One of my favorite spots in Baltimore for a coffee in the morning by the water and a spot to get a pastry or sandwich. Fresh delicious sandwich's, fresh baked pastries, and solid coffee drink options. The staff are always so warm and welcoming. The place has tons of seating inside and out with WiFi. So a nice place to sit and do some work. I'm a fan of their cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee for breakfast. Cinnamon roll is topped with delicious cream cheese frosting and the coffee is always fresh and not bitter. Definitely a Baltimore favorite and a recommend to check out for sure.

Best ambiance in Baltimore for coffee shops. Fantastic food, drinks, and views/vibes. Service is always solid. The prices are on the higher side but you're paying for quality.

Maybe we picked the wrong weekend to try a new place... the weekend before the 4th of July when all the planes and boats were about but we wanted to make the weekly farmers market and try a new place for coffee and breakfast. We were greeted immediately with a line, which is a good thing. What was an issue for me is the dysfunction of the line to order, the area to pick up to go orders and the area for the server to bring seated patrons orders were all in the same place. Causing a lot of confusion and honestly, makes me question food safety. Anywho, we ordered the almond croissant, GF lemon blueberry muffin, and the vanilla bean cruffin along with two lattes. We were unimpressed with the beverages, it has a burnt undertone to it. The almond croissant was delicious large and flaky, no shortage of almonds. Highly suggest! The vanilla bean cruffin... okay... first time consumer, lifetime LOVER!!! Flaky and moist with the perfect amount of vanilla bean cream. I think about it often. The muffin was mid (as the kids say). Loaded with tart blueberries but the essence of the lemon was lacking. Great size and moist but wasn't giving the flavor mashup promised. I'd love to come back at night. The location sits right on the water and in the evening they have wine. Probably a great place to chat or create. I will definitely go back for some danishes and I'm interested in the rest of the menu. They also have some cool activities each night.

When we arrived in Baltimore, this was our first stop for coffee & a bite to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed the service, coffee and breakfast treats. Sitting outside was lovely, people watching and seeing boats go by in the harbor. Our party enjoyed an Iced & Hot Latte, a hot Chi Tea Latte and the other Iced. We enjoyed Almond Croissants, Cinnamon Roll and an Egg Croissant sandwich. All were delicious and kicked off our vacation where we were ready to explore!

cafe was alright. we didn't know after 5 they switch to dinner and other lunch options are unavailable and you have to sit in and can't just grab a table outside by the sea. service was a little confusing, not super friendly and bakery items were alright. i think you should stick to their gelato.

    Latte and Banana Bread
    Cammi P.

I've been wanting to try Pitango Bakery Cafe for awhile and I'm so glad I finally did. The highlight of my order was definitely the banana bread. Filled with so many banana chunks and perfectly baked topped, it was the best accompaniment to my latte. It was busy but service was great and the workers were confidently able to tell me that the banana bread did not contain nuts. The coffee came out quick. Sitting inside was definitely the move on this cold day, but with many tables and seats, it was easy to find a table. I would love to go back and try the sandwiches. Additionally, for the coffees being one size, it was pretty large, was a good value, and definitely had a lot of espresso in it.

Rustic sandwich, polenta fries, and meatballs

The sandwich was 10/10. The seas salt focaccia was phenomenal - makes you want to take some home! The prosciutto, basil and mozzarella was an incredibly combo and look at the size of it! I wasn't the biggest fan of the polenta fries - I'm more partial to regular fries and wish there were just more in general rather than just 5-6. The meatballs though - the pesto and meatballs went really well and would love to have it as a sandwich. The service was great and even let my friend and I move from outdoors to indoors when it started raining!

Beautiful space -- perfect for co-working, grabbing a quick bite, or hanging out with friends! I stopped by to try their new Roman-style pizza and absolutely loved it. My favorite was the Nduja, topped with spicy pork salami spread and creamy stracciatella cheese. The Roman-style pizza paired perfectly with a refreshing Hugo Spritz The service was wonderful too -- everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I'll 100% be back to see what else Pitango has to offer and to soak in those gorgeous waterfront views!

I really enjoy the sandwiches and pastries that they have here. The coffee is also good. It does get a little busy sometimes. But a great place to get some work done during the day while enjoying a pastry. They also have outside seating by the water when it's nicer out. The pastries were really fluffy. I got the mascarpone and jam croissant and I enjoyed it.

Iced London fog with lavender syrup
    Jendai S.

The staff was very friendly and kind when I was taking forever to order. I got a London fog with lavender syrup (which was an extra 1.25) but it was very sweet and very good. I also got a earl grey loaf, mine wasn't warmed but I think if you asked for them to warm it, it will be so much better! The bakery also has space for you to sit down and work with tables more 4, and a longer table towards the side that is near outlets. It's worth a try if you are looking for a bakery to sit and do work near the hospital!

I was in the area so I decided to check this place out-- it's pretty spacious and a good spot if folks want to get some café work done. The folks working here were fine I feel like they were used to a lot of foot traffic and wanted to get your order and give it to you. The coffee and coffee cake was just so-so, it is a pretty pricey joint. There's a lot of parking in this area but be mindful of the cobblestone like ground

The family was exploring the Fells Point neighborhood. We decided to try this place for our late afternoon coffee break because it was located next to water front with a good view. We were surprised by the full table service, we thought it would be a casual counter coffee shack. We ordered coffee and tea. The drinks were good, but the friendly waitress seem to be hurrying us. I supposed they wanted to get ready to dinner service. Prices were in line with the competitors.

    Comedy show.
    Greg S.

Amazing! Came here for a free comedy show that is hosted once a month on Friday. Here you can grad a lovely pastry and also a glass of wine. I feel like Pitango is the best kept secret. Most go to pitango for authentic Italian ice gelato but a lot do not know about the cafe that is a few step down the block. The areas was clean well lit and friendly. The atmosphere was a vibe. Pitango has daily events/ specials every day. I'll come back for trivia day on Thursday. The comedy show was live unscripted comedy. Even staff played a part in the stand up. Staff did an amazing job.

I didn’t see any when I went there just 3 weeks ago.

Can I use my laptop here?

Yes! There are outlets and space to sit and do work.

    Do they make London Fogs?

Just so I know why are there two different address for this spot?

Hey Ashley, it's because one location serves coffee and gelato and the other location on Ann St & Thames serves their cafe food and drinks.

What I didn't appreciate was my drink being served in a soggy, soaking wet/condensing cup. They use paper to go cups. They need to figure that out, it was pretty rough to hold - collapsing and soggy, not a great experience. Our pastries were just okay - got the fig/creme filled big puff and a spinach ricotta pastry. Both were fine, a bit dry, and I've had similar/better things from Tous Le Jous, cafe dear Leon, and even ovenbird. These seemed maybe not so fresh. They do charge a 15% gratuity for all orders so we paid about $4 extra for a soggy cup and only okay pastries. Ultimately we just didn't love the experience and the cost. I'd come back to try the pizza and sandwiches but I will have low expectations.

As I was coming back to my car, there was a traffic cop giving out tickets. Sistahs' Sweets is, as you may have guessed, owned by two sisters and features sweet treats such as cupcakes and drinks as well as savory items, featuring their homemade cheddar biscuit. Upon entering, the ambiance was light and whimsical with punches of red and pink decorations and limited seating inside (wi fi is available) along with outside seating. The staff was pleasant and I placed my order: a crab dip stuffed Baltimore biscuit, a breakfast biscuit (consisting of egg, bacon on a cheddar biscuit), and blueberry Passionfruit and summer peach lemonades. My order was ready in no time. First the breakfast biscuit. The bacon and egg were perfectly cooked and sandwiched between a homemade cheddar biscuit, which was perfectly baked. This sandwich was really good. Now the crab dip stuffed Baltimore biscuit was another matter. The biscuit was nice a brown, but when I went in to cut, the inside was underbaked, dare I say raw. I was a little disappointed. There was a smear of crab dip inside, but not nearly enough to justify the price. I had to place it back in oven to bake enough for me to enjoy. Full disclosure, I did get a response from the owners who were very apologetic in what I received and offered to make it right with another one on the house on my next visit! Now THAT's customer service! Now let's get into the lemonades...both blew my tastebuds away. The blueberry passion fruit and summer peach had bits of fruit in them and all I have to say is that I really enjoyed them! Now my score was three stars due to the underbaked biscuit, but they could have easily gotten one of my seldom given 5 stars if that biscuit was baked through. Just more bake time is needed. All in all, I rock with Sistahs' Sweets and will gladly pay them a return biscuit not only to try the crab dip stuffed Baltimore biscuit again, but to try their other lemonades, cupcakes, and savory items.
