Always one of my favorites spots in Baltimore to grab a coffee and pastry to chill at. Staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Coffee drinks are fresh made to order and the baked goods are always delicious. Definitely a favorite in fells point and Baltimore

cafe was alright. we didn't know after 5 they switch to dinner and other lunch options are unavailable and you have to sit in and can't just grab a table outside by the sea. service was a little confusing, not super friendly and bakery items were alright. i think you should stick to their gelato.

When we arrived in Baltimore, this was our first stop for coffee & a bite to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed the service, coffee and breakfast treats. Sitting outside was lovely, people watching and seeing boats go by in the harbor. Our party enjoyed an Iced & Hot Latte, a hot Chi Tea Latte and the other Iced. We enjoyed Almond Croissants, Cinnamon Roll and an Egg Croissant sandwich. All were delicious and kicked off our vacation where we were ready to explore!

Food and service was great! Employees are nice and the ambiance was lively! Will be back :)

The family was exploring the Fells Point neighborhood. We decided to try this place for our late afternoon coffee break because it was located next to water front with a good view. We were surprised by the full table service, we thought it would be a casual counter coffee shack. We ordered coffee and tea. The drinks were good, but the friendly waitress seem to be hurrying us. I supposed they wanted to get ready to dinner service. Prices were in line with the competitors.

Rustic sandwich, polenta fries, and meatballs

The sandwich was 10/10. The seas salt focaccia was phenomenal - makes you want to take some home! The prosciutto, basil and mozzarella was an incredibly combo and look at the size of it! I wasn't the biggest fan of the polenta fries - I'm more partial to regular fries and wish there were just more in general rather than just 5-6. The meatballs though - the pesto and meatballs went really well and would love to have it as a sandwich. The service was great and even let my friend and I move from outdoors to indoors when it started raining!

    Latte and Banana Bread

I've been wanting to try Pitango Bakery Cafe for awhile and I'm so glad I finally did. The highlight of my order was definitely the banana bread. Filled with so many banana chunks and perfectly baked topped, it was the best accompaniment to my latte. It was busy but service was great and the workers were confidently able to tell me that the banana bread did not contain nuts. The coffee came out quick. Sitting inside was definitely the move on this cold day, but with many tables and seats, it was easy to find a table. I would love to go back and try the sandwiches. Additionally, for the coffees being one size, it was pretty large, was a good value, and definitely had a lot of espresso in it.

I really enjoy the sandwiches and pastries that they have here. The coffee is also good. It does get a little busy sometimes. But a great place to get some work done during the day while enjoying a pastry. They also have outside seating by the water when it's nicer out. The pastries were really fluffy. I got the mascarpone and jam croissant and I enjoyed it.

Iced London fog with lavender syrup

The staff was very friendly and kind when I was taking forever to order. I got a London fog with lavender syrup (which was an extra 1.25) but it was very sweet and very good. I also got a earl grey loaf, mine wasn't warmed but I think if you asked for them to warm it, it will be so much better! The bakery also has space for you to sit down and work with tables more 4, and a longer table towards the side that is near outlets. It's worth a try if you are looking for a bakery to sit and do work near the hospital!

i came here around 4:30 on a sunday to get some work done as other coffee shop/work spots were closing around that time. i got a black tea which was brewed well and the bruschetta app. the tomato bruschetta was really good and i'm sure the olive tapenade would have been for someone who likes olives! i just really wanted the tomato bruschetta; i knew what i was getting into when i ordered it. the bread is definitely house made and is really tasty. the service was great and i liked that they brough a whole water jug to the table as i tend to drink a lot of water when i eat. the pizza looked interesting and i would like to come back to try it at some point. they say when they switch over to dinner that laptop use is not allowed at the tables (although we were seated at a table and not a counter despite having our laptops). the wifi also didn't work. it was good, but didn't totally wow me. i would be absolutely willing to give them another shot.

I was in the area so I decided to check this place out-- it's pretty spacious and a good spot if folks want to get some café work done. The folks working here were fine I feel like they were used to a lot of foot traffic and wanted to get your order and give it to you. The coffee and coffee cake was just so-so, it is a pretty pricey joint. There's a lot of parking in this area but be mindful of the cobblestone like ground

Beautiful space -- perfect for co-working, grabbing a quick bite, or hanging out with friends! I stopped by to try their new Roman-style pizza and absolutely loved it. My favorite was the Nduja, topped with spicy pork salami spread and creamy stracciatella cheese. The Roman-style pizza paired perfectly with a refreshing Hugo Spritz The service was wonderful too -- everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I'll 100% be back to see what else Pitango has to offer and to soak in those gorgeous waterfront views!

    Comedy show.
    Greg S.

Amazing! Came here for a free comedy show that is hosted once a month on Friday. Here you can grad a lovely pastry and also a glass of wine. I feel like Pitango is the best kept secret. Most go to pitango for authentic Italian ice gelato but a lot do not know about the cafe that is a few step down the block. The areas was clean well lit and friendly. The atmosphere was a vibe. Pitango has daily events/ specials every day. I'll come back for trivia day on Thursday. The comedy show was live unscripted comedy. Even staff played a part in the stand up. Staff did an amazing job.

Do they have high chairs for babies?

I didn’t see any when I went there just 3 weeks ago.

Can I use my laptop here?

Yes! There are outlets and space to sit and do work.

    Do they make London Fogs?

    Yes

Just so I know why are there two different address for this spot?

Hey Ashley, it's because one location serves coffee and gelato and the other location on Ann St & Thames serves their cafe food and drinks.

What is their parking situation like?

Street parking is fairly easy to find !

In the freezer/refrigerated section they actually had full gluten-free cakes which I have rarely seen in any gluten-free bakery just sitting there ready to be taken as well as other to go meals for you. The second part of this establishment is the café. But really it's a very good Indian restaurant. They offer some other things that are not Indian. We tried the pizza served on rice flour naan but honestly, I would skip that. We got the orange chicken it is made with tandoori chicken and the orange chicken seasonings. It was so good. It would take me a while to get through all the menu, but I would happily do that in the honor of research. It has a fairly decent sized dining area and then there's a bar area as well. We were there for lunch so I'm not quite sure how busy the bar area is or if it's popular. We are always looking for really good gluten-free places because of celiac and we were thrilled to find sweet 27 Café and bakery for lunch. I would also note that they had a lot of vegetarian and vegan options as well. Again, I would be willing to try all of the tofu dishes that looked really good on the menu.

Arrived in the afternoon during a busy weekend and decided to take out for desserts. My first visit and was underwhelmed by the service received. Rushed and transactional. Packaging was very sloppy and my napoleons were shoved to the side, making the clear clamshells very messy when I arrived home. If only the desserts were saving grace, but was left disappointed as well. As others have mentioned, the pastries do not taste fresh. The ricotta cream in the original cannoli tasted warm and gritty, the shell was stale. I noticed these were sitting out. The puff pastry in the Napoleons were soggy. The cream puffs shell was stale and chocolate topping was super sweet, unfortunately these were far from heavenly. Maybe another day, Vaccaro.

The vibe inside was relaxing. We were here for a few hours enjoying our coffee, tea and desserts and it was a nice place to pass the time on a cold, freezing day. The thing that dropped the review was basically the coffee and desserts. The coffee was fine, but just your standard coffee that you'd find at any gas station. The cannoli was overly sweet and the cookies we ordered felt stale. Interestingly, they charge more for sit down desserts vs. takeout. The servers were very sweet to share that we could order takeout and not have to pay the extra fee. Finally, not sure why, but there was not a lot of heating inside the restaurant. We ate with our jackets on, which was fine. But found that to be a little odd. Nobody seemed to know why they couldn't get the heat on. When it's below freezing, it would be nice to escape the chill. Overall, it was a nice stop. My kids loved it. But it was not without some quirks.

I asked if it could be sliced like the white bread loaf can but I was informed that the classic sourdough loaf is too large to fit in the slicer. I also love the fact that they offer a pay what you can program and a pay it forward option. And judging by their fundraising for important causes, this is a business I will continue to support. For $7, I thought it was a great deal for such a large and beautiful loaf. It froze and reheated very well too so none of it went bad.
