The ambiance is relaxing and cosy, stepping off of busy E. Fort Street into a lovely cheerful gourmet bakery with your only care being the decision of which delicious items to choose. The friendly owners answer every question to ensure that you are delighted with your selection. There are always interesting treats and this variety adds to the appeal of the choices. Pro Tip: come early for largest selection or call ahead to place a custom order. Fantastic!!!!

**helpful staff, cute decor! Yummy pastries The staff at La Cosette are so friendly and welcoming! I ordered a pistachio croissant and wow it was so delicious. The croissant was flaky and buttery without feeling heavy. The pistachio filling wasn't too sweet either (perfect for me). Since I was dining in, the staff brought it to me on a pretty wooden board. The inside is pretty small and the chairs are not the most comfortable, so I personally would not come here expecting to study or do work. It's more for casual get-togethers or grabbing a pastry and leaving. I'd love to try more pastries from here!

La Cosette is simply the perfect place to relax while enjoying some delicious Turkish coffee and fresh French pastries made right on site. The owners are simply fantastic people, so sweet and attentive. La Cosette gives you more than just good pastries, it gives you an unforgettable experience.

Super cute French pastry shop. I walked in and the server was sharing all about the pastries and goods with a family. He was very patient with them. He shared about their gluten free options that can be ordered ahead. I decided to order the almond croissant. It was around $6 and they do accept Apple Pay!!! First bite? It was delicious. Not too sweet or flaky but just right. The almond paste in the middle was sooo good. I can't wait to try other treats. This is a great spot to stop in on a casual stroll in Baltimore. The server was really nice and also gave me complimentary lemonade. The lemonade was house made and not too sweet. Perfect balance with the croissant.

As someone who's been to France, this is as close as you will get. It's a great mixture of Baltimore and Paris. All the food I have tried is fresh/delicious and the coffee is amazing (I love the coffee ice cubes) I've been here multiple times so far and will definitely be coming back. It's a great environment for me to study. Service is always fast!

Arrived in the afternoon during a busy weekend and decided to take out for desserts. My first visit and was underwhelmed by the service received. Rushed and transactional. Packaging was very sloppy and my napoleons were shoved to the side, making the clear clamshells very messy when I arrived home. If only the desserts were saving grace, but was left disappointed as well. As others have mentioned, the pastries do not taste fresh. The ricotta cream in the original cannoli tasted warm and gritty, the shell was stale. I noticed these were sitting out. The puff pastry in the Napoleons were soggy. The cream puffs shell was stale and chocolate topping was super sweet, unfortunately these were far from heavenly. Maybe another day, Vaccaro.

The vibe inside was relaxing. We were here for a few hours enjoying our coffee, tea and desserts and it was a nice place to pass the time on a cold, freezing day. The thing that dropped the review was basically the coffee and desserts. The coffee was fine, but just your standard coffee that you'd find at any gas station. The cannoli was overly sweet and the cookies we ordered felt stale. Interestingly, they charge more for sit down desserts vs. takeout. The servers were very sweet to share that we could order takeout and not have to pay the extra fee. Finally, not sure why, but there was not a lot of heating inside the restaurant. We ate with our jackets on, which was fine. But found that to be a little odd. Nobody seemed to know why they couldn't get the heat on. When it's below freezing, it would be nice to escape the chill. Overall, it was a nice stop. My kids loved it. But it was not without some quirks.

This bakery is awesome! Everything I got tasted fresh and well-made…read more My boyfriend and I shared the raspberry cornetto, strawberry maritozzi, and spinach and ricotta danish. My favorite was the cornetto; it was just bursting with fruity flavor. Nothing was overly sweet either, which is perfect for me! Decor is cute! There is seating indoors and outdoors. Food: A.) Pizza - one slice of cheese and pepperoni…read more Disappointed. Very greasy, soft crust. There are lower key spots nearby that serve better slices. B.) Arancini Palermo - Extremely disappointing. It was slightly burnt, and despite being described as containing a beef and pork ragu, I couldn't see or taste any meat. I initially thought we'd been served the Formaggi and even asked the server, who confirmed it was the Palermo after checking with the kitchen. The meat was supposedly very finely minced, but it was undetectable. Overall, the flavor was off. Service: They were nice, but slow and inefficient. When we asked for the check, we waited for about 10 minutes and no one had come. I ended up going to the counter to pay. After I had paid and returned to the table, my wife told me the server was walking around with a check, likely had forgot which table had asked for it. Ambiance: This was the best part. We sat outside, beautiful day. If you want to come to sit down outside on a nice day and have a drink, it would probably be enjoyable.
