The service is streamlined and the vibe is set by r house which is a football. The tenders were pretty big and I enjoyed the crisp of them even after dunked in the sauce. The spice level on spicy is actually unbearable. I'm shocked how spicy the spicy actually is. I usually go for mango habanero style wings and a 3/5 on Thai food. This exceeded both I'll stick to regular next time.
Good as usual!!! I usually get the standard BRD sandwich. But they have a BRD box now and it comes with tenders, 2 dipping sauces, fries and their garlic bread for like $14. Great deal--too good to pass up. The food is always fresh and made to order. Definitely worth any wait, plus you're in R House so you can just people watch or grab a drink at the bar.
I went to this BRD location inside R. House and got the Hot Honey Old Bay Sandwich. The chicken was definitely right out the fryer - very crispy. There was also a good kick from the hot honey. The chicken was also moist and not over dried. While the chicken was hot, I did not really like the fact that the bun was cold though. I also don't like that the only cheese (which was $0.49 extra) they had was provolone. I feel like there should be more cheese options. The service was fast. You can order on their self-kiosk and they will call your name when your order is ready. There is plenty of seating (and parking) as it is a food court. You are expected to bus your own tables though. Ambiance was busy, but there were some people working as well. There is also outdoor seating available as well.
Dare I say the best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had! The chicken was so incredibly tender and flavorful, yet the batter was neither too thick nor too salty. The sweet chilli brd sando also came with slaw and cucumbers, which added a nice flavor and crunch. Located in R House food hall, wait time can be a little longer if during dinner rush. R House has a small lot you can park in, but if that's full, there's also street parking nearby.
Yummy food made fresh! The cook/employee was very sweet - and made sure my friend and I had our meals at the same time. When went to R house had a lot going on, but we were still able to find a seat, enjoy our meal, and have a great conversation.
Wow ! Just wow how good the chicken tenders plate was . It comes with 2 huge tender , fries , garlic bread , choice of 2 dips . Upgraded the tenders to spicy for extra 99c and got the buffalo sauce and honey old bay seasoning Dip for 49c extra. The quantity the flavors were just amazing . It's enough for 2 people . Chicken tenders were juicy , hot crispy and succulent with the spicy sauce smothered ! Served hot fresh and amazing. Fries were really good with the seasoning g adding another level to the yummy factor . For around 17.5$ a great meal. This place is in the R hall food court . Gets busy at this counter but service is clean and prompt. The R hall itself has a good vibe with many big groups eating out or working on their laptops . You won't go wrong if you want to try this place. We were glad we chose to order here
Super cool spot! BRD is in a food hall location that includes a full bar so you can compliment your food choice. This is a pretty easy spot in terms of choices...it's chicken tenders (which you can get on a sandwich too) with choice of side to go with. Don't get it twisted though, tenders here come with the option of having a kick or a little more of a kick and then you can add more kick if you know what I mean! I played it safe and went mild which was a great choice but could definitely go a little spicier now that I know what to expect. Fries were delicious to go with. Overall, a great choice among many for a great night out with friends!
Best chicken in Baltimore, and I'll stand by it. It's SO crispy and filling, and tastes legit. Affordable, huge servings ( they don't skimp on the chicken or fries ) and their sauces hittt. Such a guilty pleasure when I'm in Remington, and it never gets old. Like seriously, you will not get sick of this chicken. They're located in R. House so there's tons of seating, and the vibes are always good in there. It's like a trendy, groovy food court. And it's always clean. Service is fast and there are never long lines, although around peak dinner / lunch times they can get a little busy.
Why have I not been here before. I normally leave the ordering of chicken tenders to my kids but babbbbbyyyyy when I tell you to tore that huge strip up. It was so good. The fries were shoestring and crispy and the garlic bread was delicious buttery and well seasoned. The service was great at closing the guys served us like the just opened not rushed no complaints just happy people.
A filling lunch! The chicken is juicy and huge. Biggest tenders I've ever seen and quick service. With so many chicken spots around, I'd love to see more variety - Loaded fries or more sauces ON the tendies.
BRD! It's really GOOD! The crunch on the spicy chicken sandwiches provides a delight for your taste buds and an ASMR level of satisfaction to your eardrums. Their fries are crunchy, thin, seasoned, and they have enough potato to still give that fluff we are looking for. Only cons: for $4 bucks I would have expected a bit more fries, and I would personally liked more of the Carolina sauce as well.
Two visits here and I had heard such great things. People said it was the best chicken sandwich around but whether because it's hard to meet those kind of expectations or because a really fantastic chicken sandwich is harder to make than one might imagine, I found myself a bit disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but also won't blow you away. The chicken itself came in two pieces which meant that one promptly fell out of the bun. That said , it was very nice and crispy. The flavor, though, was lacking. Not bad, just bland. I got the sweet chili brd once and the bmore another time. Both sound like they should come with sauces packed with flavor. Both were bland. The bun was fine but again nothing special and the fries were standard. All in all, if you're going to R House I'd try something else and if you want an amazingly flavorful chicken sandwich go to Ekiben.
We came to this BRD location on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch, after scoping out the various options in R. House. They were quite busy, so we had to wait a bit to place our order and receive the food. It was a little pricier than expected - $13.99 for the two tender BRDBox + $3.99 for an extra tender. The toasted garlic bread was just a buttered sandwich bun. The chicken delivered though. The tenders were soo thick and juicy on the inside, and perfectly crisp on the outside. French fries were also well seasoned and fresh, and the BRD sauce was fingerlicking good. It's a good option amongst the R. House vendors, and we left happy and full. read more

An Eatbrd's chicken sandwich can easily be compared to the girl in high school that everyone wants to date. Listen...hear me out It's the thickest with all the right curves and angles Easy on the eyes The most popular Good at everything it does Outshines it's peers The perfect amount of heat And always makes you come () back for more. We got the Early BRD Sando, sweet Thai Chilli Wings, and the Jamaican Jerk BBQ Sando The best chicken sandwiches we have ever had! These chicken sandwiches are the definition of what a chicken sandwich should consist of. Full of chicken and not overpowered by any other ingredient. The chicken is the star of the show no doubt! I'd eat here any day of the week. Just wish they had a location in NYC and/or Philly. read more

We got delivery downtown from BRD from the Downtown location. A few of us were excited to order in for an overnight shift. Really excited to try their chicken sandwiches since I've hear they might rival Ekiben. BRD did not dissapoint. Two of us got the Bmore Bird which is apparently the "classic" one - it has dill pickles, Old bay and special BRD sauce (mayo based sauced). Boy these were good! Really hit the spot- juicy and a classic chicken burger that did not fall apart (too much) as we devoured them. I ordered the Bombay Bird (spiced carrott slaw, cilantro, and curry) which was only available to order from the downtown location and not R House/Hamden. But oh boy- was it flavourful!! Sweet and spicy and textured and so exotic and delicious. I practically inhaled it within five minutes of starting. I will say the spice and curry mix did not perfectly agree with my stomach- so caution. But flavor-wise it was fantastic. We also got a few order of fries- they are on the pricy side but they were perfectly crisp and deliciously seasoned. Overall would recommend for a slightly upscale chicken sandwich with several twists on the OG. read more

I was kind of disappointed with the chicken sandwich on a recent visit. It was made using chicken thighs pieces and the breading slid off as it was eaten. The wings were tasty and seemed fresh and flavorful. Fries were decent. I like that it is cooked to order. Hope they go back to chicken breast for the sandwiches. read more

I ordered the Lemon Pepper Chicken for my son, and it was amazing! I know that a lot of people love "Wingstop", but baby, let me tell you this place is soooo better! I tried one wing and I was went under a "wing spell", LOL! Everything was cooked to order and fresh. The seasoned fries were delicious, as well! I really love the fresh lemon flavor of the sauce that chicken is tossed in. I think that what sets this wing apart from any other lemon pepper chicken wing that I've eaten in the past. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant as "The Go To" wing spot! If you're in the Baltimore area check this place out, you will not be disappointed! Lemon Pepper Wings read more

This place is absolutely incredible. The chicken in the sandwich is huge, super crispy, and juicy. The BRD sauce compliments it well and adds great flavour. The fries are also super crispy and well seasoned. The garlic bread and coleslaw are fantastic too! In terms of service, ordering was easy and the food came out fast. My boyfriend loved it too! What a sandwich! Two large heavily yet deliciously battered fried chicken breasts on a potato roll. Every topping option looked awesome. I ordered the Hen, and it was so tasty. The sauce and slaw mix was really flavorful. The chicken portion is so big that you can tear pieces off and eat them like chicken tenders and still have a giant sandwich. It was $9 for just the sandwich, but it was a big portion. My fiancé got the buffalo chicken. She really enjoyed it. I tasted hers and liked mine better. We split an order of fries which was a big enough order for two. This place is extra cool because it's in R-House, so you can grab drinks at R Bar or dessert at the ice cream spot. There is also plenty of seating. The place is new and has an inviting feel. I cant wait to come back for that unforgettable chicken sandwich. read more

~ These we're pretty cool. I didn't enjoy them to the fullest because they didn't come out hot. Funny this is .. that was the whole reason why I sat inside instead of taking them home. Wanted the freshness to impress me. Even though I like my food microwave no matter what. I order the " Bmore BRD" with double chicken and a "Sweet Chili BRD". Both were solid burgers. Just too much crunch for me. Not saying they were fried hard because they weren't. I just prefer a less crunch as possible. The bums were wealthy enough to hold together the sloppiness of my sandwich. Don't have that too often. Fries were decent, but they came out warm as well. I would have probably rated them higher if they were hotter (in temperature, not spice). Make sure you get extra sauce when you order, cause they tried to play with the monster and charge me .60 per little container. But, since it was my first time, she lookout for the gorilla. That sweet chili sauce is the bomb !! Parking is decent. They have their own little parking lot and more parking around the corner. Customer service was love. Paid about $34.00 for the entire blend. I have eaten at BRD a few times and have enjoyed my experience each time! I often order the Bmore BRD, which comes with a plentiful amount of fried chicken patties, topped with their BRD sauce, pickles and a yummy warm bun. Lately everyone is arguing about which chicken sandwiches is better-- Popeyes or Chick Fil A, I'd like to throw in the obvious winner and say BRD!! Better ingredients, fresh, doesn't make you feel sick after and the fries are awesome! Can't beat that! read more

So I have passed by this place a millions times and finally gave it a go. So for this meal I got the chicken tender box with an extra tender and fries along with two dipping sauces. The box comes as expected. I was surprised at the size of the tenders it's basically more than half a chicken Brest so two tenders is basically 4 at any regular take out place. The taste is great not greasy and the dipping sauces are also great. So bottom line if your looking for a comfort chicken box this is the place to stop. read more
I've ordered for delivery a few times and each time was amazing! I usually get the BRDBOX tender meal. It's super filling, delicious, and cheap, so it's probably my favorite thing on the menu. My favorite sauces are the BRD sauce and hot honey mustard. I've also tried their buffalo sauce, but that tasted a little to vinegary to me. All the sauces taste homemade to me (I could be wrong though) and they're so good! The tenders are also HUGE (almost the size of my hand) and the breading they use is AMAZING! The chicken itself is almost always juicy. The garlic bread they give is also so soft, crispy, and packed with garlic flavor. Only thing is that it's super oily, but I don't mind that too much. Definitely coming here for my hot chicken cravings! I can't speak to anything else like service since I've never stepped foot in the store, but each time I've ordered delivery it has been smooth, my order has been ready fast, and it has been packaged nicely. read more
I strongly recommend BRD! The line is longer than the other restaurants at R. House but definitely worth the wait. BRD has a basic menu that includes sandwiches, drinks, and wings. SANDWICH: My favorite sandwich here is the B'more sandwich. The chicken is perfectly crispy, moist, tender, and topped with a mayo-based sauce. My only critique is that the sandwich could include a fresh element to lighten up its heaviness. FRIES: Seasoned well but could be crispier. WINGS: Cooked well but the sauce slightly overpowered the meat's taste. DRINKS: The sweet tea was authentic and tasted like the ones in Lousiana. Overall, my comments above are nitpicky. BRD is a solid choice and my favorite restaurant within R. House. read more

Got the Old Bay sandwich and it was amazing. Large, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The old bay sauce and pickles were really good. I thought it would be one large breast, but it ended up being more like two large tenders. Which worked out fine as I was sharing with someone. Will def go back to try more. The customer service ehhhh not so great. When we walked up they just looked at us. No greeting. Nothing. read more
The best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten. Lots of sauce, but not too much Two chicken patties so the sandwich is huge. Cut it in half to eat it. Could only eat half & saved the rest for later. This chicken sandwich is soo good. I love the old bay sauce and their dill pickle slices are the best. Haven't tried much else on the menu though. If you think Popeye's sandwich is good then you will fall off your chair eating this one. There's no comparison unless you head south to Hattie B's. This Market is very nice too! read more

Great place in R house if you craving some fried chicken sandwiches, I had the Hanoi hen with some fries, the chicken was crispy and flavorful and paired well with the pickled carrots and daikon. We went for lunch on a Thursday. This is one of the best chicken sandwiches in Baltimore. Also is conveniently in R house so there are great options for seating and other snacks. We got the bmore brd and fries with the brd sauce. The sandwich is great sized meal and hits the spot! read more
I visited this establishment after hearing about "R House" via Yelp and went to try it out. I was not impressed at all. I paid $8 for 5 struggling wingette's. I visited off reviews of R House and not this business. After visiting, I specifically looked at reviews for this establishment and apparently, I ordered the wrong thing. The wingette's were good on flavor (Jerk), it's just the menu wasn't clear that I would only receive 5 wingette's w/o a side. I also ordered a honey tea that taste like honey water. That was $3. I spent $11 and still had to get more lunch in an hour. Buyer beware! read more

You need to try BRD. More specifically, the Hanoi Hen. The location is essentially deep fryers with a simple assembly line with toppings. Simple and so, so good. I love banh mi, and the Hanoi Hen took those flavors and combined them with another one of my loves: fried chicken. The chicken was tender, seasoned well, and not dry at all. Definitely will be coming back and trying the other sandwiches. Highly recommend! read more

1/4 of the crew picked BRD so on her behalf: Her: "Should I get the Jerk or Baltimore Bird...I'll get the Baltimore Bird.". Her: "This sandwich is huge but too darn spicy, I can't really enjoy it & not enough bun to soak up this sauce." Her: "Here, try this & tell me what you think." Him: "Dang, that's a good sauce on piece of a backyard cookout fried chicken that's overpowering the bun." Her: "Well at least the Popcorn Shrimp isn't spicy & taste good." Her: "The Corn Salad is Ok, since I really want something salty, the French Fries would have been better." Me: "Well, the beauty of R. House is that you can keep returning & try something new until you find something delectable to your pleasing...now how was that Strawberry Lemonade you chugged down?" Her: "OMG, it was so good." I'm a French Fry Fein & wish places like this had a dedicated fryer for the French Fries so one as me could indulge. Kudos to the entire friendly staff. read more
I just went here on Monday and I must say the sandwich was delicious. I didn't even need the fries because the sandwich has enough chicken on it to make two sandwiches. The service was good. I would surely purchase food here again. It is located inside of R House. It was pretty crowded in the seated area but, I was able to find a great seat. read more

Love love loved BRD! I went to R House for Brunch on a Saturday. Now, just be forewarned that Brunch time at R House is definitely a mad house. Super packed and a lot going on. It didn't help that the day that I went there was some sort of carnival thing with a pony? The line and wait for BRD was long but worth it. I got their brunch sandwich, which was their signature chicken sandwich served with a maple butter. I also got a side of fries. First, the side of fries can feed two people. You literally get a serving bowl portion of fries. I liked that the fries weren't super heavy or large, so it didn't fill me all the way up so I could still enjoy the sandwich. The chicken sandwich had a good amount of chicken. They weigh out how much goes on each sandwich before putting it together. The maple butter was THE SHXT. It was the perfect amount to wet the sandwich but not make it soggy. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sweet + salty combo is a match made in heaven for a true Southerner like myself. I am definitely going to be frequenting BRD more often and can't wait to try them for lunch or dinner. If it tastes anything like their brunch, then I'm sure that I'll be more than satisfied. read more
Excellent! So good! My partner had recommended this to me...she went with someone else recently and described the BMore BRD as a life-changing experience...so I went for it when we went to R.House today! I ordered the BMore BRD as recommended...threw in some fries and a lemonade...turns out this is a combo and is $14 (vs $15.50 when you add the items together), so that was cool. The fries were small and crispy outside, soft inside...similar to McDonald's in size and style, but a better quality and not overly doused in salt. I thoroughly enjoyed them...but not the leftover ones that I took home and stuck in the oven to reheat...because I left them in for too long and they turned black. (Sad trombone) The lemonade was great! Not too sour or too sweet...quite refreshing and hydrating, really. The sandwich...the big event...oh wow! So...I'll start with the "downside" of this sandwich...and that's that it is too big. Now that's not really bad and you definitely get your money's worth...but it's like two sandwiches worth it chicken...so I put half in my fry container and ate it later. One piece of the chicken is still larger than the bun! The BMore BRD comes with pickles (locally made - very good, too!), Old Bay seasoning, and BRD sauce...now I don't know what BRD sauce is, but it seems mayo-based and is a lot like a chipotle mayo in nature. The breading on the chicken is flavorful and crispy and the chicken itself is tender and juicy. I really enjoyed this sandwich and can see why it could be described as life-changing. Cashier was friendly and helpful. Service was fast. I will return, BRD! read more
