This was her first time in Baltimore, and Bmore Licks helped elevate her experience here. I always order the Cookie Monster ice cream because it is my favorite flavor by far. The line is always long when I visit, but the service is fast. I really appreciate that they clearly employ high school students, and I love that they are always so professional and so sweet every time I come in. I never mind the wait because the service and the adorable environment make it all worth it. I also love that it's next to Patterson Park, which is one of my favorite parks in town! I sampled the cookie butter and the Cuban coffee Oreo and ultimately went with a scoop of the coffee Oreo. I can't imagine ordering more than one scoop considering how decadent it is. I really want to rate this at least 4 stars but we had an unfortunate incident tonight. We got to the ice cream shop around 8:30 on a Saturday, they closed at 9. I do try to be mindful of closing times but we were 30 minutes before they closed on a Saturday so I thought we'd be okay. When we walked in I was blown away by the options and flavors! I was so excited to try the soft serve. But then they informed us that they had no soft serve right now. We were really bummed but ordered sundaes instead. The guy who took our order was nice enough, but right after we ordered we heard some yelling in the back from a young woman. Something about "this dang job" and in general seemed upset/complaining. It was uncomfortable for us and the other customers in the store. We waited quite a while for our sundaes which were very good. I loved the brownie and the peanut butter Oreo ice cream. While we were waiting (say around 8:40) she started throwing away the cones and waffle bowls etc from the counter. Three parties came in after us and therefore were unable to order these items. We were the last to leave the store around maybe 8:50. They immediately turned off the lights. So it definitely seemed like she/they were trying to close early which is why they didn't have soft serve, threw stuff out early, and were frustrated about having to get hot fudge for us I think after they cleaned it up. It was pretty good the portions are great here compared to another icecream place I can think of! The soft serve literally came two inches out of the cup so eat fast. There's so many flavors and often are new experimental ones often! The pricing is really affordable which is great and they certainly give you a good portion for the money! I've tried the soft serve and hard serve; both were great but be aware the soft serve only comes in one large size! To date, there hasn't been a flavor I've tried here that I don't like! The vibe of the ice cream shop is casual and colorful, not ideal to hang out inside for large groups, but great for grab and go. There's a few small tables inside and outside! But even if you can't get a table here you can always walk across the street to the park to enjoy your ice cream! They have a wide variety of different flavors to choose from and that can be in premium handmade flavors or soft serve flavors. I've tried the cookies n cream (premium & soft serve), chocolate fudge brownie (premium), carrot cake (premium), fruity pebbles (soft serve), and captain crunch (soft serve). On this particular visit I got a cookies n cream pint $6.75, chocolate fudge brownie pint $6.75, and a large cup of soft serve fruity pebbles & captain crunch $5.25. All of the ice cream was solid but my favorites would be the cookies n cream (premium) and the soft serve fruity pebbles & captain crunch. My cousin raved about this place to me and took me twice. The first time, a few months ago, we got there and there was a long line. RIGHT before we make it to the front, the cashier calls out "NO MORE COOKIE MONSTER." Which was the exact flavor my cousin had raved about and said we had to try. This time around, on my next trip to B-more, my cousin took me straight there from the train station around 1pm-ish on a Friday. No line, and we each got our Cookie Monster cup. And WOW. Now I'm a sucker for Oreo anything, and this delightful concoction does not disappoint. Blue-dyed vanilla ice cream brings me back to childhood, JAM-packed with Oreos and chocolate chip cookie dough. And when I say JAM-PACKED, I mean no skimp, EVERY...SINGLE...BITE...got topping in it. I even felt like I could taste the BLUE, a cold, creamy sweet, flavorful vanilla-y goodness, down to the very last spoonful. And the price is right; I think I paid like $5 for a small?
