This place is pretty dope! Definitely another great choice by R. House to have BRD be one of the partners. Their sandwiches are great and while the menu isn't too huge it has just enough. They also do everything that I've tried so far great so no complaints. The way the chicken is fried and prepared is amazing and everything usually comes out crunchy, flaky and delicious. It's so great how the chicken just seems to always have that perfect amount of moisture and tenderness to it. Last time I was here I got the Katso Sando which has some Japanese-style ingredients on it. I dug it a lot but my favorite sandwich has to be the BMore BRD (represent!). Their drink options are pretty basic with sweet tea or lemonade, not sure if those change at all. Overall, great spot would recommend for sure. read more

I had to drop my puppy off at good doggie day care and I figured I would get something to eat from a restaurant in the area. I had no idea what to get, so I went to Yelp for help. I ordered the Bmore chicken sandwich, half and half and carrot slaw online. Then drove to the R house parking lot to pick up my order. Because of COVID, no one is allowed to enter And a security guard is on patrol outside to ensure only employees go inside. You have to call and let them know you're outside and they will bring your order to your vehicle. It was hot, delicious, and a little messy. (Which I like). Many people complain about the breading but my sandwich was perfect. Not too much of breading and lots of chicken! I stopped by here a couple of Saturday nights ago with my wife for dinner. Since BRD is in R House there isn't too much to say about it other than it's a window where you order your food and then take it back to one of the shared tables to eat it. I had already eaten at two places on this evening but who can resist some fried chicken? As such, even though I wasn't particularly hungry I decided to head over to BRD for one of their sandwiches. I ended up ordering the bmore brd which came with dill pickles, brd sauce and old bay. After maybe a 10 minute wait my sandwich was ready and I was headed back to my table. The sandwich itself was stacked pretty high with all of the ingredients on it. It was good as well with the chicken having a nice and crispy coating on the outside while still being juicy in the middle. I also enjoyed the BRD sauce on it but not as much as the old bay which is also one of my wife's favorites. The bottom line is that I would stop by here again in the future. The first time I tried BRD, it was actually a few bites of someone else's Baltimore BRD ($9) - and it was impressive. Generous slab of fried chicken that was piping hot, well seasoned (albeit a little too salty), and delightfully crispy. Well worth the money. When I went back to R house, I was craving fried chicken so decided to try the Sweet Thai Chili fried wings from BRD. Not bad, but did not stand out, and prices were steep for the portion (especially relative to their chicken sandwiches). Beautiful location. Parking was good. But food does not compare to Federal Hill. Breading was not up to par. No comparison. It's hard to believe these are the same brand. I can't wait to Federal Hill change their opening hours back. I ordered the BMORE BRD- seems like I ordered a process breast- frozen then deep fried. The manager did refund me for the sandwich - almost half of what I spent - fries and tea was consumed. So I guess it's ok to have to pay for that. Popeyes is overrated period. First, this sandwich actually has sauce, the BRD sauce, is honestly FIRE. It's tangy and savory at the same time. For the price of $9, they give two pieces of chicken which is so worth it. The daikon radishes and carrots in Hanoi Hen were also a great pair to cut down on the grease. I don't know how long it was sitting there, but long enough for me to get a rubbery, cool in the middle chicken breast (it was a Sunday evening and I don't think they were turning out chicken all that fast). Aside from the issue with then chicken, the sauce in the sandwich is kind of spicy. So, if you don't like spicy (like me), you should ask for it in the side. Overall an OK sandwich. They need to work on frying those chicken breasts to order. Otherwise this is no different than a fast food chicken sandwich from McDonald's or Wendy's. People who come to R. BRD sandwiches are massive and filling! This place is one of my go-tos at R House. Each sandwich I've tried has been perfectly crunchy and delicious, and I'd recommend all of them! However, I will say this isn't a "quick and easy" lunch type of place to me, because these sandwiches are MESSY. When I eat here, I know to grab the whole stack of napkins and give myself some time to work. Of course, the work always pays off in the end! My only complaint is the bun to chicken ratio is a little off, and I always run out of bun before chicken. After hearing a glowing report from a coworker, I was very eager to try out R.House and BRD. So, for our anniversary lunch (don't worry, we're going somewhere fancy for dinner), my lovely wife and I decide to give this place a try. I was disappointed. The chicken looked great but I should have been suspicious because it was sitting in a warning tray like any other fast food restaurant. I ordered fries to go with it and was in fact suspicious when they too came from the warming tray because I love hot freshly cooked fries. Ok. So what about the chicken? I ordered the BMore Bird sandwich which consists of chicken, pickles, old bay, and some "bird sauce". It was piled over with chicken. However the chicken was bland and definitely needed all the toppings. Moreover, the breaking was a bit too floury, dry and dusty. Whenever I bit a piece without the sauce, I felt like I needed something to drink. I think I prefer a Chick-Fil-A sandwich--regular or spicy. The fries were thin shoestring fries--not my favorite but acceptable. However, they looked and tasted like they came from a big bag of precut fries. (My family ran carry out restaurants for 10+ years and I'm familiar with the product.) as I hinted at above, the fries were lukewarm. Clearly, that's a bad thing. I had all intentions of getting poke when we came to R House, but one pass by BRD and I knew it was going to hit the spot. I got Hanoi Hen chicken sandwich, which is BRD's take on a Korean fried chicken sandwich with carrot/daikon slaw, cilantro, chili mayo and cucumber. This sandwich was honestly perfection, the chicken was so incredibly crispy and it had a certain spice to it as well which I liked. The amount of chicken on each sandwich is nothing short of an engineering miracle. Granted, it does make the sandwich a bit difficult to eat but who cares - its very delicious. I called the restaurant and was politely told by Markelle (spelling may be wrong) that I could come to the restaurant to receive the rest of my order (that I paid for) either that day or the next. In efforts to resolve this manner, I was politely told that my name would be written down for the rest of the managers so they could handle this issue tomorrow (07/05). HOWEVER, when I called the restaurant the next day (07/05) manager Alison not only informed me that she could not help me in any way with my $4 basket of fries that her establishment failed to provide in my order; but, I should take the matter up with DoorDash since my order was placed through their platform. I informed her that I picked up my order from the store and it was not a Dashers fault for completing the order, but her staff. Needless to say, she was of no help and I was looking forward to those fries to go along with another sandwich (Jerk) I was going to purchase (07/05). Yet, I left empty handed, twice. There won't be a third. Maybe the BRD on Charles St. can show more concern for their patrons and the money they spend at their establishment. Eh, it was ok. We went to R House for lunch and I ordered a BRD jerk BBQ chicken Sando with a lemonade. Service was sufficient and I received my food fairly quickly. It was hot and fresh. Now the sandwich....the actual seasoning of the chicken was BORING! The amount of chicken to fried crust was out of proportions and most of my bites were fried crust. The chicken was juicy though. The "Jerk" part of the sando was a small container of very sweet, cold, watery sauce. It seemed like an afterthought. The coleslaw was one of the shining part of the sandwich. I could have eaten that all by itself. The bread was a typical Hawaiian sandwich bread (which was a good match) but it was a little squished when I unwrapped my sandwich. Came out with some friends to check out RHouse and decided to grab some chicken sandwiches. This is probably one of my favorite stalls. I came out a second night and they sold out of their sandwiches - I guess they're just that good. I ordered the Katsu Sando, which contained a massive piece of fried chicken, pickles, cabbage and katsu sauce. The fried chicken was on point. Extra crispy with some major heat, and the meat itself was tender and juicy. With the chicken, pickles, and katsu sauce, the sandwich was jam packed with flavor. The chicken was delivered in a potato bun and while I love potato buns, it didn't feel sturdy enough for all the contents. But I was still pretty satisfied overall. (3/15/2017) Went nuts in our first visit to R House, the new "eat-porium" in Remington. Place is a renovated auto showroom (Anderson's), gorgeous, new industrial chic kind of way. Love the different niches to suit different dining styles and sizes (little chairs for little people), including booths, cafeteria-style, bar-style facing no one so you don't have to make small talk, and crawl around spaces (for little or big kids). About a dozen or so stalls to start with some incubator/pop-up mini-stalls. Heard much about the infamous BRD "Chick Fil-A" knock-off sandwich. Def not fast food (although, didn't really expect it to be), but took 3X as long as the estimated 5-10 minutes, which stretched out to over half an hour to get a chicken sandwich ($10) and 6 small wings ($8). Love the tart, sour, thick sliced pickles and spicy mayo on the sandwich. They use a Martin's potato roll which is slightly sweet, a nice pairing, but small for the filling and a little too soft to hold up. Breast was a little dry buried inside a voluminous amount of very spicy, highly seasoned breading. It's a beauty to behold at first, but beware, it's all for looks and mostly breading. Wings were fried then sauced, a touch small, also rather dry. Thai-style was essentially Mae Ploy Sweet Chilli Sauce poured over top. Tasty. Pretty pricey for what you got. read more

Best place in R House!!! Had the katsu chicken burger and baltimore buffalo wings. The burger is beyond amazing!!! Chicken is perfectly fried and crispy, and you get your money's worth in proportion. Love love love!! The baltimore buffalo wings were a bit saucy/oily for my liking. The sauce tasted like old bay mixed with buffalo sauce, but I would've preferred it without the old bay.
