Found this cute little cafe that is inside the Revival Hotel when I was out and about exploring Baltimore early in the morning. First off I have to mention that the service was outstanding. Everyone was super friendly and helpful for it being so early in the morning on a Sunday. I got the cold brew and a breakfast sandwich. They make the food to order, so there is a short wait but it was well worth it. Food was amazing and the cold brew was delicious. I actually went back to ask what brand of coffee they used for it - it was that good! It's Black Acres Roastery if you are curious! Hotel cafe's are cool - this one is no exception. We were just looking for coffee and a bite. and Revival Hotel + The Dashery Café ended up being a good call. We got there just after 10:00 a.m. and placed our order. A few items weren't available -- no salmon/lox, and I don't think they could do an omelet either -- but it really wasn't a big deal. We ended up with coffee, fresh OJ, and Vernon's Breakfast Sandwich, which came with fried egg and ham on an English-style muffin. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and exactly what we were in the mood for. The setup is casual -- order at the counter, grab a seat, and wait for your name to be called. The café is at street level with bar seating along the wall if you want to look out onto the street, plus regular seating throughout. The person behind the counter was pleasant, the décor felt modern, and right outside the doors there's a cool vintage jukebox that adds a fun touch. The Dashery is located in the Hotel Revival. Its a small little cafe that seats about 20 people. It is very cozy and welcoming. It was not busy when I stopped by at 730AM on Thursday. Staff greeted me with a smile. I ordered the Revival Breakfast because I was hungry. The Revival Breakfast is 2 eggs cooked to order, choice of protein (bacon, sausage, Canadian bacon), home fries and toast. **quiet and beautiful decor I like this place! I'm a huge cafe person; I've tried so many in Baltimore. I prefer somewhere quiet so that I can do work--and this place is perfect for that! I came on a Friday mid-morning and got a regular matcha latte. I was worried it would be too weak, but it was strong!! I got so much work done thanks to the caffeine kick. The decor is very pretty, it has this mid-century modern vibe (I think). Plush chairs, very comfortable to sit in for a long time. There is a restroom further down the hall which was also very cleanly kept. Baristas are nice! But they were out of strawberry syrup, and they said they had been out for a while. This cafe is located in Hotel Revival. I needed a quick breakfast before hitting the road after a Baltimore work trip. This was the best option available nearby. I ordered a pretty yummy vanilla lavender latte and the smoked turkey club. The cashier was really kind and patient with me. I was in a bit of a rush and it took longer than expected for the sandwich to be prepped. It seemed like there were only two people working so it made sense, but is good to keep in mind if you're in a rush. This cafe had a lot of seating available for those that wanted to stay. Some people were working on their laptops while I waited. The sandwich was pretty good and a great meal for my drive. Nice cafe inside the Revival Hotel. I came here for breakfast and lunch during my stay at the hotel. Highlights were: Revival Smoothie: great way to get your greens in! They use real veggies and fruits here and so refreshing on a summer day Bacon, egg and cheese with Everything bagel: my fave breakfast item on their menu. Bacon was freshly crisped, egg was fluffy and the bagel was soft, on the inside and crusty on the outside. Make sure to say yes to the spicy aioli - it is delicious. Breakfast Taco with bacon: another delicious breakfast item. It comes with potatoes and eggs. Everything was super fresh. Also make sure to get the spicy aioli! coffee: also very good. We compared it with the coffee from room, and could really taste the difference. Prices here is high compared to other breakfast places but it being attached to a hotel might be the reason. Dashers is a small little cafe inside the Hotel Revival. We stopped in for a quick breakfast. The bacon, egg and cheese bagel was very good. The chai tea latte was amazing! It is a homemade chai made by one of the staff! The flavor was just right not too sweet. The latte was expertly made! It's hard to find a good chai tea latte so this was a highlight of my trip!! The space is welcoming with warm wood tones. Inside seating was comfortable with a Retro vibe. Outdoor seating is also available. Great staff too! Be sure to walk around the hotel too. We were visiting Baltimore and started our morning with a walk from our hotel in Fells Point to the Mount Vernon neighborhood, where we stopped at Dashery Cafe for breakfast. It wasn't quite what I expected - I had envisioned more of a formal, sit down restaurant, but it turned out to be a casual, order at the counter place. So I was walking to Penn Station and was headed to babies on fire but stumbled across this café while on my way and decided why not let's check it out. I was really excited to see that they have their own in-house syrups. I got the cardamom iced oat milk latte and I got a smoked trout sandwich which was to die for and very unexpected. It was cooked on whole toast. had a lemon dill aïoli, tomatoes, onions, and the trout was fresh. I bet their Rueben is just as good. Got an iced oat latte with brown sugar syrup and an oat cappuccino and was pleasantly surprised by both. the latte was great; sweet but not overpowering, creamy, strong coffee flavor. The cappuccino was very impressive as oat milk usually difficult to steam for latte art and the barista outdid themselves. Did more than just "dash" in--actually ordered and sat down! Dashery has been open two days, so let's give it some time. It's easy too miss, tucked away from the world and Charles Street eateries in the Revival Hotel (once the Peabody Hotel) with entrances/exits on Cathedral and Monument streets. It's a small but roomy enough café with cozy wood decor and plush seating, featuring a modest but satisfying selection of breakfast, lunch and caffeinated coffees and delightful teas. The coffee was a bit harsh for my tastes, but some cream and a touch of sugar rectified that! I did enjoy the curry tofu scramble and picked up the deli platter--just one of a few cool prepackaged munchie platters available along with salads, drinks and chocolate bars (I chose the crispy green dark). This café definitely has some potential as a cozy yet boisterous atmosphere from staff and customers alike. But not easy to find for a non-Baltimorean who doesn't know his or her way around. read more

We waited 45 minutes for our quiche - which was literally cold. They didn't have the original side we ordered and didn't tell us until after we paid. The horchata latte was delicious but it was also $8. Overall the whole mean was over $40 and it took us 45+ minutes to receive it despite being the only people in the cafe that ordered food. read more

Really impressed! I went to the Dashery Cafe today and ordered a hot oatmilk latte with cardamom syrup, which is homemade. It was excellent. It was a bit more expensive, with a latte being $6, the added flavor being $1, and the dairy alternative being $.75- altogether $8.21 with tax. However, it was a treat well worth it. It wasn't very busy and there were plenty of tables to sit at. The baristas were both very friendly! I appreciated that they have ceramic mugs if you want to enjoy your drink in the cafe. Also, they use Black Acres beans -another lovely Baltimore spot! Next time I'll have to try out the food. read more

Not sure how this "cafe" has good reviews. I ordered an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and a side of potatoes. This is what I received. Looks like a bite was taken out of the hard-as-a-rock stale bread and the eggs are microwaved. It is doused with some unidentifiable spicy mayo that isn't even listed on the menu, and the side of potatoes are not even cooked. The photos are before we even tried a taste. Such a waste of money. Cute little cafe in the bottom of the revival hotel. Aetheric and service on point as well as the food was pretty good for a quick cafe. An underrated spot. It's a hotel cafe, but it's open to the public. It's a very spacious, clean, and trendy looking place with a good mix of drinks and food. They have some specials, which was nice, including cold brew, cardamom coconut cold brew, and several syrups to add to your lattes. The cold brew and espresso were both top notch. The food was even better. We shared an avocado toast, which came on really good, soft bread, and an egg-cheese-bacon on brioche sandwich. The sandwich was spectacular. It was just what we needed on an early Sunday. The brioche is warm and toasty, with a spectacular old bay aioli. This was a nice surprise. Dashery is definitely not as well as known as it should be! The staff are friendly and the decor is quirky/eclectic -- it's a calm, good-sized environment to get work done in (or watch movies like me, haha). I had the chai-der (I think it's just chai spices added to hot apple cider), which I found absolutely delicious; the flavors were unexpectedly harmonious. However, the drip coffee was a bit unpleasant. I also had the frittata, which came in unexpected form as two muffin-tin frittatas with a side of diced potatoes (which were a pleasant surprise!). The frittatas were oily so I didn't eat much of them, even though the meal was a bit expensive. I would visit Dashery again to try some of the other specialty drinks. Although the food/drinks were hit or miss, the physical space and atmosphere were lovely. read more

Cute place for a quick breakfast. I attended a tasting event here and thought my Dashing Grounds specialty coffee was amazing... The best coffee drink I've had in a long time. I also tried their regular coffee black (how i usually drink coffee) and found it a bit too strong for my taste... Maybe next time I would add sugar and cream. The bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich had really thick bacon and delicious aoli. I would 100% order that next time. The other things I tried - the crab avocado toast, chicken sandwich, and avocado blt - were all tasty but nothing to write home about. If I was in the neighborhood or staying at the hotel, I would surely make this a regular stop, especially for the dashing grounds coffee. read more

Visited The Dashery @ The Revival Hotel because its 1.5 blocks from my new home and because I have a nephew named "Dash(iell)", its French. Ben worked with us - excellent customer service, very accommodating & even found chicken for Obie, my service animal! Those who are kind to my dog get a platinum star from me - very special. Dashers Cafe is a small, quaint spot tucked into Hotel Revival just next to the Washington Monument in Mount Vernon. The vibe is very modern hipster coffee shop, with both guests at the hotel and locals stopping by. It's a great place to grab a coffee, with a variety of breakfast options that are sure to satisfy you! My favorite is the tofu curry scramble, served with rice and pickled red onions. It's nice to make a change from the usual breakfast sandwich (but they do also have these). They use Black Acres coffee, a Baltimore based roaster. I typically go for a nitro cold brew but they also have the standard espresso drinks and a few different flavors if you're into that. They also have non-dairy milks (soy, oat, and almond). Definitely give this a try whether you're staying at the hotel or just in the area looking for a new place to try! read more

The one vegan option, the tofu scramble, is one of the best scrambles I've had in this city. All the others I've had are too salty. This one is just right for me!! The menu is not labeled. VG = Vegan. V = Vegetarian. Apparently we are supposed to guess? Wish they used the universal symbol of for vegan. I accidentally ordered the Potato Frittatas thinking it was vegan. They offered to replace it. Wish they had a vegan lunch option...... The tropical smoothie is refreshing! Restaurant waste info: Everything is served in plastic containers. I have a class that happens really close by to this place every week. My friends and I stopped by to grab some snacks after class and I had the avocado toast and a coffee. The avocado toast was alright! At the time I was doing keto and they didn't really have any keto options, but they have plenty of vegetarian options for me. The interior is very beautifully decorated and it is so relaxing. I tried the peach tea latte today and I wasn't really a fan of the flavor combination however I would definitely come back and try a different one. They also have smoothies bagels sandwiches and juices. I also grabbed an everything bagel with cream cheese and they packaged extra cream cheese for me on the side which was very nice. Their packaging is compostable which I really enjoy as I don't feel as bad for the environment when I come here. The gentleman at the door always very generous and open the doors for us. This café is located underneath a hotel so they will ask you if you are a guest of the hotel. I would definitely continue to come back here because it is close to my class and it was just so aesthetically pleasing inside. The menu has changed and has been downsized. The offerings are no longer as delicious and appetizing as they once were. The breakfast sandwich is no longer the same and feels less considered, less rich. Had the Avo toast as well and, as other's photos depict, looks hilariously crude.
