Vanilla Cappuccino with an extra espresso shot

This place is a hidden gem! I was just taking a walk and decided to pop in. They ended up having one of the best cappuccinos I've had anywhere locally! And the gentleman who served me were so patient and nice! 10/10 recommend giving it a try!

Yet another cute bakery has opened its doors in Baltimore. And offering croffles, a croissant waffle...what more can you ask for. I walked into a Demain Cafe and immediately felt the comfy and cozy vibes they exude. It's like stepping into a little European-style cafe right here in Hampden. This Korean American bakery not only offers croffles, but you can have items like their Bulgogi Melt or the Croque Monsieur and pair it with tea or coffee. Since it was lunch time, I decided to try the Croque Monsieur and paired it with a Matcha Latte. The Croque Monsieur filled my heart with joy. Thick slices of bread wrapped around cheese and ham, enrobed in a cheesy layer on top. The perfect afternoon lunch. And I thoroughly enjoyed the matcha. A pretty presentation of the vibrant grassy green matcha mixing with your choice of milk was very picture worthy and tasty. I settled on a slice of Salted Honey Butter Toast to take home, and I never knew a single slice of bread could be life changing. A crispy thick cut of bread encased in honey butter, sprinkled with crystals of salt, it was heaven. The staff of a Demain Cafe were really nice, making for an enjoyable experience. a Demain will definitely be a destination stop whenever I'm in Hampden.

Cute little spot. The croffle was good by itself. There are seats outside and there's not a lot of street parking. The worker was pleasant. I would come back to try the lox. The coffee was fine.

A Demain was very cute and quaint! The matcha was phenomenal and the croffle was tricky to cut with the plastic silverware but worth it. The lady working was so sweet and welcoming, she happily gave us some recs. I took a star away as the coffee menu was kind of limited, only one flavor and no lattes. I'm looking forward to going back after they possibly expand the menu!!

I visited à demain yesterday morning for the first time. We live in Hampden, and we're always excited to try a new spot in the neighborhood. à demain is a small cafe. There is no inside seating, but there are several tables outside on the porch. Their menu is larger than I was expecting. Half the menu consists of open faced toasts (5 different varieties), but they also offer quiche, croque monsieur, a bulgogi melt, a croffle benedict, and a croffle lox benedict. (Croffles are croissants-meet-waffles - croissant dough put into a waffle?) I got their lox toast (cream cheese, smoked salmon, pickled onions, capers, and dill), and my husband got their croffle lox benedict (whipped cream cheese, arugula, smoked salmon, pickled onions, capers, dill, and a poached egg on the croffle). Both were good - pretty classic. My only real complaint is that they don't have an espresso machine yet, so the only coffee you can get at à demain is a drip coffee right now. I'd be happy to check it out again once they are offering more coffee options, because the service was good and they have quite a few food options!

The almond milk made it creamy, which has become my new favorite milk choice when ordering matcha.

I've recently started working in the area and they are supper close thus I decided to try them out…read more I was very excited when I saw it was Korean owned however their K-food section is only two items; Bulgogi Dupbap & the Bulgogi Sub. The rest of the menu is American stuff. I've as of now tried both of these and very content with the taste and filling of these two, the price is reasonable per the portion and yummyness($12.49) plus tax about $13.25. The only thing I would change a bit is making sure that the juice from the bulgogi doesn't soak the bread too much cuz then it's mushy. I like a crunchy texture to my subs, but the may be just my preference. Both the son and the mom are super nice, if you become a regular it's very nice to have people know what you want right away. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I hope that they can incorporate more korean food to their menu, at least 2 more that have a different protein so we have a bit more variety. Though I understand why the options for kfood are limited given the area's population. Things to keep in mind: - When you order let them know if you want it to go or to eat there. Nobody can read minds, but they will do their best to ask you prior to packaging to confirm. - It can get busy so sometimes transaction may take longer because people are multitasking. - - - Don't rip out the receipt, you might be taking the wrong copy. Wait for the cashier to hand it to you or simply ask. -If you have questions about a product, ask them and don't assume. Yes. There is a big menu and pamphlets available and they provide brief item description but if that's not clear, just ask. They also have prepackaged salads, fruit and a few sweet treats, along with MissVickies chips, and bottle drinks. It's a cafe so the basics. Overall, really nice experience. Tots recommended :3

Solid Experience, But I Miss the Old Owner…read more Café on the Square is a reliable spot with decent food and a cozy atmosphere. The service was good, and the dishes were tasty, but nothing that really stood out. That being said, I miss the old owner--there was something special about his presence that made every visit feel more welcoming and personal. I hope the new management keeps things moving in the right direction. I'll definitely return, but it's just not quite the same without the old vibe.

I had the Southern Slammer Sandwich (with the grits) and my sister had the Fried Chicken, Biscuit and Gravy Omelet (with the hash browns). We couldn't stop saying how good they were! The service was on point, everyone was very nice, and the noise level was fine. Here is something I literally have never experienced anywhere else: My sister has a couple of food allergies and she gave the waitress a piece of paper where she listed out what she can and cannot have. A few minutes later, a lovely young woman (I think she said she was a manager) came out and discussed the list with my sister in detail, just to make sure the restaurant got it exactly right. My sister almost cried! As far as timing goes: They don't take reservations, but they have an efficient system -- when you arrive, they take down your name and phone number, tell you how long the wait will be, and then text you when it's your turn. They told us 40 minutes but it turned out to be only 20, so it's good we hadn't wandered too far away. Next time we're in Baltimore, we'll definitely be back.

Spousal Unit and I took the voracious pack o' GrandKiddies for breakfast after a Wicked-good night on the town in Bawlmer, hon. So we had to cart them all to Blue Moon! Blue Moon was featured on Guy Fieri's DDD show, making it (and it's second location, Blue Moon Too) insanely popular. As a result, it's always busy, and because of it's size, there is no space to wait inside until a table is ready. For a person with knee issues, that meant painfully climbing up and down the steps more than a few times (and did I mention is was windy and cold?). Once inside, it's a quirky place, with interesting art work everywhere - but the main draw is the food. Ah, the food... Blue Moon is well known for it's Sweet Baby Jesus (Hash browns topped with jumbo lump crab, seasoned with Old Bay, fresh diced tomatoes, melted cheddar cheese, 2 eggs and Hollandaise) and Captain Crunch French Toast (crushed Captain Crunch cereal encrusted French toast topped with fresh fruit and cream, served with syrup on the side). They also make a killer Biscuits and Sausage Gravy sized to feed an army, and a wide variety of pancakes, omelettes, and sandwiches. Our vultures overordered (did I say they were hungry?) but left not a scrap of food on their plates, a small wonder given that they are not adventurous eaters. Everything was beautifully cooked, promptly served, and delicious. Our server was a wisecracking joy - friendly, knowledgeable, and really efficient. She provided needed distractions as our GKs gnawed the table waiting for food to arrive. Way cool! Spousal Unit and I have eaten at Blue Moon Too in the past. It's comforting to experience the same joy at each location. Really, really recommend stopping in at eather (see what I did there?) location when you're in town. You will leave with a smile on your face and full belly!
