I love this bakery. A fellow dog owner mentioned it to me, even though I had walked and driven past this spot multiple times a week for years. I finally stopped in and have been three times now. The third visit was on a Saturday, and by late morning they were sold out of everything except two loaves of bread, which honestly says a lot. Andy is incredibly welcoming. The decor is pretty cool. I have tried a few items, including something lemon and something cinnamon. That lemon pastry still lives rent free in my mind. I am already looking forward to seeing what they offer in 2026.

I came around 10 and they were almost sold out, but the cardamom bun I got was excellent! It's a small place run by one person, and there isn't currently anywhere to sit, but it's very cute and has *fresh* *homemade* baked goods. Will be back! The service was extremely fast but I was told it can get busy in the cooler months!

I really love this little micro bakery! Brunch Supply has become one of my favorite spots, and they keep getting better. They recently added a drink fridge, which gives you even more options. I always grab a can of La Colombe when I stop in for pastries. One thing I appreciate most is their rotating menu. In the summer they have strawberry lemon rolls, and in the fall you'll find maple rolls, chai rolls, apple stuffed pastries, sesame rolls, and so much more ( menu is ever changing!) Everything feels seasonal and thoughtful. They sell out often, which honestly makes sense because it has become such a community staple. If you love supporting small local spots and enjoy creative, freshly made pastries, this place is definitely worth a visit! When I come there's usually a fairly short line and it moves fast! Be sure to check them out!

The cutest homey bakery in upper fells point. I'm so glad they're open. They opened earlier this year. Andy is a gem of a human and was you feel so welcome at the store. Since it's a small bakery they operate F-Sunday and have recently implemented online ordering! The products are good - they are homey, and love the Baltimore Bap, - a roll that is just fun to eat. I also like their savories a lot - the scones are amazing and I recently tried their ham and cheese danish. Their cinnamon rolls are also good, get the orange one if they have it is my favorite! They also sell products for you to bake and cook with. I recently bought a bag of grits and can't wait to try!

This is such a cute bakery! They are only open Friday to Saturday mornings until they sell out and they definitely sell out so I'd recommend getting there early. I got the Cherry Streusel Kolache which was very tasty for those who like tart/sweet pastries. They have rotating menu items which is always fun and the service was great!

What a gem of a bakery. Nestled in Upper Fells, this corner bakery smells absolutely amazing when you walk in. The days open and hours are limited to check their instagram before you go. Fair warning, they sell out before their official hours end. I ordered a large cinnamon babka with powdered sugar. Per their recommendation, I made French toast and it was amazingly soft and flavorful. I got some scones and the sunshine double lemon bun. I haven't tried the scones yet but had to write the review based alone on the sunshine lemon bun and babka. The sunshine double lemon bun was a great swirl with bright citrus flavor and a nice icing that wasn't overly sweet. I cannot wait to check out their future menu items- check before you go since they rotate. They also have a pantry of items with coffee, maple syrup, jams and other items.

We got the coconut cookies and the peanut butter cookies to go and have been enjoying them all day long. In the freezer/refrigerated section they actually had full gluten-free cakes which I have rarely seen in any gluten-free bakery just sitting there ready to be taken as well as other to go meals for you. The second part of this establishment is the café. But really it's a very good Indian restaurant. They offer some other things that are not Indian. We tried the pizza served on rice flour naan but honestly, I would skip that. We got the orange chicken it is made with tandoori chicken and the orange chicken seasonings. It was so good. It would take me a while to get through all the menu, but I would happily do that in the honor of research. It has a fairly decent sized dining area and then there's a bar area as well. We were there for lunch so I'm not quite sure how busy the bar area is or if it's popular. We are always looking for really good gluten-free places because of celiac and we were thrilled to find sweet 27 Café and bakery for lunch. I would also note that they had a lot of vegetarian and vegan options as well. Again, I would be willing to try all of the tofu dishes that looked really good on the menu.

We got 2 pastries and 2 coffee drinks. I got a lemon spritz espresso soda thing which actually was delicious! My husband got plain iced coffee which was also good. What I didn't appreciate was my drink being served in a soggy, soaking wet/condensing cup. They use paper to go cups. They need to figure that out, it was pretty rough to hold - collapsing and soggy, not a great experience. Our pastries were just okay - got the fig/creme filled big puff and a spinach ricotta pastry. Both were fine, a bit dry, and I've had similar/better things from Tous Le Jous, cafe dear Leon, and even ovenbird. These seemed maybe not so fresh. They do charge a 15% gratuity for all orders so we paid about $4 extra for a soggy cup and only okay pastries. Ultimately we just didn't love the experience and the cost. I'd come back to try the pizza and sandwiches but I will have low expectations.

As I was coming back to my car, there was a traffic cop giving out tickets. Sistahs' Sweets is, as you may have guessed, owned by two sisters and features sweet treats such as cupcakes and drinks as well as savory items, featuring their homemade cheddar biscuit. Upon entering, the ambiance was light and whimsical with punches of red and pink decorations and limited seating inside (wi fi is available) along with outside seating. The staff was pleasant and I placed my order: a crab dip stuffed Baltimore biscuit, a breakfast biscuit (consisting of egg, bacon on a cheddar biscuit), and blueberry Passionfruit and summer peach lemonades. My order was ready in no time. First the breakfast biscuit. The bacon and egg were perfectly cooked and sandwiched between a homemade cheddar biscuit, which was perfectly baked. This sandwich was really good. Now the crab dip stuffed Baltimore biscuit was another matter. The biscuit was nice a brown, but when I went in to cut, the inside was underbaked, dare I say raw. I was a little disappointed. There was a smear of crab dip inside, but not nearly enough to justify the price. I had to place it back in oven to bake enough for me to enjoy. Full disclosure, I did get a response from the owners who were very apologetic in what I received and offered to make it right with another one on the house on my next visit! Now THAT's customer service! Now let's get into the lemonades...both blew my tastebuds away. The blueberry passion fruit and summer peach had bits of fruit in them and all I have to say is that I really enjoyed them! Now my score was three stars due to the underbaked biscuit, but they could have easily gotten one of my seldom given 5 stars if that biscuit was baked through. Just more bake time is needed. All in all, I rock with Sistahs' Sweets and will gladly pay them a return biscuit not only to try the crab dip stuffed Baltimore biscuit again, but to try their other lemonades, cupcakes, and savory items.

I asked if it could be sliced like the white bread loaf can but I was informed that the classic sourdough loaf is too large to fit in the slicer. I also love the fact that they offer a pay what you can program and a pay it forward option. And judging by their fundraising for important causes, this is a business I will continue to support. For $7, I thought it was a great deal for such a large and beautiful loaf. It froze and reheated very well too so none of it went bad.
