing. Me and my friend chose the ticket with wine pairing. The ticket included two glasses of wine. The menu was not printed online so we went in kinda blind on what was served. The first course was a roasted vegetable dish which consisted of broccoli, fingerling potatoes and pears with a Greek yogurt sauce. The second course was chicken thighs with risotto in a tomato sauce and the third course was a granola strudel with pears. There was also an arugula salad with grapefruit segments and parmesan cheese. I can be brutally honest, none of the courses were seasoned well. The first course was cold, the vegetables were wilted and did not mesh well. Was not expecting pears to be with my roasted vegetables. The second course was underwhelming as well. The food did not have any flavor and the dessert was not my favorite at all. I only ate the fruit out of the dessert. The chef did come out and let us know what each course was, however I felt that she really wasn't too personable with the guests. A few of the guests at the table were her friends so she only engaged with them, and of course they hyped her up, however the food was bland and underwhelming and the majority of the guests including myself did not finish their plates. If there is another community dinner, I hope it will be with a different chef in mind As I stated before my review is of the event, not the business as a whole.
